We had a birthday party onboard the Regency tonight. The entire crew were amazing. Francini was our director and made sure everything was set up and all of our needs were met. What can I say except that this company provides excellence in everything that they do! I rarely find such genuine care and comfort from the beginning of the process to the end – I felt very taken care of and valued. In addition, the party was better than I expected! The service was amazing, the food was outstanding – I am still getting comments even months after – my guests are still telling me what a great time they had and asking when are we going to do it again! All of my guests (and me too) loved cruising into the sunset with cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres on the sky deck, dining at dusk with the great cafe lighting that Asdruval Party Rentals provided and then dancing the night away to awesome music by Brad at Rhythm City!

My cousins rented a Yacht for my Aunt’s 70th birthday party. We launched from Marina Del Ray and the boat did a loop around the marina for 5 hours. It goes by pretty fast especially since you’ll be enjoying dinner, entertainment, and when available, the open bar. The staff were amazing and the bartender kept up with all the orders with no hiccup. Years ago, my other cousin had a reception on another type of Yacht for their wedding reception. Maybe one day I’ll throw something on a Yacht and invite my closest friends. I think this is a better way to throw a special party than the usual land locked location.

I had my 50th birthday party on October 27th 2017. Erin was my party planner she made sure everything ran smoothly I had no worries. The decorations were beautiful I had a gatsby-themed party. I wish I could name everyone who helped on the yacht. I had 130 guess on the DANDEANA yacht all my guests were attended to no problems. The food was delicious the drinks were great the service was fabulous. This is my second yacht charter with this company and they never seem to fail me. Thank you everyone who helped for me to have a grand 50th birthday even the ones behind the scenes, I appreciate you all I’ll see you at my next event thank you everyone. Captain was great; thank you Jeffrey for greeting everyone. The casino on board was perfect, my band was great, my DJ was great. Thanks again I will never forget this day.

We held my Mom’s 70th birthday here on 1028 and we had an amazing time. The boat was gorgeous, very clean, modern and elegant. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Our planner, Erin, was very helpful. She was flexible and accommodated all of my needs, and gave great advice given her experience. I would absolutely recommend this boat for any of your parties.

BELLA IS ONE OF THE FEW LEGAL CHARTER VESSELS IN MARINA DEL REY!

This means that we have all of the required safety equipment on board!

Bella is examined by the US Coast Guard annually to ensure compliance and safety.

Pick Up/Drop Off Location:  Behind El Torito at 13715 Fiji Way, Marina Del Rey, CA  90292. (called Dock 55)  When facing the water, it’s located to the right of El Torito restaurant.

Can we bring our own food aboard?

Yes!  We have a fridge, freezer, ice maker, cooler and grill. 

Plenty of room for whatever you're looking to drink and snack on.

Can we bring alcohol aboard Bella?

It would be weird if you didn't. As long as guests are over 21, you are welcome to bring and drink whatever you like.

*Please no Red Wine or Cranberry juice. If you drink, do it responsibly*

Is Bella kid-friendly?

Absolutely, guests of all ages are welcome.

If anyone has a tendency to get motion sick or sea sick, please be sure to take something ahead of time.

Is Bella dog-friendly?

While we love our dogs, it is not appropriate to have them aboard.  Space is limited and they can shed a lot.

Out of respect to ALL guests, we ask that you leave your furry friend at home, ESA's included.

How many people can we have in our group?

12 Max.  1-6 guests for our Standard Contract or 7-12 guests for a Bare-Boat Contract. Captain and Crew do not count in the number of passengers. We're happy to help you with the details, please e-mail us [email protected]

Can we smoke aboard Bella?

NO.  Just below your seats are 350 gallons of diesel fuel, plus we want to keep the boat nice for a long time to come, and burn holes are hard to repair.  You can vape responsibly.

What about weed, man?

Since we will be on federal waters and marijuana is not federally legal, that's a big NO .  You can leave the drugs at home... you're going to have a great time without them.

Have a question before booking, cancellation  policy + damage.

Late Arrivals: The City controls Dock 55 for loading and unloading passengers. We have to arrange times in advance with a 15 minute time-slot with the city for our pick-ups and drop-offs. If you’re late it will count against your time.

Cancellation Policy:

Your deposit reserves the boat, a captain, a crew member and the county dock. 

If a charter is canceled within 7 days of the charter date or no cancellation received, the full deposit is forfeited by the client.  

Any cancellation greater than 7 days from the charter date will be subject to a $250 cancellation fee to cover expenses of pre-paying the county dock, the credit card transaction fee, committing to captain and crew member, and administrative fees. The balance will be returned to you within 7 days.

Holds Boat, Time/Date, Captain and Crew Member

This security deposit is necessary for damages or excessive messes that require additional or professional cleaning. For example: Upholstery tears, carpet stains, bodily fluid clean up.

Outsourced cleaning or repairs will be billed for the amount to repair + 15% Service fee

Additional/excessive cleanup ie. bodily fluid (non-outsourced) $250 fee

Went on a sunset cruise with a group of friends on an incredible Winter So Cal afternoon that did not disappoint. Valter and his wife Nicole were super accommodating and lived up to the hostess with the mostest saying. First, the catamaran is a beautiful 42ft vessel that had clean bathrooms, a big hang out area in the galley if you get cold, a nice outdoor lounge area on the back of the catamaran where we spent a lot of time living life to the fullest. The front of the catamaran has two nets where you can literally look down into the clear blue sea, take in that salty air and if you are lucky like we were you can take view dolphins swimming right underneath us. Our 3 hour cruise ended with a gorgeous sunset that wrapped an afternoon we will never forget. Thank you Valter & Nicole for making our experience first class. We invite you to enjoy a Private cruise  aboard a 52ft Luxury Cranchi Atlantique  Motor Yacht with 3 staterooms that can easily sleep 6 guests and accommodate up to 10 guests for cruising. Music is onboard with bluetooth or USB plus surround sound. 

The flybridge on top of the yacht offers a 360 view with comfortable rounded seating. Guests are welcome to layout and enjoy the front deck plus upper deck also further seating is to be found outside the main cabin .

Fishing charters , snorkeling and spear fishing can also be arranged. 

The Yacht is only a fifteen minute drive from LAX Airport. Enjoy cruising the fabulous LA Coastline or the Channel Islands on this luxurious yacht where we make your enjoyment our top priority.

The Yacht comes with a fully equipped galley with electric range, microwave , wine cooler , two fridges , ice machine plus BBQ on the lower deck and if you require a chef .

3 Hours - $890 / $975 Weekends in May-Sept

Cruise Marina del Rey, harbor, Venice, Santa Monica, and see from a distance the striking cliffs of Malibu. If you have a specific request for route, just let your captain know. Regardless, we will be sure to show you the best scenery based on the day's conditions. You'll be extremely comfortable with multiple lounging areas on the yacht, including a high view flybridge and a comfortable bow cushion seating area. Connect your music with bluetooth to our sound system and set the vibe to your preference. Your crew will be there to provide the full luxury experience, with optional stewardess onboard to serve your refreshments and assist you as needed. The captain will be constantly on the lookout for wildlife and dolphins, of which there are many in the Santa Monica Bay!

4 Hours - $1090 / $1300 Weekends in May-Sept

A little longer to cruise, relax, swim, party, and enjoy! If you'd like to swim, we recommend a 4 hour charter. We can take you to one of multiple great swimming areas depending on the day's conditions. This might be near the Santa Monica Pier, or Playa del Rey Beach. Paddle boards and floaties are included on request!

6 Hours - Malibu Voyage - $1800 / $1950 Weekends in May-Sept

Offered April - October. Cruise to Malibu for an epic yacht day! Anchoring locations may be in front of Carbon Beach, or Paradise Cove. This is the best place in the Santa Monica Bay to enjoy the sea and sunshine. You'll have a beautiful coastal cruise to begin, passing the beaches of Venice, Santa Monica, and the Pacific Palisades. After arriving in Malibu, the captain will find a stunning cliffside protected anchorage. You'll anchor the yacht, throw out the paddle boards and floaties, and enjoy a couple hours of relaxing, sunbathing, swimming, and paddleboarding! Hope for dolphins on the way home!

Catalina Full Day Trip - $3900

Offered April - October. Visit the premier destination for Southern California boating! Choose either an Avalon town day, or take the yacht to secluded coves like Emerald Bay and others in the north of the island. In Avalon, wander the tiny streets with shopping and dining, or rent a golf cart to explore! Scuba dive the famous Avalon underwater park, or take a safari to view the famous Catalina buffalo. If you prefer to enjoy the boat all day, we'll go to Emerald Bay for the crystal clear water and great snorkeling! Paddle boards included to enjoy the calm bays, or sunbathe on the bow! Calico - 40ft Yacht - 6 Guests

Take in the sights and sounds of Marina del Rey, Los Angeles aboard this modern, American-built Carver yacht. This boat’s spacious 40 ft feature three decks for entertaining: Interior & Cockpit, Flybridge, and Foredeck. Her expansive open boat cabin features large salon windows and plush seating in two separate interior areas.  The dining area adjacent to the galley seats six for dinner. Farther aft, the salon features a settee and matching armchairs.  Outside, a large boat cockpit features a Euro-style transom door and integral swim platform.

Sunset is a wonderful time to enjoy out on the water. The late afternoon is when a lot of the marine life in the harbor is most active! Seals, sea lions, and various species of birds are easy to spot. Enjoy drinks and hors d'ouevres, or even dinner aboard against a backdrop of the setting sun on the Pacific Ocean. To book a sunset cruise, simply choose how many hours you'd like to rent the yacht, then choose a time near to the sunset of that day. For example, in the winter, book a charter beginning between 4:00pm - 5:00pm. In the summer, the sun sets later, so book a charter beginning between 6:00pm - 7:00pm.

Comfortable clothes and layers! The temperature varies a lot even within a couple of hours on the water. Make sure to bring layers so you stay comfortable the entire trip. Additionally, we require shoes to be removed prior to boarding. This ensures the yachts remain in the best condition possible for future guests.

Yes, all our yachts come with a Bluetooth stereo so you can connect easily and play your own music for the atmosphere you’re looking to enjoy.

Yes, while we provide complimentary waters and sodas you are always welcome to bring your favorite food and drinks to enjoy while you’re out.

No, gratuity is not included. We recommend 15-20% for excellent service.

We understand not everyone has their sea-legs so if anyone tends to get motion sick or seasick, or if you aren’t sure, we recommend planning ahead and choosing a remedy you’re comfortable with before you board. A quick google search will help you understand the options; pills, patches, homeopathic, etc.

Your captain has full authority over the route and destination based on the conditions. While uncommon there are instances where weather and sea conditions may prevent the charter from sticking to the planned itinerary. If the weather or sea conditions are extreme, the captain will decide if it is unsafe to proceed and we will work with you to reschedule for another available day.

• Over 13-years Old: Life jackets are not required for guests older than 13-years. However, they are available for all guests and can be worn as an added safety precaution if you feel more comfortable… plus orange is stylish!

I wanted a special birthday celebration with my friends and one of my friends suggested we do it in a yacht. We looked into a couple of them to try to see if we can find an affordable one. OnBoat offered an unbelievable deal at a very affordable price. we did it, was our first time and it was fun. The booking process was a piece a cake. You book through their website and shortly after you get a email confirmation. I had a private yacht, with a knowledgeable captain and some BYOB budget to get some booze on board. It was a party of 6 people but it’s definitely a night that will go on the books …. they have different locations in LA. I will definitely be doing this again soon and maybe in bigger boat.. I had a great experience in the ocean… I highly recommend them.

I recently booked the 45 foot yacht through OnBoat. The boat was very affordably priced, yet had plenty of room for us.. We anchored off of Santa Monica pier, had a swim, listened to music, had some sancks, and came back totally relaxed, sunset over the ocean is justamazing

Due to the aggressive waves and careless driver we were not able to enjoy our experience. It was extremely unsafe because the boat kept tilting, knocking everything off the table, and sliding my guests around while they were sitting in chairs. Majority of my guests got sick, including myself. We’ve all been on boats before and this has never happened. We felt so uncomfortable I asked the captain SEVERAL times to go back to the Marina area. He kept ignoring the requests and laughing it off and continued driving the boat recklessly, putting my guest and I in danger. He finally went back to the Marina near the very very end of our tour and we finally felt safe. With our experience I would not recommend this captain or boat to anyone. What was expected to be a great experience, ended up being the worst yacht experience we’ve ever had.

I rented out this boat for my birthday I had amazing time on this boat was the best my whole group enjoyed the ride we felt comfortable and safe in the captain’s hands we was able to watch the sunset and at 1 point we were surrounded by dolphins the boat was very nice and clean this is definitely a birthday to remember I will be doing this again thanx OnBoat I highly recommend

I rented this Yacht for my birthday. we had lots of fun. Captain was very friendly, even though we were late cause of the traffic and couldn’t find the location he waited and gave us his exact location that we followed. It was a great experience and we partied the entire trip. on our way we saw sea lions, and dolphins. we all had such a wonderful time. I definitely recommend booking.

Five Stars! Everything was as described. I celebrated my birthday, we had a party of eight and we had an awesome time. It was enough time to party and to also relax. Captain Charles was super knowledgeable and very friendly. He called me a couple of days before to make sure he answered all of my questions and could meet my expectations. The boat was spacious for 12 people. We saw dolphins along the route and got to swim in the ocean. Overall everyone had a great time.

Public service and safety is provided by the LA Sheriff’s Department. Southern California Edison, L.A. There are no schools within this part of Marina del Rey and education is provided by the LA Unified School District.

MARINA DEL REY HISTORY

Marina del Rey has been a long time in the making. Construction of the jetties for the present entrance channel began in December 1957, but efforts toward a harbor at this location actually began some seventy years earlier, sponsored, ironically, by a railroad.

In 1887, a far-sighted man, named M.C. Wicks, organized the Port Ballona Development Company under the auspices of the Santa Fe Railroad. Wicks dreamed of developing the Playa del Rey estuary and inlet into a major commercial harbor to serve the Los Angeles area.

He managed to raise $300,000, all of which went for construction work over a three-year period. However, Wicks went bankrupt and the area was eventually taken over by duck hunters. Another quarter of a century passed without action, but the dream kept recurring.

In 1916, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reported to Congress that a new proposal to develop the Playa del Rey Inlet and basin as a major harbor was impractical.
