We love the Yacht Club! We picked it the first time based on details - distance to the parks, reviews, etc - were not disappointed.

The Yacht Club's rooms are decorated in white with blue and brass accents. The most recent update also replaced carpeting with vinyl "hardwood" floors, freshening the rooms' look.

Dining isn't a strength at Yacht Club, but tons of options are short walk away at EPCOT or the four other resorts.
Ale & Compass Restaurant The cuisine is advertised as “New England comfort food.” Reader ratings have improved substantially over the years, without compromising the diversity of the menu.
Yachtsman Steakhouse Open for dinner only, Yachtsman Steakhouse serves up steak, seafood, and sides. This is a signature restaurant that tries to create an atmosphere, so expect high prices and to adhere to a minimal dress code.
Market at Ale and Compass A small spot carved out of the gift shop, the Market has coffee, pastries, and other small items.
Ale and Compass Lounge Ale & Compass is a competent restaurant, the kind of place you'll be happy to find at dinnertime if it's raining and you don't want to go outside; or everyone is starving and you need to eat right now. Ale and Compass is a better choice for breakfast. You'll find something for everyone in various combinations of eggs, potatoes, bacon, tofu, French toast, and so on, with a la carte options if you just want a quick bite.
Crew's Cup Lounge The Crew’s Cup Lounge is one of the better bars in Walt Disney World, although the reason for that statement is hard to explain. The entire room just feels...well, cool. It starts when you approach the door, which is found in the Yacht Club’s hallway, heading towards the Beach Club Resort. One of the things that makes Crew’s Cup cool is the understated sign hanging in the hall, a few steps up, as well as a plain door. The facade is easily overshadowed by the Yachtsman Steakhouse, but that secret, speakeasy style entry makes it a little hard to find, and we all know that the coolest places don’t need to advertise. Walking in you immediately notice the theme, which is rowing, but are not overwhelmed by it. There are a few images of rowers here and there and a few oars along the walls, but it is mostly just a quaint, slightly dark, overwhelmingly wood-paneled lounge. The rowing theme obviously fits in with the Yacht Club Resort and the Crew’s Cup looks as if it would be a place that a crew team would hang out after practice. While many Americans do not think of crew or rowing as major sports, it certainly has a long history in the United States. It began as soon as the English landed, having been popular there several centuries prior. Yale University boast the oldest American college crew club, started in 1843, and the Harvard versus Yale regatta is the oldest intercollegiate sport in the U.S. It is so old in fact (started in 1852), that it had to be paused during the American Civil War! The entire Crew’s Cup Lounge hints toward this history. The shell (or boat to you landlubbers) hanging from the ceiling is a common place for storage when there are no racks. The oars along the walls are each painted differently, which is how a team identifies itself (although these oars match no teams that we could find). Even just the exposed rafters and craftsman touches point toward a New England style around the year 1900. For those interested in what goes on in a kitchen, there is a window that looks into a section of the Yachtsman Steakhouse’s back of house. Often during dinner time you will see a prep chef getting ready for the mealtime rush. Once you decide to have a seat, there are a few different options, with seats at the bar, a handful of booths, a few tables and chairs, and also a few couches. Whether you are there for dinner, relaxation, or to watch the television, you will find a seat to match. Speaking of dinner, there is both food and drink aplenty, although the drink list is our one big knock on The Crew’s Cup as it follows the standard Disney drink menu. The food here is above average and consists of hearty appetizers, burgers, and chicken tenders. Nothing fancy, but good quality and decently priced (for Walt Disney World). The Crew’s Cup Lounge is not often mentioned as a favorite spot, and we will hope it stays that way because that just means more room for us. After all, if everyone knows it might stop being so cool.
Fittings & Farings Fittings & Farings is Yacht Club's souvenir shop. A small selection of snacks, drinks, and other groceries are available.
Refillable Mugs Allows guest self-service soft drink refills from quick-service locations in hotels ( NOT in theme parks ) for $21.99 for the length of stay.
SWIPE TO EXPLORE
Yacht Club has Disney World's best pool - Stormalong Bay with a lazy river, fabulous water slide, and acres of water fun. Three other pools are available across Yacht Club and Beach Club resorts, for use by both Beach and Yacht Club guests.
Lafferty Place Arcade arcade is near Stormalong Bay between the Yacht and Beach resorts. It features relatively recent video games of all kinds.
Free Disney Movies Under the Stars are shown most evenings, weather-permitting, either at the Beach Club Beach, or in the Solarium.
The Ship Shape Fitness Center has weights, treadmills, and other equipment for your workout. Hours are typically 6 AM to 9 PM. Joggers will enjoy the 0.8-mile loop around Crescent Lake too.
The Beach Club Beach hosts marshmallow roasts around 5:30 PM nightly. It's really great during the cooler months of the year.
Disney resort guests get into each theme park 30 minutes earlier than off-site guests, every day.
Those staying at Disney's Deluxe and Deluxe Villa hotels can buy Lightning Lane via Individual Purchase at 7:00 a.m. each day. Others cannot make that purchase until the official park opening time.
Disney's Deluxe and DVC resort guests get two extra hours in select theme parks on certain days of the week. The schedule changes, so check with the front desk.
Practical Matters
Check-in is 4:00pm Check-out is 11:00am
All Disney resorts participate in Disney’s Online Check-In program. If you’ve checked-in online and provided a mobile phone number or email address, you will receive your room number electronically. Then you can go straight to the room and use your smart phone or MagicBand to open the door, skipping the lobby altogether.
These rubber and plastic wrist bands can function as your room key, park admission, charge card, and more! MagicBands cost money, but if you'd like a free option you can use the official Disney World app on your phone or request an RFID-embedded card at the front desk.
Park tickets are best purchased online in advance either directly through Disney or via our Least Expensive Ticket Calculator . However, if you arrive without park tickets, head to the concierge desk in the hotel lobby.
Dining reservation are best made online in advance or on your phone or tablet during your visit. You can also use our Disney World Reservation Finder .
Washers and dryers are availabile in laundry facilities at each Disney World hotel. Cost is $3 per wash, and another $3 per dry cycle. A small selection of soap, fabric softener, and dryer sheets are also sold, for around $1 each. Only credit/debit cards can be used for payment. For more information, see our Disney World Laundry Facilities page.
If you lose something in a theme park or during your stay at a Disney-operated hotel, visit Disney's Lost and Found website or call (407) 824-4245.
Disney hotels have gifts shops near their lobbies with a decent collection of Disney-branded souvenirs. You will also find basic pharmacy items such as sunscreen, aspirin, allergy and cold medicine, baby diapers and formula, shampoo, and the like. Resort hotels with Deluxe Villa rooms offer an assortment of groceries, as well.
Disney recommends a third party company, Kid's Nite Out , to provide babysitting services at the resort hotels. See our Disney World Child Care page for more information.
The Yacht Club is located in the EPCOT Resort Area. All modern GPS apps, and Google Maps, will have clear driving directions to it. As a backup, look for Disney road signs directing you toward the EPCOT resorts (not EPCOT) once you're on property, and then look for signs for the Yacht Club once you're close.

Disney Skyliner gondola system has a station at EPCOT's International Gateway entrance. The ride to Hollywood Studios is about 12 minutes (plus waiting time in line).
Disney provides free bus service to the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, and Disney Springs from the bus stop at the front of the resort. Buses run about every 20 minutes. For all destinations except the Magic Kingdom, it's probably faster to drive or walk.
If you have your own car , it's faster to drive yourself to Disney's Animal Kingdom, the Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach water parks, and Disney Springs. Disney's transportation system is faster to the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
EPCOT is a short walk from the Yacht Club, and the walk to Hollywood Studios is just a little longer.
Disney provides free boat service to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios from the resort.
You can walk between the Beach Club, Yacht Club, BoardWalk, Swan, Swan Reserve, and Dolphin. Boat service is available to all of those, too, except the Swan Reserve. The Skyliner at EPCOT's International Gateway can take you to Caribbean Beach, Riviera, Pop Century, and Art of Animation. For all other resort destinations, the fastest option is an Uber, Lyft, or taxi. Disney's bus service is free but slow, and will probably require you to use an intermediate destination like Disney Springs, to get to your destination. And that can take a couple of hours each way if you're unluckly.
if you have a car, the easiest way to get to Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, and other tourist destinations is to drive. Alternatively, Mears Transportation operates shuttle services between the Disney hotels and other theme parks.

At Disney’s Yacht Club Resort , all rooms have a full balcony or patio.
Enjoy the close proximity to Epcot’s World Showcase . While there is a boat launch available at Epcot, you can get there faster by walking.
You can access Disney’s Hollywood Studios by boat. You may also enjoy a brisk walk around the BoardWalk down to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In general, you may find the boat ride shorter than walking to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
These resorts offer one of the best pools on Walt Disney World property. While separate, the Yacht & Beach Club Resorts share the pool area. There is a “shipwreck” that offers the entry point to the main water slide. Some areas of the pool have a sandy bottom.
These resort hotels are located near the BoardWalk, offering a short walk to additional restaurants and nightlife that do not require park admission.
Sometimes Disney’s bus transportation may share buses with the other resort hotels in the Epcot area around the BoardWalk. If you find yourself stopping at multiple stops, you may want to get off at the first stop and just walk the rest of the way. This is sometimes quicker than stopping at each resort hotel if the bus loop is being shared with multiple resorts.

Top 15 Things You Can Do at Walt Disney World Without Purchasing a Park Ticket
I l ove the parks at Walt Disney World. You don't start writing for a Disney blog because you're indifferent to the charms of Space Mountain or Main Street, U.S.A. However, some of my favorite Disney days over the years have been the ones my family spends on property without ever setting foot inside a theme park.
Whether we're taking advantage of free time on arrival or departure days, or enjoying a mid-week break, spending time away from the hustle and bustle of the park environment is a Disney must-do for my family. Not only are there so many things to see and do that don't involve queue lines or admission tickets, but going from sunrise to sunset at the “most magical place on earth” for five days straight can lead to a not-so-magical burnout.
So, to keep spirits high and maximize your stay, I recommend finding some of your own fun elsewhere on property.

In this planning guide:
Best Ways to Enjoy Time Outside of the Parks
While dining, recreation, and entertainment options abound outside the parks, many of these can end up costing as much as park admission or more. Because one of the biggest benefits of skipping the parks is saving money, I typically like to stick to free or inexpensive activities on my “resort days,” although planning a table service meal at one of the hotels or at Disney Springs is always a nice indulgence.
These 15 ways to enjoy time at Disney World without entering the parks are not only some of the most cost-conscious but also some of the most delightful.
Enjoy Fireworks and a Parade from a Resort Beach or Boat Dock
All five Magic Kingdom area resorts offer views of the park's fireworks from the shores along Seven Seas Lagoon:
Polynesian Village Resort Grand Floridian Resort Contemporary Resort Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground Wilderness Lodge
Each of these resorts pipe in the Magic Kingdom music over their speakers during the show. Stay to watch the enduring classic Electrical Water Pageant as it processes around the lagoon. Each location provides a different vantage point and its own unique vibe. This will forever be one of my favorite ways to end a Disney day.
Go Resort Hopping
READ MORE – Best Secret HACK to Beat the Long Dole Whip Lines at Magic Kingdom!
No matter where I'm staying, I start at least one resort day with a visit to the Polynesian for Tonga Toast from Captain Cook's and a morning walk through the gorgeous Grand Ceremonial House and along the white sand resort beach. Then I head over to Pineapple Lanai for a Dole Whip, which I savor on a bench swing while I watch my kids play in the sand. It's a beloved tradition in my family.
I also often like to stop at Animal Kingdom Lodge on arrival day to visit the animals at the Arusha Rock and Uzima Savannah overlook areas. While I'm there, I like to peruse the African art, chat with cast members, and grab some Zebra Domes from the Mara. Jambo House is an amazing sight to behold, and it's worth the visit to this magnificent resort for the views of the lobby alone.
Every Disney World resort has something special to offer (some more than others), so do your homework and customize your own relaxing resort itinerary, including iconic foods, resort-specific activities, and scenes to occupy. Choose the most convenient mode of Disney transportation to get you there, or book a table service meal (or place a mobile order) at the desired resort locale and park in the lot.
Ride the Monorail, Skyliner, or a Water Taxi
Using Disney transportation is a convenient way to facilitate your resort hopping dreams, but sometimes the ride itself can be a treat. The Skyliner , Monorail , and small water taxis are novel ways to travel around the property that feel like attractions in themselves. Choose between an air lift in a colorful gondola, a speedy ride on Disney's iconic “transportation of the future,” or a peaceful boat ride along a scenic waterway.
Swim at Your Resort Pool
All Disney World resorts feature distinctively themed pools where guests can stretch their park-weary limbs, splash and play with their kids, or lounge beside the water, beverage in hand. Moderate and Deluxe resort pools also provide water slides and hot tubs for resort guests to use at their leisure. And if you're a parent like me, you might be interested in booking a resort with a water play area, like Wilderness Lodge or Art of Animation. Of course, if you're really into the aquatic life, you'll find the water park of Disney World resort pools at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club.
Meet Disney Characters
If meeting characters is a priority for you at Disney World, a non-park day is the opportune time to do it! There are a variety of character dining experiences available at many of the resorts that offer excellent cuisine and time with your favorites without the long lines you might encounter at the parks. Just make sure to book an advanced dining reservation for these to secure a table, since they can fill up quickly.
While we almost always find character dining to be worth the expense, it's definitely a hefty one. That's why our favorite way to meet characters without sacrificing time at the parks is also the most cost-effective way to do so. Chip and Dale's Campfire Sing-Along is a FREE nighttime activity over at Fort Wilderness Resort , where you can roast marshmallows, join a guitar-picking cast member in singing some familiar tunes, and meet Disney's famous chipmunk duo.
Go for a Bike Ride
If you're a fellow biking enthusiast, you likely enjoy it as much for the outdoor scenery as for the exercise, and Disney World has some really amazing scenic pathways to ride! Bringing your own bike is an option for those within driving distance, but if not, Disney has you covered with bike rentals at several Disney World resorts. Personally, my favorite place to bike at Disney World is beneath the shady pines at Fort Wilderness Resort.
Say Howdy to the Horses at Tri-Circle D Ranch
Not only is it home to a free character meet and greet and great biking, but Fort Wilderness is also where you'll find the pristine Tri-Circle D Ranch . Like most things at Disney World, this isn't your average stable. It's more like a museum dedicated to Disney horses. Come for a tour, and stay for a pony ride or trail ride.
Visit Disney Springs
Disney Springs is the place to go for dining, shopping, and entertainment at Disney World. On non-park days, we tend to alternate between counter-service dining options here—like Chicken Guy!, Morimoto Asia Street Food, and Earl of Sandwich—and our favorite table-service restaurants. While there are so many amazing food locations to explore, Raglan Road Irish Pub is my go-to for a cozy atmosphere, traditional UK favorites that always hit the spot, and live Irish music and dancing. Do yourself a favor and get Ger's Bread and Butter Pudding for dessert. It's sublime.
Enjoy a Campfire and Watch a Movie Under the Stars
Most Disney World resorts offer complimentary outdoor movie showings on a big screen throughout the week. This fun and simple experience varies according to the locale, with options ranging from poolside viewings, grassy areas for lounging, and even amphitheater benches under a Florida pine forest. Check with the front desk at your resort for showtimes.
Stroll the Boardwalk
Disney's Boardwalk is a picture-perfect homage to the turn-of-the-century beach town promenades on the eastern seaboard. It's a great place to enjoy an ice cream cone and catch some free live entertainment while taking in the atmosphere on the waterfront. Performances range from magic shows to circus-style acts like juggling and stilt-walking. End the day by making your way over to the bridge connecting Disney's Beach Club Resort to Sea Breeze Point , where you can see the fireworks from Epcot's Luminous The Symphony of Us .
Grab a Drink at a Themed Bar
Did you know you can experience some of Disney World's best theming by grabbing a drink at one of the immersive bars on property? Over at the Polynesian Village Resort, Trader Sam's Grog Grotto is a tropical oasis where you can sip on libations inspired by the islands of the South Seas while soaking up the best tiki bar vibes. Order one of the signature cocktails here, and the staff and surroundings will react with gags and special effects. You'll feel like you're imbibing inside the Enchanted Tiki Room without venturing into the Magic Kingdom.
Another bar outside the parks with a backstory is Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar at Disney Springs. This vintage aviation-styled dive is sure to excite Indiana Jones fans with its movie-themed decor, beverages, and light bites. Indy's easygoing pilot has set up shop in central Florida, filling his establishment with spare plane parts and mementos from his glory days as an adventuring world traveler. Just watch out for Jock's pet snake, Reggie, who makes an appearance in Raiders of the Lost Ark. You might notice his cage sitting on a shelf at the bar.
Finally, if you decide to visit Disney's Boardwalk during your stay at Disney World, we recommend stopping over at Abracadabar . A tribute to the golden age of magic, this sophisticated spot gives guests a glimpse into a secret lounge that once catered to famous magicians, local illusionists, and their lovely assistants. Here you'll find fewer interactive elements than at Trader Sam's, but if you enjoy the feeling of stepping into a bygone era (as I do), you'll have fun taking in all the hidden details.
Take Your Own Holiday Tour
If you're visiting Disney World during the winter holidays, you'd be remiss not to explore some of the festive decor on display at the resorts and at Disney Springs. In addition to the giant Christmas trees you'll find adorning every resort lobby, Disney World has a tradition of building gingerbread houses at select locations around the property, and they continue to add more every year! Of course, Disney Springs also decorates for the holidays with a creative variety of Disney, Pixar, and superhero-themed trees for their annual Christmas Tree Stroll. My family loves this scavenger hunt style activity! You can even earn a special commemorative pin by finding every tree on the map.
I've mentioned Fort Wilderness several times on this list already, but there's just so much to do at this underrated resort. Many campers staying here go BIG with decor at their campsites during the winter holidays and even at Halloween. If you're visiting during the holiday season, be sure to head over to Fort Wilderness to check out the elaborate lights and displays, and if you're staying at the resort on Halloween night, you can actually participate in “Camp-or-Treat,” which is now a pre-registered trick-or-treat event.
Go for a Carriage Ride
At $65 for four adults or two adults and three small children, a carriage ride is one of the more affordable types of excursion available outside the parks at Disney World. Relaxing in a horse-drawn carriage can be a fun way to explore the scenery along the Sassagoula River at Port Orleans Riverside or along the trails at Fort Wilderness Resort. If you'd prefer a more rustic outing, wagon rides are also available at Fort Wilderness for a comparable price.
Participate in Scheduled Arts, Crafts, Games, and Educational Programming
Every resort offers a variety of cast-member-directed activities and programming throughout the day, including games, arts and crafts, sports, fitness classes, cultural studies, and campfire programs. To get the most out of your stay at Disney World, take advantage of the offerings at your resort, and if you decide to go resort hopping you may even stumble upon an activity underway you can join in on. We've made Christmas ornaments out of ostrich eggshells, decorated snack-sized cakes, painted sun-catchers, played trivia and freeze-dance by the pool, earned conservation badges, and lots more! Check your resort recreation calendar for a list of weekly scheduled programming.
Explore Your Resort!
Last, but not least, don't forget to explore your particular Disney World resort! If you're staying at a value resort, take a tour of the larger-than-life icons outside your immediate area. Traverse the sprawling landscapes at the moderate resorts, and visit the various lounges and sitting areas at the deluxe resorts and villas. Sample any unique food offerings, and visit the arcades and community halls . You may discover a new favorite reading nook or antique treasure, like the turn-of-the-century clamshell mutoscope in the photo at the Boardwalk Inn. My family loves to stop by and turn the handle to view the cartoon movie reel every time we visit the resort.

4 Seriously Genius Disney World Hotel Hacks We Can’t Believe We Didn’t Think of Sooner
It may be hard to believe, but our team has stayed at EVERY SINGLE hotel at Disney World .
Disney World is home to 25 hotels and DVC Resorts , each with its own unique theming, style, and perks. After our stays at these resorts, we learned a few hotel hacks that we wish we had known before . Disney World has three different hotel levels to fit your and your party’s needs. There are Value, Moderate, and Deluxe Resorts, each offering its own benefits.
Value Resorts are the most budget-friendly and often have very vibrant theming. They are especially great for families with little kids who want to be immersed in a hotel with a theme. The rooms at Value Resorts tend to be the smallest rooms. There are five Value Resorts on the property. They are:
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort Disney’s Pop Century Resort Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
Moderate Resort s are in the middle tier, a step above Value Resorts. They offer larger rooms and more amenities than Value Resorts. There are five Moderate Resorts on the property, and they are:
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
Finally, there are Deluxe Resorts , the highest tier of resorts. While Deluxe Resorts may be the most expensive, they are placed in great locations and keep you closer to the parks. On average, these rooms are the largest on the property and offer the most benefits and amenities, like Extended Evening Hours . There are eight Deluxe hotels at Disney World and they are:
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Disney’s Beach Club Resort Disney’s Boardwalk Inn Disney’s Contemporary Resort Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
After staying at all of these resorts, we uncovered four hotel hacks that you need to know about!
Your Dog Can Stay at a Disney World Hotel
Did you know that your dog can stay at a Disney World hotel with you?! Four resorts on the property actually allow your furry friend to stay at the Most Magical Place on Earth with you!
Disney’s Port Orleans—French Quarter, The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort all allow up to two dogs per room. The cost is $50 per night, but if you are staying at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, it will be $75 per night.
Your dog will even get to go home with their own Disney souvenirs, as you will receive Pluto’s Welcome amenity.
If you are not staying at one of these four resorts or you want to bring your feline friend, you can board them at Best Friends Pet Hotel , which is located on Disney World property.
You Can Pool Hop Within Your Resort
While pool hopping used to be a big Disney tip, it is no longer allowed, but there is still a way to pool hop within your resort area!
Larger resorts like Disney’s Old Key West Resort and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort have multiple pools that you are welcome to swim at as long as you are a guest of the hotel.
But if you are staying at one of the two Port Orleans Resorts, either Riverside or French Quarter, you can use both resort’s pools! Even if you are staying in the Riverside hotel, you can hop on over to the French Quarter and swim there and vice versa.
The same goes for All-Star Resorts , and this is especially great when there is construction as that means there is still a pool you can swim at. So, if you are staying at Disney’s All-Star Music you can head on over to All-Star Sports or All-Star Movies and swim at their pools!
You Can Dine at Other Food Courts
Speaking of construction, sometimes food courts at the All-Star Resorts close for refurbishment and offer a limited menu instead of a full menu. This was just the case at All-Star Movies last month . If the food court happens to be under construction when you visit, you can hop over to the other All-Star Resorts’ food courts to order from a full menu!
Make a Day Out of Resort Hopping
You can even go to other resorts that are not in your “hotel block” to try their quick-service or table-service locations.
One of our favorite things to do is to take either the monorail or Skyliner to the other resorts to shop, dine, and drink. It can be a fun way to check out other resorts on the property and make for a more laid-back day.
The next time you book your stay at a Disney World hotel, keep these four hacks in mind to make your trip to Disney World even better. As always keep following along with AllEars.net for more Disney hacks, tips, and tricks!

Curious that Saratoga Springs is not among the listed resorts, eh?
It would be cool if someone from the YouTube team could add Best Friends Pet Hotel to a scavenger hunt video. Or if you when’t and showed everything there is that they offer.
I’m pretty sure it is Riverside for dogs, not French Quarter.
It’s not French Quarter, but Riverside where you can stay with your dog

When to Book Guests may make advance dining reservations at select restaurants.
- Guests with a Valid Disney Resort Hotel Reservation: Make reservations for your entire length of stay (for up to a 10-night stay) up to 60 days in advance of your arrival! This can help you enjoy streamlined vacation planning , since you can make all your reservations on the same day—rather than checking availability day after day.
- All Other Guests: Make reservations up to 60 days in advance.
Explore dining experiences available for booking during your vacation.
Dining in the Theme Parks To dine at an in-park, table-service restaurant, you need a confirmed dining reservation for the total number of Guests—regardless of age—along with a park reservation and valid admission for the same park on that same date for each Guest ages 3 and up.
Dining reservations do not guarantee access to a park, and Park Hopper availability may change daily. We recommend that Guests book in-park dining at the park where they have a park reservation.

Where to Charge your Phone in California Adventure
The Nearly-Complete list of Guest-Accessible Electrical Outlets in California Adventure Park
By Rob Cockerham | February 24, 2019
Here are some photos of electrical outlets in Disney's California Adventure. Some weatherproof outlet covers are actually covering audio cable connections, so be prepared for that disappointment.
These outlets are near the drinking fountains on Buena Vista Street.
This outlet is on the wooden Pixar Pier, by a store called "Knick Knacks", the Lamplight Lounge and the Character Gazebo.
About a fourth of the green light posts throughout California Adventure have electrical outlets on them.
Here is an outlet on the exterior of Disney's Animation Academy on Buena Vista Street. The Fremont list describes other outlets inside this building.
- Four outlets outside on the East facing wall of Animation Building
- Two outlets in the Zoetrope room on the floor in the Animation Building
- Multiple outlets in hallways entering and exiting Animation Building
- Hallway of Sorcerers Workshop in the Animation Building
This one is basically in a restricted area outside the line at Ariel's Undersea Adventure.
This one is also probably impossible to reach at Guardians of the Galaxy Escape.
The Fremont list also describes other outlets inside Guardians of the Galaxy Escape: 3 outlets in Tower of Terror one next to the elevator on the far right one next to a bench in the exit hallway & one on the right of the exit of the gift shop .
There is a penny smashing machine next to the exit. I bet there is a free outlet where that machine is plugged in.
Most bathrooms have an outlet near the exit, but you'll want an extra long charging cord if you want to use these, otherwise you are going to be standing in an awkward spot for a half-hour.
Here's an outlet near the Incredicoaster bathrooms.
This one is just outside the extended standby line for Toy Story Midway Mania. You'll have to step out of line to charge here, but you should be out of everyone's way.
This covered outlet is on one of the upper levels of the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Honestly I don't know if it is a power outlet or an audio outlet. Let me know when you climb up there?
The Fremont list includes these spots, but I didn't verify that they still exist in 2019.
- There is an old stage in the Bay Area (Next to Pixar Pier) where the bands used to play. Any stage seems prepared with electrical outlets
- Every red parade light stand has two power outlets and two audio (xlr) jacks
- In the Boudin Bread tour to the right of the entrance
- Outside the Boudin tour at the pay phones
- In the Blue Sky Cellar to the right of the exit
- Taste Pilot southwest corner at a table
- At and behind the pay phones across from Soarin’
- Next to the store across from Soarin’, there are outlets there.
