Oceanco Project Bravo superyacht

It remains to be seen whether the Dallas Cowboys will win the Super Bowl this year, but owner Jerry Jones has already scored big. The billionaire businessman has laid down a whopping $250 million on Oceanco’s Project Bravo superyacht . The 357-foot (119 yards) vessel is longer than a football field. It has not one, but two helipads, a garage to store smaller boats, along with Jet Skis, a gym, and a full spa with a massage room and sauna.

Jones purchased Project Bravo in December, according to CBS Dallas . And aside from the over-the-top amenities, his new toy is also environmentally friendly—as far as yachts can be such a thing. The boat came to market in November of last year and is the first yacht by Oceanco to have what’s referred to as a “LIFE” (Lengthened, Innovative, Fuel-Efficient, and Eco-Friendly) design.

“The LIFE design’s use of advanced hybrid propulsion, which incorporates significant battery capability, is combined with a single-tier engine room that allows novel use of space for outstanding luxury accommodation,” James Roy, managing director of Lateral Naval Architects, told Robb Report last year.

Pascale Reymond of the UK-based Reymond Langton Design, which was tasked with designing Project Bravo’s interior, said her team worked with artists and craftsmen on the yacht’s fabrics, furniture, and bespoke art. There’s no word on what the bespoke art might include, but Jones is a known art collector with tastes that run from modern masters like Picasso and Ellsworth Kelly to current art stars like Jenny Holzer, Eva Rothschild, and Anish Kapoor. Jones and his wife, Gene, even have a contemporary art collection housed in the Dallas Cowboys AT&T stadium . (Everything really is bigger in Texas.)

Before he was the NFL’s most recognizable owner, Jones built his fortune as an oil wildcatter and on investments in oil drilling, retail, and residential real-estate projects in Dallas. The Texas tycoon is worth $6.8 billion as of today, according to  Forbes .  The Cowboys, valued at $5 billion, is currently his most valuable asset. He bought the team for $150 million in 1989. It has won three Super Bowls since then.

As Robb Report's watch editor, Reddinger is immersed in all things horological. She has visited the top manufacturers in Switzerland and Germany, attended high-profile auctions and met with nearly…

Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones Buys a Football Field-Sized, $250,000,000 Superyacht

Jerry World, meet Jerry Boat.

While you might have spent Christmas forcing a smile at yet another reusable water bottle, billionaire Dallas Cowboys owner and NFL big shot Jerry Jones unwrapped a new $250 million, 357-foot superyacht called the Bravo Eugenia. The rich—they're just like us!

Whether or not you agree with (or care about) the decisions Jones has made as owner of the Cowboys—which, it should be pointed out, he bought for a mere $150 million in 1989—we can all come together and collectively drop our jaws at this sheer display of floating wealth.

Named for Jones' wife Gene, the Bravo Eugenia is packed with everything a modern billionaire needs, including teak decking, two helipads, a full spa and gym, a garage for smaller boats and jet-skis, and a full staff to keep everything running smoothly. Jones has managed to keep any other details under wraps, so just know that this thing is fancy.

Video thumbnail

According to Yacht Harbour,   the newly-christened Jerry Boat was designed by Nuvolari Lenard and Lateral Naval Architects and built by the Dutch yacht masters at Oceanco. It features a slimline design and a a hybrid diesel powertrain to slice through the water more efficiently. The 4,000 gross tonnage ship can hit 17.5 knots or 20 mph, just under the top speed of most NFL running backs.

Jones and his wife took delivery of the yacht just before Christmas and passed the Yuletide on its maiden cruise around Scandinavia. Running the world's most valuable sports franchise does come with some key benefits. Still, it's not the biggest superyacht owned by any sports tycoon. That honor goes to the 533-foot Eclipse, the second-longest private yacht in the world, which belongs to Russian billionaire and Chelsea F.C. owner Roman Abramovich.

The Bravo Eugenia is also missing the anti-ballistic missile defense systems found in Eclipse—Jones better hope his Dallas Cowboys beat the Los Angeles Rams in their postseason divisional matchup on Saturday.

Where Is Jerry Jones’ Yacht? Vessel Has Swarovski-Studded Furniture

Jerry Jones’ yacht has captured attention worldwide. Read more about the Dallas Cowboys owner’s $250-million yacht and where he houses it.

Dan Clarendon - Author

Feb. 17 2023, Updated 12:58 p.m. ET

How much does it cost to run the Bravo Eugenia annually?

What exciting features does jerry jones' yacht have, is jones' yacht equipped with a helicopter pad, where does jerry jones house 'bravo eugenia'.

Forget the athletes. The real star of the 2020 NFL Draft was Jerry Jones’ yacht , the $250-million Bravo Eugenia . The Dallas Cowboys owner left football fans in awe after they learned he had monitored the draft from a room aboard his 357-foot-long yacht .

At the time, ESPN reporter Don Van Natta Jr. called it a "super-flex," though it's still brought up when discussing billionaires' lifestyles and the lavish purchases they make.

Jones' yacht, constructed by Dutch superyacht builder Oceanco, has since made a splash in media after it dropped anchor outside Elliott Bay Marina in Seattle, Wash. The yacht — named after Jerry’s wife, Gene — has also been spotted docked in Miami and cruising up the Thames River in London, England.

Keep reading for details on the features Jones' boat is equipped with and where he houses it.

On its website , Oceanco says that the Bravo Eugenia is its first LIFE Design yacht. LIFE Design is an approach that “synergizes the elegance and performance of Oceanco’s vessels with a carefully considered approach to their environmental impact,” according to SuperyachtNews .

The Bravo Eugenia has “best-in-class hydrodynamic efficiency, advanced hybrid propulsion, and 100 [square meters] of extra guest space at the waterline level,” according to Oceanco.

The vessel’s other sustainability features includes integrated battery systems, waste heat recovery, and a 30 percent increase in fuel efficiency. For these advancements, the boat received the Yacht Club de Monaco’s first Belle Class Explorer Award for Technology and Innovation.

SuperYachtFan estimates that it costs between $15 million and $20 million to run annually.

With exterior styling by Nuvolari Lenard, the vessel’s proportions evoke a sport yacht more than a superyacht. “This new style will certainly create a new design stream,” said Carlo Nuvolari, a partner at Nuvolari Lenard, according to Forbes .

Reymond Langston handled the yacht's interior design. “We worked very closely with the owner to find the perfect artisans and craftsmen in creating bespoke artworks, fabrics, and signature furniture pieces that reflect the owner’s style and essence and combine to create a warm, inviting environment for all on board,” explained Pascale Reymond, a partner at Reymond Langton Design.

The boat is 357 feet long, with a 53-foot beam. It offers a range of amenities, including two helicopter pads, a tender garage for watercraft, a gym, a beach club, and a spa that features a plunge pool, a rain shower, a sauna, a steam room, and a massage room.

It's also reportedly equipped with Swarovski crystal-studded furniture.

The 79-year-old also owns an ACH145 helicopter, according to Robb Report . Jones told the magazine that he originally got the 10-passenger helicopter for transportation, but it has been a boon to the Cowboys brand, too.

“It lends an aura to the Cowboys, whether we’re circling the stadium and landing in the parking lot on game day or carrying business associates and sponsors,” he explained. “It gets [fans’] attention and keeps them thinking about us. I’m being facetious, but I’m also half-serious here. I’d like to take it and land it on every road in Texas. Or maybe have five, landing in every community across the U.S. It’s a real attention magnet.”

When Jones isn't out enjoying life on the water aboard his superyacht Bravo Eugenia , it's likely docked at Elliott Bay Marina in Seattle. The Cowboys owner might also rely on other docks to house his yacht depending on where he is.

Jerry Jones has a super-duper new yacht that cost him $250 million

250 million yacht

When it comes to thinking about “super” things, Jerry Jones doesn’t limit his imagination to ideas for getting his Dallas Cowboys over the hump and into the Super Bowl. He also looks to the high seas.

There, he will now be setting sail aboard his yacht — a superyacht, natch, that cost him almost as much as the Cowboys did, adjusting for inflation, back in the day. The vessel, christened the Bravo Eugenia in honor of Jones’s wife, Gene, spans 109 meters in length (just a little longer than a football field) and set him back $250 million. He could have found that just by looking beneath the cushions on his couch because the Cowboys, according to Forbes in 2018, are the most valuable sports franchise in the world, worth just under $5 billion. He paid $150 million for the team in 1989 (which The Washington Post’s Neil Greenberg converts to $290 million today) and Forbes lists Jones’s net worth at $6.8 billion, which means $250 million is chump change.

Jones and his family took possession of the superyacht, built by Oceanco in the Netherlands, around the holidays. It boasts two helipads, a spa, gym, beach club and can accommodate 14 passengers and 20 crew members. Its builder claims it is the first to feature what it calls a LIFE (Lengthened, Innovative, Fuel Efficient, Eco Friendly) design.

Jones, like so many billionaires, loves these toys. In 2013, he spent roughly $2 million on The Elegant Lady, a bus that was kind of like AT&T Stadium on wheels, with opulent touches everywhere. It featured three couches, nine TV screens, various concealed coolers, glass shelves for displaying tchotchkes and, of course, a star inlaid in the wooden floor. The bus was involved in a fatal accident in 2016.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones' new $250 million yacht is way more impressive than your yacht

Don't worry, your yacht is still fine.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is having himself quite a 2019 already. Not only are the Cowboys fresh off their first playoff win since 2014, but Jones also bought himself a $250 million yacht. Not too shabby, I guess.

If you're wondering what the hell a $250 million yacht even looks like, well ... look no further. Here's a very fancy video that gives you a good look at the exterior of the massive vessel.

The 358-foot long boat looks more like a battleship than it does a weekend getaway vessel, but I guess that's the kind of flex you can make when your net worth is $6.8 billion.

So what kind of features do you get with a $250 million yacht? According to the Washington Post , the ship boasts two helipads, a spa, gym, a beach club and more. It can accommodate 14 passengers in addition to 20 crew members.

It's worth noting that Jones paid more for the yacht than he did for the Cowboys back in 1989, even with inflation adjustment. The $150 million he paid for the team would be around $209 million today. Considering the Cowboys are now the most valuable sports franchise in the world with an evaluation of just under $5 billion, this boat has a lot to live up to.

Jerry Jones Drafted From Aboard His $250 Million Yacht

  • Author: Dan Gartland

Forget a war room. Jerry Jones has a war yacht.

Ahead of the NFL draft, a lot of attention was paid to the home draft setups of league decision makers. Every day, a new photo emerged of a coach or a GM sitting in front of a Minority Report -like battery of screens, designed to make you think they were taking this draft more seriously than anybody else.

It’s just a conference call, though. All you need is the list of players you’ve been agonizing over for months, a computer to join the league’s Zoom call and one or maybe two phones to work out trades. You can do it from anywhere. In fact, the majority of coaches and GMs drafted from fairly standard home offices. ( Bill Belichick was in the kitchen of his Nantucket vacation home.)

Jerry Jones’s office was far from standard, though. Here’s what viewers saw when Jones’s Cowboys were on the clock at No. 17.

Jerry Jones aboard his $250 million yacht for the 2020 NFL draft

I thought at first that Jerry was in a basement of some kind. Maybe the circular windows led to an indoor pool, or a sauna. They sure looked like portholes but it would be crazy to think he was on a seafaring vessel, right?

Wrong. Jones, as ESPN’s Don Van Natta points out , was aboard his $250 million yacht, the 357-foot Bravo Eugenia.

Jones purchased the ship in late 2018 . It can accommodate 14 guests, plus a crew of 30, and features amenities like a full-sized gym, spa and two helipads.

The ship’s automatic identification system puts it in Miami, docked at Watson Island in Biscayne Bay, where it’s been since March 25.

A lot of people were comparing Jones to a Bond villain when they saw his draft headquarters. That’s ridiculous. He’s just riding out a global pandemic in his quarter-billion-dollar floating hotel, poised to head for international waters if society begins to collapse around him. We haven’t seen that in a Bond movie—yet.

The good, the bad and the ugly of the other home draft setups

Everyone else’s draft rooms were fairly pedestrian, with the exception of Kliff Kingsbury’s ultra-modern living room.

A look at the most expensive superyachts at the Palm Beach yacht show and their insane features, from basketball courts on deck to ice baths and saunas

  • The Palm Beach International Boat Show kicks off later this week.
  • Eight megayachts are expected to be on display for would-be buyers and charter customers.
  • These are the show's biggest yachts — and how many millions of dollars they are going for.

Insider Today

The Palm Beach International Boat Show — the yacht world's flashiest event stateside — is returning this year with over 800 boats for both deep-pocketed potential owners and window shoppers to peruse.

While it's impossible to know what exactly will be on display until the show begins on Thursday, it's expected that eight megayachts — generally defined as ships over 60 meters long — will be docked at the show and at nearby marinas like the Rybovich Marina in the ritzy Florida town.

Some of these are for sale at eye-popping prices, but others are available to if in case you fancy living like a billionaire for a week or two this summer (and if you have six figures to spare on a vacation).

These are the eight biggest yachts that will be at the Palm Beach International Boat Show and nearby marinas, in size order.

Nero: 90.1 meters

Price: From $497,000 a week (charter) Standout features: Pizza ovens, beauty salon, massage room, resistance pool

Reportedly owned by Irish billionaire Denis O'Brien, Nero is modeled after J.P. Morgan's 1930s ship , and was built in 2007 and updated in 2021.

She now boasts a gym on her sundeck with multiple cardio machines and a beauty salon, and has an on-board beautician for manicure, pedicure, hair, and massage needs. There's also an upgraded movie theater, two new pizza ovens, and both a pool and a jacuzzi.

For those who want to go overboard, she has more than a dozen toys, including a waterslide, Jet Ski, and flyboard.

Victorious: 85 meters

Price: From $876,600 a week in the summer and $950,000 a week in the winter Standout features: Hammam (Turkish bath), wine cellar, wood-burning fireplace, children's playroom

Victorious brings a party vibe to the yacht show. With a beach club on board, a wine cellar, a cigar clubroom , multiple bars, and a lounge with a piano, the vessel is made for entertaining. Plus, there's a playroom and movie theater to entertain the kids.

For tamer charter clients, Victorious has a suite of wellness features such as a gym, massage room, beauty salon and hammam, or Turkish bath — perhaps a custom request of her owner, Turkish businessman Vural Ak.

She also boasts a treasure trove of water toys, including Jet Skis, jetsurfs, inflatable kayaks, and scuba equipment.

Casino Royale: 72 meters

Price: TBD Special Features: Infinity pool, helipad, private jacuzzi

Purchased and refitted by car dealer magnate John Staluppi last year, Casino Royale is the latest of his James Bond-inspired yachts (he's also owned an Octopussy and a Skyfall, among others).

Casino Royale has a helipad that turns into a dancefloor, an infinity pool, and a wellness center with a gym and sauna. The owner's cabin has its own deck, which features a private bar and jacuzzi.

However, the boat's price isn't listed, and while she's not necessarily officially for sale, that might change depending on who's prepared to buy, Mr. Bond.

Talisman C: 70.6 meters

Price: $60 million (or from $567,000 a week to charter) Special features: Massage and beauty room, private library

Likely the largest yacht for sale (not just charter) at the show, the Talisman C is a 2011 six-bedroom boat. The owner's cabin comes with an en suite bathroom, dressing room, private library, and crystal chandeliers.

Amenities include a gym, a beauty room, oversized jacuzzi, and a fully equipped bar. Her crew of 19 includes a trained masseuse, and the toy room comes equipped with a wakeboard, eFoil , and WaveRunners.

Joy: 70 meters

Price: From $650,000 a week Special features: Disco club, basketball court, onboard fitness instructor

Superyacht Joy testifies to the fact that owners want as many on-board experiences as they can get.

There's an expansive suite of fitness features, including a basketball court (don't shoot that hoop too hard!), a personal trainer on staff, boxing equipment, and a handful of machines. For post-workout winddowns, there's a spa with a steam room and onboard masseuse. And for entertainment, there's both an outdoor and indoor cinema, and a disco club.

Triumph: 65.4 meters

Price: From $707,600 a week in the summer and $650,000 a week in the winter Special features: Sauna, helipad, banana boat

This 2021 superyacht is named after Triumph motorcycles — a reported favorite of her rumored owner, British businessman Chris Dawson — and even has one on display as an art piece in the upper deck's lounge. The primary suite is 1,400 square feet and has its own study , and there's a sauna, an indoor-outdoor gym, a helipad, and a massage room spread among her six decks.

She boasts an "armada of water toys," including two kinds of Jet Skis, electric water bikes, and a banana boat.

Seanna: 64.5 meters

Price: $54,000,000 (or from $462,000 a week to charter) Special features: marble foyer, movie room, sundeck pool

The recently refurbished Seanna is available for sale and charter.

Her indoor-outdoor gym is on sea level so that passengers can take a dip after a session with the onboard personal trainer. There's also a sundeck pool, a helipad, a two-room massage facility, and, for the more cerebral guests, a library with an electric fireplace.

There are a number of toys on board, including a popular water trampoline and two WaveRunners.

Come Together: 60 meters

Price: $65,000,000 Special Features: DJ and videographer on board, ice bath, sauna

Next-to-new yacht Come Together is looking for a new owner after doing charters during the 2023 season.

The Beatles' influence is evident beyond the yacht's name, with guitars dotting the sky lounge and a crewmember who doubles as a DJ. There's also an outdoor cinema and bar for entertainment and an ice bath and sauna for the day after the party. The owner's suite has a private study and lounge, and each guest cabin has its own ensuite.

The sale includes a number of toys, like Jet Skis, kayaks, and Seabobs.

Miranda Kerr, Evan Spiegel

Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel’s love boat has arrived.

The billionaire couple were spotted aboard their 311-ft mega yacht sailing through the Mediterranean with their two sons, Hart, 3, and Myles, 2, as well as Kerr’s son, Flynn, 10, from her previous marriage to Orlando Bloom .

Kerr, 38, sizzled in an orange bikini on deck while embracing Spiegel, 31, from behind. The couple, who have been married since 2017 , also entertained guests who swam in the sea water near the ship.

Kerr and Spiegel’s luxury ride — a hybrid eco yacht — took three years to build and is powered by a diesel-electric propulsion system. It also comes complete with nine guest rooms, three pools and a spa.

The billionaire boat comes complete with activities like jet skis, paddleboards and more.

Photos show Spiegel wearing safety gear while tearing through waves on a jet ski. In another photo, Kerr is paddle boarding through the water while fully dressed.

On Friday, the whole family hopped in one of the yacht’s tenders so they could visit Porquerolles Island on the Côte d’Azur. Once there, Spiegel took pictures of Kerr and the children as they explored a beautiful beach together.

Joining the supermodel and the Snapchat co-founder on their maiden voyage are fellow model Joan Smalls and her boyfriend Henry Junior Chalhoub.

Mark Zuckerberg’s $300million ‘birthday present’ mega yacht arrives in US – it even has its own $30m ‘wingman’ boat

  • Isabelle Hajek , Freelance News & Blogs Reporter

FACEBOOK founder Mark Zuckerberg has shown off his wealth at sea, bringing his multimillion-dollar yacht to the United States just weeks before his birthday.

After rumors the billionaire was looking to invest in a yacht began circulating, Zuckerberg was quick to snag a $300 million mega yacht complete with its own $30 million partner boat.

Mark Zuckerberg's $300 million mega yacht arrived in port just weeks before the billionaire's 40th birthday

He was seen in the Netherlands touring Project 1010, a Russian-commissioned mega yacht, in early March.

Due to sanctions involved in importing the vessel to the United States, delivery of Zuckerberg's multimillion-dollar boat was delayed.

It was first spotted in home waters on March 20.

The 387-foot-long vessel docked at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with its chrome finish reflecting a harsh sun.

Project 1010 made its maiden voyage from the Netherlands after receiving special permission to be imported just weeks ahead of Zuckerberg's birthday, which is on May 14, raising questions about whether it could be a gift to mark the occasion.

The mega vessel is not far off the size of Amazon mogul Jeff Bezos' $500 million 417-foot tall mega yacht, Koru, which was spotted in the same state in November 2023.

The Abeona, his mega yacht's support vessel, a 264-foot garage to hold Bezos' luxury cars, private helicopter, and jet skis, was docked at a slip four miles away.

To put into perspective the additional costs Zuckerberg is looking at, Bezos reportedly bankrolled a $16,500 per week bill for Koru to stay at the port, part of the $25 million in annual costs the ship will rack up.

But cost is no object to 39-year-old Zuckerberg, as he was the youngest billionaire to make the top 10 wealthiest people in the world list.

In 2021, Zuckerberg was reportedly worth $108 billion, an amount that rose to $138.4 billion by January 2024.

Zuckerberg is hardly known for conserving his money when faced with large purchases.

In December 2021, it was reported that Zuckerberg was breaking ground on an estimated $270 million, 57,000-square-foot Doomsday bunker.

Plans for the structure include filling the football field-sized space with 30 bedrooms, elevators, a swimming pool, sauna, tennis court, and full-sized gym.

EARNING $48,328 - MINUTE BY MINUTE

While a $330 million purchase might sound outlandish to most, especially when coupled with a $270 million bunker, Zuckerberg can make that money back in about two months.

The Meta, formerly Facebook, founder reportedly makes between $6 million and $12 million each day, equating to an estimated yearly earning of more than $3 billion.

In 2018, Zuckerberg earned roughly $1.7 million an hour, according to previous Business Insider calculations.

By 2020, he ranked as the fourth richest person on the planet.

Crime and public safety | bay area, california both lose jobs in february as hiring surge halts, crime and public safety, crime and public safety | raid uncovers 1 million bullets, hundreds of guns and a shooting range inside richmond man’s home, authorities say, it all started after he allegedly brought a loaded gun to a medical appointment.

Author

RICHMOND – When authorities showed up to a home here recently, they expected to confiscate a limited number of weapons belonging to a 68-year-old man who allegedly threatened hospital workers and later brought a loaded firearm to a medical visit. The gun had been seen in his waistband during an examination, authorities said.

They instead discovered a huge arsenal at the East Richmond Heights home of Lawrence R. Hansen, according to new court records. Inside, police found one million rounds of ammunition, more than 250 guns — including at least 60 assault rifles — as well as silencers and homemade explosives, authorities say.

The basement of the residence, which public records show is on Doremus Avenue and not far from churches and a preschool, had its own shooting range, where it appeared that weapons had been fired from close range at phone books and dictionaries, authorities said.

Hansen is now in custody at Martinez Detention Facility and faces 21 weapons-related charges following his arraignment on Monday.

Last year, a judge had ordered Hansen to surrender all his weapons as a result of a workplace violence restraining order a local doctor filed in Contra Costa court against him. Prosecutors say he had threatened medical workers even before bringing a loaded firearm to a hospital in September.

Richmond police arrested him again on Sunday on a warrant, jail records show.

Investigators were still working this week to evaluate all the evidence, including testing homemade explosives allegedly found in Hansen’s home. In addition to dozens of assault rifles, police also removed several machine guns, some dating back to World War II and the Vietnam War, authorities said.

Prosecutors have charged him with 18 felonies — most related to possessing assault weapons — and three misdemeanors, including a concealed weapon charge for allegedly carrying the gun he brought to the hospital last fall.

He has pleaded not guilty, is being held in jail on no bail and is next scheduled to appear in court on March 27.
