Unlock the Power of Efficient Communication: Learn Touch Typing on a Keyboard
In today’s digital age, efficient communication is key to success in both personal and professional realms. One crucial aspect of effective communication is typing speed and accuracy. Whether you’re a student, professional, or simply someone who wants to improve their typing skills, learning touch typing on a keyboard can significantly enhance your productivity and overall communication abilities. In this article, we will explore the benefits of touch typing and provide practical tips on how to master this essential skill.
The Importance of Touch Typing
Typing is an integral part of our daily lives. From writing emails to composing reports, being able to quickly and accurately type can save us valuable time and energy. However, many people still rely on the “hunt-and-peck” method when using a keyboard. This outdated approach not only slows down our typing speed but also increases the likelihood of errors.
Touch typing, on the other hand, allows individuals to type without looking at the keyboard. By memorizing the position of each key and using all ten fingers simultaneously, touch typists can achieve remarkable speed and accuracy. This technique not only saves time but also reduces strain on your fingers and wrists.
Benefits of Learning Touch Typing
Increased Productivity: Learning touch typing can significantly boost your productivity by increasing your words-per-minute (WPM) rate. With practice, touch typists can easily reach speeds of over 60 WPM or more, allowing them to complete tasks in less time.
Improved Accuracy: Touch typists are less prone to making mistakes compared to those who use the hunt-and-peck method. By relying on muscle memory rather than visual cues, you’ll be able to type accurately without constantly backtracking or making corrections.
Enhanced Focus: When you don’t have to constantly look at the keyboard while typing, you can maintain better focus on the content you’re creating. This increased concentration leads to improved quality and efficiency in your work.
Reduced Physical Strain: The repetitive motion of typing can lead to discomfort and even long-term injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome. Touch typing distributes the workload evenly across all fingers, reducing strain on specific muscles and joints.
Tips for Mastering Touch Typing
Proper Finger Placement: Begin by familiarizing yourself with the correct finger placement on the keyboard. The home row consists of the keys ASDF for your left hand and JKL; for your right hand. Rest your fingers lightly on these keys, with each finger assigned to a specific row.
Start Slowly: Initially, focus on accuracy rather than speed. Practice typing simple exercises or online tutorials that gradually introduce new keys. As you become more comfortable, increase your speed gradually while maintaining accuracy.
Utilize Online Resources: There are numerous online resources available that offer touch typing lessons and interactive exercises. Websites like Typing.com, Keybr.com, and Ratatype.com provide structured lessons and track your progress over time.
Consistency is Key: Regular practice is vital when learning touch typing. Set aside dedicated time each day to practice typing exercises or transcribing texts. Over time, muscle memory will develop, allowing you to type effortlessly without looking at the keyboard.
Embrace the Power of Efficient Communication
Learning touch typing on a keyboard is an investment that yields long-lasting benefits in both personal and professional contexts. By improving your typing speed and accuracy, you can enhance productivity, reduce errors, increase focus, and minimize physical strain associated with excessive computer use.
Remember that mastering touch typing takes time and consistent effort but the rewards are well worth it in terms of improved communication skills and overall efficiency in today’s fast-paced digital world. So why wait? Unlock the power of efficient communication by learning touch typing on a keyboard today.

The most important skill nobody taught you

Before dying at the age of 39, Blaise Pascal made huge contributions to both physics and mathematics, notably in fluids, geometry, and probability.
This work, however, would influence more than just the realm of the natural sciences. Many fields that we now classify under the heading of social science did, in fact, also grow out of the foundation he helped lay.
Interestingly enough, much of this was done in his teen years, with some of it coming in his twenties. As an adult, inspired by a religious experience, he actually started to move towards philosophy and theology.
Right before his death, he was hashing out fragments of private thoughts that would later be released as a collection by the name of Pensées.
While the book is mostly a mathematician’s case for choosing a life of faith and belief, the more curious thing about it is its clear and lucid ruminations on what it means to be human. It’s a blueprint of our psychology long before psychology was deemed a formal discipline.
There is enough thought-provoking material in it to quote, and it attacks human nature from a variety of different angles, but one of its most famous thoughts aptly sums up the core of his argument:
“All of humanity’s problems stem from man’s inability to sit quietly in a room alone.”
According to Pascal, we fear the silence of existence, we dread boredom and instead choose aimless distraction, and we can’t help but run from the problems of our emotions into the false comforts of the mind.
The issue at the root, essentially, is that we never learn the art of solitude.
The perils of being connected
Today, more than ever, Pascal’s message rings true. If there is one word to describe the progress made in the last 100 years, it’s connectedness.
Information technologies have dominated our cultural direction. From the telephone to the radio to the TV to the internet, we have found ways to bring us all closer together, enabling constant worldly access.
I can sit in my office in Canada and transport myself to practically anywhere I want through Skype. I can be on the other side of the world and still know what is going on at home with a quick browse.
I don’t think I need to highlight the benefits of all this. But the downsides are also beginning to show. Beyond the current talk about privacy and data collection, there is perhaps an even more detrimental side-effect here.
We now live in a world where we’re connected to everything except ourselves.
If Pascal’s observation about our inability to sit quietly in a room by ourselves is true of the human condition in general, then the issue has certainly been augmented by an order of magnitude due to the options available today.
The logic is, of course, seductive. Why be alone when you never have to?
Well, the answer is that never being alone is not the same thing as never feeling alone. Worse yet, the less comfortable you are with solitude, the more likely it is that you won’t know yourself. And then, you’ll spend even more time avoiding it to focus elsewhere. In the process, you’ll become addicted to the same technologies that were meant to set you free.
Just because we can use the noise of the world to block out the discomfort of dealing with ourselves doesn’t mean that this discomfort goes away.
Almost everybody thinks of themselves as self-aware. They think they know how they feel and what they want and what their problems are. But the truth is that very few people really do. And those that do will be the first to tell how fickle self-awareness is and how much alone time it takes to get there.
In today’s world, people can go their whole lives without truly digging beyond the surface-level masks they wear; in fact, many do.
We are increasingly out of touch with who we are, and that’s a problem.
Boredom as a mode of stimulation
If we take it back to the fundamentals—and this is something Pascal touches on, too—our aversion to solitude is really an aversion to boredom.
At its core, it’s not necessarily that we are addicted to a TV set because there is something uniquely satisfying about it, just like we are not addicted to most stimulants because the benefits outweigh the downsides. Rather, what we are really addicted to is a state of not-being-bored.
Almost anything else that controls our life in an unhealthy way finds its root in our realization that we dread the nothingness of nothing. We can’t imagine just being rather than doing. And therefore, we look for entertainment, we seek company, and if those fail, we chase even higher highs.
We ignore the fact that never facing this nothingness is the same as never facing ourselves. And never facing ourselves is why we feel lonely and anxious in spite of being so intimately connected to everything else around us.
Fortunately, there is a solution. The only way to avoid being ruined by this fear—like any fear—is to face it. It’s to let the boredom take you where it wants so you can deal with whatever it is that is really going on with your sense of self. That’s when you’ll hear yourself think, and that’s when you’ll learn to engage the parts of you that are masked by distraction.
The beauty of this is that, once you cross that initial barrier, you realize that being alone isn’t so bad. Boredom can provide its own stimulation.
When you surround yourself with moments of solitude and stillness, you become intimately familiar with your environment in a way that forced stimulation doesn’t allow. The world becomes richer, the layers start to peel back, and you see things for what they really are, in all their wholeness, in all their contradictions, and in all their unfamiliarity.
You learn that there are other things you are capable of paying attention to than just what makes the most noise on the surface. Just because a quiet room doesn’t scream with excitement like the idea of immersing yourself in a movie or a TV show doesn’t mean that there isn’t depth to explore there.
Sometimes, the direction that this solitude leads you in can be unpleasant, especially when it comes to introspection—your thoughts and your feelings, your doubts and your hopes—but in the long-term, it’s far more pleasant than running away from it all without even realizing that you are.
Embracing boredom allows you to discover novelty in things you didn’t know were novel; it’s like being an unconditioned child seeing the world for the first time. It also resolves the majority of internal conflicts.
The takeaway
The more the world advances, the more stimulation it will provide as an incentive for us to get outside of our own mind to engage with it.
While Pascal’s generalization that a lack of comfort with solitude is the root of all our problems may be an exaggeration, it’s isn’t an entirely unmerited one.
Everything that has done so much to connect us has simultaneously isolated us. We are so busy being distracted that we are forgetting to tend to ourselves, which is consequently making us feel more and more alone.
Interestingly, the main culprit isn’t our obsession with any particular worldly stimulation. It’s the fear of nothingness—our addiction to a state of not-being-bored. We have an instinctive aversion to simply being.
Without realizing the value of solitude, we are overlooking the fact that, once the fear of boredom is faced, it can actually provide its own stimulation. And the only way to face it is to make time, whether every day or every week, to just sit—with our thoughts, our feelings, with a moment of stillness.
The oldest philosophical wisdom in the world has one piece of advice for us: know yourself. And there is a good reason why that is.
Without knowing ourselves, it’s almost impossible to find a healthy way to interact with the world around us. Without taking time to figure it out, we don’t have a foundation to built the rest of our lives on.
Being alone and connecting inwardly is a skill nobody ever teaches us. That’s ironic because it’s more important than most of the ones they do.
Solitude may not be the solution to everything, but it certainly is a start.

Restart the device
People underestimate the power of “restart.” Restarting works most of the time on almost every issue.

Clean the display

We all use tablets daily and carry them everywhere; that’s one of the points of having a tablet. But when you use something daily, it is bound to get dirty.
So, ensure that your tablet’s screen has no residue of water, oil, grease, or any other kind of liquid on the screen.
If there is any, clean it with a wet towel. You can use isopropyl alcohol or any isopropyl alcohol-based glass cleaner if it doesn’t come off.
Change the Charger
If the ghost touch issue only hits your Realme Pad when you plug it to charge, it is most probably caused due to the charger.
Test if the issue persists with a different charger.
Before you buy a new charger, I suggest you borrow one from your family members or friends and verify if your charger is indeed faulty.
Remove your screen protector

Screen protectors are a necessity for tablets with their giant screens.
But with time, the glue on the screen protectors which hold them to your tablet degrades and can cause your tablet to register false touches, aka ghost touches.
- Remove the screen protector from your Realme Pad
- Clean the display with a wet cloth
- Test if the issue is fixed
Once you verify that the screen protector caused the issue, you can install a new screen protector on your Realme Pad.
Firmware Update
You must know that Hardware and Software work together to bring you a great tablet experience. If you didn’t, well, now you know it.
The software or firmware, among thousands of other things, also controls the touch sensitivity of the touch screen of your Realme Pad.
If the ghost touch issue on your Realme Pad started after you performed a software update, it is probably the cause of ghost touches.
You should try to factory reset your Realme Pad; if it doesn’t work-
You have two options, wait for a new software update from Realme, which can take anywhere from a week to a month.
The other option is to visit the nearest Realme Repair Center and get your Tablet’s Firmware downgraded to the last stable version.
Faulty Touch Panel
Multiple layers of components combined make the screen. You can learn more about it from this website .
One of the layers is the touch digitizer layer; some refer to it as the touch panel; this layer is responsible for capturing the location where your finger touched, and then your tablet responds. It is not visible with naked eyes.
There is a probability that even though the display is scratch-less but the touch digitizer layer inside is damaged, causing ghost touch.
Unfortunately, as this is a hardware issue, you can’t fix it. So instead, you need to take your Realme Pad to the nearest Realme Repair Center and get it fixed by their technicians.
If your tablet has physical or water damage, the warranty won’t cover the repair, and you will need to pay for it.

Realme Pad X Screen Issues and How to Fix Them

If you are facing any Realme Pad X screen issue and problem on this tablet then immediately find a solution to solve and fix it. Don’t let phone screen damaged for too long, in addition to your comfort as a user, of course, also to prevent any further damage on your tablet.
This phone has a sophisticated screen panel and is actually protected thanks to the presence of a screen protector technology called Corning Gorilla Glass.
However, this does not guarantee that factory default problems can be avoided. Some or most of the problematic units must be repaired, on your side or even by technical staff.
Guide to Fix Screen Issues on Realme Pad X
Nambanation friends, are you currently having screen issues on Realme Pad X? We have summarized some of the common screen problems that users often experience, as well as some solutions to fix them before you make a warranty claim to related service center.
Realme Pad X Frozen Screen Won’t Turn Offf
Have you ever been distracted while using your phone, whether for playing games, chatting, browsing, or even streaming, suddenly Realme Pad X screen freezes and is stuck and can’t be used at all?
If by any chance, phone screen is suddenly returns to normal, then to prevent it from happening again, you can go to settings and check the remaining internal memory capacity. Don’t let screen touch any water to avoid malfunction.
Make sure about 20% of the total ROM capacity is available, si ce we are talking about Android phones, then manual optimization needs to be done in the long run.
Internal Storage Memory that is almost or already full can cause the phone’s performance to be messy, especially your Realme Pad X screen issues that often lags, frozen, hangs.
Realme Pad X Vertical and Horizontal Lines on Screen Problem
Phone screens that are horizontally or vertically lined are certainly very annoying. How to deal with Realme Pad X horizontal lines screen in general is not much different from a vertical ones on screen.
Likewise regarding how to fix white lines on screen. Because, this vertical – horizontal lines on Realme Pad X screen problem can be caused by many factors. Whether it’s a factor from this phone hardware, or there’s issues that comes from its software. So how to fix this?
Get Into Safe Mode
Next time you’ll need to put Screen Protector like Tempered Glass on it to avoid any screen replacement, original screen always the best one. But first way to fix lines on screen that you can try is to restart your phone first, then proceed with entering ‘Safe Mode’. What’s the purpose?
Safe mode serves to track the performance of its operating system and find a diagnosis if there is a problem in UI or Android system.
By doing safe mode, if there are cracks or lines on Realme Pad X screen in the software, the system will immediately send a signal or notification.
To enter safe mode on Realme Pad X is: Press and hold power button until a pop up menu appears on the screen. Press and hold power off button until another pop up appears.
Select OK to allow reboot on smartphone into Safe mode feature, after that the phone is automatically getting in to safe mode easily, now you can do next step to fix them.
If you can’t find the pop up menu, or the first way to solve the horizontal lines on screen above doesn’t work at all, you can find a way that fits the phone version.
Since there are usually different types of phones and different version of firmware, there will also be different ways to get into safe mode on Android.
Damaged and Dead Pixel Realme Pad X Screen
On Android, there are some apps that have been developed to be a way to solve lines across phone screen or other problems. For example like Dead Pixels Test and Fix. This app works by detecting damaged pixels, then eliminating them until they become as if they were still normal.
This can also be a solution for you guys, who have experiencing lines on phone screen. Here are the steps: Install the Dead Pixels Test and Fix app.
Open the app as usual. Tap Check Dead Pixels and Fix Dead Pixels to start repairing. If you have, you just need to wait and the results will be visible soon. Some users says this abnormal issue happens after the update.
Fix Realme Pad X Shadow Screen Issue
If a shaded screen appears after you have used your phone for a few hours, for example playing an online game, then this is probably due to Realme Pad X overheating problem. I’ve been saying this numerous times, users need avoid any overheat battery, this can cause more damage to your phone even to its screen.
To fix it, just cool down your Realme Pad X and turn it off for some time. If the battery is removable, it is better to remove it first. This will give the screen a rest, each pixel discharges electricity and returns to its original state. So that the shadow screen can disappear.
Green Screen and Flickering
Realme Pad X screen is flickering? It can be caused by flexible or loose screen ports due to shaking or dropping. To fix this, we can press the screen, hopefully (relying on luck) LCD or flexible cable will re-unite with the motherboard inside the phone.
However, you have to be careful and understand the risks, besides being able to repair, this also has potential to give even more damage on your phone screen, for example, such as breaking or even completely can’t be used whatsoever. So for this method, it must be wiser.
Fix Ghost Touch Realme Pad X Problem
A smartphone screen moving by itself is no longer a new problem these days, it’s becoming common issue since a lot of phones already experiencing the same, users called this as Realme Pad X Ghost Touch.
There are several reasons behind the phone screen moving on its own. One of them is damaged screen or LCD (Liquid Crystal Display). We are certainly get used to it and know the issue. Check the section and make sure its condition.
The phone screen is prone to problems. If water splashes into the phone, this can cause the screen to move by itself. To solve problems like this, of course you have to replace the LCD with a new one. This will also help to prevent additional Realme Pad X screen problem from spreading to other parts of your phone.
Screen Not Responding
A static electricity can cause Realme Pad X screen not responding and touchscreen to error even causing black and white screen, the way to solve it is to simply press power button and turn it back on.
On the other note phone screen could be exposed to water, there are times when water that covers the surface of phone screen can also cause a static effect and reduce screen responsiveness to even not responding at all. To fix this one is dry the screen, press the power button and try turning it back on.
White Dot on Phone Screen Camera
Some were thought this is an issue, in fact this only a “Floating Shutter Button”. Yup, this white dot on Realme Pad X screen while you’re using camera app for taking picture or recording a video will appears. Put this anywhere you want to make it more comfortable, it was also meant to make it easier to take a picture while recording.
Last Method
If the first to the last method doesn’t work at all, it’s possible that hardware damage has occurred so that Realme Pad X screen issues is permanent. It isn’t normal even if your phone is more than a year old. So it’s time to replace the screen by bringing it to authorized service center. Make sure you choose an official service center to get original screen replacement and any original spare parts.

The tablet is nice but it doesn't have the best screen but for a budget tablet, it's alright. Having quad speakers and HiFi wired audio is also acceptable for the price. The only thing I don't like is the lack of Android 12 update. Realme should really give us Android 12 update.

This is by far the best budget tablet I've used. I use it mainly for watching movies, web series, playing some light games and it gives me over 48 hours of battery life on a single charge with dark mode on. I was a bit worried about its performance and battery life but it has been a pleasure using it.

I was looking for a normal tablet for watching movies and playing some casual games so I ended up buying this tablet for $128 (4/64 GB) so far so good looks like a pretty decent one.

got the 6gb/128gb for around 199$, well ... my previous tab was a 4gb/32gb Huawei Mediapad M5 8.4" @ roughly 300$ trading a better MP GPU for better CPU cores 2 more speaker (M5: 2 Harman Kardon tuned speaker with a dedicated AK4376 DAC, though contender ... but the Realme Pad sound amazing no matter what i play on it ) bigger screen more ram more storage, common point : aluminum unibody goodness doesn't feel like a bad deal ... i mostly play light games, like Artery gear or Azur lane, zero lag so far (for heavier i use my Poco F3 5G ) watch video and play some tune on Spotify (and what a joy it is to not need to use a BT speaker, that little sound monster can pretty much fill a room with sound ) for the money no better (a Galaxy Tab A8 is 10$ cheaper for me but i's a 3gb/32gb and performance wise : same same ) if i had 119$ more i would have taken my dream pad the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and her SD860 to compliment the Poco F3 5G, but well ... tight budget

Been using for almost two weeks. Mainly use for browsing, e-commerce managing, watching movies and music. So far satisfied with the specs and quality provided. Dual micro sim,and micro SD. face recognition work very great. The frame not too thick and not to thin. Never do any gaming yet. But recommended to use it for working and managing.

Does it have a light sensor? Automatic screen brightness doesn't work...
- 07 May 2022
Satisfied with the quality of display. Was just hoping that it is a dual sim. saw that the sd card can also fit another sim card. tried it and it is working. From the store up to any spec review ive read, no one mentioned that it is a dual sim capable. just perfect for my ebooks and online video streaming needs.
