Day 1: check-in.

After going through the boarding procedures starting at 17.00 at the marina in St George's, Grenada, we are ready to set sail! After about an hour of sailing, we reach Moliniere Point to anchor and enjoy our first evening aboard the catamaran.

After a good breakfast on board, we set sail for Ronde Island, where we arrive after a sail of about four hours. This private island is the ideal place for swimming, diving and other water activities to discover its depths: the 'Sisters Rocks' are one of the most famous snorkelling spots.

Today we hoist the sails and head to Carriacou: a timeless island, far from the hectic world and rich in tradition. Carriacou (Karry-a-cou), meaning 'Coral Reef Island', is without doubt an excellent destination for diving and snorkelling, with clear waters, pristine coral reefs and magical beaches. After about 3 hours of sailing, we will arrive just in time at Tyrell Bay for a lunch in the roadstead and enjoy the afternoon exploring this vibrant island.

Today you can spend the morning having a stroll around the city centre or visiting one of the main attractions of the island. Later we will reach Clifton, a small town with little shops and restaurants on Union Island. This will be the first stop before our entrance to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, where you can take kitesurfing lessons, scuba diving or simply explore the small village with its open-air market.

Today we cast off our moorings for the Tobago Cays, one of the most beautiful destinations in the Caribbean. This small archipelago, consisting of five uninhabited islands connected by a pristine coral reef, forms a magnificent marine park and is home to numerous species including sea turtles, corals and colourful fish. It is considered one of the most beautiful moorings in the Caribbean, and was also the filming location for Pirates of the Caribbean and the Curse of the Black Pearl. A true oasis of peace, where you can enjoy breathtaking scenery of white beaches and turquoise waters.

Today we will stay at the Tobago Cays, to fully enjoy the wonder of this marine park. Here you can choose whether to spend the day at one of its idyllic beaches and relax in the shade of a coconut palm tree, or to explore its exceptional seabed: the Tobago Cays are home to the most beautiful coral reef in the Caribbean and are a true snorkelling paradise. During this unique experience, you can swim among colourful fish, rays, and especially sea turtles. For those who adventure, it is also possible to surf and kitesurf. In the evening, we will have dinner on board in a spectacular bay where we will spend the night.

This morning we cast off our moorings in the direction of Bequia, an uncontaminated pearl of the Grenadine archipelago. The first stop will be Port Elizabeth, the capital and central point of the island. After lunch, you can go ashore for a stroll among fresh fruit vendors, quaint cafés and little shops, until you reach Belmont Walkway or Fort Hamilton for a breathtaking view of Admiralty Bay, where we will anchor.

After visiting Bequia, we sail towards Mustique. After about three hours of sailing, we will reach this small, exclusive island, which nevertheless has a lot to offer. You can do a lot of activities: from scuba diving to sailing, from tennis clubs to exploring the island on horseback. The beaches are wonderful, especially on the south coast, where the crystal-clear waters are calmer. Before dinner, make a mandatory stop at the legendary Basil's Bar, the cultural heart of the island for fifty years, for a drink overlooking the sea at sunset.

After breakfast, we set sail for Mayareau, the smallest island of the Grenadine archipelago. This unspoilt pearl of the Caribbean is one of the few islands that still retains its original Caribbean charm. One of the island's most beautiful vantage points is undoubtedly Saltwhistle Bay: white sandy beaches with tall palm trees in the background, azure waters in which to dive and swim among brightly coloured fish to discover the wonderful coral reef. You can also climb the hill to admire the breathtaking view of the Tobago Cays.

After spending two wonderful days exploring Mayreau, we cast off our moorings and move on to Union Island. A short sail and we anchor in Chatham Bay: an enchanting thin crescent of white sand with green hills behind it. The calm turquoise waters are perfect for snorkelling or paddle boarding. We will spend the night in the roadstead.

Today we will head to the neighbouring island of Petite Martinique. The many beaches, all different and beautiful, offer the opportunity to do many water activities including surfing, diving, snorkelling, or simply to take a rejuvenating dip and relax in the wonderful crystal-clear Caribbean waters.

Once the sails are hoisted early in the morning, we will set sail for Grenada. After about 6 hours of sailing, we will arrive at Happy Hill, where we will spend the evening.

Today you can enjoy the morning at anchor, go for a swim or kayak ride, or relax aboard the catamaran. Those who prefer to go ashore can choose to take a tour of the island and stroll through the colourful streets of St. George's, Grenada's capital. Christmas dinner is planned at the Port Louis Marina.

Day 15: Check-out

Disembarkation is scheduled for 09:00 hours at St. George's Marina, Grenada.

The itinerary may be subject to variations based on weather conditions, safety conditions and the technical assessments of the captain of the boat. This program is intended as indicative and not binding.

This morning we cast off our moorings in the direction of Bequia, a pearl of the Grenadine archipelago still little travelled by the tourist routes. The first stop will be Port Elizabeth, the capital and central point of the island. After lunch you can go ashore for a stroll among fresh fruit vendors, quaint cafes and small shops, until you reach Belmont Walkway or Fort Hamilton for a breathtaking view of Admiralty Bay, where we will anchor.

After breakfast, we set sail for Mayareau, the smallest island of the Grenadine archipelago. This unspoilt pearl of the Caribbean is one of the few islands that still retains its original Caribbean charm. One of the island's most beautiful vantage points is undoubtedly Saltwhistle Bay: white sandy beaches with tall palm trees in the background, blue waters in which to dive and swim among brightly coloured fish to discover the wonderful coral reef. We will spend the night in the roadstead.

This morning we will leave very early to reach the island of St. Vincent. We will have breakfast while sailing and after about 7 hours we will moor at Wallilabou Anchorage, a spectacular wild bay on the west coast, where scenes from the film Pirates of the Caribbean were filmed. Here you can snorkel and scuba dive to see the spectacular coral reef, very close to shore, and lots of tropical fish, corals, sea anemones and sea urchins.

We depart at dawn again today, and after skirting the imposing mountains of St. Vincent, we reach the open sea in the direction of St. Lucia. Once we reach the island, we moor at Marigot Bay, a quiet little bay with green palm trees surrounding it and where we can enjoy freshly opened coconuts from the locals. The view from the top is magnificent!

From Marigot Bay with a short sail of only two hours, we move today to Rodney Bay, a horseshoe-shaped bay, the tourist centre of St. Lucia. Located on the northern coast and bordered by a wide bay of white sand, its beach is considered one of the most beautiful and lively locations on the island. You can choose to anchor in front of Pigeon Island or head straight to the marina with all its convenient facilities. From here you can go ashore and explore this beautiful island: visit rum distilleries, waterfalls and even a volcano drive. Worthy of a visit are Reduit Beach, one of the island's most famous beaches with soft white sand, calm waters and breathtaking views of Pigeon Island, and Gros Islet, a small fishing village north of the bay with plenty of small shops and local eateries where you can enjoy local food.

After two relaxing days in St. Lucia, we embark on the last leg of this journey to Martinique. On the way, we will stop in front of St. Anne's for lunch before arriving in the afternoon at our final destination, Le Marin. Last evening on board and mooring in the marina.

After the last breakfast on board, disembarkation is scheduled for 09.00 hrs.

After completing the embarkation procedures, we set sail at sunset to St. Anne's. This delightful resort on the south coast of the island is considered one of the most paradisiacal places in Martinique. Although it is a much-visited tourist destination, it has managed to retain its charm and authenticity: Caribbean beaches of white sand and coconut palms, turquoise waters in which to dive and dive to discover marvellous seabeds, and a quaint fishing village of colourful cottages. We will have dinner on board and spend the first night at anchor.

Just time for a morning swim and a good breakfast and we set sail for St. Lucia! After about 7 hours of sailing south, between the beautiful coral reefs of the Caribbean, we reach Soufrière, a quiet Caribbean village at the foot of the Piton mountains. The scenery that opens up once in front of the bay is breathtaking. Worthy of a visit are the Diamond Botanical Gardens, which can be reached by bike along the cycle paths that wind through the sugar cane plantation of Anse Mamin.

Today we cast off our moorings early in the morning to reach Bequia, our port of call to enter the state of St Vincent and the Grenadines. The first stop will be Port Elizabeth, the capital and central point of the island, where we will stay for the night. The following day you can go ashore for a stroll among fresh fruit vendors, quaint cafes and small local shops, until you reach Belmont Walkway or Fort Hamilton for a breathtaking view of Admiralty Bay, where we will anchor.

After spending two relaxing days in Bequia, we move on with a short morning sail to the Tobago Cays. Its marine park is considered one of the best snorkelling spots in the entire Caribbean, surrounded by a vast horseshoe-shaped coral reef, turquoise waters and white sandy beaches. During this unique experience, you can swim among colourful fish, rays, sharks and especially sea turtles. For the more adventurous, it is also possible to surf and kitesurf, propelled by gentle tropical winds. To end the day on a high note, we will have dinner on board the catamaran in a spectacular bay where we will spend the night.

In the morning we will stay in the Tobago Cays to fully enjoy this magnificent paradise on earth. After lunch on board we will reach Clifton, a small town with small shops and restaurants on Union Island, in less than an hour. Here you will have the opportunity to arrange kitesurfing lessons, scuba diving or simply explore the small village with its open-air market.

Only five miles of sailing northwards separate us from Mayreau, the smallest island in the Grenadine archipelago.

Today we cast off our moorings early in the morning to reach Young Island Cut. We will have breakfast en route to arrive just in time for lunch at our mooring. In the afternoon you can enjoy the turquoise waters for a swim to Young Island beach, or a short tender ride up the steep hill to Duvernette Island and watch the sunset over the archipelago.

Before lunch we will set off for Wallilabou Anchorage, a spectacular wild bay on the west coast, where scenes from the film Pirates of the Caribbean were filmed. Here you can snorkel and scuba dive to see the spectacular coral reef, very close to the shore, and lots of tropical fish, corals, sea anemones and sea urchins.

After two days of relaxation in this magnificent postcard-perfect location, we embark on the last leg of this journey to Martinique. During navigation, we will stop in front of St. Anne, before arriving in the afternoon at our final destination, Le Marin. Last evening on board and mooring in the marina.

Today we will start our navigation north towards Saint Pierre, the former capital of Martinique, which is worth a visit for its cultural and historical heritage. Here we will see evidence of a past marked by the violent volcanic eruption of Mount Pelée on 8 May 1902, which destroyed the city. We will stop in front of the long grey sand beach with the mountains in the background, where you can go ashore for a sunset aperitif.

We raise anchor with the first light of day, heading for Dominica! We reach Portsmouth, in the northwestern part of the island, in the early afternoon to go ashore and take a stroll around the city centre. This city offers culture, nature and relaxation on the beach. The Cabrits National Park, once an active volcano, is a park consisting of tropical forests and is home to Fort Shirley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also worth a stop is Purple Turtle Beach, for a dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea.

Once again we cast off our moorings in the morning to reach Guadeloupe. In the early afternoon we arrive at Deshaies, a beautiful fishing village tucked between the sea and the mountains that has managed to retain its authentic charm. The immense beach of Grande Anse, perfect for an afternoon of relaxation in the shade of a coconut palm tree, and its botanical garden are among the island's main attractions.

Today we move to another island, or rather another state: Antigua. We arrive in the early afternoon at the famous Nelson's Dockyard, named after the most famous Royal Navy officer in British history. This site is the most important centre of the island in terms of heritage, environment and boating, and is home to an important shipyard, Fort Berkeley and the Shirley Heights Lookout, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the entire bay.

In the morning, with a short sail of about two hours, we move to the west coast of Antigua, where you can see some of the most renowned beaches in the Caribbean. We head straight for Hawksbil Beach, on the Five Islands peninsula. This long strip of white beach is arguably Antigua's most famous beach, in a wild and natural stretch of coastline, ideal for swimming and snorkelling among the Caribbean reefs. In the afternoon, however, you can move further south to Fyres Beach: a beach of fine white sand, in a completely wild environment far from population centres where there are just a couple of bars in the vicinity, is certainly ideal for those seeking relaxation. After a sunset aperitif, we dine on board and moor at Jolly Harbour.

After a good, hearty breakfast, we hoist the sails to head for Barbuda. We will spend the afternoon discovering the most picturesque bays and beaches on the island, with crystal-clear waters perfect for diving to discover the seabed inhabited by colourful fish and home to a wonderful unspoilt coral reef. The snorkelling equipment is ready! In the evening, we move on to an unforgettable anchorage in front of a pink-hued beach.

Today we will spend the whole day discovering the wonderful island of Barbuda, often described as the 'sister' island of Antigua. This evening we will have an early dinner to weigh anchor and set off on a long overnight sail. The crew will ensure that the trip is a pleasant one and, for those who wish, you can take part in the watch and spend an unforgettable night sailing under the starry Caribbean Sea sky.

We will arrive in St. Barth early in the morning and, after breakfast, you can go ashore to visit Gustavia and its centre. Here, a day of culture but also of shopping awaits us. You can decide whether to go around the island in a minibus and stop whenever you like to visit the main monuments, to stop at some interesting shops, or you can decide to walk around this town and walk through the palm-lined streets. In the early afternoon, we set sail for a three-hour sail to Philipsburg, St. Martin, capital of the Dutch half of the island.

Last day of the cruise and we take it easy. During the approximately one-hour sail to Simpson Bay on the south coast of St. Martin, we sail along the island, stop for a swim or take out an SUP to relax in the beautiful turquoise waters. At dinner time, we meet back at our starting point in the Marina and go ashore for a great dinner.

Day 11: Check-out

Disembarkation is scheduled for 09:00 hours at Simpson's Bay Marina.

Embarkation is scheduled for late afternoon at the Simpson's Bay marina in St. Martin. After the allocation of cabins, we will enjoy our first dinner on board our catamaran.

We weigh anchor for a morning sail to the island of St. Eustatius. We arrive in its capital, Oranjestad, not to be confused with Aruba's capital of the same name. The lower town has throughout history been the island's major port centre and is also home to its most beautiful and renowned beaches. The upper town, on the other hand, is the residential area of the capital, where you can visit Fort Oranje, a 17th century fortress whose cannons are still preserved. Alternatively, you can stay on board and relax or take a dip in its crystal-clear waters before an excellent dinner on board.

After about three hours of sailing, in the early afternoon we reach Basseterre, on the southwest coast of St. Kitts. This former French colony is the capital of the Caribbean state and despite its small size has a lot to offer tourists visiting it: historical and cultural heritage, lush green hills, Caribbean beaches and a crystal-clear sea perfect for snorkelling, full of fish of all kinds and colours. You can go ashore to make the most of this island both during the day and in the evening.

Today we will remain in St. Kitts, but will move on with a short sail to Whitehouse Bay, on the island's southern coast. Despite the rocky shoreline of this bay, it is a perfect spot for snorkelling. From here, you can easily reach one of the most beautiful beaches in St. Kitts: Cockleshell Bay, powdery white sand, sparkling blue seas and a stunning view of neighbouring Nevis. Enjoy live music and cocktails by the sea in front of an unforgettable sunset.

In the early afternoon we set sail for the neighbouring island of Nevis, and more specifically we will head for Charlestown. On the way we will stop at Oualie Beach, a quiet, golden sandy beach. In the late afternoon, you can go ashore and take a stroll through the streets of the village, which is rich in history and culture harking back to its past as a British colony.

This morning we will cast off our moorings very early to return to St. Barth. During the voyage we will be served breakfast on board and in the early afternoon we will anchor in front of Gustavia. We will spend the rest of the day between dives, dives and relaxing baths, before having dinner on board the catamaran and possibly going down for a cocktail in one of the town's bars.

Before returning to St. Martin, we head to Le Colombier, a wonderful secluded beach that offers one of the most beautiful views of the island of St. Barth. It offers a calm sea with clear turquoise waters, ideal for snorkelling. Being protected by a nature reserve, this spot allows you to dive to discover the underwater life: you will swim among green sea turtles, stingrays and a myriad of colourful fish that take refuge among the rocks that line the bay. In the late afternoon we will return to Simpson Bay Marina and spend the last evening in the company.

Day 8: Check-out

The immense beach of Grande Anse, perfect for an afternoon of relaxation in the shade of a coconut palm tree, and its botanical garden are among the island's main attractions.

In the morning we reach, with a short two-hour sail, the magnificent Cousteau Reserve, a protected underwater reserve named after the man who pushed for the protection of this biodiversity-rich marine site. It is the most famous diving spot in Guadeloupe, with shallow waters teeming with corals, turtles and tropical fish. We spend the afternoon between relaxing swims and diving to explore the seabed, before moving to a protected bay for the night.

After a short stop in front of the town of Boulliante, we will reach the beautiful Iles des Saintes, a small archipelago of volcanic islets in the middle of the sea between Guadeloupe and Dominica. The two main islands, Terre de Huat and Terre de Bas, offer picture-postcard beaches with turquoise waters and villages of Creole huts that have retained their authenticity. We will spend the night at anchor in the bay of Grande Anse, one of the most picturesque on the island.

We set sail at anchor in the direction of Marie Galante, off the coast of Guadeloupe, an island not yet much frequented by tourism. We will reach one of the beaches to the north of Saint Louis: Anse Mays, Anse Canot or Plage de Vieux Fort, three picture-postcard beaches with white sand and crystal-clear water and lush green vegetation in the background. Here you can go ashore and enjoy the tranquillity of these veritable desert paradises.

In the morning we depart for Dominica. We reach Portsmouth, in the northwestern part of the island, in the early afternoon to go ashore and take a walk around the city centre. From Portsmouth we cast off our moorings and move further south to Roseau, the capital of Dominica. Here you can go ashore and explore the city, which is rich in history and culture. Take a couple of hours to visit its markets, shops and museums or simply stroll through its quaint streets. Before re-boarding for dinner, enjoy a sunset aperitif at one of its beach clubs.

Early in the morning we will leave Dominica and head to Saint Pierre, the former capital of Martinique, which is worth a visit for its cultural and historical heritage. Here, evidence is preserved of a past marked by the violent volcanic eruption of Mount Pelée on 8 May 1902, which destroyed the city. We will stop in front of the long grey sand beach with the mountains in the background, where you can go ashore for a sunset aperitif.

After a hearty breakfast and a refreshing dip, we will sail along the west coast of Martinique. During the voyage, we will stop for lunch in front of its characteristic capital, Fort de France, and then resume sailing to St. Anne. We will choose one of its picture postcard beaches to spend our last night at sea.

We will devote our last day to complete relaxation, swimming and diving in the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea. After lunch we will resume sailing to reach our final destination, Le Marin. Last evening on board and mooring in the marina.

IMPORTANT - Please note our NEW schedule now has ferry service departing from & returning to Jolly Harbour on Tuesday's & Thursday's.

The Barbuda Express company, operating since 2004, was the first ferry service established in our twin island nation. For over two decades, we have welcomed over 100,000 tourists and been the go-to transportation for Antiguans and Barbudans.

We have a fleet of 3 vessels: the Barbuda Express catamaran, our gem and very first vessel, as well as the Typhoon Express and Leeward Express , monohulls which carry both passengers and large cargo.

Our wave-piercing vessels have a journey time of approximately 90 minutes each way between the islands. Barbuda is a magical destination and a beautiful experience for any traveller. The island is distiguished by its flat geography, white and pink sand beaches, azure seas, Frigate Bird Sanctuary, and miles of nature. Although a must see, the journey to Barbuda can be strenuous given the time on the sea.

The changing weather patterns can sometimes result in rough seas, causing motion sickness to some persons. In the interest of safety for all passengers and crew, our Captains constantly monitor the weather conditions and may cancel trips whenever necessary. However, our vessels are used interchangeably for a safe comfortable journey.

This mountainous island harbors dense and lush rainforests, waterfalls, and hot springs. While sailing along its coasts, you might also observe dolphins and whales during certain times of the year.

Antigua and Barbuda

A duo of islands with complementary charms

Antigua and Barbuda are two islands located about 100 km north of Guadeloupe. Antigua is renowned for its 365 beaches, while Barbuda stands out for its bird sanctuary and turquoise lagoons. Together, they offer a variety of landscapes and activities to satisfy all tastes. Antigua: Don't miss the visit to Nelson's Dockyard, a historic port classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Barbuda: Explore the Codrington Bird Sanctuary, home to thousands of frigatebirds and brown boobies.

Les Îles de la Petite-Terre

A preserved natural gem to discover by catamaran

Located off the Pointe des Châteaux, Les Îles de la Petite-Terre are a protected natural site accessible only by boat. They offer wild and untouched landscapes as well as exceptional marine fauna. During your stop, you can encounter iguanas, sea turtles, and a multitude of birds.

In conclusion, sailing by catamaran from Guadeloupe is a unique experience that allows you to discover dream destinations while enjoying the comfort and freedom that this type of navigation offers. So, don't hesitate any longer—hoist the sails and embark on your adventure!
