• We might see some of our resident dolphins and manatees through the trip (there are no guarantees when it comes to the marine mammals, they are wild). There is no better way to enjoy a sunset than on a boat in Sarasota Bay.
• It can get chilly after the sun goes down so make sure to bring a light jacket, and don’t forget your camera
• Please feel free to bring snacks and beverages on board (small coolers only).
• Cold water, beverages and snacks available for purchase.
• This trip is suitable for all ages.
• We must meet a minimum passenger count to cruise. Reservations are highly recommended. We take reservations for regularly scheduled cruises no more than 2 weeks in advance. All scheduled cruises are subject to change.

Sunset Cruise

This cruise will set sail 1.5 hours before sunset from the most convenient of four pick-up locations in Sarasota, Longboat Key, Siesta Key or Anna Maria Island.  As we cruise through Sarasota Bay, we will look for manatees, dolphins and other wildlife.  Take in the picturesque coastal sunset while we tour the intercoastal waterways   Enjoy a complimentary bottle of champagne and snacks as the warm Florida sun sets into the Gulf of Mexico. 

• Complimentary bottled water & cooler with ice are included
• You are welcome to bring your own food and alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages if desired
• Complimentary bottle of champagne.
• Due to shortened days in Fall and Winter, start times may vary. We will contact you prior to your cruise day with an exact time it will start

Deposits and Cancelations

A $100 + tax deposit is collected at the time of booking and you may bring a credit card or cash to pay the balance upon arrival for the cruise. Same price for any number guests up to 6 people maximum.   Cancellations are accepted up to 72 hours prior to cruise time for full refund of deposit.  In the event the cruise must be cancelled due to inclement weather, your deposit will be refunded.   No-shows at the dock without prior notification will be charged the balance of the cruise to the credit card on file.

• Not wheelchair accessible

• This charter is for up to 6 people including adults, children, and babies. Coast Guard law prohibits us from taking more than 6 people. If guest show up with more than 6, they will be turned away with no refund.
• This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
• This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate
• For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the experience.

He is super personable and is quite knowledgeable about the area. I loved seeing all of the birds up close, and even though the water was a little chilly, he indulged us when we asked if we could hop out on a sand bar and look for shells. My dog joined us as well. I wasn't sure how he would be since it was his first boat ride (except for once riding on a ferry) but I think Captain Cory helped him relax and enjoy the ride as much as his humans did. The captain was fun and informative. We had out dog with us and he was super with her. He took us to a sandbar so we could get out and romp with her - it was great fun. Other highlights were seeing dolphins, manatees, and a nesting area for local birds. The whole experience was professional. The boat was spacious and immaculate and accommodated the four of us and our dog beautifully. Our 3 hours were spent exploring little Sarasota bay and Sarasota bay, complete with a bird rookery and views of the amazing architecture. It was more than we could have hoped for. Our private sunset celebration charters are a one of kind experience! Leaving 90 minutes before sunset, the trip includes an optional sightseeing tour of the Sarasota and Siesta Key intercoastal waterways, where you can watch for dolphins, manatees, and tropical birds. We will then make our way to one of our favorite spots to experience the sunset. 

Serenita is equipped with Bluetooth surround speakers throughout the length of the boat. Choose from one of our many curated Spotify playlists, or pair your phone and take control of the tunes. Serenita features plush loungers, wrap around table seating, and is one of the few local charter boats to offer a bathroom onboard.
