Now for Sale: Sunseeker ‘Deseo’

FGI Yacht Group has been appointed central agent for the sale of the 131-foot Sunseeker Deseo , with an asking price of $14,990,000.

Deseo , launched in 2014, is one of 14 of Sunseeker’s 40M hulls. It’s a trideck design with five staterooms (including a full-beam master on the main deck) that can accommodate as many as 12 guests. There also are quarters for nine crew.

Design features include a raised pilothouse, sundeck dining, foldout balconies and a hot tub. Amenities for guest comfort include zero-speed stabilizers.

Power comes from a pair of MTU 4000 engines that reportedly deliver a top speed of 26 knots. According to FGI Yacht Group, the yacht can cruise up to 1,500 nautical miles at 10 to 12 knots.

What is Deseo’s condition? According to FGI Yacht Group, the yacht “has been maintained to high standards and is in pristine condition.”

The main deck features a lounge, separate dining area and full galley, while on the upper deck you'll find the sumptuous sky lounge, bridge and captain's cabin, servery, second day head and access to the Skydeck, where comfort and lavishness reach new levels. As impressive out in open water as it is in the harbour, this icon of design is unlike any other.

TAYRONA has been specified with 5 En-Suite Cabins. A Main Deck Master Cabin and 4 guest cabins on the lower deck. The lower deck configuration consists of two VIP Cabins and Two Convertible Twin Cabins with an additional pullman berth in the port cabin. The Twin Cabin beds slide together to make double berths if required. Therefore, turning the vessel into a 5 Double Cabin layout if required.

Represented by DMA Yachting, the impressive charter yacht PATHOS is a 131 ft motor yacht featuring a hot tub. PATHOS spends the summer and winter season in Greece. She was completed by the famous yacht builder Sunseeker in 2013. A comprehensive refit was finalized in 2017. The ingenious yacht layout features 6 cozy cabins and comfortably accommodates a maximum of 12 guests.

PATHOS is classified as a superyacht. The key pary of the boat - the aft deck, is right next to the meticulously composed main saloon. He graduated from the esteemed Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyros in 2006, beginning a journey that led him from apprentice to chief officer, and ultimately to his passion in the yacht industry. With extensive experience at the helm of private and commercial yachts, Captain Spyros is a master of his craft. He's well-acquainted with the Aegean and Ionian Seas, crafting personalized island itineraries and coordinating onshore activities. Fluent in both English and Greek, his engaging sense of humor adds to the enjoyment. Beyond his maritime career, Captain Spyros is a certified PADI diver, indulging his passion for underwater exploration. This, combined with his diverse nautical background, ensures an unforgettable voyage. In Captain Spyros's capable hands, your maritime journey transforms into an immersive experience guided by expertise and a flair for the extraordinary. Spoken Languages: Greek (mother tongue), English (fluent), Spanish (beginner). Previous yachts: M/Y CHAMPAGNE SEAS, M/Y AL MIRQAB, M/Y SAPPHIRE, M/Y HARVESTER, M/Y PAOLYRE. Chief Officer, Polychronis Evangelopoulos Chronis, born in 1978 in Athens, began his maritime journey at the Merchant Maritime Academy of Aspropyrgos. His career kicked off aboard Hellenic Seaways Catamarans, including High Speed 4 and Flying Cat 2. In 2002, he transitioned to the luxury yachting industry, steadily advancing from Deckhand/Steward to Bosun and ultimately Chief Officer. Chronis has sailed extensively throughout the Mediterranean, fueled by his deep-seated passion for the sea, underscored by his Open Water Scuba Diving PADI qualification. Fluent in both Greek and English, he has served on notable yachts like M/Y Champagne Seas, M/Y Mamma Mia, M/Y Velvet,and M/Y Perseus. Chief Engineer, Alexandros Karsanidis (Alex) Chief Engineer Alexandros was born in 1972 in Athens, Greece, and graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy in Athens. He has worked with Captain Panos in the past and joined M/Y PATHOS in 2017. He is married and has 2 children. Alex commenced his career onboard tanker vessels, building experience, and knowledge, he then decided to switch his career and joined the yachting industry in 2001. He had previously worked together with Cpt. Panos for 6 very successful years onboard two luxury yachts. He speaks fluent English and Greek. Alex enjoys spending his free time cycling & reading books. He holds both a speedboat and a scuba diver license. Chef, Fotis Koutantos Fotis was born in 1973 in Athens. He has been working on Pathos since 2018. He is married and has 3 kids. He holds diplomas in Cooking and Patisserie from the “School of Tourism Professionals” in Anavyssos. Fotis started as a chef in some of the most well-known restaurants in Athens and has been in the yachting industry since 2012. Fotis is also a consulting chef in restaurants helping with their menu structure as well as their cuisine setup and training needs. He uses his talent and knowledge of fish to create new dishes inspired by Greek and Asian cuisine. He speaks fluent English & also communicates well in Italian. During his free time when not attending cooking seminars and exploring new creations & cuisine trends, he enjoys reading. Chief Stewardess, Patra Magnisali Patra, born in 1987 in Athens, holds a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Business Management. With a rich history in yachting, she boasts extensive experience on both private and commercial yachts. Committed to professional growth, she actively participates in seminars covering silver service, barista skills, and food and wine pairing. Fluent in Greek and English, Patra balances her career with a passion for fitness, tennis, travel, cultural exploration, sailing, and hiking. Notable past yachts include M/Y Champagne Seas, M/Y L'Equinox, M/Y Riva I, M/Y Sapphire, M/Y Alexandra, M/Y Dragon, and M/Y Summer Dreams. 2nd Stewardess, Alina Lomtatidze Alina, our Second Stewardess, brings a wealth of experience to the yachting industry, boasting many years of dedicated service. With a background in hospitality, coupled with extensive onshore experience, her refined skills and graceful demeanor contribute significantly to the excellence of our Pathos interior department.Outside of her professional endeavors, Alina finds joy in various hobbies, including cycling, reading, and hiking. 3rd Stewardess, Cyril Adupe Cyril was born in 1984 in the Philippines, and for the past 17 years, she has been living in Greece. Ever since she came to Greece, she has been working in the Tourism and Yachting industry specializing in hospitality and housekeeping. Her work experience includes working at five-star hotels and luxurious yachts. Cyril has been working on yachts for the past eight years. She speaks fluent English, Filipino, and Greek. She is married and has two kids. Deckhand, Jerick Pol Reterba Jerick Pol was born in 1978, after high school graduation he left the Philippines and has been living in Greece since 2003. With various previous experiences on different sized boats he joined Pathos four years ago. Jerick is very communicative and easygoing. He has a passion for Taekwondo and mountain bike trails. Deckhand, Panagiotis Mantzavas Panos was born in 1992 in Athens, Greece and graduated from the BBA in Applied Foreign Languages in Management & Economics. After completing his studies Panos started working as Dock based worker on Tan Cruiser Serifos. Panos loves his country and he is totally convinced that every island in Greece can become a memorable place for your vacations. In his free time, he enjoys wakeboarding and snorkeling. He is fluent in English.

Fluent in both English and Greek, his engaging sense of humor adds to the enjoyment. Beyond his maritime career, Captain Spyros is a certified PADI diver, indulging his passion for underwater exploration. This, combined with his diverse nautical background, ensures an unforgettable voyage. In Captain Spyros's capable hands, your maritime journey transforms into an immersive experience guided by expertise and a flair for the extraordinary. Fluent in both Greek and English, he has served on notable yachts like M/Y Champagne Seas, M/Y Mamma Mia, M/Y Velvet,and M/Y Perseus.<br /> <br /> Chief Engineer, Alexandros Karsanidis (Alex)<br /> Chief Engineer Alexandros was born in 1972 in Athens, Greece, and graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy in Athens. He has worked with Captain Panos in the past and joined M/Y PATHOS in 2017. He is married and has 2 children. Alex commenced his career onboard tanker vessels, building experience, and knowledge, he then decided to switch his career and joined the yachting industry in 2001. He had previously worked together with Cpt. Panos for 6 very successful years onboard two luxury yachts. He speaks fluent English and Greek. Alex enjoys spending his free time cycling & reading books. He holds both a speedboat and a scuba diver license.<br /> <br /> Chef, Fotis Koutantos<br /> Fotis was born in 1973 in Athens. He has been working on Pathos since 2018. He is married and has 3 kids. He holds diplomas in Cooking and Patisserie from the “School of Tourism Professionals” in Anavyssos. Fotis started as a chef in some of the most well-known restaurants in Athens and has been in the yachting industry since 2012. Fotis is also a consulting chef in restaurants helping with their menu structure as well as their cuisine setup and training needs. He uses his talent and knowledge of fish to create new dishes inspired by Greek and Asian cuisine. He speaks fluent English & also communicates well in Italian. During his free time when not attending cooking seminars and exploring new creations & cuisine trends, he enjoys reading. <br /> <br /> Chief Stewardess, Patra Magnisali<br /> Patra, born in 1987 in Athens, holds a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Business Management. Committed to professional growth, she actively participates in seminars covering silver service, barista skills, and food and wine pairing. Fluent in Greek and English, Patra balances her career with a passion for fitness, tennis, travel, cultural exploration, sailing, and hiking. Ever since she came to Greece, she has been working in the Tourism and Yachting industry specializing in hospitality and housekeeping. Her work experience includes working at five-star hotels and luxurious yachts. Cyril has been working on yachts for the past eight years. She speaks fluent English, Filipino, and Greek. She is married and has two kids. <br /> <br /> Deckhand, Jerick Pol Reterba<br /> Jerick Pol was born in 1978, after high school graduation he left the Philippines and has been living in Greece since 2003. With various previous experiences on different sized boats he joined Pathos four years ago. Jerick is very communicative and easygoing. He has a passion for Taekwondo and mountain bike trails. <br /> <br /> Deckhand, Panagiotis Mantzavas<br /> Panos was born in 1992 in Athens, Greece and graduated from the BBA in Applied Foreign Languages in Management & Economics. After completing his studies Panos started working as Dock based worker on Tan Cruiser Serifos. Rose Damen, managing director of Damen Yachting, calls the 262-footer a “crossover superyacht” that throws out the idea that an explorer yacht has to look like a modified research vessel. The exterior of the new 80M, depending on the designer, can range from a slightly rounded superstructure to extreme curves.

The three exterior choices come from Azure Yacht Design (pictured), Harrison Eidsgaard, and Espen Oino, while the interiors are by Harrison Eidsgaard (pictured), Winch Design, and Reymond Langton. The designers all worked independently with Damen to create designs that would fit into a core platform.

The Dutch builder then pre-engineered the different interiors and exteriors so they can be interchangeable, depending on how the client wants to design it—another trait that is new to the rigid explorer design. The stern area can also be configured in multiple ways, from an enclosed helicopter hangar (with a helipad on top), to double tender garages, to a gym and wellness center, or even a dive center.

Ben Harrison, cofounder of U.K. designer Harrison Eidsgaard, presented his firm’s interior concept, a sprawling New York-loft-style design that makes use of the tall ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, open-plan spaces, loose designer furniture, and even a fireplace. “We can play with the spaces and reallocate them according to the owner’s wishes, without having major implications for the technical design of the yacht,” said Harrison.

The new 80 also has some shared un-explorer-like features, including an enclosed observation lounge and open nook on the bow, as well as a crow’s nest that stands nearly 100 feet above the vessel. “It’s an intimate space that allows for 360-degree views of the water,” said Tintore.

Despite the unusual exterior and interior offerings, says Tintore, the 262-footer retains the Xplorer line’s DNA. The vessel is designed to stay off-grid for 40 days at sea. Tintore noted that the original concept of these vessels being solely polar explorers has also been thrown out the window. Since the first was launched in 2015, Damen owners have visited tropical destinations with their expedition yachts.

The flexible layouts, adds Tintore, allows owners to configure their boats to match the conditions where they’ll be cruising. The new design should prompt competitors to reexamine their own explorer concepts and hopefully inject more flexibility—and fun—into their creations.

When Lau is not busy with his mechanical duties, he is helping out the deck team in any way he can to ensure top-notch service is being met at all times. In his spare time, you can find Lau playing the guitar but his greatest passion is meeting people from around the world who all have a different perspective on life. Renan D'Abreu Figueiredo – Bosun Education/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Postgraduate in Finance, STCW, PSA, PBL2, PWI, YMO Languages: Portuguese, English, and Spanish Nationality: Brazilian Renan hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Living in a big city by the sea, he grew up doing water activities such as surfing, snorkeling, and fishing, which has led him to have a strong connection with the ocean. As a kid, Renan was always into sports playing many of them along the years including, soccer, volleyball, different martial arts, horse riding, and many more. Renan started boating in 2018 and sees the yachting industry as an opportunity to build a career at the place he likes the most, the ocean. He has now worked onboard M/Y ODYSSEA, M/Y FAR FROM IT, M/Y ALEGRIA and others. Prior to entering yachting, Renan worked as a Business Management Consultant. Renan wants all guests to experience a sense of happiness that they have never felt before. In the coming years, he wants to work his way up to captain, running his own charter program out of exotic destinations. During his free time, Renan likes reading, running, weight lifting and enjoying the beach. His greatest passion is traveling and discovering different places. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. Walk Though:

On the SUNDECK above the wheel house is a large lounging settee which occupies the rear area directly under the radar arch with lounge chairs, and teak cocktail tables.

Forward is a smart observation deck with comfortable seating and lounges. Centerline Jacuzzi.

The UPPER DECK has a center walkway to the FOREDECK where a tender is stowed along with two personal watercraft, kayaks, etc., and cranes are located on the foredeck. Storing the tenders on the bow allows the tenders to be stored without disturbing guests.

The WHEELHOUSE is finished in teak and with a teak floor. The visibility is excellent. There are two large helm chairs and a large 4 person curved settee aft. The wheelhouse features an array of monitors that can be switched to monitor various systems. The monitoring system was updated in October 2015 to a new state of the art Maretron system. 

The CAPTAIN’S CABIN with queen bed and bathroom leads off the SHIP’S OFFICE on the port side. A privacy door leads back from the bridge to the sky lounge. A Dayhead is located right side.

Behind the bridge is the SKY LOUNGE, which includes a full bar and round card/dining table on the port side with large seating areas on the starboard side. The sky lounge opens to a sky lounge deck set up for alfresco dining for eight with a teak dining table and full awnings. Coffee table and teak and rattan lounge chairs and couch.   A beautiful curved stairwell located forward of the sky lounge leads down to the main deck and guest accommodations.

Forward of the main deck stairwell is the formal DINING ROOM. A six foot table seating 8 is centered between elegantly curved half walls. The result is a feeling of intimacy and enclosure while maintaining the openness of the main deck. The table was custom made in England and the room’s Matelasse chairs were hand carved in Italy.  The dining room is equipped with extensive concealed storage areas in the dining room for china and glasses. To left and right are double doors to the side deck for gracious entry to the yacht.  

Aft on the main deck is the MAIN SALON with exceptional visibility with very large windows and 7'1" (2.16m) high ceilings and traditional raised paneling. The yacht had an interior refit in 2020 and the décor speaks of style and timeless elegance. The color palette is soothing with an emphasis on textures and a pop of color. The TV and AV systems are concealed.

Double glass doors lead to the AFT DECK, with a u-shaped settee that can seat 12 for alfresco dining. The stairwell to the bridge deck is on the starboard side. This area has drop down rear enclosures and side sliding glass doors so the aft deck can be comfortable in all conditions. Stairways from the aft deck lead down to the swim platform tender and boarding area.

Forward of the dining room on the left side is a hallway that leads to the main deck dayhead and the owner’s suite. On the right side there is a privacy door with a complete butler’s pantry equipped with excellent storage, small kitchen appliances and espresso machines.

ACCODOMATIONS onboard M4 131' 1999/2020 Trident Shipworks Tri-Deck Motor Yacht

The entrance to the full width MASTER STATEROOM is on the left side. This stateroom can only be described as exquisite. High ceilings, full beam and large windows let you enjoy the beautiful sea views. The king size bed is located forward. The rear wall has excellent storage with a large walk-in closet. The stateroom is equipped with a built-in work desk and storage. Forward is a full width bathroom ensuite. The fine marble is accented with teak paneling and a full whirlpool tub and marble showers are located on the centerline, with his and hers toilets and a bidet.

The stairwell from the upper deck continues down from the main deck to the lower deck guest accommodations. At the bottom is a lovely foyer with a mosaic marble inlay, service counter and guest refrigerator. Forward is a full beam VIP STATEROOM, with a king size bed, sofa, desk dressing table and large walk in closet. The very large stateroom has excellent storage and full marble bathroom with tub and separate shower.  To starboard is a TWIN GUEST STATEROOM with an additional fold down Pullman single bed to accommodate up to three guests. There is a vanity, excellent storage and a marble bathroom with a shower.On the port side there is a GUEST STATEROOM with a queen size bed, excellent storage and a marble bathroom with a shower. A service door to the crew’s quarters from the guest cabin area allows the crew to service the cabins without having to go through the main salon. 

The main stairwell between the yacht’s three decks is located centerline between the salon and dining areas. The stairwell breaks up what would normally be a monotonous surface and at the same time, provides excellent access between the yacht’s three decks.

LOWER DECK AND FORWARD: Crew accommodations for 6 in three CREW CABINS all with private bathrooms and two single bunk beds, with an additional stateroom with double bed on the bridge deck for the captain. The crew mess is situated in the full sized galley with a large crew dining area and lounge. There is a door from the crew area into the guest staterooms allowing the interior crew to service the staterooms without having to move through the main deck.

Forward of the crew lounge is a laundry room with two washers and dryers. Under the crew area, there is extensive storage for dry stores and is equipped with a freezer facility.

The ENGINE ROOM is located aft just forward of the lazarette which houses the electrical panels and has generous storage for all diving equipment and compressors. The hydraulic gangplank exits from the right side. Access is through a large transom door and from the wide integral swim platform. The engine room is very specious with easy access to all the equipment, an engineer’s dream.
