northern sun, below deck down under, superyacht

Inside the star yacht of Below Deck Down Under season two

Television network Bravo will begin airing season two of Below Deck Down Under on 17 July, a Below Deck spin-off which follows a yacht crew over an eight-week charter season in Australia. This instalment sees Captain Jason Chambers return at the helm, cruising guests around the warm, tropical waters and colourful cays of the near-uninhabited Whitsunday Islands. Making her debut down under is Northern Sun , a Japanese superyacht with an unexpected history. BOAT takes a look inside…

Delivered in 1976 under the name Hokko Maru (“Northern Light”), Northern Sun has lived a full and fascinating life. At 50.8 metres, she was the largest yacht built by Narasaki Shipbuilding at the time and worked as an ice-class research vessel, analysing marine life and ocean currents in the North Japan Sea. The transformation from ship to superyacht came in 2006 when she underwent a two-year refit, courtesy of her new owners.

Northern Sun has the hardy constitution of an explorer, marking a departure from the first season’s white boat Keri Lee III .

When her current owners undertook renovations, they were intent to elevate her to superyacht standards while still maintaining her distinctive look. Her old windlasses are still visible on the forward deck, the master cabin has retained its original camber and even the engine room looks exactly as it did when she was a research ship. "Looks" being the operative word, of course – she’s had several system upgrades since the 70s.

Interiors include natural materials such as narra and makore wood (commonly known as cherry mahogany). This dark wood furniture and wall panelling give Northern Sun her warm, traditional feel, while the cabins themselves are dotted with the owners’ collection of travel paraphernalia. It makes for an eclectic living space, with indoor sofa seating accented by authentic Persian rugs and the formal dining room and master suite fixed with guild-frame, 19th century oil paintings. Keep an eye out for one of the owners’ most coveted pieces, a 100-year-old ship’s clock which still rings out the two-hour, maritime work shift also known as "the dog watch".

Northern Sun’s main deck is dedicated entirely to entertainment, from the al fresco dining area to the main saloon with its piano and games table. Other leisure highlights include gym equipment, a dedicated library on the lower deck and an outdoor Jacuzzi, surrounded by sun pads and lounge beds. The owners’ addition of a forward seating area during her refit allows for versatile recreation, whether the mood calls for cocktail parties or quiet, waterside contemplation.

The superyacht naturally has impressive stowing capacity, with space for scuba-diving equipment, a waterski and a two-deck-high inflatable water slide. There are also two Laser sailboats, enabling nimbler exploration along Australia’s shallow bays and coral reefs.

The owners spent ten years cruising through Southeast Asia after Northern Sun was refitted. Using the superyacht as a base for adventures, they've scuba-dived in the Andaman Sea, kayaked in the mangrove swamps of Phang Nga Bay and explored some of Indonesia’s most remote fishing islands. In 2015, they decided to put Northern Sun on the charter market, where she quickly became one of the most popular yachts available in Thailand. Now, she’s made her way across the seas to become the breakout star of Below Deck Down Under .

Captain Jason will be joined by returning chief stew Aesha Scott, working alongside a brand-new crew.

Northern Sun is currently listed with Ocean Independence , with a weekly charter starting from $161,700 and an asking price of $15,000,000.

What is the cost to charter the M/Y Thalassa?

Formerly known as the 'Keri Lee III' , the M/Y Thalassa is a luxury yacht built in 2001. The yacht's length is 181' / 55.17m, with a cruising speed of 12.5 Knots. It can accommodate up to 12 guests in its 6 cabins, including one master suite, one VIP cabin, and four double cabins. With interior design by Claudette Bonville, the yacht's features include a beauty salon, movie theatre, and gym. What can fans expect from 'Below Deck Down Under'?

It looks like fans can expect a whole lot of action on this season of 'Below Deck Down Under'. As per the synopsis of the series, "Set against the stunning backdrop of the tropical Whitsunday Islands and world-famous Great Barrier Reef in northeastern Australia, the Peacock Original series Below Deck Down Under explores the complex, often explosive dynamics of the crew and a rotating group of demanding charter guests on M/Y Thalassa. This season, Captain Jason Chambers is joined by a familiar face, fan-favorite Aesha Scott as Chief Stew, along with newcomers Chef Ryan McKeown and Bosun Jamie Sayed."

"Stews Tumi Mhlongo and Magda Ziomek are also on board with deckhands Culver Bradbury, Brittini Burton, and Ben Crawley. Setting the tone for the entire crew, the youthful, charming new captain has a hands-on leadership approach and will do whatever it takes to make sure the guests have an unforgettable vacation, including mesmerizing under-water excursions like scuba diving, snorkeling, and some close encounters with marine life. Though the dynamics on board are initially smooth sailing, a boatload of problems bubble up when the Chef immediately falls out of sync with the Chief Stew. The deck team also hits rocky waters when the Bosun's firm management style is called into question by a free-spirited team member with an aversion to rules. Meanwhile on the interior, Chief Stew Aesha learns the hard way that not everyone on her team will be motivated by her friend-first work mentality. Between charters, the yachties blow off steam by taking full advantage of Australia's world-renowned nightlife, where drama, surprising flirtations, and wild adventures heat up their well-deserved nights off," the synopsis further reads. Peacock will be premiering 'Below Deck Down Under' on Thursday, March 17.

Meet the 'Below Deck' captain: Australia-born Kerry Titheradge now calls Florida home

PALM BEACH GARDENS — The captain setting sail on a luxury super yacht in the new season of “ Below Deck ” is one of the city’s own.

Kerry Titheradge of P a lm Beach Gardens sailed off the coast of Grenada, a small island in the Caribbean, for six weeks while Bravo filmed the show’s 11th season. Its first episode premiered on Feb. 5.

The reality series follows the lives of a crew working on a yacht, the wealthy guests who charter it and the drama that arises throughout.

Titheradge previously manned a boat for one of the show’s spinoffs called “Below Deck Adventure.” It premiered in November 2022 and followed the crew as they navigated Norway’s water channels.

Who is Kerry Titheradge?

The 48-year-old was born in Brisbane, Australia. He has replaced Lee Rosbach, the captain who has been on “Below Deck” since its 2013 debut.

Titheradge’s love for the ocean has taken him around the world to the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and the Pacific Northwest. He has worked on boats for about three decades and yachts specifically for 20 years.

Titheradge moved to West Palm Beach in 2004 when he captained a boat based in North Palm Beach. He relocated to Palm Beach Gardens in 2014 because of the city’s A-rated public schools, where he enrolled his two children.

When he isn’t captaining a boat, he spends his time practicing jiujitsu with his son, taking his daughter for coffee dates, fostering Husky dogs and efoiling, which involves riding on a board that lifts up above water.

He owns a company called Yachting Concepts , which offers yacht management, captaining and engineering services.

When did Capt. Kerry start working on boats?

Titheradge got his start working on boats when his original career plan took an unexpected turn.

Titheradge grew up in Central Queensland, the outback of Australia, so he never learned to surf as a kid and he didn’t at first imagine himself working on the water.

When he was 18 years old, the company where he had an apprenticeship with hopes of becoming an electrician closed down.

“I ended up just doing whatever I could,” Titheradge said. “I walked down the street and knocked on every door until someone gave me a job.”

That eventually led him to an interview for a deckhand job on a parasailing boat. He did whatever he could to get the gig.

“(After the interview), I wouldn’t leave,” Titheradge said. “I asked, ‘Can I rinse the boat?’ and ‘Can I dry the boat?’ I just kept adding jobs. It just felt right, and they gave me the job.”

Thus, his decades-long career began.

He worked on parasailing boats, then moved on to water taxis, ferries, landing barges, tug boats, dredges and yachts. He has worked as a deckhand, steward, engineer, captain and first officer.

What does he love most about 'Below Deck'?

Titheradge loves that the show lets people see what life working on a yacht is like, especially with a crew whose members come from different places around the world.

“The cameras disappear pretty quickly for me, and I’m just doing my job,” Titheradge said. “We’re showing people aspects of the industry that people don’t know much about, but are very interested in.”

He describes his captaining style as “firm, but fair.”

“I give all of my crew members respect,” Titheradge said. “If they take my kindness as a weakness, they’re gone. But if they’re having a tough time (mentally), I want to be able to help them. Mental health is very important to me.”

Titheradge said he is grateful for the fanbase and platform that “Below Deck” has given him, which is something he never thought he would have.

He wants to use his following for good.

During the Christmas season, he raised funds and collected gift donations for families with single parents. He is also an advocate for pet adoption and shares information about fostering dogs on his Instagram page.

Any scary moments on the waters?

While out on the water, Titheradge has faced hurricanes, fires and medical emergencies among guests.

One unexpected storm raged in the middle of the night while he was cruising off the coast of Italy about 14 years ago. Lightning struck the boat and shut off its navigation, light, radio and radar equipment.

The storm lasted for hours and tossed the boat all the way to the coast of Croatia. Titheradge said he didn’t have time to get scared because he was so focused on the job at hand: avoiding a capsize.

“If you let fear ride your decision-making, you make mistakes,” Titheradge said. “It’s about planning properly, clear communication and executing it.”

How to watch ‘Below Deck,’ Season 11

New episodes of Season 11 run on Bravo at 9 p.m. ET Mondays.

If you missed an episode on cable, they release on Peacock the day after they air. Previous seasons of "Below Deck” and its spinoffs are also on the streaming service.

Below Deck Down Under’s ‘shining star’, the chief steward Aesha Scott.

Below Deck Down Under review – it’s Downton Abbey on a boat, what more could you want?

This Aussie spin-off of the US reality hit, following the crew of a luxury yachts as they cater to the needs of the super rich makes for fantastically enjoyable telly

I t was a given that the Australian spin-off of US maritime reality show Below Deck would feature some local flair. But when Channel Seven news footage from 2019 popped up halfway through the first episode of Below Deck Down Under, I was surprised and absolutely on board.

Nine years ago Bravo released Below Deck, a reality show about the crew working on luxury yachts, catering to the charter guests’ every whim in an effort to attain the elusive big tip. The show is a treasure chest of reality TV subgenres: it’s a travel show, it’s a cooking show, it’s the youthful mess of early Vanderpump Rules (crew) and the narcissistic wealth and schadenfreude of The Real Housewives (guests). It’s class politics, service industry hierarchies, tourism and melodrama. And it’s all on a boat!

Below Deck has launched a fleet of spin-offs: Below Deck Mediterranean, Below Deck Sailing Yacht and now, Below Deck Down Under, recorded on Queensland’s shores and following the crew of superyacht Thalassa. It’s all a bit Downton Abbey: downstairs are the crew’s matchbox-sized living quarters, kitchen and crew mess; upstairs on deck is the glamorous dining room, jacuzzi and luxury guest suites. After each charter, the crew let off steam on crazy nights out, with this season filmed on Airlie Beach.

The formula is standard across the franchise, with each spin-off featuring some familiar faces and a mostly rotating crew each season (or even during the season). The central unchanging force is the series captain, and this time we get Captain Jason Chambers, with his broad Aussie accent and laid-back “I’m more of a big brother than a captain” attitude.

In an effort to distinguish Captain Jason from the rest, he’s introduced as a hands-on hottie, very much in control of Thalassa as it charters the Whitsundays. So when old news footage of a 45.6-metre yacht he was captaining was shown crashing into a marina , I was overjoyed. No one was hurt and Captain Jason saved the day. But to me, it was a perfect moment for a Australian spin-off of a popular US show: is there anything we love more than watching a slow-motion crash? And now we get one at our own marina.

Captain Hands-on Hottie, aka Captain Jason Chambers.

In over 260 episodes of the Below Deck franchise, there have been countless personal and professional crashes involving crew, captains and clients. (And only a couple as literal as Jason’s.) Kicking the season off, Captain Jason endures another mechanical failure, this time one that means Thalassa can’t even leave the dock. While the captain tries to sort the issue, it’s up to the band of international yachties on board to keep guests entertained and happy.

The crew is what makes or breaks Below Deck, no matter the location or spin-off. How they respond to charter guests, and each other, is where the drama thrives. Most of the Down Under crew are green, but Below Deck Med alum (and fan favourite) Aesha Scott is back. The chief stew is undoubtedly the shining star of Below Deck Down Under, with her Kiwi sense of humour, optimism and no-shit talking giving the series the vibe it was longing for with Captain Jason. Enter her foil: American chef Ryan McKeown, whose self-professed arrogance clashes Aesha’s service-first approach, already brewing a combustible level of conflict.

But that’s not the only personality clash set up. On the first crew night out, while the alcohol is flowing and the hot tub being used by those who normally clean it, bosun Jamie has an outburst after discovering one of the female crew members already has a boyfriend. “I’ve just been told [that] every girl on the fucking boat has a boyfriend, apparently,” he says, adding that he is “not interested” in anyone else on the boat. It is uncomfortable to watch.

Similarly, it is hard to see deckhand Benny being given a “you can do better” award by the captain in front of his colleagues, wearing a disco ball helmet as a kind of humiliation. The captain and crew say it is all in good fun, but it’s hard not to see this busting someone’s balls style of management under the guise of jocular larrikinism as a classic taste of Aussie punch-down workplace culture.

We’re yet to see any truly heinous or demanding guests, but the setup for “crashes” is strong. Like a superyacht careering into a marina, there’s no stopping Below Deck Down Under now.

The first episodes of Below Deck Down Under are available to stream on Hayu in Australia and on Peacock in the US

Below Deck Down Under season 2 cast: meet the crew of the Northern Sun

Set sail with Captain Jason and his crew.

Captain Jason Chambers on the Northern Sun in Below Deck Down Under season 2

It's time to set sail again with Captain Jason and the Chief Stew Aesha on the M/Y Northen Sun in Below Deck Down Under season 2 .

This season, Captain Jason and Aesha will be joined by a new crew in the majestic waters of Cairns, Australia, as they take charter guests on unforgettable trips at the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.

UPDATE: Two crew members, Luke Jones and Laura Bileskalne, were fired after non-consensual sexual advances toward coworkers.

Let's meet the crew of Below Deck Down Under season 2.

Captain Jason Chambers

Captain Jason Chambers hails from Gosford, Australia. The Scorpio was born November 10 and has 23 years' experience in yachting. When he's not on the water he enjoys freediving and exploring, and watching Bravo's Vanderpump Rules .

When he's away on charter, he misses being near his daughter the most. His favorite charter destination is Papua New Guinea.

Captain Jason sums up Below Deck Down Under in these three words: "dramatic, wet, emotional."

Chief Stew Aesha Scott

Chief Stew Aesha Scott is from Tauranga, New Zealand. The Sagittarius was born November 27 and has 8 years' experience in yachting.

She's an avid hiker and loves doing yoga and reading, and she also loves enjoying a  cocktail while reading a good book in the sun. When she's not working on charter, she sneaks away to send a message to family or take a nap.

While cleaning the bathroom isn't the most fun, Aesha enjoys the ability to have some alone time while getting her work done and the guest bathrooms are the best place for that. She shares that many people don't believe it when she says stews don't spend a lot of time outside while on charter, and that's why they're not as tan as you might expect.

She sums up season 2 with these three words: "unexpected emotional rollercoaster."

Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph

Chef Tzarina is from Bristol, England. Born April 13, she's an Aries with 4 years of yachting experience.

When she's not on the boat she enjoys a good night out with friends and meeting new people. When she's in her room during a break she enjoys watching movies, sleeping and sneaking a few snacks, or enjoying the latest ship gossip. Her favorite charter destination is Antigua.

Tzarina took one look at the Northern Sun and thought, "Is this the Antiques Roadshow on water?"

Deckhand Adam Kodra

Deckhand Adam is a Brooklyn, New York, native. He was born on December 31, which makes him a Capricorn. He's a new yachtie with only a year of experience, but he learned how to navigate using the stars so he's ready to take on the high seas on the Northern Sun.

He misses his family when he's on charter, and though he works on boats he's known to get seasick. His favorite destination is Fitzroy Island, Australia.

Stewardess Margot Sisson

Stewardess Margot is a Seattle, Washington, native. She was born August 28, which makes her a Virgo, and she has 2 years of yachting experience. She loves exploring new cities and finding all of the good bakeries.

She's friends with Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Natasha DeBourg, and when she's not on charter she enjoys watching Bravo.

Once on charter a guest asked her to pop a zit on his back, but it was actually a boil.

If she could trade places with another Below Deck member, it would be Courtney Skippon because she's always surrounded by "scenic views, self-care, nature, good food and the people she loves most."

FIRED: Stewardess Laura Bileskalne

UPDATE: Laura was fired for making non-consensual sexual advances toward fellow co-worker Kodra, and for being critical of the decision to fire Luke instead of giving him a warning.

Stewardess Laura is a native of Riga, Latvia. This Taurus was born May 15 and has 3 years of yachting experience. She enjoys dancing, playing pool, concerts and hiking when she's not on charter. She's a fan of all the Bravo shows.

Her favorite destination on charter is Key West, Florida, and one thing that might surprise people about working on a boat is that the crew doesn't spend much time in the water. She points out that the crew doesn't have a luxurious life like their guests.

Deckhand Harry Van Vliet

Deckhand Harry hails from Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. His birthday is April 1 and he's an Aries with 3 years of yachting experience. When not on charter he enjoys scuba diving, surfing, wakeboarding, camping and anything outdoors. His special trait is being able to make friends with everyone.

When he's away on charter he misses his friends and good pub food.

When he first saw the Northern Sun he thought it was a great adventure boat and he loved it. His favorite destination is Puerto Escondido, Mexico.

FIRED: Bosun Luke Jones

UPDATE: Luke Jones was fired after making non-consensual sexual advances toward a fellow crew member.

Bosun Luke calls Gold Coast, Australia, home. Born June 19, this Gemini has 7 years of yachting experience. He enjoys networking, skydiving and anything that gets him in the water.

He feels like the world is his home so he doesn't miss being away. He was lucky enough to be based in the Seychelles for four years.

When working on boats, he notes that you're isolated from friends and family. But it's also about opening the mind to new people and experiences. "You're going with the wind letting yourself be free with the travels."

Below Deck Down Under season 2 airs Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht brings Captain Glenn Shephard as he leads his crew aboard Parsifal III, a 180-foot long luxury sailing yacht. As the first charter of the season commences, each crew member feels the pressure to handle their own respective jobs, which are often complicated with scenarios like crew rebellion, demanding guests, tricky romances, impromptu weddings, and the repercussions of wild partying and over-the-top antics.

But whatever the case may be, you can expect the Below Deck team to soar above challenges, regrets, and all kinds of awkward encounters as a result of a drunken personal fight or romantic feelings not reciprocated, which always stings even on land!

In Season 4, we’re introduced to additional cast members as our new adventurous yachties, including Chef Ileisha Dell, stews Lucy Edmunds and Mads Herrera, and deckhands Chase Lemacks and Alex Propson.

Since 2013, Below Deck has been captivating TV audiences across the globe by offering a voyeuristic peek into life on board multi-million dollar luxury charter yachts . Taking readers behind the scenes, YachtCharterFleet identifies the yachts featured on the show, as well as those which have appeared on the celebrated spin-off series Below Deck: Mediterranean , Below Deck: Sailing , Below Deck: Down Under and the latest iteration, Below Deck: Adventure .

Bravo’s hit reality TV series Below Deck chronicles the lives of crew members who work and reside aboard a luxury yacht during the charter season.

Each season features a different crew configuration, and the episodes show how the crew members interact and deal with personal issues alongside their working lives. The seasons are filmed over six weeks, with every episode featuring a new group of charter guests.

Getting even closer to these Below Deck superstars, we take a look at each of the stand-out features of every yacht that has appeared on the show.

Below Deck (US)

Many crew members are recurring on the show;  the longest-standing is Captain Lee Rosbach, who been on the show since 2013. A fan favourite, he has been at the helm of every yacht on Below Deck and seen a number of different crew formations.

The latest Below Deck season 10 is rumoured to be his final swan song, although his legacy on the show is such that whoever replaces him will have very big shoes to fill.

Among the crew members, Chief Stewardess Kate Chastain was an integral member of the team from season two to season seven. Alongside her, Chef Ben Robinson was a permanent fixture of the crew from season one to season four, before stepping out for season five.

Throughout the course of the show, the yachts have played an important role.

Hiring a Below Deck yacht will cost from €140,000 per week - and that price doesn't include expenses such as fuel. While some of the yachts were given an alias over the course of filming, their real names can now be revealed below; as well as the exact cost to rent them.

Built in 2006 and refit to an exacting standard in 2016, the yacht boasts a range of exciting features that make her particularly appropriate for the waters of the Amalfi Coast . Indeed, her entertainment options range from a stunning selection of water toys to a sundeck Jacuzzi and a refreshingly modern interior.

IONIAN PRINCESS

Ionain Princess season 1 Below Deck Mediterranean

Premiering on 3 May 2016, the very first season of Below Deck: Mediterranean , a spin-off of the increasingly popular franchise, took to viewers' screens. This time the ‘yachties’ took care of their guests onboard the motor yacht IONIAN PRINCESS  in the Mediterranean  destination of Greece .

The starring yacht IONIAN PRINCESS was delivered from Christensen in 2005 and was later refit in 2016 and again in 2021. Truly opulent, she bears interiors that are sleekly finished with a range of warmly toned woods and plenty of comfortable furnishings. She also boasts one of the largest sundecks for a yacht of her size.

Below Deck: Mediterranean Season 1 yacht IONIAN PRINCESS is not currently available for private yacht charter vacations.

Below Deck: Sailing Yacht

This is the first time the Below Deck franchise branched away from gleaming motor yachts, with the various weather issues that sailing yachts have to contend with adding even more drama and excitement.

The design of luxury sailing yachts  also creates far more confined crew areas than we are used to seeing on the original Below Deck . In general, sailing yachts tend to feature smaller galleys, compact stew stations and cramped crew quarters which are in closer proximity to the guests’ living areas, putting crew under increased pressure to deliver their signature silver service.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

In addition, deck crew are placed in a far more demanding role, with sailing yachts requiring increased accuracy and precision to safely maneuver and plenty of deck duties taking place in the midst of guest areas.

PARSIFAL III

Sailing yacht on Below Deck

An iconic and suitable yacht for the much-loved series Below Deck: Sailing , the 54m (177ft) sailing yacht PARSIFAL III has blessed our screens for all four series of the hit maritime show.

Season 1 saw the sailing yacht cruising around the beautiful islands of Greece , an  East Mediterranean destination that is peppered with an incredible variety of islands. Season 2 was set around the glistening waters of Croatia and in  Season 3 of Below Deck Sailing , M/Y PARSIFAL III came back to where she traditionally charters in the beautiful Balearic island of Menorca . For the latest Below Deck: Sailing Yacht season she ventured around the glittering coastline of Sardinia .

The yacht can comfortably charter up to 12 guests across 5 luxurious cabins with a layout comprising a master suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins.

Recorded on Queensland's shores, viewers can see for themselves the impeccable Australian islands and all their beauty as the superyachts, their crew and charter guests travel to some of the most sought-after destinations in the world.

NORTHERN SUN

Charter yacht NORTHERN SUN

Below Deck: Down Under  returns to our screens for its second outing, this time on board the 51m (167ft) explorer yacht NORTHERN SUN , with the coastal paradise of Cairns in Australia’s northern Queensland providing the glittering backdrop.

Headed up once more by the handsome Captain Jason Chambers, he is joined by returning chief stewardess, Aesha Scott, along with a brand new crew, including Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph, Bosun Luke Jones and stews Laura Bileskaine and Margot Sisson.

Promising another round of crew antics and high drama, the bulk of the action takes place on board the classic explorer yacht, primed for adventure and boasting a wealth of luxurious amenities and an eye-catching exterior, charter guests will be in for a treat.

KERI LEE III (AKA THALASSA)

Keri Lee III or Thalassa from Below Deck Down Under

The perfect yacht for season 1 of Below Deck: Down Under , the 55m (181ft) yacht KERI LEE is the prime candidate for anyone looking for a taste of the superyacht lifestyle. Described as being like Downton Abbey on a boat, the yacht is home to an expansive beauty salon, massage room, gym, jacuzzi and movie theater, so there is definitely enough to keep all charter guests entertained.

In the first season of Below Deck: Down Under , this yacht traveled to some pretty spectacular destinations from the Great Barrier Reef , including the Whitsunday's , Hook Island, Block Reef and Henning Island, giving charter guests the opportunity to witness the outstanding beauty and clear waters of the Pacific .

Below Deck: Adventure

Airing its inaugral season at the end of 2022, Below Deck: Adventure brings more drama than ever before as the show takes viewers beyond the deck and off the yacht as thrill-seeking charter guests embark on a range of extreme and unforgettable experiences around the Norwegian Fjords. Some of the activities include paragliding, exploring unique caves and taking extreme helicopter rides, Below Deck: Adventure provides endless entertainment as well as giving viewers a glimpse of the astonishingly beautiful landscapes in and around  Norway .

In  Below Deck: Adventure season 1, Capt. Kerry Titheradge leads the crew with Jessica Condy as Chef and Faye Clarke as Chief Stew.

As seen in season 1 of Below Deck Adventure , the 49m (164ft) motor yacht MERCURY is a high-quality and highly reliable Dutch-built luxury charter yacht. Delivered by Amels in 2001, the yacht is to the highest standard and pedigree and boasts a wealth of convivial spaces, perfect for relaxing, unwinding and socializing onboard.

Home to an impressive array of amenities, standout highlights include an expansive Jacuzzi, a large swim platform for easy access to the water and a gym. An advanced stabilization system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

Below deck down under: what to know about the upcoming show.

Below Deck has decided to expand its filming to Australia with the spinoff Below Deck: Down Under. This spinoff follows Below Deck: Sailing Yacht.

The successful Below Deck franchise is expanding again and we're here to talk about the upcoming show,  Below Deck Down Under . This show is filmed in Australia and it features a crew of eager cast members who are willing to put their skills to the test in a rather remote location. It will air on the Peacock streaming service. Bringing the new show to Peacock will help the streaming platform to attract new viewers and entertain existing viewers.

Since the original Below Deck launched, the spinoffs have expanded.  Below Deck Med  and Below Deck Sailing Yacht  feature different locales and crews. The spinoff crews are willing to embark on intense voyages. Below Deck   Sailing Yacht  has shown viewers that crews can be the best  but still get low tips from impossible-to-please guests. In other cases, crew members get close because they have chemistry. Cast members may flirt and/or hook up, which creates more drama, at least some of which is captured by cameras. Certain chief stews and captains are fine with this as long as the crew can handle the morning shift when the fun is over. Sometimes, captains find evidence, such as rule-breaking, and take action. The pandemic has not helped by mandating necessary restrictions. The action in other spinoffs leads franchise fans to believe that Below Deck Down Under is going to be very exciting.

Viewers interested in watching Below Deck Down Under  ( Below Deck   costs millions to produce , so the spinoffs aren't cheap to film, either) will have to go to Peacock. The streaming service will be hosting the show. It was filmed in Whitsundays towards the end of April of this year. Peacock is testing these new waters after confirming that the show had been greenlit on May 13. Yacht guests will get to scuba dive in the Pacific Ocean and rough it a bit away from the typical luxuries. However, the crew may run into trouble if guests want five-star service. Viewers are optimistic about the upcoming show. Fans want to find out who the captain, chief stew, and crew members are. While photos have been released, names haven't. The cast list is pending as of the week of May 23, 2021.

Below Deck  viewers are familiar with Australian crew members. Hannah Ferrier, who recently left the show to focus on caring for her family, was entertaining to watch, but a little controversial. Sydney resident Izzy Wouters came out as a lesbian and inspired LGBTQ+ viewers and others. She was proud to reveal her sexuality and to politely turn down all of the men who hit on her via Instagram. Fans admire Izzy and follow her online to see  how she is doing after season 8 .

The Below Deck spinoff journey will certainly be exciting. Maybe it will even be a little bit dangerous. Every crew member will need to be on the alert, to protect themselves, the crew, and charter guests. Australia's land and ocean are beautiful and thrilling. The Great Barrier Reef is filled with many species of wildlife, including the Blue-Ringed Octopus and the Box Jellyfish. The land has its own share of hazards and unique features, from spiny trees to territorial koalas to multiplying rabbits. During one year, flooding in Brisbane caused a shark invasion. In such a region, the Below Deck Down Under drama is practically guaranteed.

‘Below Deck’ Sails Into a New Era

With a different captain at the helm and new production elements, the reality show about charter yachts is switching up its style.

A man in a crew member suit stands behind a bar and tends to flowers in a vase.

By Shivani Gonzalez

Starting a new season of “ Below Deck ” can be similar to returning to summer camp as a kid — you know it’s going to be fun and that you’ll be in the same environment, but some of the people will be different and you’re not quite sure what the vibes will be.

This time around, in particular, feels that way because for the first time in the show’s 11-season run, Captain Lee Rosbach is no longer at the helm. It’s a pivotal moment for a franchise that has become one of the most popular entities in the sprawling universe of reality TV since premiering on Bravo in 2013 . The show’s appeal was built on endless romances between various crew members (“boatmances,” as they came to be known), horrible charter guests and some sort of passive-aggressive fight about how many shackles of the anchor chain should be in the water. And there was always Rosbach presiding over the drama as he trudged around the boat, reeling off one liners like “I’m madder than a pissed-on chicken” and “we screwed the pooch so many times we should have a litter of puppies running around.”

At the center of the show now is Kerry Titheradge (the stern yet goofy captain of “Below Deck Adventure” fame), who is managing the Motor Yacht Saint David with the cheeky chief stew Fraser Olender by his side.

With that change in captain, the energy on the boat — both onscreen and off — is different, according to Olender.

“I feel like Kerry this season, as opposed to Lee, has a no B.S. attitude, which I love with him,” Olender said in an interview. “With Kerry, he taught me a lot and sort of forced to me confront issues directly with my team, work them out, as opposed to making executive decisions too soon.”

This shift in management style changes the central conflict — whereas the drama once focused on the captain swiftly kicking out any unpleasant crew member (as we might have seen with Rosbach), the drama now focuses on the whole crew trying to get along (since Titheradge gives people those second chances).

Additionally, Olender noted that the captain’s relationship with the crew can also affect the drama on board.

“Captains absolutely do get involved, whether they know it or not,” Olender said, adding that for the crew, everything is about “trying to impress your captain.”

This phenomenon plays out early in the new season when the lead deckhand, Ben Willoughby, called out a fellow crew member over the radios about not wearing a life vest — something he easily could have done in private. The drama that followed became an interpersonal conflict between the two of them, both with the ultimate goal of impressing Titheradge. (Of course, the two deckhands had kissed on the previous crew night out, which is more in line with the “Below Deck” drama viewers are used to.)

For “Below Deck” showrunners, the changeovers in the cast allowed them to rethink what the show would look like.

From the season premiere, it was immediately apparent that Rosbach’s absence wasn’t the only change this season: The filming is sleeker, the daily, multicourse meals prepared by the chef are given their own glamour shots and the cameras sometimes cut to the perspectives of yachties running around on deck and through the galley.

“Our showrunner, Lauren Simms, is an avid consumer of all different kinds of media,” Noah Samton, a senior vice president of unscripted current production for NBCUniversal, said in an interview. “She pitches us different ideas on how to stylistically evoke different feelings and change the mood a little bit of ‘Below Deck’ without removing what really works.”

Moving through the rest of the season, and potentially through seasons to come, Olender is aiming to bring a cutthroat management style while also bringing affection for his stews, all with his signature British humor.

On Bravo’s side, there are changes in the works for the other “Below Deck” spinoffs — including “Sailing Yacht,” “Mediterranean” and “Down Under” — which collectively, have 26 seasons. Specifically, Samton said that “Down Under” is currently filming and that even though fans should be ready to see new things, the show will stay true to its original concept.

“These are real yachties doing a real job so you have to stay within those confines because the audience isn’t going to want anything that is too produced or fake,” Samton said. “So we have to find ways to reinvent while staying true to the original concept of the show.”

And as Olender said: “I’m sure that every year if I were to work with this franchise again, that I’ll be thrown a collection of total chaotic and disastrous stews — that’s what makes it watchable.”

'Below Deck Down Under' Trailer Takes the Hit Reality Series to Australia For More Romance and Luxury Sailing

The new season features the franchise's youngest captain.

Reality TV fan favorite, Below Deck is setting sail for the land of the Great Barrier Reef and to celebrate, they’ve dropped a brand-new trailer. Throwing some shrimps on the barby and hoping to see some tropical fish, the luxury ship will be heading to Australia in the new series, Below Deck Down Under . Join some old and new faces alike when the show lands on Peacock March 17th with the first three episodes available to binge from the gate.

A much talked about franchise between fans and critics alike, the Emmy nominated Below Deck gives viewers a peek at what goes on behind million dollar vacations on grandiose yachts. Centered around the interpersonal relationships of the crew, the maritime series focuses on the team’s daily drama. Premiering in 2013, the popularity of the show landed it three spinoffs including Below Deck Mediterranean , Below Deck Sailing Yacht , and now, Below Deck Down Under .

The trailer tells viewers they can expect more of the same drama and romance that the original series is known for. In it, we are introduced to the cast of characters, including the franchise’s youngest captain, Jason Chambers . Easy on the eyes, the new captain is already making waves with some of his onboard employees. The trailer also reveals the return of a favorite Below Deck Mediterranean cast and crew member, Aesha Scott now serving as the Chief Stew - meaning she’ll be in charge of the staff who are serving the ship’s guests. Bringing in drama from every corner of the world, the boat’s crew hails from Australia, South Africa, Poland, and the United States. The rest of the crew includes Ryan McKeown , Tumi Mhlongo , Magda Ziomek , Jamie Sayed , Culver Bradbury , Brittini Burton , and Benny Crawley .

Following its launch in 2020, Peacock offered subscribers a new way to view some of their favorite Bravo shows including The Real Housewives franchises and Below Deck . In some cases, such as Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip and Below Deck Down Under , fans will only be able to stream the content on Peacock as they won’t be released to Bravo. It’s a wonderful marketing tool for the streaming service to gain a slew of more subscribers desperate for more of the best in reality TV.

Check out the trailer for Below Deck Down Under below along with the new series’ synopsis.

Here's the synopsis:

Set against the stunning backdrop of the tropical Whitsunday Islands and world-famous Great Barrier Reef in northeastern Australia, the Peacock Original series BELOW DECK DOWN UNDER explores the complex, often explosive dynamics of the crew and a rotating group of demanding charter guests on M/Y Thalassa . This season, Captain Jason Chambers is joined by a familiar face, fan-favorite Aesha Scott as Chief Stew, along with newcomers Chef Ryan McKeown and Bosun Jamie Sayed . Stews Tumi Mhlongo and Magda Ziomek are also on board with deckhands Culver Bradbury , Brittini Burton, and Benny Crawley . The deck team also hits rocky waters when the Bosun’s firm management style is called into question by a free-spirited team member with an aversion to rules. Meanwhile on the interior, Chief Stew Aesha learns the hard way that not everyone on her team will be motivated by her friend-first work mentality. Between charters, the yachties blow off steam by taking full advantage of Australia’s world-renowned nightlife, where drama, surprising flirtations, and wild adventures heat up their well-deserved nights off.

Daisy Kelliher dishes Below Deck Sailing Yacht success, reveals if she still stalks to Gary King after scandal

Daisy Kelliher on BDS Season 4

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Daisy Kelliher has dished about her success on the hit show ahead of Season 5.

Daisy has appeared on three seasons of Below Deck Sailing Yacht and helped turn the show around after a lackluster first season.

Despite a serious rift in the dream team trio of Colin, Daisy, and Gary following Season 4, fans still can’t get enough of them.

Ahead of her fourth stint on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Daisy has opened up about life following her success and how she ended up on the show.

Daisy lost her job during the COVID-19 pandemic and at the urging of friends, she applied to be on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

Speaking with The Irish Independent, Daisy admitted that a couple of weeks after applying, she was filming Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 in Croatia.

Daisy Kelliher dishes Below Deck Sailing Yacht success

Although it may seem like Daisy’s life has changed drastically since she became a staple on the sailing franchise, she insists that’s not the case.

“My life hasn’t changed dramatically, but there have been small, subtle changes – it’s been fun,” she expressed to the outlet.

As Monsters and Critics previously reported, one big change for Daisy is her new friendship with Hollywood A-list star Christina Applegate.

Daisy also looked back on her life since her Below Deck Sailing Yacht debut, admitting she didn’t think she would get the gig, but is beyond happy she did.

“The last three years have been kind of a whirlwind, I really can’t complain. I’m getting to do all my yachting work and slowly getting to do other things as well,” Daisy stated.

With her fourth season hitting Bravo airwaves this year, one can’t help but wonder how much longer Daisy will still be on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

“I’m just being a ‘yes person’ at the moment. The last few years have changed very quickly, so my attitude right now is just saying yes and seeing where things take me,” Daisy spilled. “I’ve done everything from podcasts to the show, to still doing both, so every day is very different. I don’t know what the future holds right now.”

Along with opening up about her success on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Daisy also shared if she still speaks to Gary following sexual misconduct allegations against him.

Daisy Kelliher reveals if she still talks to Gary King

Last summer, Gary was accused of sexual misconduct by a production team member. However, even before that, Daisy and Gary were at odds over things that went down during Season 4, especially her hooking up with Colin.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans have wondered where Daisy and Gary stand today following the scandal and their fallout. After all, Gary was removed from BravoCon after the allegations against him came to light, so no resolution to his and Daisy’s friendship was revealed there.

During an Instagram Stories Q&A session, Daisy asked who she talks to from the show. Dani Soares and Gary were two names Daisy brought up immediately.

Daisy Kelliher IG Story

Although she did mention she keeps in touch with others like Alli Dore, Daisy also declared that they all simply live different lives. Daisy confirmed that no other cast members from Below Deck Sailing Yacht live in London, where she resides.

Daisy frequently hangs with Below Deck stars Fraser Olender and Hayley De Sola Pinto. She also spends time with Below Deck Med alum Courtney Veale since they live in London.

The wait to see Daisy Kelliher back on Below Deck Sailing Yacht won’t be much longer. Captain Glenn hinted at when the Parsifal III crew will be back, and you can read what he had to say here.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is currently on hiatus on Bravo. Seasons 1-4 are streaming on Peacock.

Lounge on board the "Honor" luxury yacht in April 2012

How about some dreamy, aspirational travel news? Imagine: You can dine on whatever you desire, served by your private chef; whisk down a slide off a grand yacht into a warm sea; picnic on a private beach served by a doting staff; party hard in a hot tub on a deck under the stars — just like lucky guests on Below Deck, the binge-worthy TV show on Bravo and Peacock.

The series chronicles the lives of crew members who live and work aboard luxury super yachts during the charter season, serving (over-serving?) privileged new guests each episode.

I’m a super fan, and have dreamed of what it must be like to live huge on the water. Now Tropicalboat Luxury Yacht Charters & Rentals has revealed how much it would cost to either charter or buy any of the yachts featured on Below Deck , including this newest season.

“ Below Deck has brought much attention to the yachting industry over the years, highlighting the luxury lifestyles and holidays that those who charter yachts enjoy,” said Kate Kalamaga, owner of Tropicalboat.

“A truly luxurious yacht holiday is made possible at the earliest stages of curation by charter brokers, with every detail down to the number of guests per cabin on board, the number of guests-to-crew ratios and of, course, the recreational features and interiors making the difference.”

It’s possible to live the life — for a huge price. Dream on. Read on.

It’s just been announced that season 11 of Below Deck is due to set sail on February 5, 2024, and St David is the yacht of choice again — the biggest, most luxurious and most expensive ever on Below Deck. S eason 10’s and now 11’s St David costs $325,000 to charter for a week, excluding expenses (or $23,646,000 to purchase!).

Best High-Yield Savings Accounts Of 2024

Best 5% interest savings accounts of 2024.

Guests usually tip the crew anywhere between 10 to 15 percent of the charter rate. So, expect to add a maximum cost of $48,750 to the weekly charter rate of St David.

The running costs of a yacht will add to your initial investment with operating costs estimated to be 20 percent or more of the initial value. St David would incur its owner a cost of at least $4,729,000 annually to run.

This luxury super yacht is 196 feet hosting 12 guests in its six guest cabins, who can expect to enjoy first-class service from a total of 14 crew members. It features include an indoor jacuzzi, a luxury spa, an outdoor deck jacuzzi, a gym and a dance floor, alongside a Rolls Royce Limo Tender for shore trips and a multitude of recreational water toys and activities. Guests can go fishing and scuba diving or take to the waters skiing, wakeboarding, or riding jet skis.

Coming in as the second most expensive superyacht on Below Deck is My Seanna, now Starship, featured on the show’s sixth, eighth and ninth seasons.

This 185-foot luxury yacht boasts 22-carat gold brushed fittings. A finalist in The World Superyacht Awards 2012, it features two jacuzzies, a beach club, a helipad, a movie theatre and a sundeck sauna and gym. Accents of real gold and royal blue are set throughout the yacht’s interior.

The yacht hosts 12 guests in six cabins, with 11 crew members to tend to their every need. For a week on Starship, it would cost $275,000, excluding expenses, or $22,900,000 to purchase. Expect to pay approximately £41,250 in crew tips or incur around $4,580,000 in annual running costs as the owner.

The least expensive yacht to charter (a relative bargain!) is season five’s Valor, now BG, costing $146,500 per week. BG hosts 12 guests in its six cabins with a dedicated crew of 10 members. Fans will remember how season 10’s shocking discovery of concealed unregistered drugs on board resulted in the immediate dismissal of a crew member.

BG will set you back $16,000,000 to buy and is the second smallest yacht to feature on the show, measuring 153.87 feet.

Interestingly, Ohana (real name Star Diamond) is the least expensive yacht to buy, but not the smallest nor cheapest to charter, costing $160,000 per week. The yacht sleeps 10 guests in 5 staterooms, and has a crew of eight, which might explain the higher charter rate, despite its lower sale price.

Over the past few months, we've been keeping up with  Daisy Kelliher  as she's shared some smoldering swimsuit photos. From her light purple two-piece she wore while visiting Los Angeles, California, in January, to the cheeky black one-piece  she rocked in Dubai in February, the  Below Deck Sailing Yacht  cast member has been busy on the vacation front.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck Sailing Yacht on Peacock and the Bravo app .

In addition to her swimsuit photos, Daisy has also recently shared details about her travels, hopping on her Instagram page to post, yes, more swimsuit pics, but also views of the different places she visited since we last saw her on BDSY  Season 4. Keep scrolling to get all the details!

Daisy Kelliher's life update since Season 4 of  Below Deck Sailing Yacht

"February," Daisy plainly captioned a series of March 4 Instagram posts, which first showed off that stunning black one-piece in Dubai.

Elsewhere in the series, Daisy hit up the slopes in Colorado, checked out Universal Studios , partied in Los Angeles, hit up a concert in Hollywood, and also visited  Lindsay Hubbard  for the Summer House  cast member's unveiling of her new Nashville home, "Hubb House Nash."

In another Instagram post shared on March 4, Daisy revealed a carousel of images detailing her different adventures in California.

"It was another amazing week in LA. I just love how there is so much to do!" Daisy captioned the post, in which she noted how she visited Universal Studios, Mother Wolf restaurant, The Bungalow in Santa Monica, the club Lock & Key in Koreatown, the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, and Shirley's restaurant located inside the hotel. Daisy added that she saw the music group Kaskade at Avalon Hollywood for an "amazing" night out in the city.

Daisy shared several photos from her travels, including snapshots of delicious-looking food, nights in the club, and outfits for her California occasion.

Daisy Kelliher is friends with Christina Applegate

What's more, Daisy has also formed an unlikely friendship over the past few months with actress Christina Applegate, who became a big fan of the Below Deck   franchise.

"She’s a huge Bravo fan, and she reached out to me via Instagram, and was massively supportive," Daisy shared in an interview with the  Daily Mail on February 19. She said, 'Hey Daisy,' and we FaceTime and stuff. She's just so nice."

The chief stew also noted she hoped to "meet up" with Christina some day. Daisy didn't post any photos from her L.A. trip with Christina, but we wonder if they did indeed meet up during Daisy's trip.

"She's busy with her family and I know she is taking it easy, and keeping all of her energy for her [Multiple Scelorsis], but hopefully we’ll make time," Daisy concluded to the outlet.

More details from Daisy Kelliher's vacation in Los Angeles

Earlier in January, we caught up with Daisy when she visited out west. For the occasion, took to her Instagram Stories to share a view of herself taking in the beautiful sunset by the beach.

In addition to her sunset pic, Daisy also shared a snap of herself soaking up the sun on the gorgeous California beach.

Newcomer Cat Struggles to Fit in Aboard the St. David on 'Below Deck' Season 11

Outside of the show, Barbie said she doesn't think Cat should have been cast in Season 11 of 'Below Deck.'

Chrissy Bobic - Author

Mar. 12 2024, Published 9:37 a.m. ET

Before Cat Baugh joined the ranks on Below Deck , she had never worked on such a large yacht. Sure, she had experience, but the reality TV newbie probably didn't know what she was up against when she was cast in the Bravo series. Now, with issues among Cat and other St. David yachties and her inexperience getting her into trouble, you have to wonder if Cat quits Below Deck at some point in Season 11.

The eleventh season of the long-running reality show welcomes a handful of new crew members who are also new to the series as a whole. In that regard, Cat isn't alone. However, she butts heads with fellow stew Barbie Pascual early on, and things don't get easier from there. What can we say — not everyone is cut out for the super-yacht life.

Does Cat quit 'Below Deck'?

It's nothing new for a newcomer on Below Deck to succumb to the heat of working under pressure on a yacht. And, since Cat is considered less experienced than her co-workers, it would make sense for her to quit at some point in Season 11. Although she hasn't shared as much on social media or otherwise, some fans believe that filming while working on the yacht could be too much for her.

"I think we've seen a few times (and been told) where the pressure of being on camera has really gotten to crew members, and I think that's really part of it," one fan shared on reddit .

They added, "If she were with this crew but without cameras, I feel like she wouldn't be this anxious and upset."

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Cat Baugh (@simplycatmarie)

Cat and Barbie have some issues.

If the high pressure working conditions aren't enough to make Cat quit Below Deck , then maybe her ongoing issues with Barbie could lead to her leaving early. Barbie doesn't stand for what she sees as Cat's laziness and lack of attention to detail. Cat doesn't believe Barbie always gives her own full attention to work as well.

Regardless of which of the stews is a better St. David crew member, it's no secret that the ladies have had issues since the start of the season. Barbie even told Us Weekly that she doesn't believe Cat should have agreed to go on Below Deck and that Cat isn't cut out for the gig. Clearly the drama is never ending for these two.

Captain Kerry fires some staff in Season 11 of 'Below Deck.'

If Cat doesn't quit Below Deck , she might be one of the crew members who is let go before she can really get her sea legal. Captain Kerry Titheradge told Us Weekly in February 2024 that he reached a "record" in the amount of firings in Season 11. If that's true, then we would venture to say no one is safe at this point.

10 Below Deck Charter Guests Who Will Never Return To The Franchise

  • Some charter guests on Below Deck have caused unnecessary drama and won't likely return due to bad behavior.
  • Captain Glenn Shephard from Below Deck Sailing Yacht faced backlash from Barrie, who called him two-faced.
  • Former guest Dr. Francis Martinis will not return to Below Deck after he was arrested for faking prescriptions.

The Below Deck franchise has featured many charter guests since 2013, many of whom will never return . The Bravo series focuses on expensive charters with wealthy guests who have attitude problems and over-the-top demands. That includes Charter guest Alexis Bellino, who boarded Captain Lee Rosbach’s yacht with her boyfriend at the time, Andy Bohn. She was disrespectful and made everyone uncomfortable with her and Andy's PDA. She even insulted crew members after featuring on the show.

Like Alexis, Delores Flora from Below Deck season 8 was a terrible guest. Not only did she misbehave, but she also got drunk and s wam while intoxicated, which is not only not allowed, it frightened the crew members. Delores got kicked out of the yacht the next day. These guests created unnecessary drama on the boat and will likely never return like a few others from the franchise.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now

Barrie & tony, below deck sailing yacht.

Barrie and Tony Drewitt Barlow had a decent time in the Below Deck Sailing Yacht seasons 2 and 3. Despite that, they left with a bitter taste because of Captain Glenn Shephard. In 2021, Barrie participated in a podcast, Pita Party: The Podcast , where he claimed that Captain Glenn bothered him while using his phone .

Barrie said, “he (Captain Glenn) was a two-face b*stard,” adding that he just didn’t like his presence.

Below Deck Mediterranean

In Below Deck Mediterranean season 7, Charter guest Frank Fay had a thing for second stew Kyle Viljoen. He pursued him on the yacht, but unfortunately, their relationship didn’t last. Frank will likely never return to the series as long as Captain Sandy Yawn allows Kyle to work for her. Even if Kyle quits, Frank wouldn’t want to be in an environment that would remind him of his failed relationship.

Erica Rose appeared on Below Deck Sailing Yacht two seasons in a row. Erica was highly offensive toward the crew member, as well as her husband, Charles Sanders, and to make things worse, she left the crew with a measly tip , leading fans to slam her on social media. Ultimately, Erica had to apologize for her bad attitude but never returned to give the crew the tip they deserved. Nobody on Below Deck Sailing Yacht would ever want to return.

Justin Guarini

Justin Guarini’s time on Below Deck Sailing Yacht was not dramatic at all; however, he’ll probably never return to the series. Justin wouldn’t return because he wasn't the primary guest. He joined his friend, Kim, who wanted to enjoy a luxury yacht trip. It was more of a one-and-done deal. Secondly, nobody recognized him at all. Viewers later realized who he was and how he was the runner-up on American Idol season 1. Justin is a theatre artist and has made a name for himself. However, it was embarrassing that so many fans had no clue who he was .

Below Deck: 8 Charter Guests With The Worst Attitudes

Johnny damon.

Johnny Damon’s time at Below Deck Med was full of explosive moments. Once, he sent the food back, citing that the experience wasn’t “five stars.” On another occasion, his wife, Michelle, created drama by yelling at the owner of another yacht . Overall, the experience was simply terrible on both sides. Crew members didn’t love Johnny and his wife, and the couple didn’t respect the crew members. It is unlikely that Captain Sandy would want to host the couple again as long as she’s in charge.

Krystal Murphy

Former charter guest Krystal Murphy boarded Captain Lee’s yacht with her friends. She immediately began showing red flags, drinking, and just being a menace. Krystal fought with her friend, Chelsea, creating unnecessary drama. She even passed out and punched a friend in the face. Former Chief Stew Kate Chastain disliked serving Krystal and called her a “spoiled brat;” she wanted to throw her off the yacht. Nowadays, Krystal has seemingly become a more private person. It doesn’t seem like Krystal would want to be on TV again.

Steve Bradley

Below Deck fans should remember Steve Bradley as he made many appearances on the show. In Below Deck season 3, he wanted a foam party and demanded the crew to figure it out and follow his commands, acting like a king. In Below Deck season 6, Steve made more outrageous requests. Apart from being a wild guest, Steve was entitled and acted inappropriately at times . No Below Deck captain would want to host him again as he didn't come off as very likable.

Dr. Francis Martinis

Below deck mediterranean & below deck sailing yacht.

Dr. Francis Martinis from Below Deck Med and Below Deck Sailing Yacht has a zero chance of returning. While the former charter guest didn’t have too many issues on the show, his personal life issues will stop him from appearing on Bravo again. According to TMZ , Dr. Francis and his wife, Jessica, were arrested for filling out fake prescriptions in December 2023 . The couple used the names of Below Deck stars and got caught red-handed. The Below Deck franchise would never want to welcome felons, especially when their mugshots are all over the internet.

Below Deck airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
