Once the crew has stowed the sails and the anchor’s down, huge swathes of teak offer guests no end of possibilities. Stretch out to sunbathe on the aft deck’s sunpads or take the steps down to the folding swim platform for a cooling dip or to enjoy the many thrilling tow toys behind the yacht’s 4.5m (14.8ft) tender.

From the drawing board of the renowned Dubois studio, she is expertly built for both performance and comfort. The guest deck lounge remains completely line-free for total safety and a dodger over the companionway shelters you from the wind without blocking the views forward. There’s a bar adjacent too, for refreshments underway.

For a more sedate experience, you can explore the anchorage on paddleboards, zip silently about on the flyboard or even join the crew on a fishing expedition. There are also six sets of scuba diving equipment and a compressor so you can get up-close to the reefs and marine life beneath the waves.

If you want to escape the midday heat on deck you can enjoy lunch at the dining table below in air-conditioned comfort with views and plenty of natural light from large hull ports and skylights. After lunch you can relax in the lounge opposite as the captain and crew set sail for the next extraordinary destination. A deserted anchorage, a bustling fishing port or a grand city marina, the choice is yours.

Come evening, after toasting the sunset with a cocktail on the foredeck, it’s time for supper and the chef has excelled yet again having whizzed ashore to find the finest, freshest produce available. After dinner your digestif slips down and the conversation flows as the state-of-the-art sound system provides the soundtrack.

At bedtime, SILVERTIP has very family-friendly accommodation for seven comprises a full-beam master cabin with an island double berth aft plus another guest double cabin and a twin cabin with an additional berth.

Very fast and constantly upgraded by one meticulous owner from new. Not a foil or rigging detail has been left untouched on this flush decked, high performance sloop. The timeless interior is lined with Swedish pear wood and gives a sense of light, airy space.

Three luxurious and comfortable staterooms accommodate up to seven guests. There is a splendid full beam master stateroom located aft with a King size bed and en suite bathroom, a double VIP stateroom also with en suite and a twin with bunk beds and a single bed. All cabins have been tastefully decorated and lined with Swedish pear wood coupled with neutral toned fabrics and carpet to give a light and a spacious feel. All guest staterooms feature opening portholes and the option of air conditioning.

With a dedicated owner, meticulous interior designer and the high expectations of the yacht designer Ed Dubois, SILVERTIP was always destined to be the thoroughbred she is today.

Launched in June 2001, SILVERTIP is a truly high performance sloop, designed by Dubois and built by Yachting Developments in Auckland. She was the first yacht to ever win both the International Superyacht Society’s Best Sailing Yacht and Showboats’ Best Sailing Yacht awards in her class. She also won the NZ millennium cup 2012, although she was one of the smallest yachts in the fleet, SILVERTIP was clearly the quickest in the light airs.

Among the special features of this splendid sloop are the imported Swedish pear wood that lines the magnificent interior, a new AV system, new eC6 rigging and 3Di sails. Her comfortable and spacious cockpit is protected by a generous, folding but semi-permanent sprayhood. This yacht has been in the same ownership from conception, and has been maintained with pride and dedication.

SILVERTIP has three luxurious and comfortable cabins aft for a maximum number of 7 guests. There is a beautiful Owner’s cabin, along with one double cabin as well as one twin cabin. SILVERTIP accommodates a crew of 4.

The legendary sailing superyacht, SILVERTIP offers her charter guests a once in a lifetime performance yacht experience, under sail or power, cruising the South of France and Corsica in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.

SILVERTIP is a superlative sloop-rigged yacht launched in 2002. At 33.80m (110ft), she was designed by legendary naval architect, Ed Dubois, built in New Zealand by Yachting Developments and has numerous awards to her name for impeccable craftsmanship, interiors and performance.

SILVERTIP was the first yacht to win both the International Superyacht Society's Best Sailing Yacht and Showboats' Best Sailing Yacht awards in her class. She also won the NZ Millennium Cup in 2012 against much larger superyacht rivals, proving her prowess when it comes to speed and agility.

For her fortunate charter guests, SILVERTIP has three luxurious and comfortable cabins aft for a maximum number of six guests. There is a spacious master suite, along with a double and a twin, each with ensuite and decorated in neutral tones that highlight the use of golden timber.

Recently refit, SILVERTIP is immaculate throughout, featuring Swedish pear wood, a new Kaleidescape AV system, LED TVs, Apple TV and Crestron, as well as new teak decks, new electronics, rigging and sails. The saloon is divided into lounge and dining areas and is quite simple sumptuous – modern, elegant and bright with Scandinavian influences and a refreshing palette of pea-green and bold orange against the warm timber panelling.

On deck, the massive cockpit is comfortable and protected by a generous, folding sprayhood – the perfect vantage point for watching as the Captain, Blair MacLeod gets the best out of this impressive yacht which cruises at 10 knots. At anchor, the cockpit is a pleasant area for meals and relaxing on charter, with sunpads for bathing in the tropical warmth.

For active charter guests, SILVERTIP boasts an Aquapro 4.5m inflatable tender with Yamaha 60HP 4 stroke outboard, water ski equipment, wakeboard, kneeboard, fishing gear including game rods, snorkelling gear and six dive tanks, Stand Up Paddleboards, Canon underwater camera and a drone with GoPro 4.

Capable of accessing even the most remote reef atolls and inlets, SILVERTIP and her brilliant crew of four are willing and able to share their local knowledge of chartering in Fiji, French Polynesia, New Zealand and the South Pacific to ensure you take home the memories of a lifetime.
