Ace is a custom motor yacht launched in 2012 by Lurssen Yachts in Rendsburg, Germany and most recently refitted in 2018.

Lürssen has remained a family-run German shipyard since its inception in 1875 and is now in its fourth generation of private ownership. The company was founded by Friedrich Lürssen with a desire to create a leading shipyard in both quality and performance.

Ace measures 85.00 metres in length, with a max draft of 3.85 metres and a beam of 14.44 metres. She has a gross tonnage of 2,732 tonnes. She has a deck material of teak.

Ace has a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure.

Winch Design is an award-winning design studio, established in 1986 as a specialist exterior and interior yacht designer, by Andrew Winch and his wife Jane.

Ace also features naval architecture by Lurssen Yachts.

Performance and Capabilities

Ace has a top speed of 17.00 knots and a cruising speed of 12.00 knots. She is powered by a twin screw propulsion system.

Ace has a fuel capacity of 205,000 litres, and a water capacity of 43,000 litres.

She also has a range of 4,000 nautical miles.

Ace accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 cabins. She also houses room for up to 30 crew members.

This stunning 285′ (87m) vessel was built by Lurssen, with the complete build process overseen by Moran Yacht & Ship.

Launched in July 2012, this 285 Ft. (87m) luxury motor yacht features accommodations for 12 guests in 6 spectacular staterooms. Her unique lines and beautiful interior were both created by Andrew Winch Designs.

Assembled by the venerable Alfred Loher of Munich, Germany, ACE’s interior has many unique features. She has one of the most luxurious spas that have ever been built into a yacht. The spa includes a hamman, Russian Banyan, massage room, plunge pool and a huge Roman styled Jacuzzi. Other amenities include a full beach club, full gym, discotheque, movie theater, a full array of toys and tenders and helicopter landing capabilities.

Brand new 44m superyacht ACE opens for luxury charters in the Med

Launched at the tail-end of 2022 by the Polish builder Conrad Shipyard, the 44m (145ft) custom-built  superyacht ACE is set to join the charter fleet upon delivery around the celebrated hotspots of the Mediterranean this summer.

If you’ve never dipped your toe into the charter waters before, now is the perfect time on board the brand new motor yacht ACE, which offers a luxury platform primed with a host of charter-friendly amenities, alongside the very latest technology and a highly professional crew to ensure a smooth and relaxed yacht vacation.

Looking every inch the superstar with her clean lines and straight bow, courtesy of the esteemed Reymond Langton, in collaboration with Netherlands-based Diana Yacht Design, guests lucky enough to step aboard Conrad Shipyard's flagship superyacht will be in for a treat. 

Her interiors also boast that wow factor, encompassing a scheme of neutral hues encompassing blonde woods and champagne tones throughout, with full-length windows adding to the warm and welcoming ambiance. 

Her main feature is her sun-kissed top deck, featuring an infinity pool surrounded by sunpads, with a shaded nearby sit-up bar providing day-long refreshments. Guests have an additional dining option here too, which offers far-reaching views in a more informal setting. This area also benefits from an alfresco cinema set up for movie nights under the stars.

There are further social and relaxation spaces to be found throughout her decks, including a comfortable seating and sun pad area on her foredeck, with additional sun loungers found down at the water level in her beach club. This area leads to a swim platform providing easy access to the water and onto the yacht’s myriad toys and accessories. 

Superyacht ACE will provide accommodation for 10 guests in 5 generous suites, comprising an on-deck master stateroom and four VIP cabins on her lower deck.

Falcon Motor Yacht Ace 1 Sold

The 26.01 metre motor yacht Ace 1 , listed for sale by Ed Dickinson at Northrop & Johnson has been sold with the buyer introduced by Dennis Frederiksen at Fraser in Monaco.

Built in GRP by Italian yard Falcon Yachts to a design by Stefano Righini , Ace 1 was delivered in 2006 as a Falcon 86 model. Up to 10 guests in a contemporary Italian interior are accommodated in four cabins consisting of a full beam master suite, VIP suite and port and starboard twin cabins, each with a Pullman berth. All guest cabins have entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities while the crew quarters sleep up to three members of staff.  

Overall, she has a bright and airy interior with the use of light wood and neutral tones throughout. An expansive saloon has comfortable fabric settees, a Panasonic 42-inch television screen and an entertainment system featuring Bose stereo surround sound. The dining area has a wine cellar and seating for eight guests around a large extendable table.

A large aft deck offers al fresco dining and entertaining while up on the sun deck is a barbecue grill, built-in seating and ample sun loungers.

Her top speed is 28 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 400 nautical miles at 20 knots with power coming from two 1,800hp MTU 16V2000M91 diesel engines.

Ace 1  was asking €1,150,000.

French carmaker Renault to sell Russian operations to Moscow

Russia will take control of French car manufacturer Renault’s operations in the country and resurrect a Soviet-era auto brand, officials said Monday, marking the first major nationalization of a foreign business since the war in Ukraine began.

Renault said it would sell its majority stake in Avtovaz, a Russian car company best known for its Lada brand, to a state-run research institute known as NAMI.

Renault’s other Russia operations, primarily a factory in Moscow, will be sold to the Moscow city government. The mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said the city would bring back the Moskvich brand for cars made at the factory. Moskvich was a major auto brand in the Soviet Union but went into steep decline in the 1990s and vanished from the market in the early 2000s.

“Today, we have taken a difficult but necessary decision,” Renault CEO Luca de Meo said in a statement, “and we are making a responsible choice towards our 45,000 employees in Russia, while preserving the Group’s performance and our ability to return to the country in the future, in a different context.”

Renault didn’t give any financial details of its sales but said the deal included an option to buy back the Avtovaz stake in the next six years. Trade and Industry Minister Denis Manturov indicated last month to Russian media that the Avtovaz deal could be conducted for a symbolic one ruble.

Ministry official Denis Pak told state TV that the deal allows Avtovaz to keep making Renault’s Duster passenger car design, now badged as a Lada, and that the new Moskvich operation was likely to produce cars this year.

Selling gets Renault out of a bind that Western companies are facing as they determine whether to pull out of Russia and weather the hit to their income. But continuing to work in Russia after the invasion could risk damaging corporations’ reputations with customers. With an eye on avoiding unemployment, the Russian government has been urging reluctant foreign investors to either resume operations or sell to someone who will.

Renault’s announcement came the same day McDonald’s said it is moving to sell its Russian business , which includes 850 restaurants that employ 62,000 people. The fast food giant did not name a prospective Russian buyer but said it would seek one that will hire its workers and pay them until the sale closes.

The new Russian owners taking over Renault’s operations will have to grapple with a shortage of imported components for cars , especially electronics. The Russian auto-making sector is heavily dependent on international supply chains that have been disrupted by sanctions over the war, while getting deliveries from abroad has become more difficult and expensive.

The NAMI research institute has some experience developing luxury cars used by Russian leaders, including President Vladimir Putin, but on a much smaller scale than the sprawling Soviet-era Avtovaz plant, where Russian and foreign investors have for decades struggled to make mass-market cars profitably.

Nearly half a million vehicles were sold in Russia last year under Renault and Avtovaz brands.

Sobyanin, the Moscow mayor, outlined ambitious plans for the resurrected Moskvich brand on his blog, saying it would start with traditional engines but produce “in the future, electric cars,” in a partnership with Russian truck manufacturer Kamaz.

Sobyanin said the city was motivated by keeping jobs but stopped short of ruling out staff cuts, saying only that “we will try to keep the majority of the personnel working directly at the plant and for its subcontractors.”
