Gilliger Graham, a struggling writer, is told by his agent that he must produce a hit novel if he is to save his career. He decamps to his old family home, where his father, who was once a very successful writer, had died under mysterious circumstances many years before. Disturbed by the reminders of his old family life, Gilliger struggles to find his muse, and driven to drink, he stumbles across an old hidden manuscript -- his father's unfinished, last novel. He soon realizes the novel is better than anything he can write himself and decides to plagiarize the book, and begins transposing it to his laptop. Then, his real troubles begin. Haunted by the characters from the book, he begins to understand that the novel is a part confessional, which implicates his deceased father at the center of a murder.... The Ghost Writer is a supernatural thriller about a man battling the demons of his father's past to overcome his own, and find redemption.

Nope (2022)

That's right, Jordan Peele's third film is now streaming on Prime Video. The sci-fi horror movie stars Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer as siblings who run a horse ranch in Southern California. They learn something large and mysterious is occupying the sky, leading to a quest to capture it on camera. 

M3gan Blumhouse

M3GAN (2022)

M3GAN the killer doll gained attention earlier this year for her unnatural dance moves, and now you can watch the rest of her story. In the movie, she's given to a young girl as a companion, but things don't work out as planned.

Totally Killer (2023)

Want to revisit the 80s? Kiernan Shipka time-travels to the decade and takes on a killer in this new Prime Video slasher comedy. Randall Park and Julie Bowen also make appearances.

Smile (2022)

Suspiria (2018)

An homage to the original 1977 film, Suspiria stars Dakota Johnson and Tilda Swinton. 

Prepare to be mindblown by 2013's Coherence.

Coherence (2014)

Coherence is a huge favorite here at CNET  and it's a terrifying watch. Not necessarily in the traditional, gory, horrific sense but more in terms of the concepts. It's a multiverse movie released before multiverses were cool and it's not what you expect. Coherence is the kind of movie you'll finish and immediately rewatch to try and rewire your brain. It's a fantastic achievement. A must watch.

A g-g-g- ghost!

That — spluttering and all — was the usual reaction to Casper, the Friendly Ghost. Ghosts scare people. Even if, like Casper in the old cartoons, they just want to be your friend.

Ghosts, as a matter of fact, often have more on their minds than just saying "boo!"

Sometimes, as in "Macbeth," "Julius Caesar," and "Hamlet," they come back to scold, warn, prod. Sometimes, as in "A Christmas Carol," they do interventions.

And sometimes — as in "Ghostbusters" — ghosts just wanna have fun.

At Halloween, our annual festival of fear, they'll always have a place of honor — if only because their costume is a gift to the lazy. White sheet, two holes, done. Coincidentally, ghosts are also among the simplest of Hollywood's special effects. Double exposure is as old as film itself.

Maybe that's why ghosts have haunted movie theaters for 120 years — ever since Georges Méliès made "The Apparition" in 1903. And Halloween is a great time to catch up with the best of them. Here are some of our favorites.

With this caveat: Hollywood's ghosts, like all ghosts, have mixed motives. Not every ghost movie is meant to scare you.

Some movie ghosts are wistful. Or romantic. Or funny. Or even thought provoking.

But others? BEWARRRRRE!!!!!!

'A Ghost Story' (2017)

There are sad ghosts, just like there are sad clowns. Casey Affleck, for instance — killed in a crash, who comes back to his old home to haunt his grieving wife, Rooney Mara. Ludicrously, wistfully, he looks exactly like a trick-or-treat ghost — the sheet with two eyes. This minimalist meditation on time, grief and memory, from writer-director David Lowery, is slow, unsettling. Haunting, in a word. Vudu, Amazon Prime, YouTube, Google, Apple.

'The Others' (2001)

The other whats? Not humans, for sure, in this moody tale of a woman (Nicole Kidman), her photo-sensitive children, and her servants, in an isolated house in the Channel Islands where — it turns out — they are not quite so alone after all. Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, Vudu.

'Sixth Sense' (1999)

"I see dead people." And there's a reason for that, in M. Night Shyamalan 's much-discussed thriller featuring a psychologist (Bruce Willis), a disturbed and disturbing child (Haley Joel Osment), and a famous "shock" ending that we won't spoil — though you probably know it already. Peacock, Apple TV, Vudu, Amazon Prime.

'Ghost' (1990)

The ghost: Patrick Swayze. The widow: Demi Moore. The medium: Whoopi Goldberg. The revelation: pottery. Who knew it was sexy? This iconic '90s film may or may not be a classic of supernatural love. But it's certainly Hollywood's greatest advertisement for ceramics class. Max, Roku, Spectrum TV, Prime Video, Vudu, Apple TV, Redbox.

' Beetlejuice ' (1988)

Leave it to Tim Burton to tell a ghost story from the ghost's point of view. In this case, about a ghostly couple (Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis) who hire an ectoplasmic exterminator (Michael Keaton) to rid their house of its human pests. Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! There, we've said it. Amazon Prime, Vudu, Apple TV.

'Ghostbusters' (1984)

Who could resist Slimer, Zuul, and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man? Apparently only Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd — which is why they had to be called in in the first place. This monster hit earned a place in comedy history, but — heretical opinion — we prefer "Ghostbusters II" (1989), with its demonic spirit Vigo (Norbert Grupe), a sort of ectoplasmic Vlad the Impaler, and his nutty enabler Dr Janosz Poha (Peter MacNicol, borrowing the Polish accent of his "Sophie's Choice" co-star, Meryl Streep) who warns the heroes that to Vigo "you are like the buzzing of flies!" USA Network, OXYGEN, SYFY, Bravo, E!, Prime Video, ROW8, Apple TV, Vudu.

'Poltergeist' (1982)

This Tobe Hooper/Steven Spielberg shocker goes a bit over the top in the last act. But the early scenes, involving a nice suburban daddy (Craig T. Nelson), his nice normal family, and his sweet little daughter (Heather O'Rourke), who gets sucked into the TV set, are notably creepy, and Zelda Rubenstein is unforgettable as the medium with the happy message: "All are welcome in the light!" Max, Philo, Prime Video, Apple TV, Vudu or Redbox, or on TCM 12:30 a.m. Oct. 18.

'The Shining' (1980)

Just because you're dead, doesn't mean you don't have to earn a living. In "The Shining," Stanley Kubrick's epic rendering of the Stephen King novel, the ghosts include butler Grady (Philip Stone) and bartender Lloyd (Joe Turkel), who do their best to make homicidal Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) comfortable as he plots to murder his wife and child in an empty, snowbound hotel. Kubrick brought a new twist to ghost movies: all the scary stuff happens in broad daylight. Which makes it worse. Amazon, Google Play, iTunes, and Vudu.

'The Fog' (1980)

"It's not the fog. It's what's in the fog!" Carcinogens? No — it's the ghosts of an evil ship's crew lurking within the creepy mist that blankets Point Reyes, California. John Carpenter's flashlight-in-the-face ghost yarn, starring the inevitable Adrienne Barbeau and Jamie Lee Curtis, is good spooky fun. Prime Video, Apple TV or Vudu.

'The Haunting' (1963)

Even ghosts gotta live somewhere. Hence, the Haunted House — one of Hollywood's favorite pieces of real estate. This one is especially nasty, with its middle-of-the-night pounding, cold spots, and a memorably unstable spiral staircase. Naturally, the 1999 remake (both are based on Shirley Jackson's "The Haunting of Hill House") upped the shocks — and naturally, no one talks about it. Amazon Prime Video, Vudu, Apple TV, or on TCM 1:30 a.m. Oct. 21.

'Carnival of Souls' (1962)

This unique low-budget chiller, featuring a haunted amusement pier, has a twist that out-Shyamalans M. Night Shyamalan. Recommended. Amazon Video, Google Play, YouTube, Vudu, Microsoft Store, Apple TV.

'The Innocents' (1961)

Two sweet children. A spunky governess. But this isn't "The Sound of Music." Because these kids are haunted by evil spirits. Or else the governess is losing her mind. And either way, this gorgeously photographed, subtly spooky rendering of Henry James' "The Turn of the Screw" is probably the best ghost movie ever made. Deborah Kerr's performance is a tour de force. Netflix, Amazon, Vudu.

'The Ghost and Mrs. Muir' (1947)

Is a ghost your ideal mate? eHarmony might not think so. But Hollywood has occasionally thought otherwise. The best of all the otherworldly love stories is probably this one — about an independent-minded widow (Gene Tierney) circa 1900, who is romanced by the ghost of a cranky sea captain (Rex Harrison). It sounds trite — but the movie has a depth and melancholy that is hard to forget. A lot of it has to do with the seaside setting, and Bernard Herrmann's exquisite music. Prime Video, Apple TV or Vudu or TCM 8 p.m. Oct. 20.

'Dead of Night' (1945)

This omnibus film of the uncanny — a sort of dry run for "The Twilight Zone" — includes several ghost stories. Best of all is the convalescing patient, and the ghostly hearse driver who calls up to him: "Just room for one inside sir!" Guess who, a week later, is driving the bus to take him home from the hospital. iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Vudu.

'The Uninvited' (1944)

It sounds like a problem for Miss Manners. But it's actually a problem for Ray Milland and Ruth Hussey, whose lovely seaside house on the Cornwall coast is plagued by ghostly sobbing, inexplicable cold drafts, and the scent of Mimosa that was associated with the murderess who lived there years before. Hollywood's first attempt at a "serious" ghost movie — though mild by today's standards — still holds up pretty well. TCM 11:45 p.m. Oct. 20.

With network, cable and streaming, the modern television landscape is a vast one. Here are some of the shows, specials and movies coming to TV this week, Oct. 16-Oct. 22. Details and times are subject to change.

THE AMERICAN BUFFALO 8 p.m. on PBS (check local listings). Ken Burns is back with another documentary — this time, it’s a two-part series on buffaloes and their evolution, reaching back to the early 1800s. Stories from Indigenous people frame the film with accounts of the mutually beneficial relationship their communities had with the animals.

FBOY ISLAND 8 p.m. on The CW. Katie Thurston might not have found love during her stint as “The Bachelorette,” but she’ll get another shot on this new reality series. Thurston will be joined by the model Hali Okeowo, and the influencer Daniella Grace as they date 25 men — some of whom are nice guys. It is not entirely clear how someone wins the cash prize on this show (which asks the eternal question: Is it better to be a nice guy or the wilder kind?), but there is no doubt that it’ll be as messy as a car crash you cannot look away from.

NAVAJO POLICE: CLASS 57 9 p.m. on HBO. Though being a recruit for the Navajo Nation Police Department doesn’t seem like it would be too different than trying to make the cut in any other department, these law enforcement hopefuls have to contend with rising crime levels and the particular threats that their communities face. This three-part docu-series follows the candidates as they work their way through the Navajo Police Training Academy in Arizona.

THE CHALLENGE: BATTLE FOR A NEW CHAMPION 8 p.m. on MTV . Like the original version of the show, this special iteration features a group of reality stars who all formerly appeared on other shows, including “Love Island,” “Big Brother” and “Are You the One?” The twist here is that the contestants not only will be pitted against one another, but they will also compete with a rotating group of former champions of the show in physical challenges for a cash prize and the title.

POLTERGEIST (1982) 10 p.m. on AMC. It’s all fun and games when ghosts commune with a Southern California-based family through their television set — until the spirits turn menacing. This story follows Steve (Craig T. Nelson) and Diane (JoBeth Williams) as they consult with a parapsychologist and an exorcist after their daughter Carol Anne (Heather O’Rourke) goes missing amid spooky and creepy happenings around their house.

PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES (2016) 9:45 p.m. on Syfy. Though in my head Mr. Darcy will always be tall, dark and handsome (see Colin Firth or Matthew Macfadyen in the role) and silently brooding in various corners — if you love all things supernatural, maybe you would prefer a Mr. Darcy who, along with his other attributes, is an exceptionally skilled zombie-slayer. The title of this movie really says it all: The unmarried Bennet sisters seek out eligible bachelors while simultaneously trying to stay safe amid a growing zombie population. While Elizabeth Bennet is attracted to Mr. Darcy in the Jane Austen book because of his love for her, in this film, she is drawn to his zombie-killing skills.

THE UNINVITED (1944) 11:45 p.m. on TCM. This film, staring Ray Milland (Rick) and Ruth Hussey (Pamela), is a classic ghost story. Rick and his sister Pamela decide to buy an abandoned 18th-century house. The owner associates the house with the death of his daughter and sells it over his granddaughter’s objections. Once Rick and Pamela move in, they have to contend with some not-so-happy ghosts. It is “as solemnly intent on raising goose flesh as any ghost story weirdly told to a group of shivering youngsters around a campfire on a dark and windy night,” Bosley Crowther wrote in his review for The New York Times . “All of the old standbys are in it — flickering candles, the slowly opening door, supernatural agitations and a scent of mimosa now and then.”

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA (2012) 7:15 p.m. on Freeform. If two nights straight of scary movies has your fight-or-flight response working overtime, this cute, animated take on a spooky movie could give your nervous system a break. Count Dracula (Adam Sandler) owns a hotel where monsters go when they want to relax. On this particular weekend, Dracula plans a party to celebrate the 118th birthday of his daughter Mavis (Selena Gomez). Things go awry when a human (Andy Samberg) accidentally crashes the party and subsequently falls in love with Mavis, who is a vampire.

AKA MR. CHOW 9 p.m. on HBO. It’s impossible to deny that Michael Chow has had an interesting life: born in Shanghai, Chow moved to London, where he opened a Chinese restaurant with Italian waiters that catered to British diners. His restaurant, Mr. Chow, now has locations in New York, Miami, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. This documentary film focuses on his life and his recently revealed other identity as an artist who goes by the name “M.”

Numerous games, mice, keyboards and headsets we like are on sale for amazon's prime big deal days event..

Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale is turning out to be a great opportunity to pick up some new gaming gear. We're now into the second (and last) day of the sale, but we're still seeing a number of discounts on games and accessories we like. Notable deals include lower-than-usual prices on Nintendo Switch and PS5 exclusives as well as savings on mice , keyboards , headsets and more. If you're looking for new games to play, a mechanical keyboard for your rig or a decent gaming headset for online sessions, we've picked out some highlights below. As a reminder, Amazon's “October Prime Day” sale runs ends tonight. After that many of the sale prices may disappear (though they may also return for Black Friday).

Metroid Dread (Switch)

A number of worthwhile Nintendo Switch exclusives are discounted for Prime Big Deal Days. The offers include the charming turn-based strategy game Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope for $20, the tactics RPG Fire Emblem Engage for $30, the wild hack-and-slasher Bayonetta 3   for $37, the tense side-scroller Metroid Dread for $40 and the workout RPG Ring Fit Adventure   for $50. Mario Golf: Super Rush and Super Mario Maker 2 are available for $40 each as well. Most of these games are a few years old, and not every deal is an all-time low, but each is at least $10 cheaper than usual.

PlayStation 5 games

Along those lines, various PlayStation games are also on sale, including several entries on our list of the best PS5 games . The giant action game God of War Ragnarök is down to $50, the gorgeous PS5 remake of The Last of Us   is down to $46, while the popular open-world games Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition and Horizon Forbidden West are both down to $40. The haunting roguelike Returnal , punishing action-RPG Demon’s Souls , accessible shooter Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and samurai adventure Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut are all available for $10 less than that. The PS4 copies of some of these games are discounted as well; in Horizon ’s case , you can save a little cash by using that to get a free PS5 upgrade. Again, we’ve seen all of these deals before and most aren’t quite all-time lows, but this is still a decent chance to save.

Other video game deals

A few noteworthy non-exclusives are priced a little lower than normal too. The widely acclaimed Elden Ring is down to $40, for example, while the more old-school RPG Octopath Traveler II is down to $28 and the remake of PSP classic Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is available for $25. (The latter is a PS4 copy, but you can get a free upgrade to the PS5 edition.) The dungeon crawler Diablo IV is $20 off at $50, while Prime members can grab a free copy of Ghostwire: Tokyo   for the PC. The same caveats as above still apply here.

Backbone One

The Backbone One is a well-built gamepad that snaps around the sides of your phone and works immediately with just about any game that supports controller input. It’s also convenient for cloud streaming games from a console or PC. Right now both its USB-C and Lightning models are down to $70, which is $30 off. That’s not an all-time low, but discounts on the device are relatively uncommon. We gave the One a positive review last year, and we currently highlight it in our guide to the best handheld gaming systems . Backbone says the USB-C models will work with Apple’s new iPhone 15 lineup as well.

$100 PlayStation Store Gift Card + $10 Amazon credit

Here's a simple one: If you buy a $100 PlayStation Store digital gift card and use the code PSN100 at checkout, you can get an extra $10 Amazon credit to use on future purchases. If you often use Amazon and plan on picking up new PS5 games, renewing a PlayStation Plus subscription or buying any other content through the PlayStation Store anyway, it's effectively a bit of free money.

The Razer Basilisk V3 is down to $44, which is a few bucks more than its all-time low but still $6 less than its usual street price. This is the “best for most” pick in our guide to the best gaming mouse , as its sturdy shape should be comfortable for each grip type and all but the smallest hands. (Provided you’re a righty.) It has 11 customizable buttons, including a “sensitivity clutch” for more precise aiming, and its thumb wheel supports both left-right tilt and a faster free-spin mode. That wheel is somewhat noisy, and the whole thing is too heavy for competitive-minded players, but it still tracks accurately and glides smoothly.

WD and Seagate Storage Expansion Cards for Xbox Series X/S

It’s unfortunate, but the only way to fully expand the storage of an Xbox Series X/S console is to buy a proprietary expansion card. If your Xbox is hurting for space, the 1TB version of WD’s Black C50 card is at least a little cheaper than usual at $125. That’s a $25 discount and a new low. If you need more room, the 2TB model of Seagate’s Storage Expansion Card is also on sale for an all-time low at $230. That’s $50 off. (The 1TB Seagate card is available for $130, but there’s little reason to buy that when the WD model is cheaper.) Both of these are still pricier than a comparable SSD , but any bit of savings should be welcome.

Prime Big Deal Days has brought the first significant discount on Sony's PlayStation VR2 headset, which the company released this past February. It's currently down to $509, which is $41 off its list price. That's still a good chunk of change for a VR headset that doesn't have a super extensive game library on the PS5, but if you've been on the fence about picking the device up, it's at least a little more palatable. We gave the PSVR2 a review score of 84 at launch, as we were impressed by its excellent dual OLED displays, (relatively) comfortable fit and well-built controllers.

The top budget pick in our guide to the best gaming headsets , the HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 , is on sale for $35. That’s just a modest $5 discount but matches the lowest price we’ve seen. The Cloud Stinger 2 doesn’t have the most balanced or detailed sound, but its V-shaped signature gives action scenes a nice level of impact, and its mic quality belies the dirt-cheap price. The design is comfortable too, though it’s made from cheap-feeling plastic.

If you’re willing to pay a little more, the HyperX Cloud Alpha is another decent value at $60, which is $15 or so lower than its typical street price. We note this as an honorable mention in our guide : It’s been around for a few years now, but it’s comfortable, and its detachable mic is solid. It’s better built than the Cloud Stinger 2 as well. At this price, they don’t sound bad either, though an underemphasized treble means they aren’t especially detailed.

If you’re looking for a wireless headset, the Logitech G535 is back down to $80, which is about $25 below its average street price. This is another honorable mention in our gaming headsets guide , as we like its lightweight design, Bluetooth support and agreeable, relatively well-balanced sound. It forces you to crank the volume to reach a listenable level though, and its mic makes voices sound a little too thin. It also doesn’t work with Xbox consoles. But if you really want a wireless gaming headset for less than $100, it’s well worth a look.

If you don’t need a mic, a good set of wired headphones will often provide more detailed sound than a dedicated gaming headset. The Sennheiser HD 560S is a good example of this, and right now it’s on sale for $150. While not an all-time low, that’s about $35 below the pair’s typical street price. We recommend the HD 560S in our guide to the best gaming headphones : Its open-back design lets in and leaks a ton of noise, but its wide soundstage and balanced signature lend games a pleasing sense of immersion. It’s comfortable to wear for extended periods as well. Just don’t expect much in the way of deep sub-bass.

Razer Huntsman V2 TKL

The Razer Huntsman V2 TKL is available for $90, which is $30 or so off its average street price. This is a pick in our guide to the best gaming keyboards , as we like its crisp PBT keycaps, sturdy frame, clean RGB lighting, included wrist rest and steady performance. The catch is that this deal applies to the model with Razer’s Clicky Optical switches , which we found to be noisier and harsher-sounding than its linear counterpart. Neither model is hot-swappable either. But if you can live with a louder typing sound, there’s plenty to like. Razer recently released a higher-end Huntsman V3 Pro line , but those aren’t discounted.

The SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL Wireless is down to $175, which is within a dollar of its all-time low and $75 off its list price. This is the top wireless pick in our gaming keyboard buying guide , mainly due to its magnetic OmniPoint switches, which enable a range of helpful gaming features. For instance, you can raise or lower the actuation point of individual keys — setting a high point to make typing more comfortable or a low one to make presses more responsive — and use a rapid trigger mode to repeat inputs faster.

The rest of the keyboard is satisfactory as well, with multiple connection options and a useful OLED display for adjusting settings, though you’d buy this for its gaming features more than its typing experience. In general, we think the Wooting 60HE is a better option for gaming enthusiasts, but that one isn’t on sale; the Apex Pro is a close-enough substitute if you need to go wireless. The smaller Apex Pro Mini Wireless is also discounted for $15 less.

Another high-end wireless gaming keyboard, the ASUS ROG Azoth , is on sale for $210 in various switch configurations. While that isn’t an all-time low, it’s about $20 less than the device’s usual going rate since it arrived earlier this year. We highlight the ROG Azoth as an honorable mention in our gaming keyboard guide . It’s expensive, but it’s supremely well-built, with enthusiast-level touches like a gasket-mounted design — which gives keystrokes a softer feel — and a toolkit for lubing switches right in the box. It doesn’t have the flexible gaming features as the Apex Pro above, but it’s decidedly premium all the same.

Samsung Evo Select

The 512GB version of Samsung’s Evo Select microSD card is on sale for $28, which is an all-time low and $7 below its usual rate. The 128GB model , meanwhile, is down to $10, which is another low. The Evo Select is the “best value” pick in our microSD card buying guide : It’s not the most performant option we tested — that’d be the Samsung Pro Plus — but it’s perfectly serviceable for running games on a Nintendo Switch or Steam Deck.

The two-day event runs from October 10-11 and is currently well underway, offering up low prices for Prime members on everything from electronics, to apparel to cosmetics. 

In order to take advantage of the discounts offered during Prime Big Deal Days, you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime member . Membership for Amazon Prime costs $14.99 a month or $139 a year. However, if you haven't been a member in the previous 12-months, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial .

4. Brooks Ghost 14 running shoes: $85 at Amazon (was $140)

Looking for a good pair of running shoes that won't break the bank? Try the Brooks Ghost 14 running shoes. Right now, they're close to 40% off their original price on Amazon, only costing $85. Tom's Guide fitness editor (and five-time marathon runner) Jane McGuire ranks them on as one of the Prime Day running shoe deals worth shopping. The shoe features advanced cushioning, an air-mesh upper and removable foam insole. 

5. Tempur-Adapt Mattress Topper: $245 at Amazon (was $419)

This Prime Day, you can save close to $400 on an LG C2 OLED TV. Originally, this TV was priced at $1,499.999, but is currently on sale for $1,096. Tom's Guide refers to it as the "best OLED TV for a premium entertainment experience," noting its impressive display panel, premium design, and maximum versatility. This TV offers exceptional picture quality that adapts to the content you're watching. 

8. Toshiba 50" 4K Fire TV: $319 at Amazon (was $379)

Tom's Guide refers to the Toshiba Fire TV as "the perfect smart TV for anyone who wants a modern TV on a small budget" in it's Best Prime Day TV deals roundup . They share that "its color accuracy, low lag time, and responsive Fire TV operating system make it a great value for budget shoppers." It only costs $319 at Amazon this Prime Day, down from it's regular price of $379.

This vacuum made Tech Radar's list of best Prime Day Deals , in which the editors called it a "great buy for a cordless vacuum with anti-allergen capabilities, an impressive 40-minute run-time and a series of multi-tools for use around the home." 

10. Echo Pop: $17.99 at Amazon (was $39.99)

If you're looking for a smart speaker, the Echo Pop is the cheapest Echo device you'll be able to purchase this Prime Day. This compact smart speaker is geared towards small spaces, but fully equipped with Alexa features. Tech Radar named it one of the 15 best Prime Day deals under $30 actually worth buying.
