Our 3 standard pick-up and drop-off locations are:

 The Water Street Boat Launch which is located between The Kelowna Yacht Club and The Delta Grand Okanagan Hotel in downtown Kelowna.

The Cook Road Boat Launch which is located beside The Hotel Eldorado in Kelowna.

The Gellatly Road Boat Launch which is located beside the West Kelowna Yacht Club in West Kelowna.

What water activities do you offer.

We offer wakeboarding, water skiing, tubing, knee boarding, snorkeling, fishing and even SCUBA diving.

Do the tours include food and drink?

Great question! Yes, and no. Luxury Lake Tours provides bottled water and snacks. We do encourage you to bring sandwiches and beverages. We can also provide dock stops at restaurants and dinners. For additional fees we can even provide hot meals right on the boat.

What happens if the weather is bad?

 In the event of bad weather, we will cancel all tours/activities, and, of course, there will be no charge to you. You will be given the choice of rescheduling or a full refund. Our staff will determine when the weather prohibits a safe, enjoyable trip, and when those unfortunate days come upon us.

Can we bring alcoholic bevies on the boat?

Yes, 100% legal, this is because of the bathroom, bed below and the kitchen on board. We do however monitor you closely to insure your safety. We are one of the only commercial operators in small vessel operation that is legal!

Do we have to pay for fuel?

On all the excursions and charters we cover the fuel.

Adria is an S2 8.5 meter yacht, with a full cabin, c/w enclosed head (toilet), 2 sinks, stove, and fridge. She has a furling headsail, and a Diesel engine if the wind dies. The large comfortable cockpit offers plenty of room for guests. 

Our goal is to have a safe, fun, sailing cruise adventure.

Guests are encouraged to participate in the sailing of the boat as much or as little as desired. The captain is happy to explain what he is doing to keep the boat moving with the wind.

PRIVATE TOURS: We offer private tours with a minimum of 8 seat purchases, otherwise this is an open mixed-group tour.

Policies & Cancelations:

RESERVATIONS:

For Signature Tour bookings, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. Deposits require a valid credit card. The remaining balance is due 48 hours in advance of your scheduled tour date. Remaining balance can be paid using e-transfer or credit card. All prices exclude applicable taxes & gratuity. For a Private Signature Tour booking we require 8 or more people.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Deposits are fully refundable for cancellations or changes made 14 days or more prior to the reservation. Sip & Anchor reserves the right to retain deposits for cancellations or reductions of the number of guests made less than 14 days prior to the reservation date, or in the case of no-shows.

All passengers are required to read & sign a waiver release agreement form prior to boarding the boat. This can be provided via email or at the time of your arrival.

WEATHER NOTE: 

We will wine tour rain or shine!  In the case of poor weather forecast, we do our best to provide 24 hours weather-watch notice for the boat portion of the trip. If we do not end up boating, we can reschedule a 2 hour charter (based on availability) or provide a refund of $50 per person, or, if there is availability we can extend the wine tour. Contact us for more info.

BAD WEATHER POLICY:

The Captain reserves the right to cancel the boat tour portion due to bad weather conditions. Guests will have the opportunity to add 2 additional wineries, or a cidery and brewery to their tour.

CONDITIONS:

Sip & Anchor reserves the right to change tour vehicles, guides, departure times, &/or winery & restaurant itineraries. Your reservation assumes release of the operator from liability or any assumption of claims, risks & indemnity.

To minimize cash transactions, we provide a dropdown gratuity option at the time of your booking, allowing you to select a 15% or higher gratuity.

Although you have already included gratuity at the booking stage and feel that your Guide has delivered exceptional service beyond your expectations, offering a cash tip at the conclusion of your tour is always appreciated.

In all of our rentals we include a cooler as well as safety life jackets for everyone on board. Watersports package: 2 phase five surf boards for children and adults.

(Tube, wakeboard and water skis available upon request)

The meeting location will be at the Water St boat launch, downtown Kelowna, at the dock.

We hold $500 security deposit on booked charters in case there is any severe damage to the boat in any way. Boat rental without driver we hold a $2000 damage deposit via cash or card that will be returned to the customer when the boat returns to us without any damages.

Gas is not included and will be billed after the charter or rental at a discounted rate

If in a scenario where the weather does not permit safe boating conditions or if mechanical issues arise before your rental then you will receive a full refund. Please note that we do not allow cancellations due to overcast weather or slightly unfavorable conditions.

Single and Half day rentals 100% refund with over 72 hours (-$25 Cancellation fee) 50% refund with under 72 hours notice NO refund within 24 hours of rental and the provided credit card will be charged for the full duration of the rental period that was booked.

Multi day rentals 100% refund with over 2 weeks notice (-$25 Cancellation Fee) 50% refund with over 1 weeks notice NO refund under 1 weeks notice of the rental and the provided credit card will be charged for 1 full day of the rental period that was booked.

Please note there is a $25 cancellation fee at the time of cancellation.

Yes, all of our boats are provided with life jackets and all safety equipment required by Transport Canada.

How It All Started

From Airline Pilot to Marine Master, Sherman has been “behind the wheel” his entire life. As time passed, Sherman’s love for the water grew fonder and he found himself spending winters in the waters of Mexico.  From snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef to tour boat excursions, it was clear Sherman was destined to be on the water. 

With years of Marine operating experience, Sherman knew he could offer the Kelowna area a Luxury Charter experience that was second to none,  hence Kelowna Luxury Marine was founded.
