Elden Ring: How to Buy Ghost Glovewort 4, 5, 6

Players that want to buy Ghost Gloveworts 4, 5, and 6 in Elden Ring can learn the location of the Ghost-Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [2] here.

Players that want to unlock the full potential of their renowned Spirit Ashes in Elden Ring will need to use Ghost Gloveworts to upgrade them. For those fans that are interested in strengthening their renowned ashes to +4, +5, and +6, Ghost Gloveworts 4, 5, and 6 are required, and these materials can be found scattered across the map. It is also possible to buy Ghost Gloveworts 4, 5, and 6 in Elden Ring , and this guide details how that is done.

Elden Ring: How to Get Unlimited Ghost Gloveworts 4, 5, 6

Before players can purchase Ghost Gloveworts 4, 5, and 6, they must obtain the Ghost-Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [2]. This key item is found inside a chest in Nokstella, Eternal City, which is part of the Ainsel River area. The following video demonstrates exactly how to reach the chest that contains the Bell Bearing when starting from the Ainsel River Main Site of Grace. Additionally, a description of how to get to that Site of Grace is found below the video, though fans should know that it contains numerous spoilers related to Ranni's quest line in Elden Ring .

  • Visit Renna's Rise just northeast of Ranni's Rise, climb the ladder, and use the teleport at the top to reach Ainsel River Main.

Elden Ring: Where to Use Ghost-Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [2]

After reaching Ainsel River Main, navigating to Nokstella, Eternal City, and collecting the Ghost-Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [2], players should take it to the Twin Maiden Husks in Elden Ring 's Roundtable Hold . As soon as that offering has been made, fans should find Ghost Gloveworts 4, 5, and 6 in the vendors' inventory, and they can buy an unlimited amount of these materials provided that they have Runes to spare.

Elden Ring is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Screen Rant

Elden ring: every grave glovewort & ghost glovewort location.

Elden Ring players can improve their Spirit Ashes at Roundtable Hold, but they'll need Grave Glovewort and Ghost Glovewort to upgrade them.

Glovewort is a pale, glowing flower in Elden Ring that allows Tarnished players to upgrade their Spirit Ashes. Spirit Ashes let players summon companion spirits that can help take down challenging enemies and bosses that are too difficult to face alone. However, to summon Spirit Ashes, players will have to obtain the Spirit Calling Bell from Renna the Witch the first time she greets them at the Church of Elleh.

To unlock the ability to upgrade Spirit Ashes, Elden Ring players must first find an NPC named Roderkica and complete her side quest. Roderika can be found in the Stormhill Shack in West Limgrave, and she'll ask the player to retrieve the Chrysalid's Memento from inside Stormveil Castle. Once players give her the Chrysalid's Memento, she'll move to Roundtable Hold, where players will have to convince Smithing Master Hewg to mentor her. After that, they can visit her any time to upgrade Spirit Ashes like Mimic Tear in Elden Ring as long as they have enough Glovewort and Runes.

There are two different types of Glovewort in Elden Ring : Grave Glovewort and Ghost Glovewort. Grave Glovewort is used to upgrade regular Spirit Ashes, and Ghost Glovewort is used to upgrade the more powerful Renowned Spirit Ashes. Upgrading Spirit Ashes will improve the Spirits' stats like health, attack, and defense, and it can even increase the number of spirits summoned in some cases. However, like Elden Ring's Smithing Stones, there are different levels of Glovewort that are required to upgrade Spirit Ashes to higher tiers.

Elden Ring - All Grave Glovewort Locations

Elden Ring players can find Grave Glovewort growing in the catacombs throughout the Lands Between. There are nine different levels of Grave Glovewort, and while they all look relatively similar, higher-level Glovewort will have more blooming flowers than lower-level Glovewort. Additionally, players will need to find a Great Grave Glovewort to fully upgrade their Spirit Ashes to +10. However, if players find a Grave-Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing, they can give it to the Twin Maiden Husks in Roundtable Hold to unlock the option to purchase Grave Glovewort for 800 Runes. Like the plant itself, there are several different tiers of Glovewort Bell Bearings that unlock higher tiers of Glovewort in the shop.

Elden Ring - All Ghost Glovewort Locations

Elden Ring's Renowned Spirit Ashes allow Tarnished players to summon some of the strongest Spirits in the game, but they require Ghost Glovewort to upgrade. Like Grave Glovewort, there are nine different levels of Ghost Glovewort as well as the Great Ghost Glovewort that can be used to fully upgrade Renowned Spirit Ashes to +10. Players can also give the Twin Maiden Husks in Roundtable Hold a Ghost-Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing to unlock Ghost Glovewort in their shop, but these Bell Bearings have different levels, just like the Grave-Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing.

Elden Ring Spirit Ashes

Elden Ring players, or the Tarnished, are always looking to upgrade their gear no matter what it is. From their armaments to their weapons, upgrades are always essential when going up against some of the toughest bosses in Elden Ring. As for Ghost Glovewort , the upgrade is primarily used to upgrade renowned Spirit Ashes. With nine tiers of Ghost Glovewort in Elden Ring, each tier is used to upgrade higher leveled renowned Spirit Ashes, which are stronger than regular Spirit Ashes. Here is how to buy Ghost Glovewort 4, 5, and 6 in Elden Ring.

How to Buy Ghost Glovewort 4, 5, and 6 in Elden Ring

To purchase Ghost Glovewort 4, 5, and 6 in Elden Ring, you will first need to find the Ghost Glovework Picker’s Bell Bearing [2] . After finding the Ghost Glovewort Bell Bearing [1] for Ghost Glovewort 1, 2, and 3 in Nokstella Eternal City. From the Ainser River Main checkpoint Site of Grace, head south as you go through Ranni’s side questline .

As you go through the river to reach the Uhl Palace Ruins, go through the big gate with two giant statues on either side. Once you have gone through the gateway, keep following the river until you arrive in Nokstella Eternal City . Once there, touch the grace and climb up the stairs straight ahead.

Once you have reached the top of the stairs after defeating or running past the enemies, turn left and back towards the room on the left side. After you have made it inside the room, open the chest to receive Ghost Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing [2], which will be used to purchase the Ghost Glovewort 4, 5, and 6.

Elden Ring: All Grave and Ghost Glovewort Bell Bearing Locations

There are six Grave and Ghost Glovewort Bell Bearings across The Lands Between. Here’s where they all are.

Finding the Ghost Glovewort and Grave Glovewort locations in Elden Ring is one of the most difficult and time consuming parts of your journey. Yet, to have your Ash companions as powerful as they can be, you need as much both as you can carry - or afford. Across The Land Betweens, you'll run into these materials naturally, but Bell Bearings make these materials easily available in one place, not to mention unlimited if you're got the runes to spend.

Glovewort and Ghost Glovewort Bell Bearings can be taken to the Twin Maiden Husks in Roundtable Hold to then have them sell additional items, and having an infinite amount of Glovewort makes upgrading new Spirit Ashes a breeze compared to grinding tunnel after tunnel.

Fortunately, our friend over at Arrekz Gaming put together a video detailing where you can find every Grave Glovewort and Ghost Glovewort Bell Bearing, and it’s come in clutch for upgrading all the Spirit Ashes I hadn’t yet had a chance to try out in battle.

Just as a refresher, Grave Glovewort is for upgrading normal Spirit Ashes, while Ghost Glovewort lets you enhance renowned, aka legendary Spirit Ashes .

Where to find Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing 1 in Elden Ring

Where to find glovewort picker's bell bearing 2 in elden ring, where to find glovewort picker's bell bearing 3 in elden ring, where to find ghost glovewort picker's bell bearing 1 in elden ring, where to find ghost glovewort picker's bell bearing 2 in elden ring, where to find ghost glovewort picker's bell bearing 3 in elden ring, other ghost glovewort locations and grave glovewort locations.

For the Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [1], you’ll need access to Altus Plateau. Head to the Wyndham Ruins here and make your way up the stairs, taking caution of the Tibia Mariner (if you haven’t already defeated them).

level 4 ghost glovewort

Up the stairs there is a door that will take you to Wyndham Catacombs. Traverse through the dungeon normally until you reach the boss, an Erdtree Burial Watchdog. Once felled, they’ll drop Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [1], which allows you to buy Grave Glovewort [1], [2], and [3].

Much like the last Bell Bearing, the Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [2] also needs you to traverse through another dungeon. This time, you’ll need to make your way to the Mountaintops of Giants. Start by heading to Zamor Ruins, and make your way to the chain path that would typically take you to Snow Valley Ruins.

level 4 ghost glovewort

Rather than go across this path, take a sharp right as you approach it, and you’ll head downwards, eventually reaching the Giants Mountaintops Catacombs.

level 4 ghost glovewort

Make your way through the dungeon and defeat the boss, an Ulcerated Tree Spirit. Once felled, they will drop the Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing, and you’ll be able to buy Grave Glovewort [4], [5], and [6].

The Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [3] is in Crumbling Farum Azula, so you won’t be able to grab this one until you’re approaching the endgame in Elden Ring. That is, unless, you use the first teleporter at the Four Belfries to get here much sooner. Be wary if you do this, as the enemies here are incredibly strong.

level 4 ghost glovewort

You’ll need to make your way to the Crumbling Beast Grave Site of Grace. There is a church north-west of here that you need to make your way to, and once inside, go through the south-west door.

There’s a lift to the lakeside here, and the Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [3] can be found on a gazebo just ahead. This Bell Bearing will allow you to buy Grave Glovewort [7], [8], and [9].

The Ghost Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [1] can be found in Nokron, Eternal City. You can get here using the Siofra River Well in east Limgrave, shown below. You’ll need to have defeated Starscourge Radahn first to be able to access the area.

level 4 ghost glovewort

When you find yourself at the entrance to Nokron, also shown below, head ever so slightly north to the gazebo.

level 4 ghost glovewort

There’ll be a corpse inside of here that you can loot the Ghost Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [1] from, allowing you to purchase Ghost Glovewort [1], [2], and [3].

For Ghost Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [2], you’ll need to head to an alternative underground city known as Nokstella. To gain access to the area, you’ll need to make a start on Ranni’s quest line , until you are granted access to the teleporter atop Renna’s Rise.

level 4 ghost glovewort

This teleporter will take you to Ainsel River Main, where you can continue with the quest a little further and head through Uhl Palace Ruins. This will take you through a small tunnel that’ll eventually lead you to Nokstella.

level 4 ghost glovewort

From the entrance to the city, head up the stairs that you see ahead of you and turn left at the top. There’s a doorway here, and inside of that room is a chest containing Ghost-Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [2]. This allows you to buy Ghost Glovewort [4], [5], and [6].

For the Ghost Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing [3], you’ll need access to one of the late-game areas, Haligtree. You’ll have to have got the secret medallion and used the Lift of Rold to then go through the Consecrated Snowfield to get here.

level 4 ghost glovewort

When you’re here, you’ll need to make your way to the Drainage Channel Site of Grace. From here, you will need to go outside (right), then along the tree to your left, and traverse down the various branches and columns until you reach a small room.

level 4 ghost glovewort

From inside the building, jump down and go out of the door to your right. Go left outside, and downwards until you reach a set of tombstones, accompanied by some skeletons, with an item.

level 4 ghost glovewort

The enemies here are pretty tough, but you can run past all of them easily enough. The item will be the Ghost Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing [3], and allows you to buy Ghost Glovewort [7], [8], and [9].

If you're not able to pick these Bell Bearings up right away or just need some extras without spending Runes, you can pick up quite a few in some key areas around the map.

  • Catacombs - You can find both Glovewort types in any catacomb. Ghost Glovewort is mostly in higher-level areas, such as Gelmir's Hero Grave or Nokron, Eternal City, but you can grab Grave Glovewort as early as Limgrave.
  • Underground - Nokron, Ainsel River, Nokstella, and Siofra River are all home to Ghost and Grave Glovewort. Check around the edge of river banks in Siofra and Ainsel Rivers. They grow in bunches like normal plants in Nokron and Nokstella.

Elden Ring: Where To Find All Great Ghost Glovewort

Here's where you can find all the Great Ghost Gloveworts in Elden Ring

Elden Ring brings with it a huge variety of weapons, magic, and armor to choose from. Using giant swords, or choosing a faster rapier, all the combat choices feel well thought out and add a massive amount of replayability to an already massive game. One of the features that makes this variety even more engaging is the Spirit Ash system that allows you to summon friendly NPC's to help you fight in certain areas around the Lands Between.

Related: Elden Ring: All Summons In The Starscourge Radahn Fight, Ranked

As helpful as these summons are, however, they will be next to useless in the late game if you do not invest in upgrading them. The two things you need for this are the NPC Roderika, who can be found at the Stormhill Shack Site of Grace, and the upgrade material, Glovewort. However, special summons require Ghost Glovewort, and to make things more difficult you need Great Ghost Glovewort to level your Spirit Ash to +10, of which there are only four in Elden Ring. Luckily for you, this is a list of all of the Great Ghost Glovewort in Elden Ring and how to get them.

4 Ainsel River, Dragonkin Soldier

This is one of the more straightforward Great Ghost Gloveworts to find in Elden Ring, and it will probably be the first one you can access unless you progress to Mohgwyn Palace early. All you have to do is complete the Ainsel River area, which is accessed by descending an elevator located in the East side of Liurnia of the Lakes .

Once you get down there, progress through the area until you make your way to the Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella. After defeating him, you will find a little room near the waterfall in the boss arena, and inside is a chest with the Great Ghost Glovewort. Fully upgrading a Spirit Ash at this point in the game will give you a huge advantage against some of the more difficult areas that are yet to come, so it is definitely worth picking your favorite Summon maxing them out.

3 Night's Sacred Ground

The majority of Great Ghost Glovewort are found deep underground, which reflects the lore related to Glovewort blooming in catacombs in the Lands Between. This Great Ghost Glovewort is found at the end of the Night's Sacred Ground area, under the big skeleton, which can only be accessed after defeating Starscourge Radahn and jumping down the massive hole that has opened up after his boss fight.

Related: The Most Stunning Areas Found In Elden Ring

This zone is somewhat hidden, as you have to jump down onto the buildings near the Ancestral Woods site of grace to get here, but the enemies are not particularly dangerous. It is definitely recommended to use Spirit Ash when available, since there are fights against groups of regular enemies that are open to Spirit Ash summons. This can make encounters with multiple enemies, that would otherwise feel unfair, more fun.

2 Nokstella, Eternal City

Another area that is only accessible through exploration of the underground part of Elden Ring's expansive map, Nokstella, Eternal City houses another of the Great Ghost Glovewort. Like most of them, you have to progress through basically the entire area to find it. Starting at the Nokstella, Eternal City site of grace, proceed up the stairs. Fight your way past the enemies, until you come across a bridge with one of the metal ball enemies.

Across the bridge there is a building in which there is a chest that contains the Great Ghost Glovewort. Be careful, as there are a multitude of enemies within that building. As long as you take your time in dispatching the opponents carefully, along with keeping an eye on the ceilings, since the silver tears hide up there, there is very little danger.

1 Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum

This is the only Great Ghost Glovewort in Elden Ring that can actually be picked directly from the plant, similar to how you pick up regular Glovewort. You can find it by progressing through the Mohgwyn Palace area near end of the zone, but a little before you fight the boss. The enemies are very strong in this area, but always remember that running past them is a viable option. Starting at the Dynasty Mausoleum Midpoint site of grace, walk back into the cave you came from. The Great Ghost Glovewort will be located on your left ready to be picked, but watch out for the many enemies around as they can grab you or explode and inflict blood loss on you.

As a bonus there is also a Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone in a nearby chest. Even though this is one of the final areas in Elden Ring, upgrading your spirit summons will be incredibly helpful for the upcoming boss fights. Though it is true that you can always summon another player to help you, doing so will give the boss more health, whereas if you only use Spirit Summons, the boss does not get more health.

Lands Between Map

Where to get grave glovewort and ghost glovewort.

This page includes instructions on where you can find Glovewort (both Ghost Glovewort and Grave Glovewort) to improve your Spirit Ash Summons. Along with improving your weapons via smithing stones, improving the health and damage ability of your spirit summons can be essential to progressing through Elden Ring and defeating tougher challenges.

What is Glovewort?

Early on as you explore the Lands Between, you may come across certain types of white flowers called Grave Glovewort or Ghost Glovewort . These materials are primarily found underground, and unlike regular crafting materials, they aren't used to make items. Instead, they are used to enhance the abilities of Spirit Ash Summons - if you know how.

EldenR MeetRanni.jpg

The ability to summon spirits only happens with the Spirit-Calling Bell , given by Ranni the Witch when you fast travel to the Church of Elleh after getting Torrent (or buying them from the Twin Maiden Husks in the Roundtable Hold). However, as you are, you won't be able to upgrade Spirit Ashes.

Once you've delved into Stormveil Castle , and met Roderika outside the castle at the Stormhill Shack, she'll go to the Roundtable Hold. Eventually, she'll being to wonder about her purpose after you defeat Godrick the Grafted , and by talking to both her and the Blacksmith Master Hewg, Hewg will teach her the art of Spirit Tuning.

EldenRing SpiritTuning.mp4.00 04 53 02.Still001.jpg

At this point, you can bolster the abilities of all the Spirit Ashes you find by giving her Ghost Glovewort - or Grave Glovewort depending on the Spirit Ash, similar to increasing weapons with either Smithing Stones, or Somber Smithing Stones.

At their base level, Spirit Ashes can only deal so much damage and take so much punishment, but by bolstering them they'll be more effective in later game areas.

Where to Find Ghost Glovewort and Grave Glovewort

Unlike Smithing Stones, Glovewort doesn't seem to drop naturally from certain enemies or located on bodies in random parts of the world. Instead, Ghost and Grave Glovewort are primarily found in underground areas - Mini Dungeons, for the most part.

EldenRing EternalCity2.mp4.00 05 07 25.Still001.jpg

They bloom as small white flowers that stand out among the dim catacombs, but can only be picked once. They can also appear in greater numbers in the underground Eternal Cities located in the Siofra River Well and Ainsel River Well.

In order to find as many as possible, you'll want to explore the Lands Between for all dungeon entrance - and see our Dungeon Guide to locate any you may have missed.

Since they do not respawn like other plant materials, you'll need to think carefully about which Spirit Ashes you want to utilize the most in your journey - though you'll tend to find a lot more of the lower level Gloveworts than you will higher tier ones.

There are also special items - a Great Ghost Glovewort - that will enhance a Spirit all the way to +10, and can be found in each of the Eternal Cities.

How to Buy Glovewort

Much like Smithing Stones, there is a way to purchase certain levels of Glovewort to help level up your spirits by a few points. They come from specific Bell Bearings that have been lost in the world, and when returned to the Twin Maiden Husks, she'll add unlimited purchases to her shop.

20220306165720 1.jpg

To get the Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing 1, head to the Altus Plateau by way of the Grand Lift of Dectus or the Ruin-strewn Precipice near it, and seek out the Wyndham Catacombs that are found at the edge of Mt Gelmir, behind the Wyndham Ruins on a western plateau against a cliff wall. Defeat the Erdtree Burial Watchdog boss within to get the Bell Bearing as a reward.

  • This Bearing will add the Grave Glovewort 1 (800 Runes), Grave Glovewort 2 (1,200 Runes), and Grave Glovewort 3 (1,600 Runes) to the Twin Maiden Husks shop in unlimited quantities.

20220305002349 1.jpg

To get the Ghost-Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing 1, head into the giant hole in the ground in East Limgrave following the defeat of Starscourge Radahn to enter Nokron the Eternal City. Right past the first Site of Grave is a large courtyard with a central gazebo that has a body that holds the bell bearing.

  • This Bearing will add the Ghost Glovewort 1 (1,200 Runes), Ghost Glovewort 2 (1,800 Runes), and Ghost Glovewort 3 (2,400 Runes) to the Twin Maiden Husks shop in unlimited quantities.
