Roy Pinney, our president, grew up on the shores of Long Island Sound in Westchester County, New York. From there evolved his lifelong passion for the sea. As a competitive swimmer in high school and college, he excelled in the 100-meter butterfly event and still swims regularly. Personal interests include Italian culture, tropical birds, investing, music and exotic cars. Roy is also well-traveled: from journeys throughout Europe to Afghanistan and from Alaska to Argentina. His education was self-financed by leading and playing bass guitar in a popular Rock n Roll band.
