Open for dinner only, Yachtsman Steakhouse serves up steak, seafood, and sides. This is a signature restaurant that tries to create an atmosphere, so expect high prices and to adhere to a minimal dress code.

What’s it like inside?

Wooden beams, white linens, and a view of the Yacht Club’s sandy lagoon make Yachtsman feel light and airy rather than dark and masculine like the typical steakhouse. Beef is the star, of course, but there are other options on the menu.

French for “Jewel”, Bijou is a young, aged goat cheese in the style of a Crottin de Chavignol. It has a soft and tangy interior with a nutty, wrinkled rind. We marinate the Bijou in Tazmanian Peppercorns, Thyme, and J. Lablanc Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Cabot Clothbound Cheddar- Muslin wrapped and brushed with lard, this cheddar ages for a minimum of 10 months in the Cellars at Jasper Hill. Old English in style with the flavor of tangy sweet caramel milk and a nutty finish. It is accompanied by Heirloom Apple Butter

Fiore Sardo- A cheese with ancient origins thought to date back to The Bronze Age in history. Its savor is nut-like with notes of burned caramel and smoke, imparted by fires that warm the huts the cheese is made in on the island of Sardinia. It is paired with pickled grapes.

Pavé d’Affinois de Brebis- Made in the Rhône-Alps region of France, Brebis is a pure sheep’s milk cheese with a creamy texture, downy crust and mildly sweet pâté. Its savor is rich and yields a buttery, toasted nut finish. It is accompanied by honeycomb.

Rogue River Blue- The Rogue River Blue is naturally rinded. This aging process imparts flavors from the Rogue River Valley. These naturally occurring molds from the terroir impart flavors of wild ripened berries, hazelnuts and pears. It is preserved in grape leaves soaked in pear brandy. Yachtsman Steakhouse is a high-end dining establishment that is renowned for its premium steaks, fresh seafood, and free-range chicken.

Dining Overview

The restaurant features a nautical, New England-inspired theme that complements the overall aesthetic of the Yacht Club Resort. The dining room has a craftsman-inspired design, catering to a variety of tastes with an array of dishes, incredible sides, and amazing, cut-in-house steaks.

Disney Parks Mogul Faces Eviction, Evidence Confirms Location Closure

One of the biggest restaurant moguls who runs a lot of Disney locations that are beloved by millions is facing some serious problems which has now led to an eviction notice.

When you go to Disney parks around the world, from Walt Disney World to Disneyland (and even Disneyland Paris), there will be some dining options that reappear. A lot of these options are found in the Disney Springs / Downtown Disney area and while they are not owned by Disney, they are renting the space on Disney property.

In Walt Disney World, for example, Robert Earl owns many locations, including Planet Hollywood, Earl of Sandwich, Chicken Guy, and more. While these spots are not Disney, they have ingrained themselves into the Disney space within the theme parks for so long that many associate them with the House of Mouse.

Robert Earl teamed up with Guy Fieri in 2018 to open the initial Chicken Guy location in Disney Springs.

“I was spending $30 million after a very successful 20 years at Planet Hollywood Disney, and I was upgrading every category, so I wanted to embellish with something Planet had never done before and bring in a celebrity chef,” Earl said in an interview with Restaurant Nation News. “And the relationship took off. He was amazing. It was like having a movie star in the building. We became friends, and we vowed to work together.”

Chicken Guy! was designed to be multiplied, Earl said, but he declined to reveal growth plans going forward.

“I want to have a really successful opening at Disney Springs. We have a knock-out location,” he said. “I think we will grow very rapidly once we’ve tested everything.”

The average check, with a side and beverage, will likely be around $11, said Earl, which he described as “extremely competitive.”

Fast-forward to now, six years later, and you can almost always guarantee a line out the door of the Disney Springs location. With such popularity in Orlando, Guy and Earl opened a second location in Winter Park, a spot located closer to the Downtown area of Orlando, as well as closer to Universal Orlando Resort. This location opened on December 2, 2021.

While it would have been assumed that the location would have thrived in its second go around, it clearly has not as the location is facing eviction after not paying for months of rent. As reported by Click Orlando, “Nearly $40,000 in overdue rent could lead to the eviction of Guy Fieri-branded Chicken Guy! restaurant from its Winter Park location, according to court documents.

The owner of the property at 818 S. Orlando Ave., DKM Winter Park SNS, LLC., filed a complaint for commercial tenant eviction and damages on Tuesday.”

The entities named as defendants in the document are Chicken Guy, LLC; Earl of Sandwich, LLC; and Planet Hollywood, LLC, all of which are under the leadership of hospitality mogul Robert Earl. As per the complaint, the landlord signed a lease agreement with the defendants on December 9, 2021. However, on February 15, 2024, DKM Winter Park SNS, LLC issued a three-day notice demanding payment of overdue rent.

Then, another three-day notice was issued on March 4, requiring the defendants to either settle the outstanding rent or vacate the premises and return the property to the landlord. As of that date, the complaint states that the defendants owed over $38,507 in past-due rent.

Robert Earl is also facing another lawsuit from MrBeast for his Virtual Dining Concepts which had ghost kitchens of MrBeast burger. MrBeast “accused the company of causing “irreparable harm” to his brand with its MrBeast Burger line of ghost kitchens.”

While it is not the Disney Springs location that is up for eviction, this is certainly not good for the company, and with this new debt, there is a chance of the other locations suffering as well.

Pleasantly surprised, service is good so is the food. Great selection of Fusion food, a mixture of Italian, Japanese, European, Asian etc. A pleasantly nice dining experience, highly recommended, a must try!

Had to wait for the food for 1.5 hours and then another 20 minutes for the check. Finally called for the manager and he offered... a 10% discount as a compensation. Simply pathetic! The food is mediocre at best. Not bad per se, but one... would expect something better considering the prices. There are many places to eat in area that are much better. Avoid this one at all costs. Food is very expensive,very pretentious, doesn't worth that money. Portions are very small. We ordered ravioli and there were 4! Four raviolis! For almost 15 euros. Then we asked to bring us dessert menu but nothing, they didn't even bothered, so we payed and left... without dessert. Very poor service for that price. More

This is a very good restaurant. The food is really good, maybe the best in Moscow. The service is also good. The view from the restaurant is great. The prices are very high.

Visited this lovely restaurant with a friend of mine. It was relaxingly warm August evening - so the place on the river seemed like a good idea. We came quite early and the restaurant was not full. The hostesses kindly offered several places to sit... and we chose to sit on the sofas. We had some wine, which was good. We struggled a bit when deciding about the food as few options (scallops) were not available. Fish on ice on display did not look very fresh. To be honest it was an unusually hot August and it is probably understandable that some see food options were not available. However, we did manage to order something and sat waiting and looking onto the river. My long-legged friend struggled sitting at the low sofa and the manager noticed that, offering as a very good, proper table beside the open window. It was nice touch and I was very pleased by their polite observations and immediate reaction to solve the problem. Food was quite good and presentation was perfect. Perhaps I can something about the food, but 1 visit is not enough to criticize or make a definitive opinion. Overall, quality place, which of course, does not come cheap. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. More

Had a large group dinner here. Food was above average and service quite good. The real attraction is the view of Moscow from the river on a nice night. Great place for a larger group dinner. More

The luxurious atmosphere of this place, the view and the location make it quite outstanding. We had dinner here with friends and the dishes were amazing, accompanied by a chilled bottle of Chablis, it really made me feel as if it was a part of... the classic Russian movie. More
