Lürssen to build 103m superyacht Project JASSJ

Lürssen has been commissioned to build a 103 metre superyacht named Project JASSJ to be overseen by Moran Yacht & Ship . 

Moran, which negotiated the build contract and will supervise the build, revealed the first details about the project at the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show. 

Designed inside and out by RWD Design, Project JASSJ features accommodation for a total of 22 guests in 11 cabins, with an “industry-leading” beach club aft. Elsewhere, the yacht will boast a full-beam gym and extensive outdoor spaces for entertaining and relaxation.

More details will be revealed as the project develops.

The 1200 GT vessel is 65.9-meters long and has a beam of 10.6-meters with a 3-meter draft. Power is provided by a pair of CAT marine diesels. She should see a 15.5-knot top end with a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 10-knots from 120,000 LT fuel capacity. She is being fashioned from steel and aluminium and will rise 4 decks above the waterline. In terms of accommodation, the 66-meter vessel will sleep twelve (12) guests in six (6) cabins. The owner's suite is actually very secluded from the rest of the cabins, perched high and unusually on the sundeck making it very private. The area will feature a jacuzzi and a small touch-and-go helipad which can generally only be accessed from the owner's cabin. Tender storage is on the bow in two bow lockers on either side. This arrangement permits plenty of room for a beach club on the aft lower deck which can open up to the sea on three sides. Delivery of the GC Force 66 Project JAS can be expected in 2023. The 31.05m/101'10" sail yacht 'Jasbid W2' was built by Nautor's Swan in Italy at their Jakobstad shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Loro Piana Interiors (Misa Poggi) and she was completed in 2022. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of German Frers.

Guest Accommodation

Jasbid W2 has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 suites comprising two cabins that can operate as twins or doubles. Additionally, there are 2 staff cabins aboard. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Powered by 1 x diesel Cummins (QSB 6.7 MCD) engines, she comfortably cruises at 9 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 11 knots.
