History of Atlantic

Founded in 1978, Atlantic is a celebrated boat manufacturer known for elegance, durability and performance. This stellar brand initially made its mark in the Dutch city of Sliedrecht, under the expert guidance of Founder, Will Lanting. Inspired by Holland's rich maritime legacy, Atlantic embarked upon a mission to create technologically advanced, aesthetically pleasing and highly reliable vessels. Westport motor yacht Atlantic for sale

The 32.9 metre Westport motor yacht Atlantic has been listed for sale by Will Noftsinger of Denison Yachting .

Built in GRP by US yard Westport to a design by Jack Sarin , she was delivered in 1998 as a Westport 108 model, the predecessor of the current 112 series. The interior accommodates eight guests in a master suite, two doubles and a twin cabin — all with entertainment centres and en-suite bathroom facilities — plus crew quarters for four crew members on this yacht for sale . 

The main saloon has an open-plan design with a formal dining area forward and there is also a dine-in galley with a dinette for informal snacks. Exterior guest areas include a sun deck that hosts a bar, seating area and Jacuzzi. The aft deck is expansive and hosts al fresco dining for eight guests with amenities including comfortable seating for eight, a bar, fridge and a flatscreen television.

She underwent a major refit in 2015 including a complete paint job, a new custom interior by Architectural Interiors , upgraded Garmin electronics plus many more upgrades.

Additional large yacht options include Northern Lights generators, Naiad stabilisers, and a bow thruster. Atlantic is powered by twin MTU 1,525hp engines that can deliver a top speed of 21 knots and cruising speed of 18 knots. At 12 knots she has a maximum cruising range of 2,500 nautical miles.

Atlantic is asking $3,995,000.

Garage with dingy included. 2 cabins with bathrooms. This 2006 FAIRLINE 47 TARGA is a dream of a motoryacht! She hails from Upstate NY. The current owner is a second owner and purchased the boat in 2011 from CT and transported her to her current location. The current owner has enjoyed traveling with this beauty through the loop through the Northeast and down south to Atlantic City, NJ. The boat is very easy to handle on the water, and offers a great space to spend time with friends and family. She comes equipped with a dinghy that has a garage for storage. The current owners have enjoyed making many memories traveling with her since 2011; the time has come for her next owner to continue making more memories with her and enjoyed traveling and exploring with her. Reason for selling is moving overseas.

Initially it was purchased in Houston with big plans to sail the Caribbean but life unfortunately got in the way. During that time I've refit many of the items on the boat and this is outlined above.- Yes the boat can be viewed in Key West, Florida, USA. For those that are interested message me and I'll give you the contact details of my local Key West broker.- The boat is currently Australian registered but will be de-registered as part of the sale. So the new owner can get the boat re-registered with the USCG.- Yes the boat is capable of offshore voyages, but no I wouldn't jump in this tomorrow and sail across the Pacific. Not due to any structural fault in the boat. I would add better water storage, a water maker, fit the wind vane, purchase some spare sails, fit a full bimini cover etc. before committing to such a voyage. Sunrise Yachts, a luxury yacht building company which is based in Turkey, has been made a main sponsor of next year’s 2011 Moscow International Boat Show (MIBS). The four-day Russian yacht show event is currently scheduled to run from April 14-17 at the Moscow’s Crocus exhibition centre.

MIBS is organised by the ITE Group and it is one of Russia’s leading boat shows and is an internationally recognised superyacht event. The show covering everything from small parts and accessories to large superyacht with over 9,000 people and 178 exhibitors attended the last year show.

The Paolo Scanu-designed Sunrise 45 yacht is an ocean-going cruising yacht that was released in 2009 to much acclaim at this was the group’s first-ever model.

Sunrise Yachts was founded in 2007 by the German entrepreneur Herbert P Baum along with the French-British yacht builder Guillaume Roché. The luxury yacht group is based in Antalya, Turkey and utilises a 10,000sq m shipyard facility. Sunrise has two sheds measuring 100m (328ft) x 16m (53ft), as well as a 70m (230ft) x 16m (53ft) fully acclimatized paint shed that can accommodate new-build and refit projects up to 65m (213ft) in length and 1,200 tonnes displacement.

Along each side of the yacht-building facility, space is available for long-term sub-contractors with the latest equipment and logistics capabilities, along with air-conditioned storage, ventilation and extraction plants. The shipyard is organized as an “assembler,” based loosely on the car industry’s model, with a small, yet powerful project management team charged with running all the in-house long-term sub-contractors.
