WHAT TYPES OF MATERIALS ARE USED TO CREATE THE ORIGINAL GHOSTBED MATTRESS?

We take care to select high-quality materials for the GhostBed, each with a distinct and important function:

• Outer cover - made with a blend of quality fabrics, the cover wicks away heat and moisture to keep you cool
• Top comfort layer - made of the finest aerated latex, our comfort layer provides ideal softness while absorbing pressure and blocking heat buildup
• Gel memory foam layer - with pressure-relieving gel beads, you’ll get balanced support that helps alleviate back, neck or joint pain
• Base foam layer - the GhostBed’s long-lasting, high-density foam core is firm enough for good spinal alignment without creating an uncomfortably hard-feeling mattress.

WHY IS IT CALLED GHOSTBED?

WHAT TYPE OF LATEX IS USED IN GHOSTBED MATTRESSES?

The GhostBed uses synthetic rubber latex, which is known for its versatility and durability.

CAN THE SYNTHETIC LATEX IN GHOSTBED MATTRESSES CAUSE ALLERGIES?

The allergy risk is negligible, as the latex core is washed thoroughly and the proteins typically responsible for triggering allergic reactions are denatured by the high temperatures we use during manufacturing. According to medical literature, there haven’t been any cases of allergic reaction to latex mattresses.

The soft mattress cover will also protect your skin from direct contact.

WHAT PILLOWS WILL I RECEIVE WITH MY ORDER WITH A PROMOTIONAL DEAL?

ARE GHOSTBED MATTRESSES CHEMICAL FREE?

Yes, all of our mattresses are chemical-free. We do not use any harmful chemicals in the production of the mattresses and all materials used are CertiPur-US approved.

ARE GHOSTBED MATTRESSES CERTIPUR-US CERTIFIED?

Yes, our materials are CertiPUR-US ® certified, which means they are:

• Made without ozone depleters
• Made without PBDEs, TDCPP or TCEP (”Tris”) flame retardants
• Made without mercury, lead and other heavy metals
• Made without formaldehyde
• Made without phthalates regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission
• Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million)

DO GHOSTBED MATTRESSES SMELL?

Like other high-end memory foam products, there may be a slight smell after you unbox the mattress. The initial smell is similar to a new pack of tennis balls or a new car. It’s normal and harmless, and will disappear with time!

The GhostBed Luxe is made using state-of-the-art, next-generation cooling technology. There are 2 stages of cooling that work together to keep you cool all night long:

• Stage 1: You'll experience instant chill thanks to our Ghost Ice Cover, designed with phase-change material and woven with cooling fiber.
• Stage 2: Directly below the cover is our Ghost Ice technology, designed to sense heat and adjust throughout the night. Is the GhostBed Luxe good for back pain?

Definitely! The GhostBed Luxe provides a medium feel, with a full 7 layers of comfort. Its pressure-relieving gel memory foam and high-density foam core conform to your body, supporting your spine and alleviating pain throughout the night.

How many layers include cooling technology?

Is a soft or firm mattress better for shoulder/hip pain.

If you have shoulder or hip pain , we recommend shopping for a mattress that’s medium to plush. A medium mattress, like the GhostBed Luxe, features gel memory foam that contours to your body, instead of pressing against it. And with a high-density base layer as the foundation of the mattress, you still get ideal support and durability.

Keep in mind, however, that your sleeping position can affect your comfort as well.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ORIGINAL GHOSTBED 3D MATRIX® AND THE GHOST SMARTBED - 3D MATRIX®?

We’ve taken our most luxurious mattress to date—the GhostBed 3D Matrix®—and made a few tweaks to turn it into the Ghost SmartBed. Adjustable air chambers take the place of the coils, but the top comfort layers are the same. You’ll stay cool and cozy with the gel memory foam layer, 3D Matrix polymer layer and our cool-to-the-touch Ghost Ice cover.

HOW DO I ASSEMBLE THE GHOST SMARTBED 3D MATRIX®?

Setup is easy! You’ll receive two boxes: one with the bed’s pump, and another with the mattress itself. First, simply unbox and unroll your mattress to let it expand. Then, follow the steps in the User Guide or Setup Video to connect the pump and air chambers. Finally, download the GhostBed App and complete the final few steps within the app.

If you’d rather us doing the heavy lifting, no worries! Add on our White Glove service at checkout for one less thing to worry about. The White Glove team will assemble your bed, make sure the pump and air chambers are connected correctly and haul off your old mattress, as well as set up your Adjustable Base or All-in-One Foundation™ (if purchased with the mattress). After delivery, all you’ll need to do is finalize the Wi-Fi connection on your phone or tablet, and get ready for a great night of sleep.

WHAT KIND OF FOUNDATION DO I NEED FOR THE MATTRESS?

The Ghost SmartBed is compatible with any adjustable base, box spring or bed frame. It just needs a solid surface to sit on.

HOW DO I ADJUST THE BED’S SETTINGS? IS THERE A REMOTE INCLUDED?

The bed connects directly to your mobile device or tablet, which is what you’ll use to control the settings. (Pretty cool, right? No remote to lose!) Devices are not included with the purchase of your smartbed.

WHERE AND HOW DO I DOWNLOAD THE GHOST SMARTBED APP?

To download the app, simply use any personal Android or iOS device to download via the Android or iOS app stores. You and your partner will each have a separate app for controlling your side of the bed.

DOES THE GHOST SMARTBED REQUIRE A WIFI NETWORK?

Nope! With its own WiFi chip, the Ghost SmartBed allows for a direct connection if you prefer not to connect to your home network.

WHAT IF I NEED HELP WITH THE APP OR HAVE TECH ISSUES?

Our friendly Support Team is always happy to help! We have a dedicated team right here in the U.S. that can walk you through any issues. If anything ever needs to be replaced, the mattress’s modular design makes this easy. But you certainly shouldn’t expect that to come up—just like our other GhostBed mattresses , the Ghost SmartBed is made with the highest-quality materials. DOES THE BED STILL FUNCTION IF THE POWER GOES OUT?

If your power goes out, the mattress will lose its ability to adjust until it’s restored. It will stay in the position and firmness setting that you were last in, but it will not deflate, since the air chambers need electricity to open or close. Note: we highly recommend using a surge protector to prevent any damage to the pump’s internal electronics.

HOW DO RETURNS WORK FOR THE GHOST SMARTBED?

Here at GhostBed, we take comfort very seriously. And with 20+ years in the mattress industry , we know a thing or two about it!

Here’s the good news: we get very few returns on the Ghost SmartBed - 3D Matrix®. Since it’s 100% customizable, it works for every sleeper type. If you’re not loving the comfort or feel of your new smart bed, you might simply need to play around with the settings a bit. Just like a new pair of shoes, sometimes a mattress needs some time to break in! Give our SmartBed Sleep Experts a call at (954) 710-0872 and we’d love to share our tips.

If we can’t help you get comfortable after the 30-day break-in period, our 101-Night Sleep Trial has you covered. We’ll send you instructions and a pre-paid FedEx box to return the internal components directly to us, and will work with you to coordinate the return of the mattress itself. How does delivery work?

Thinking about adding White Glove Setup to your order? We’re happy to help with the heavy lifting! The bed’s pump will arrive separately via FedEx, so all you’ll need to do is bring it inside and place it in the same room that your smartbed will be in. Once our delivery team has received all of your larger items (like the mattress itself and base, if you added one on to your purchase), they’ll contact you to schedule the best day and time for your delivery.

What is the difference between the Ghost SmartBed and the GhostBed Massage Mattress?

The Ghost SmartBed and the GhostBed Massage mattress both feature awesome built-in technology, making them two of our biggest innovations over the last few years. But there are a few key differences to know.

• The SmartBed is for you if you want to customize your sleeping experience. With the 5-zone adjustable air chambers, you can fine-tune the bed’s firmness and support for your sleeping position, body type and more. The mattress can also provide real-time adjustments as you sleep, thanks to smart sensors that read your body pressure.
• The GhostBed Massage, on the other hand, is designed to promote relaxation and well-being either before or after you sleep. For example, you can enjoy a 30-minute massage as you drift off to sleep, or get a gentle stretch first thing in the morning.

How Do I Pick the Right RV Mattress?

Most people spend a good amount of time researching before buying a mattress for their bedroom. It makes sense—you’re about to spend every night on it! But isn’t vacay sleep just as important? Make the right choice for your RV by considering the following:

• What size do you need?
• Do you have any sizing limitations in your RV, such as a bunk bed style or a cut corner?
• What types of mattresses do you like?
• What “extras” do you like—cooling features, pillowtop, etc.?
• Is there a trial period, in case the mattress doesn’t fit your comfort needs?
• Is there a solid warranty, for peace of mind?

What Size Mattress Protector Do I Need for My RV Mattress?

Great question! Although you can find RV-specific bedding, you can easily adapt our cooling mattress protector to the GhostBed RV. With our signature 2” elastic band around it, it’ll stay in place perfectly.

What Size Bedding Do I Need for My RV Mattress?

We recommend getting the regular sheet size that corresponds to your mattress; our luxury cooling bed sheets have a 2” elastic band around the fitted sheet edges to keep them in place, so even though the short queen mattress is a tad bit shorter, they’ll still fit perfectly. Simply tuck the top sheet in, and you’re all set.

Does the Ghostbed RV Mattress Smell?

Is White Glove Setup Available for the RV Mattress?

How Long Will It Take To Get My Order?

How Is the Ghostbed RV Mattress Delivered?

All mattresses are shipped compressed and vacuum-packed, and are delivered by FedEx. This means that your mattress will arrive in a much smaller box than you’re probably expecting. Don’t be alarmed! Our cutting-edge technology allows us to safely compress the bed for shipping.

As soon as you unpack your mattress , it will expand to its normal size. And watch it open—you’ll like what you see!

How Long Can I Keep My Mattress Packaged in the Box?

After delivery, you can keep the mattress in the box for up to 6 months. We recommend opening your mattress before then to ensure the best results when expanding it to its proper shape and size.

What Does Air Pressure Massage Feel Like?

The GhostBed Massage is like nothing you've ever experienced! As you start your massage, you'll feel the air cells beneath you inflating and deflating. You can choose from a variety of preset programs, like gentle rolling and waves. Play around to find what you like!

The pressurized air works to compress and decompress your muscles, which can help stimulate local blood flow. Dial up the intensity for a similar stretch to a foam roller, or keep it low‐intensity as a way to relax and soothe sore areas.

Keep in mind it's a little different from a deep‐tissue massage at a spa or the percussive movements you might be used to from a massage chair. Air pressure massage might be a new sensation for you, but we know you're going to love it.

Can You Feel the Air Cells When They're Not Inflated?

Nope! The air cells in the Ghost Massage Layer are soft, thin and undetectable when there aren't any programs running. All you'll feel is the ultra-comfortable (and cooling) cover and the cushiony, pressure‐relieving foam layers beneath you.

Is the Ghostbed Massage Easy To Set Up?

Extremely easy. All the components are sewn securely into the mattress, except for the control boxes and the air tube connector. There are just a few steps you'll need to do after you've unboxed everything.

• Connect the air tubes in the mattress to the control box.
• Plug the control box into an outlet.
• Repeat with the other air tubes and control box.
• Press the power button on each remote.

That's it! You can tuck the control boxes under your bed so they're out of the way. Once your mattress has fully decompressed, it's time to try out the massage settings!

Is There a Body Weight Limit for the Ghostbed Massage?

What kind of bed frame do I need for the GhostBed Massage Mattress?

The GhostBed Massage works with any sturdy bed frame, including our All-in-One Foundation and Adjustable Base .

What Kind of Sheets and/or Mattress Protector Can I Use With the Ghostbed Massage?

The GhostBed Massage pairs perfectly with our premium GhostSheets and waterproof GhostProtector . The signature GhostGrip elastic band on our sheets grips your mattress securely, even when the air cells are fully inflated.

Do I Need To Lie in a Specific Position To Get a Massage?

With the dual‐sided design, you'll just need to choose a side of the bed (left or right) for the best massage experience. Then, you can position yourself in whatever way you'd like—back, side or stomach—to spot‐treat certain areas.

Note: Twin XL mattresses have one massage unit inside.

My remote is flashing and/or isn't working. What should I do?

If your remote is fully charged and still not working, it may need to be re-paired to your control box. Simply press the “Home” button and then scroll down to “Bluetooth.” Select the network code that is marked on the bottom of your control box to pair. Press the “Home” button. Scroll down and select “Settings” and then select “Bluetooth.” Select the network code that is marked on the bottom of your control box.

If you’re trying to deflate the air cells, make sure the remote is unplugged from the control box. It will not deflate if it’s plugged in.

Most customers describe The GhostPillow ‐ Gel Memory Foam as a medium loft, but even that can feel too high or too thick for some. One option is to position the pillow so it's supporting more of your shoulders, not just your head. This will keep your chin from dipping down to your chest.

You might also prefer the GhostPillow ‐ Shredded, which is our adjustable pillow . You can add or remove the soft inner fill to customize its loft.

Will the GhostPillow Help With Neck Pain?

No, your GhostBed Adjustable Base replaces your box spring foundation. Your mattress is placed directly on top of the base. If you have a bed with side rails, the base fits inside most bed frames.

DO I STILL NEED A BED FRAME?

Nope! Your GhostBed Adjustable Base has 6 sturdy legs and does not need a frame. The base is free-standing and sits directly on the floor.

Why are the USB ports under the bed instead of on the side?

We’ve put a lot of thought into the design of our adjustable base! You’ll notice that with the USB ports underneath the base, they’re much easier to access no matter how you’ve arranged your furniture. With your cords facing downward—instead of outward from the side of the base—you won’t end up tangled up in them when you get in and out of bed.

My adjustable base remote isn't working. How do I fix it?

Can You Adjust the Height of the All-In-One Foundation™?

The legs on the All-In-One Foundation™ are welded on and cannot be adjusted or removed. Most customers don't have any problems with this—at an ideal 14" height, it's similar to the average platform bed.

Plus, who doesn't love hidden storage space? With 12” of under-bed clearance, you'll have plenty of room to hide away extra linens, off-season clothes, luggage, shoes and more.

How Far Apart are the Slats?

With sturdy, all-metal slats spaced an optimal 5" apart, the All-in-One Foundation™ provides a stable surface designed to absorb shock and prevent your mattress from sagging.

While you may have heard that 3-4" spacing is ideal, that advice is a bit outdated! Smaller spacing was the to-go in the past when thinner all-foam mattresses were popular. These days, most mattresses are thicker and made with higher-quality foams. Spacing the slats at 5" allows for extra airflow below your mattress without compromising on support.

I'm Looking for a Quiet Bed Frame that Won't Creak or Squeak. Is this it?

Will these sheets keep me cool?

The coolest of the cool! TENCEL™ sheets are known for being extremely breathable and moisture-wicking, perfect for hot sleepers and warm climates. It's an all-natural fiber made from wood pulp, so you'll feel good about what you're sleeping on, too.

What is the thread count of GhostBed sheets?

At GhostBed, we care about quality— not thread count . But what do we mean by that? Simply put, thread count is an industry standard that measures the number of vertical and horizontal cotton threads contained within one square inch of fabric. While it's easy to assume that a higher thread count means better sheets, this number doesn't take the quality of the fabric into account.

So here's what really matters: our sheets are made with a unique blend of 60% Supima cotton and 40% TENCEL™ fibers. They're plusher, more durable and will sleep cooler than conventional sheets. Since they are better than all-cotton sheets, thread count is not really an accurate measurement. But if we were to compare, we would say that our sheets feel and function better than sheets claiming to have as much as a 600 thread count.

What is Supima Cotton?

Derived from "superior" + "Pima," Supima cotton refers to American-grown Pima cotton made even better with superior technology. Twice as strong as regular cotton and inherently softer and more luxurious, Supima cotton is made using longer, smoother and cleaner yarn. The result is a feel that is softer and plusher. Additionally, Supima premium cotton is more durable and able to withstand washing year after year.

Never—the GhostProtector features a patented moisture-wicking and cooling fabric, which allows air to pass through it but not moisture or liquids.

DOES THE PROTECTOR MAKE NOISE?

Nope. Made with a super-soft knit fabric, the GhostProtector doesn’t have the typical plastic liner or coating you’ll find in other mattress protectors. No crackling or crunching here.

IS THE GHOSTPROTECTOR WATERPROOF?

Yes, the GhostProtector is 100% waterproof. Our moisture-wicking and cooling fabric stops all moisture penetration, but you would never know it by its soft and lightweight feel.

CAN I WASH THE GHOSTPROTECTOR?

Yes. We recommend washing in cold water and using the air-dryer setting in the dryer (no heat).

Likewise, if you aren’t ready to invest in a new mattress , a topper can also extend the life of your current one. A quality mattress topper can make up for any sagging or wear that your current mattress is showing, so you can get the great sleep you need.

Finally, a mattress topper is a great option to have on-hand in your guest room! Everyone has different comfort preferences, and a mattress topper can instantly make a mattress much softer for your guests.

WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR IN A MATTRESS TOPPER?

Selecting a mattress topper can be just as confusing as buying a mattress! Common types to choose from include down, down alternative, latex, wool and memory foam. We typically recommend memory foam for those looking for a comfortable and luxurious feel. Instead of just adding a touch of softness, memory foam goes above and beyond by relieving pressure points as it reacts and contours to your body. It also helps reduce motion transfer, which is a common complaint with older innerspring mattresses.

Beyond that, we also recommend looking for:

• cooling features, as most people sleep a bit warm
• thicker foam (at least 3”) for maximum comfort
• features that help secure the topper to the mattress, so it doesn’t slip and slide

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A MATTRESS PROTECTOR AND A MATTRESS TOPPER?

Mattress protectors, mattress toppers and mattress pads, oh my! Confused yet? You’re not alone.

Here’s the breakdown:

• Mattress protectors: Typically thick and made of plastic, designed to protect your mattress from fluids, bed bugs and allergens.
• Mattress pads: Typically thin and designed to add a layer of soft comfort to an otherwise-firm mattress.
• Mattress toppers: Sometimes used interchangeably with mattress pads, but toppers tend to be a bit of an upgrade. You’ll also see a variety of materials used, including down, latex and memory foam.

The GhostBed Memory Foam Topper is a great combo option, providing the comfort of a mattress topper with the waterproof barrier of a mattress protector. Plus, the cover is whisper-quiet and as soft as your favorite t-shirt (no plastic here!).

WHAT SIZE MATTRESS TOPPER DO I NEED?

You’ll place your mattress topper directly on top of your mattress, so it should be the same exact size: a queen-size topper goes on a queen-size mattress , and so on.

IF I HAVE A SPLIT KING MATTRESS, SHOULD I GET ONE KING-SIZE TOPPER, OR TWO TWIN-XL TOPPERS?

The answer to this will come down to your preferences! If you enjoy the personalized comfort that a split king mattress provides (especially when paired with an adjustable base ), you’ll probably want two twin-XL toppers. But if you usually sync your two mattresses to act like a typical king-size bed, purchasing a king-size topper can bridge the inner gap, if that’s what you prefer.

HOW DO I CLEAN THE GHOSTBED MATTRESS TOPPER?

The GhostBed Memory Foam Topper comes with a removable, machine-washable cover for added convenience. We recommend washing the cover on a gentle cycle with cool or warm water, followed by a low-heat and low-tumble drying cycle. The topper itself can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild detergent if needed, but should not be submerged in water.

Note: If you notice slight discoloration or fading, this is normal! Even our CertiPUR-US®️ memory foam is susceptible to oxidation, which is a natural discoloration that happens when foam is exposed to air. This is not harmful or toxic, nor will it affect the performance and comfort of your topper. The included waterproof cover will help the topper itself stay clean and dry.

IS THE GHOSTBED MATTRESS TOPPER RETURNABLE?

Because the mattress topper is considered a personal use item, it cannot be returned. We do not offer a sleep trial on the topper.

DOES THE GHOSTBED MATTRESS TOPPER SMELL?

GhostBed products are made with safe & high-quality CertiPUR-US®️ certified memory foam, which can sometimes release a slight smell after its journey to you. WHY DOESN’T THE WEIGHTED BLANKET COME IN OTHER SIZES?

You may have heard the recommendation to choose a weighted blanket that’s about 10% of your body weight. While safety is certainly a consideration—your blanket should not be too heavy for you to move, for example—keep in mind that this is simply a recommendation! The 15 lb weight is the perfect “sweet spot” for most adults. Plus, it pairs well with the generous queen size, allowing the glass bead fill to stay evenly distributed at all times.

Note: At the 15 lb weight, we do not recommend this blanket for kids or adults under 80 lbs. Please keep away from children and pets.

CAN THE BLANKET BE WASHED?

The GhostBed Weighted Blanket should be spot cleaned only. Use warm water and a gentle detergent, and then lay flat to dry. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean.

Why can’t I return other items in my order?

If your GhostBed mattress doesn’t work out, no hard feelings! We know that finding the perfect mattress can be subjective. How is my refund calculated?

What's included with white glove service?

For an added fee, our professional setup crew can provide that “white glove” touch! After you've received your order, you'll have a separate appointment with our White Glove technicians, who will:

• Unbox and set up your GhostBed mattress, Adjustable Base and/or All-in-One Foundation
• Remove your current mattress and box spring (if needed)
• Remove all packaging material from your delivery (boxes, etc.)

Note: When you're coordinating your appointment time, please let the White Glove team know if you need haul-away services for your current mattress and/or box spring.

Can I select the day and time of my delivery?

With our White Glove service, your items will be delivered lightning-fast to your doorstep via FedEx. You'll receive tracking information so you know when to expect it.

Then, you'll work with our White Glove team to select your day and time for your setup appointment. Most of the time, we can get you scheduled for the same day or the day after your items are delivered! For some extended service areas, it may take a bit longer.

How do I order white glove setup?

If it's available in your area, you'll see “White Glove Setup” as an option at checkout. If you've already placed your order and would like to add White Glove, please give us a call at (954) 371-2004 .

What is the fee for white glove setup?

The fee for White Glove setup and mattress removal is $279. Upgrading several rooms at the same time? Even better! It's a flat rate, no matter how many items are in your order.

Note: Once you've placed your order, White Glove service is considered final sale. It cannot be canceled after checkout and the White Glove fee will not be refunded in the event of a return under the 101-Night Sleep Trial or any order cancellation.

Can I track my order?

Yes! Your order will arrive via FedEx, prior to your White Glove appointment. You'll receive your order number and tracking information via email.

Once you've received your package(s), all you'll need to do is bring them inside your home. At your appointment time, the setup technician will take it from there!

Can I cancel the white glove service once I have purchased it?

No, White Glove service is considered final sale once your order is placed. We cannot cancel the service after checkout and we do not offer refunds in the event of a return.

What's the first step to starting my return?

If you’ve tried out your GhostBed mattress for at least 30 days and decided the comfort or feel isn’t quite right, you can start the return process by getting in touch here .

Can I return my GhostBed before I've had it 30 days?

We ask that you give your GhostBed a solid 30-day try before initiating a return. Many people find it takes at least two weeks to get used to a new mattress, especially when switching from a traditional innerspring to a foam mattress. Plus, your mattress may need a little time to "break in" and feel right to you. After GhostBed has been in your home for at least 30 days, you can start the quick and easy return process.

What products are covered by the 101-Night Sleep Trial?

The 101-Night Sleep Trial covers our GhostBed mattresses as well as our GhostPillows. All other items are final sale and can not be returned.

What if I want to exchange or upgrade my GhostBed for a new one?

Do I need to keep the box and packaging if I think I might return my GhostBed?

Nope. Once your mattress is out of the box, it can't fit back in (trust us, we've tried). So you don't need to hang on to your packaging materials.

You’ll receive a FedEx tracking number via email once your order has shipped.

How are mattresses delivered?

All mattresses are shipped compressed and vacuum-packed, and are delivered by FedEx. This means that your mattress will arrive in a much smaller box than you’re probably expecting. Don’t be alarmed! Our cutting-edge technology allows us to safely compress the bed for shipping.

As soon as you unpack your mattress, it will expand to its normal size. Please make sure you open it in the room where you’ll use it. And watch it open—you’ll like what you see!

Will the delivery driver move or remove my old mattress?

No, standard delivery is only to your front door. The carrier is only responsible for bringing your purchase that far. You’ll need to personally bring it inside and set it up. They may even leave your items at your door if you are not home, so plan to be home for your delivery if possible.

If you’d like the extra help, you can opt for our White Glove Setup . For an extra fee, we’ll handle the heavy lifting—including setting up your mattress or base, and removing your old mattress!

The mattress(s) must be in sanitary condition, free of stains, etc., and will be picked up within 30 days. The items for removal are limited to mattresses, box springs and adjustable bases and the number of each may not exceed the quantity that were delivered. All items for removal must be removed in the same request. You have up to 30 days from GhostBed’s delivery date of your mattress to request a mattress removal. DO GHOSTBED MATTRESSES HAVE A BREAK-IN PERIOD?

Once you open your GhostBed mattress from the sealed vacuum-compressed packaging, it may take a few hours to a full day for it to fully expand, breathe and adjust to your room’s temperature. You can sleep on it almost immediately. Remember, a new mattress is a big change for your body, so it may take a night or two to get used to it.

In the colder winter months, your GhostBed may take up to 5 days to fully decompress. If it sat on a cold truck or in a cold warehouse, the temperature-sensitive materials will need plenty of time to take their natural form.

DO GHOSTBED MATTRESSES NEED TO BE FLIPPED?

Your GhostBed mattress never needs to be flipped, since the memory foam and latex comfort layers are on the top side. To increase the longevity of the mattress, we recommend rotating the mattress 180 degrees or head-to-toe every 3 months.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY MEMORY FOAM MATTRESS?

Cleaning your memory foam mattress is easy! You can vacuum the mattress to get rid of surface dirt, dust, lint and more. You can also spot clean the mattress (as well as the cover) to address stains. After cleaning, we recommend placing your mattress outside in the sunshine to let nature help out!

HOW CAN I CLEAN MY GHOSTBED MATTRESS COVER?

The outer cover on all GhostBed mattresses may be removed and spot cleaned with cold water and a mild detergent. Allow it to dry before placing it back on your mattress. Do not tumble dry and do not bleach.

CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT COVER?

Worst company ever

Worst company ever, the massage is nothing more then an annoying loud rumbling. The mattress luxe is god awful no support you sink in it. Wake up in pain every day! They wouldn’t take it back in the trial period, they said that they couldn’t take it back because I had buyers remorse! I didn’t have buyers remorse I had stupidity remorse for trusting this company and it’s fake reviews! There should be a class action against this company, I also bought the universal bed brackets for the headboard they didn’t fit or work at all.

DO NOT BUY. This was by far the worst Mattress I have ever slept on. I hated it, my wife hated it, Mom and Niece who dog sit for us hated it. What ghost bed does not tell you is that the 101 guarantee is only for the Mattress, you have to keep and pay for the Foundation and anything else you bought from them. When I tried to return, they insisted that I must try their foam topper worth $500 that they will send for free. This made the bed even worse, it was a total insult to us. When they finally agreed to give me my money back, they recommend a Donation service. This service was easiest for me since they came to my house to get it. When talking to the driver, he informed me that they pick up 10-15 mattresses a week in a 200 mile radius and that Ghost bed is a huge scam. I reviewed on the Ghost Bed Website, but magically it did not appear there. in fact, there is not a single bad review on that site, so I guess they are filtering.

This has been a true nightmare dealing…

This has been a true nightmare dealing with this company. Never took the topper out of box but open the tape on box and they are using this as a reason to not accept the return. On top of that, they will not supply you with an address to send the return to. It can not be found anywhere online. If I was you I would be very careful dealing with this company. There has been a consumer investigation on CBS. And trust me, I have had the same experience as the other person

The Most Un-Customer-Centric Company Ever

A few days after assembling my new Ghostbed, I received an email from Sam's Club advertising Ghostbed merchandise for HALF of Ghostbed's alleged 50%-off sale. When I spoke to a CSR at GB about this discrepancy, she reflexively responded, "We don't price match." When I pointed to the company's 101-night money-back guarantee, I was told that since I had already complained about the price, the guarantee was void. When I spoke with a supervisor, he was even more adamant. I don't even know how a company like this could remain in business.

Issue resolved

Their pricing is all over the place. They offer 50% off but the next day they raise the regular price. You can talk to 3 different reps and get three different prices. I wanted to substitute Venus mattresses instead of the Luxe. There is 200 difference between the 2. But for some reason they wanted 1500 extra for the package. get it together guys. Well I'm please to report that after talking to the right person at Ghostbed my issues were resolved. Talked to an excellent rep Johnathon who took care of the pricing issues. I then ordered our new bed from him.

This is the worst mattress topper I…

This is the worst mattress topper I have ever bought. It smells horrible and the foam looks and feels extremely cheap. It feels like the car wash foam from the dollar store. I tried to return it and the customer service was horrible. They told me that the topper was not returnable because it was a personal item which is ridiculous because a mattress is also a personal item but they give a "30 day trail" for it. Im sure theyll find a shady way to deny it though. When i bought the topper, nothing on the return policy stated it was non-returnable. When i called, they were rude and told me it was non-returnable. I told them noone ever told me when I bought it. They told me i should of done my research before buying it. They said it stated on the frequently asked questions that it was non-returnable. I said, well i didnt see it. How do you suppose to try it before buying the topper? They can just send you garbage and force you to keep it because you cant return it. Be aware before you buy. The topper is garbage and the customer service is trash. I recommend not to buy from this company. The ones from walmart are even better

Don't buy anything from this company

Don't buy anything from this company. You won't find this even in the fine print, but if you want to return anything like the topper, pillows, and so on--unused and unopened--they charge a freight charge and a 15% restocking fee. It's $75.00 to return a 200 topper, plus 15% restocking, or you can pay for your shipping, which is about 90.00+ depending on where you live to ship to Florida. You won't find this anywhere on the website during your purchase. According to the customer service, it is in the terms and conditions. When you call a company, and the customer service rep starts her sentence with, "First off...," you should know you are in trouble and dealing with a different business.

I am very disappointed in this Company

I am very disappointed in this company. I spoke to an Agent over 6 times pertaining to my order and stated what i was looking for. The Manager claims I never stated a particular mattress when I know I told the salesperson what I wanted and needed. Now they are stating I can not return the mattress which just came 2 days ago. I am very upset that I didn't see all of these complaints about this company and their unprofessional Customer Service. I will NEVER refer them to anyone.... 2 of my coworkers and 1 of my family members asked about this company. It is DEFINITELY A NO to purchase anything from this company whether it cost $1.00 or more. Terrible....

Avoid this company!!!

Bought a mattress topper that was defective. Tried to return it because it’s unusable and they wouldn’t give me a refund. Complete scam. Avoid them at all costs, not a real business. Look them up with the better business bureau they’re complete garbage.

Be careful when you order from Ghost…

Be careful when you order from Ghost Bed. They say hassle free returns but they charge you a 15% restocking fee plus cost of shipping. I ordered King size sheets but pillow cases are so small my pillow sticks out of the end. Customer service was rude. I do NOT recommend.

Worst company ever. Fake review websites,impossible to return for refund, they deduct any discounts for other items you bought. Refund not allowed if you inquire about costco. Feel ripped off for a very hard mattress. Would sue if I had the ability to go up against a lawyered up unscrupulous company.

SCAM! It took almost two months to get the piece of crap. The poorly made mattress has a horrible chemical smell that doesn’t go away. When we tried to return per their “Satisfaction Guaranteed” policy and were told they don’t refund purchases because it’s a “personal item”. Unbelievable! Please don’t be a victim!

I ordered a mattress topper nearly two months ago. Their “made in America” product has been delayed because according to them “the demand is so high”. Every time I’ve contacted them they respond and say the tracking number will be provided “later today”. It appears to be a pyramid scheme where they use new customer money to try and supply previous orders. Avoid!!

Do Not Buy From GhostBed

We purchased a new adjustable bed but the legs were too tall. My husband found GhostBed and they advertised 6 inch universal legs for adjustable beds. He ordered a set of six for $65.00. They arrived a few days later but the leg screws were much smaller than the ones on our bed. When he contacted the company, he was told that legs were not refundable if the box had been opened and the legs used. The legs were not used, but how could he check the size if he could not open the box. The company also said if THEY decided the box had not been opened they would deduct the returned postage and a restocking fee. We have chalked this up as a loss! I normally read the reviews on companies with names like "GhostBed" but my husband made this purchase while I was at work. I think he has learned his lesson. Always check these kinds of companies out before you order anything!

Scam artists

Scam artists. Their mattress quality is awful. When you inevitably try to return the mattress, they will try to deny the return with some legalese in their fine print. Pathetic company. The owner should be in jail.

This is a terrible pillow

This is a terrible pillow. We have been pillow searching for some time and this is one of the most uncomfortable pillows we have tried. It is very hard and does not give at all so your neck is at a very uncomfortable angle. After using the pillow for a month, I began experiencing terrible neck stiffness and pain. I switched pillows and it subsided. Unfortunately, when the pillows were shipped we were traveling so we missed out on the 100 day trial period and are unable to return the pillows. I hope the dogs at our local shelter find them more comfortable!

I ordered the split king.

I ordered the split king.. i had a problem with the one matress so they sent out another. The only real complaint i have is the matresses do not stay together difficult to sleep of your used to a king and theres a gao in the middle. I called them to complain and they said put anti slip stuff under the matress does not work they still come apart.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT & COMPANY. I wished that I had done more research as I got totally sucked in with the glowing reviews about the ghostbed faux down pillow being a great choice for side sleepers. It isn’t. I cannot imagine this pillow would be a supportive pillow for any head & neck in any sleeping position. It is the most inferior product with absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered. The product came late, delivered to the wrong address and the pillow was so devoid of any filling, it was almost laughable. Returns are done at your own expense and despite saying that it was made in Canada, the pillow arrived & was returnable to Florida. Customer service is equally lacking in care and good luck getting any resolution. Take your business elsewhere.

Our mattresses are also CertiPur approved where most of our competitors are not. (Did we mention ours does it for less than half the price?)

Good question. Different people have different likes, needs and body types. We suggest that you carefully read all of our mattress descriptions and choose the mattress that best fits your unique needs. They vary in different sizes and thicknesses.

Nope. Our mattresses do not retain heat and shouldn't "sleep hot" as our memory foam is specifically designed to sleep cooler than most other foams on the market. It is made of Advanced Visco Technology. We have enlarged the actual memory foam cells to allow for the air to pass thru with ease. There are billions of these cells that make up a memory foam mattress. The result is that Nature’s Sleep memory foam mattresses sleep cool and natural.

When you acquire a new GhostBed's memory foam mattress, you do not want it to develop deep body indentations as this will create an uneven mattress which will lead to uncomfortable sleeping. GhostBed mattresses are not reversible or flippable. Laying the mattress on a flat surface or good condition foundation will maintain the mattress lifespan.

If you have a Memory Foam Topper, it should be flipped every 2 weeks.

GhostBed Unveils New Customer Service Center

GhostBed has opened a new customer service center at its headquarters in Plantation, Florida. The 7,500-square-foot center is dedicated to responding quicker and more efficiently to customers, including those who purchased products directly from GhostBed or through its retail partner base.

The new center is open 18 hours a day, seven days a week. It’s team of 60 mattress professionals can help educate consumers on the best mattress for them, problem solve, or direct shoppers to the nearest retail store to test a mattress before purchasing.

“Customer service is a key strategic asset that our brand has always been known for,” said Alan Hirschhorn, executive vice president of GhostBed. “In addition to making great mattresses, we want to make sure we can continue to provide the world-class customer service necessary to compete and win in the current marketplace. By having this new and modern, state-of-the-art facility, we fulfill that promise we make to all our customers.”

The company needed the new center to allow for additional space for its growing marketing, finance and operations departments at its existing corporate offices, according to the news release.

GhostBed mattress construction and materials

The original GhostBed models are eleven inches thick, while the GhostBed Luxe and GhostBed Flex are thirteen inches. The GhostBed has 1.5 inches of aerated latex foam, two inches of gel memory foam, seven and a half inches of high-density foam, and a cover made of viscose and polyester. The GhostBed Luxe has a “Ghost Hug” topper to keep sleepers cool, an inch of gel memory foam, two layers of phase-change material, gel memory foam, a bounce layer and a thick base of high-density memory foam. The GhostBed Flex is a hybrid mattress with a cooling cover, several layers of memory foam and a layer of reinforced support coils.

GhostBed mattress comfort

GhostBed prides itself on providing one of the coolest sleeps around. Cooling materials used in all three mattresses help even hot sleepers feel cool during the night. The GhostBed and GhostBed Flex are a Medium Firm, or 6, on the traditional mattress firmness scale. The GhostBed Luxe is a 5 or Medium. The original GhostBed is notable for its conforming memory foam with some added responsiveness from latex. The Luxe has the highest conforming ability and is great for those with aches and pains. The Flex is the most cooling option.

• Firmness: The original GhostBed and GhostBed Flex are classified as Medium Firm. The GhostBed Luxe is Medium on the firmness scale.
• Sleeping position: The GhostBed Luxe is the most accommodating model. It sleeps most weights in any position. The GhostBed and GhostBed Flex sleep most weights and positions well, but lighter weights sleeping on their stomachs might not sleep as comfortably.
• Motion transfer: All three models from GhostBed do a great job absorbing motion on the mattress.
• Edge support: The GhostBed and GhostBed Luxe have good edge support, although you can still expect some sinkage when sitting on the edge of the bed. The GhostBed Flex, like other hybrid models, has very good edge support.
• Sleeping hot: The GhostBed Flex is the best choice for hot sleepers, but the GhostBed and GhostBed Luxe also allow for cool sleep.

GhostBed mattress prices

The GhostBed has a low cost when compared to mattresses with similar construction and materials. The GhostBed Luxe, as the name implies, is a bit pricier but offers some premium components that are worth the higher price tag. The GhostBed Flex is fairly priced when compared to other hybrid mattresses.

Are GhostBed mattresses good?

All three GhostBed mattress models are good. Each offers a cooling night sleep with a high level of comfort at a fair price. The GhostBed Luxe is a good choice for those with aches and pains. Love the quality of the mattress, bed frame, and sheets. The bed frame itself was vey easy to put together which I really liked since I live alone. Because the mattress so wonderful, my back pain has gone away. I am a back and side sleeper and love it for both positions. :)

Bought the topper. Completely defective. Doesn’t work as advertised. Unusable. Tried to get my money back and the company won’t do it. Look them up with the Better business bureau. DO NOT BUY. There are plenty of online bed companies that are legit. This is not one of them.

I purchased a Ghostbed mattress cover for my King Size bed. The Ghostbed website said the cover provided cooling. Upon receipt of the box I opened it and removed the mattress cover to look at it. I immediately realized that it was essentially the same as the cover that I am replacing. I placed the cover back in the box and chatted with a service representative regarding a return. The representative informed me that it the box was opened that the mattress cover was not returnable! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY!

I purchased this mattress less than a year ago and it has been the worst sleep I have ever gotten to the point where I think there has been permanent damage done to my lower back. The mattress is already dipping in the spots where we sleep and the edges are bulging so badly it doesn't sit flush with the wall. I emailed the company with my concerns and was told that since I was past the 101 night trial that there was nothing they could do. I was also asked if I wanted to buy a mattress topper from them or told to try flipping the mattress even though it's not something they advise. Pretty much told me I was SOL and to deal with the pain and poorly built mattress even though I spent $1,857 on it, which is more than many of its competitors. Do yourself a favor and buy literally anything else!

I bought this mattress in 2019. In the last year, the top of the mattress is form balls of fluff which wind titling in rice size kernels and are just has hard. It is not possible to sleep on these hard hard kernels. I have sent photos three times to [email protected] without success. I plan to elevate this to the Office of Consumer Affairs and or Attorney General's Office.

Terrible mattress -terrible customer service. After inquiring about the mattress via chat, they called me constantly until I purchased a mattress at over $2000. Very aggressive sales pitch. The mattress was poorly made and very soft. They would not honor their refund policy apparently because I mentioned that other sites have the mattress for MUCH lower prices. I followed the rules and filled out a return form like I was instructed to do. They kept telling me that the returns department will determine the "next steps" and the amount of my refund. Well, I never received my money- I had to have my CC company withhold the payment to them.

I bought a GhostBed Luxe package with the 101-day "money back" guarantee.

A. The bed is terrible and amounts to a torture device. DO NOT listen to Consumer Reports.

B. The customer service is absolutely terrible. They will at first refuse to return the bed, try to get you to change your mind, ask you to fill out multiple requests despite saying the return is valid solely by e-mail or phone request. Then they will refuse to honor their warranty for the full price of the bed.

Be aware that this company misleads the public about their products. My salesperson (Jael) shipped me a $300 bed frame instead of the adjustable $900 frame. The company then informs me that there is no returns unless you pay a restocking fee. I was never told this was a FINAL sale until after I received the order. No customer service. Fraudulent company.

• Responsiveness: If you toss and turn at night, you need a bed that can keep up. Luckily, GhostBed scored well in responsiveness, making it a good choice for combination sleepers.
• Cooling: The original GhostBed is the reason this mattress brand has a reputation for keeping people cool at night . The gel foam and latex combination allows you to stay cool throughout your sleep.
• Durability: The premium, high-quality layers in GhostBed allow it to last for years. So much, that your new bed even comes with a 20-year warranty.
• Motion Isolation: GhostBed wasn’t the best in motion isolation in our tests, meaning it may not be the mattress for couples.
• Pressure Relief: In our lab test, GhostBed did not offer the best pressure point relief and spinal alignment combination, meaning this may not be the best pick for side sleepers.

Responsiveness

We test responsiveness by lying on GhostBed and changing positions to see how quickly we can get comfortable. This mattress factor is most important to those of you to tend to toss and turn throughout the night. If this sounds like you, you’re in luck. We found that the GhostBed mattress did a darn good job of responding to our movements and keeping us comfortable.

Pressure Relief

We measure pressure relief using a handy dandy pressure map so there’s no going wrong. While lying on our backs, pressure was very minimal in the lower back area. But where it all went wrong was when we lay on our sides. As you can see in the video above and this photo, there are areas of red in the hips and the shoulders meaning there is the most pressure in these sensitive areas: a red flag for all of you side sleepers.

Edge Support

Though the pressure relief test could’ve gone better, the edge support test shined. We felt a solid support system as we sat on the edge of the bed to tie our shoes as well as lying there in multiple sleeping positions: great news for couples who sleep on complete opposite sides of the bed.

GhostBed is about a 6.5/10 on the firmness scale, making its firmness level a medium-firm to firm. This works for most types of sleepers.

What Sleeping Position Does It Work For?

Ghostbed’s firmness level make it a good mattress for back sleepers and good stomach sleeper mattress , while combination sleepers will rest well due to its responsiveness. The GhostBed comes compressed in a box and is 89 lbs. for a queen, so we recommend setting up with a partner. It took us around 2 minutes to finish unboxing and set up. There was an off-gassing odor, but it went away by the end of the day. Because of this, we recommend waiting until the smell is gone to put on sheets.

The GhostBed mattress ships free to the 48 continental states. It should arrive at your home in about 3-5 business days through FedEx. White glove delivery and setup is available for a fee of $199. This includes delivery, unpacking, assembly, setup, and removal of your old mattress.

Sleep Trial

On the day you receive your GhostBed mattress, your 101-night trial period begins. This gives you about 3 months to decide if you want to keep or return the mattress. If you choose the latter, just contact GhostBed customer support to start the return process – they will send out a representative to pick up your mattress.

GhostBed Warranty

The GhostBed Original comes with a 20-year warranty that covers:

• Body impressions deeper than 1″ that aren’t caused by a sagging foundation.
• Cracks or splits in the foam layers, not resulting from improper storage or handling.
• For year 1 of your warranty, GhostBed will repair manufacturing defects in the mattress cover, such as split seams.

GhostBed Return Policy

To initiate the return of your GhostBed mattress, you must wait at least 30 days. Then, between days 30 and 101 (the end of your sleep trial), follow these steps:

1.) Contact GhostBed. You can call them at 1-855-855-4499, email them at [email protected], or live chat them on their website. Be sure to have your order number ready.

2.) GhostBed may ask you to fill out a form or send photos (if there’s a defect).

3.) GhostBed will work with you and a local charity to schedule a time and date for the mattress to be picked up. Clear off your bedding and move the mattress to your door to prepare for pickup.

4.) Once the mattress has been donated, GhostBed will refund your purchase within 3 business days.

While temperature depends a lot on the type of sleeper you are and the sheets/comforter you use on top of your mattress, the technology used to make the GhostBed is designed to keep you cool while you sleep

Does the GhostBed mattress have a break-in period?

Like any bed-in-a-box mattress, it can take up to 30 days to adjust to a new mattress feel and fully break it in . The GhostBed in particular will take some time (a few hours to a full day) to expand to its full size, air out, and adjust to the temperature of your bedroom.
