A Summary of Motor Yacht NINA LU

The motor yacht NINA LU is a 34 m 112 (foot) well proportioned composite vessel which was developed by Westport Shipyard and concieved by Jack Sarin and Westport and Taylor Olson. The gracious boat has been created from naval architects Jack Sarin and Westport and Taylor Olson. Westport Yachts was involved in the interior design and styling.

The Shipyard Work & Design with respect to Luxury Yacht NINA LU

Jack Sarin was the naval architecture company involved in the formal superyacht plans for NINA LU. Her interior design was completed by Westport Yachts. Jack Sarin and Westport and Taylor Olson is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. In 2006 she was formally launched with accolade in Hoquiam Wa and following sea trials and finishing touches was then delivered to the yacht owner. Westport Shipyard completed their new build motor yacht in the United States. The hull was built out of composite. The motor yacht main superstructure is fabricated largely with composite. With a width of 7.13 m or 23.9 ft NINA LU has moderate size. A fairly shallow draught of 1.68m (5.6ft) selects the number of worldwide ports she can enter into, depending on their specific depth at low tide.

M/Y NINA LU Engine Room & Propulsion:

Installed with twin MTU diesel engines, NINA LU is able to attain a high speed of 26 knots. Her propulsion units are twin screw propellers (michigan 5 blades). She also has an economical range of 2500 miles when sailing at her cruise speed of 12 knots. Her total HP is 4000 HP and her total Kilowatts are 2984. For bow thrusters she uses Wesmar. For stabalisers she uses Naiad.

40-meter Westport Yacht NINA LU is now available for sale. She is the newest 40m Westport available on the market and is found in excellent condition as she has had incredible care her entire life. Her present owner has done a tremendous number of quality improvements and upgrades that will prove current for years to come. She is ABS and MCA compliant.

Boarding nina lu

This beautiful 40-meter Westport accommodates 10 guests in 5 spacious rooms. The moment you board NINA LU you will feel the salty air and the natural teak under your feet. Walking up to the aft deck you can see an excellent gathering space for you and your guests fixed with a 42” Sunview HDTV above the amazing full bar. There is additional seating on a custom U-Shaped settee. From the aft deck one has easy access to the water, tender and water sports.

NINA LU’s automatic doors give you a warm welcome into the comfortable main salon. This space offers a modern yet comforting experience to gather with your guests. Here is where you can view a movie on the 50″ TV that rises out of the cabinet while enjoying the amazing surround sound. Or you may play a card game on the elegant coffee table while listening to your favorite songs. Whatever you enjoy doing this main salon is sure to accommodate your every need. 

Dining Area

Some say The Dining room is the most important room because technology is turned off and you can focus on your family and friends while you eat a delicious meal prepared by the chef.  The dining area can seat up to ten guests. There is a door located between the dining area and galley making for simple and easy dining services.

MAster suite

You may enter NINA LU’s beautiful on-deck master suite, through the owner’s study. The master cabin is fixed with a king bed, an ensuite with double sinks, a very spacious shower, a toilet and a bidet. The master suite is also has ample amount of storage throughout including a vanity and a walk-in closet. If you need to get away there is also a 50″ HDTV with full entertainment and surround sound. 

Guest suite

Going down one will land in the guest foyer where four guest cabins are found. There are two VIP staterooms that are each fixed with a  king bed, two nightstands, dresser, closet, private bathroom and shower, plus an entertainment center with LG 37” 4K with full entertainment.

There are also two twin cabins. Both twin guest cabins have a dresser, closet, private bathroom and shower plus an entertainment center with LG 32” 4K. 

The 40-meter Westport’s sky lounge is another favorite gathering area. This amazing sky lounge is fixed with spacious seating, a full bar, game table, relaxing L-Shape sofa, fireplace with and a Samsung 50” 4K above and full entertainment center with surround sound. What more could you ask for? 

The best place to enjoy a sunny day is NINA LU’s sundeck; it has a large hard top with water misters which allows guests to enjoy the Jacuzzi surrounded by sun pads in the sun or under some shade while enjoying a magnificent breeze. Dining alfresco on the sundeck is also an option for enjoying the beautiful sunsets at dinner.

Westport motor yacht Nina Lu sold

The 34 metre motor yacht Nina Lu has been sold with Joe Foggia at Northrop & Johnson representing the seller and Mark Elliott at IYC introducing the buyer.

Built in GRP by US yard Westport and delivered in 2006 with her most recent refit in 2016, this Westport 112 model provides accommodation for eight guests in four cabins. The spacious master suite features a king size bed and his & hers bathroom while there is a VIP suite forward with a queen berth, as well as an additional queen aft and a twin cabin which can convert into a king size bed. All cabins come with entertainment centres, LCD television screens and en-suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for four crew.

The saloon has a large L-shaped settee, love seats and a bar to port along with an entertainment centre featuring a 55-inch flatscreen Samsung television on a rise and fall mechanism and a stereo surround sound system. Forward is a dining area for eight with custom wood buffet cabinets storing glassware, china and silver, while further forward still is a fully equipped galley with a dinette offering casual breakfasts and snacks through the day.

The aft deck has built-in upholstered seating, a high gloss table and two teak chairs giving guests a convivial gathering place for al fresco entertaining and dining. Up on the flybridge more outdoor enjoyment is available at four helm chairs, a bar, hot tub and a seating area sheltered from the sun by a custom hard top. Twin 16V 2000 M91 MTU diesel engines give her a maximum speed of 24 knots.
