The luxury sailing yacht EROS, previously named JEANRY, was built by Brooke Marine and delivered to her owner in 1939, she later underwent a refit in 2019.

The 115ft / 35.1m EROS has been constructed with a wood hull and is powered by 350hp V-892 Detroit Diesel with a cruising speed of 9 knots and a top speed of 12 knots.

Justin Bernhart

Justin Bernhart is a licensed captain with an extensive background in marine safety and charter, as well as tall ship and motor yacht handling. He is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, with experience in search and rescue, and a graduate of the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding. He has spent years building and restoring wooden boats on the east and west coasts of North America. He is an experienced offshore sailor and deliveryman, and has been at the helm of various charter and privately-owned vessels, from the 103-foot gaff-rigged AURORA to a 12-meter racing sloop and a 112-foot Westport motor yacht. His credentials include a 500-ton USCG license, advanced firefighting, medical care, and rescue. He is adept at crew training, supervision, and all aspects of yacht management.

Aimee grew up on the local waters of New England. From an early age she developed a deep love for the ocean. With past experiences in surf instruction, surf rescue, this surfer gone sailor is at home on the water. Her sailing experience began as a child on her father’s boat and working as a deckhand aboard 12 Meter “Heritage”. Her interests also include free diving and astrology. During your time aboard Eros, Aimee will make you feel right at home. Her years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industries and knowledge on deck allow her to deliver a 5-star experience no matter what. She is ecstatic to serve on Eros where she combines all of her passions in one place.

Jessica is a yoga teacher, health coach, energy healer, nutritional chef, and entrepreneur. Her highest joy is hosting wellness based adventure retreats. She grew up on Block Island and spent half her childhood home-schooled on a boat in the Bahamas. Jessica studied philosophy, anthropology and psychology at Colorado College. As a chef, Jessica is renowned in her community for the delicious healthy foods and has a gift for bringing amazing people together and facilitating joyful and transformational experiences.

Jared Frith

Jared started sailing dinghies and other small boats on Lake Dillon near his home in Breckenridge, Colorado. He joined a steel l ketch carrying charter guests between Panama and Colombia through the San Blas Islands and fell in love with sailing and the charter business. From there Jared traveled by land through many different countries, but really missed sailing so he found himself on more yachts, gravitating towards larger and older traditional vessels, mostly schooners. Jared loves wooden yachts, the older the better; he enjoys their character. And he loves sharing time on these yachts with guests that he can teach and form friendships with. He enjoys long sea deliveries, seeing the crew become a team, standing watch and partaking in the ultimate nature outing. In his free time Jared loves spending time in the outdoors and traveling as much as possible.

On Season 3 of Below Deck , the crew catered to guests on board the Eros , a 161-foot luxury yacht, which will take the cast and some well-heeled guess Bahamas. The Eros has high-end pleasures like an on-deck jacuzzi and a gym. Like previous years, Below Deck representatives changed the name of the actual yacht for the show.

Below Deck’s Eros is actually called Mustang Sally.The ship also offers guests water toys like a wave runner, water skis, snorkeling equipment, and scuba diving equipment.

Great crew, Outstanding yacht.

Though I’ve thought all the Yachts were nice, I’d have to say the EROS is probably a favorite. The layout is so much different than the others.

I was thinking how amazingly fun it would be to work on this yacht….then I thought HELL NO!!! I want to be a pampered guest on that boat, surrounded by an amazing and super fun crew!!! It would be a once in a lifetime trip!!!! I would love my whole family (which is very small) to join me for pure rest & relaxation and tons of fun; with no worries at all… But DAAA’UUUMMM……it is so dang freaking expensive to rent this yacht for a week. I am not that wealthy, so it’s unlikely I’ll ever be able to afford an type of vacation on this gorgeous be z

Us poor peeps can only hope to win the give away Cruz on that boat for the week…

One day I will be able to take a trip on this yacht or spend a week on this yaht, when that day comes I’ll know I won the lotto…lol

I don’t get it. What’ s so special about a yacht? $200,000 and for what?

WoW!! I only wish that I were related to the Real House Wife celeb, Ms. Bailey. What a blessing to grab a few best friends and even just enjoy a weekend at sea…….now that would make me very happy. I will be looking for that “Eros Cruise Contest” as well.

I thought it would fun to get 10 friends and split the cost until I checked into the prices. Wow, I can pay my house off for the amount of money they are asking. I watch the show and I have not been impressed with the food the chef serves, the entertainment, an employee dressing up as a mermaid?? and some water toys. Add another 10000.00 or more for the tip at the end of the week. Maybe when I hit the lotto!

The actual Below Deck yacht is available to charter in Miami area for anyone that has the money.

I would NEVER charter the Eros after seeing the show ‘Below Deck’ & seeing how the crew mock the quests publicly on camera! How rude & unprofessional!

Ocean House , the beachfront 5-star hotel in Westerly that is within sight of Taylor Swift's Rhode Island home , is now offering a "land and sea experience" that includes a trip on a yacht used by the likes of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, actress Shirley Temple and dancer Fred Astaire.

The hotel's "land and sea experience" includes a cruise on the Aphrodite yacht, a commuter boat built in 1937 now owned by Ocean House's owner Charles Royce. Here's what to know about the new offering.

When can you charter the Aphrodite yacht at Ocean House?

The Aphrodite yacht is available to charter between Aug. 1 and Oct. 31 this year.

The boat is available to charter through a "land and sea" package or an individual sailing.

Ocean House guests can reserve the Aphrodite yacht for individual sailings, or can opt to purchase the "land and sea" package, which includes a three-night stay in a multi-level suite.

The suite included in the package has four guestrooms, a private outdoor terrace and beach access.

Guests looking to charter the Aphrodite yacht will have to open their wallets.

Individual sailings start at $5,000. The "land and sea" package that includes a three-night suite stay costs $42,000 plus taxes and fees.

The history behind the Aphrodite yacht at Ocean House

The Aphrodite yacht was originally built in 1937 as a commuter boat for Wall Street financier John Hay Whitney, according to a press release from Ocean House.

Over the years, the yacht became used for summer day cruises and hosted a slew of celebrities, including Katharine Hepburn, Shirley Temple, Fred Astaire and Nelson Rockefeller, the release said.

In 1942, the yacht was commissioned as a Coast Guard auxiliary vessel and was used to transport President Franklin D. Roosevelt to and from his Hyde Park, NY, home.

The 74-foot vessel was eventually bought by Ocean House owner Charles Royce in 2003.

I realize that Moscow is on the Volga River, which connects to the Caspian Sea, but I’m wondering how foreign vessels can reach it? Or do foreign travel companies just buy a yacht that’s already "in the system"?

From the Caspian Sea, Gary, yachts come up the Volga then on to the Oka River and enter a tributary call the Moskva ("Moscow" in Russian) River. Alternate route is Volga to man-made Moscow Canal (which connects Volga to Moskva River). The big superyachts can’t get into the city limits because the river is only 3 inches deep. Just outside of the city, however, the water is 6 meters deep, perfect for large yachts. Yacht passengers easily travel into the city by limousine. (I imagine thoughts of hovercrafts, etc are a consideration for someday…) James Bond, anyone?

The 5th edition of the International exhibition of yachts and boats –  Moscow Boat Show , held from March 20 to 25, 2012 will be hosted by the first pavilion of Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre. This popular show is dedicated not only to the specialists of the market segment and professional sportsmen but also to those who consider sailing sport to be their hobby and well cherished dream.

The project is the result of joint efforts of the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre and the National Marine Industry Association. The event is supported by Aston Martin Moscow, Burevestnik Group logistics department and the Yachting specialized magazine. Moscow Boat Show is the largest project in Russia presenting all the best in the world of yachting.

The exhibition annually shows high level of attendance and has already proved as significant and noteworthy event in the world of yachts and boats. Every year new exhibitors join the list of participants, genuine “sharks” of yachting business, the quantity of visitors considerably increases and the exposition becomes more sated and diverse.

The best companies professionally involved into yachting and small navigation business – 180 exhibitors from 17 regions of the Russian Federation and 15 countries traditionally presented the best and the newest in the world of yachting at 2011 edition: from design and facilitation of vessels and up to cruising and training courses for beginning skippers. In 2011 the overall exhibit space comprised 18 000 sq m. More than 25 000 visitors came to the show.

This year the exposition space will increase up to 30 000 sq m and will be accommodated in 4 exhibition halls. The scale of the project confirms confident positions of its positive development. The organizers will try to arrange a genuine fiesta of water on land!

Quite a number of foreign exhibitors will participate in the show. Foreign companies show increasing interest to yachting business in Russia.

Moscow Boat Show provides the perfect platform from which to preview new products, evaluate market trends, and establish long-lasting and commercially profitable partnerships. Despite the dynamic changes taking place in Russia and the rapid growth of the yachting sector, the show continues to complement and reflect the industry’s demand and is a promotional opportunity not to be missed!

As its popularity and success rate has grown over the last years Moscow Boat Show 2012 has developed to incorporate more than just an exhibition. These special events serve to attract leading exhibitors and visitors and allow all participants the chance to broaden their knowledge and of course their sales potential.

Moscow Boat Show helps representatives of yachting business to get acquainted with their Russian colleagues and gradually improves national yachting market to a new level. It is obvious that for 4 years of its running the project has turned to a status event of the international exhibitions calendar. The organizers of the exhibition aim to bring together on the same platform all key national and worldwide players and to offer an excellent platform to encourage networking among specialists and visitors in order to accelerate the development in this field as well as implementing new technologies, the newest equipment, materials and components.

Freshly launched and ready to set sail, the 37.30m (122' 5") Numarine motor yacht OCULUS is now open for charter . This striking explorer-style yacht seamlessly combines robust seaworthiness and stability with luxurious deck amenities and modern interior design by Hot Lab Studio.

OCULUS can accommodate up to twelve guests in six opulent staterooms, including a master suite on the main deck, all attended by a dedicated crew of nine. The main salon offers an inviting atmosphere with oversized, modular sofas, plush rugs, and a ten-seater dining table. With vast panoramic windows and glass doors leading to the cockpit and companionways, the space is bathed in natural light, creating a seamless connection with the surrounding seascape. Additionally, the upper salon provides a perfect venue for social gatherings, ideal for a pre-dinner cocktail party on the upper deck aft.

On deck, guests will find ample lounging areas and sun pads, a spacious Jacuzzi on the sundeck, and a beach club at the water's edge. Al fresco dining settings invite guests to enjoy meals on deck, where the onboard chef and crew are ready to indulge your culinary desires.

The deck crew will arrange a plethora of water toys, including a chase boat, rib tender, jet skis, seabobs, and fliteboards. For those who prefer the beach, OCULUS carries an extensive array of beach equipment and furniture to create idyllic setups for lunch or sunset cocktails.
