We have great news! Jachtcharter Klompmaker will become part of Yachtcharter De Drait as of November 1, 2021.

The fleet consists of 10 comfortable “Kotterjachten”. The Klompmaker Kotter have a special build. Years of experience in yacht building at the Klompmaker shipyard are the basis for this.

There are also going 5 boats from Drachten base to Woudsend base. That is two Drait Advantages (77 and 79) and three Drait Classiclines (39.50 and 52). The Drait boats together with the Kotterjachten of Klompmaker form a nice combination for the beautiful location in Woudsend.

Drait Hub in Woudsend

For the 2022  season, Yachtcharter De Drait will use the facilities in Woudsend. De Location has its own marina with a charter base and a shipyard for service, maintenance, repair and shipbuilding.

The Hub functions as extra support for sailing and service, so that the guests of Yachtcharter De Drait can be offered even more service.

Woudsend is centrally located in the Frisian Lake District. There Water sports is one of the economic pillars. In addition to renting out yachts, Yachtcharter De Drait also rents out sloops and House boats.

Developments

In collaboration with De Drait Yachting and the Woudsend production site, we are going to build 4 new sloops. Two DrachtsterSloep open and two DrachtsterSloep Cabin.

In order to realize this, we are also going to expand the Yachtcharter De Drait team. The team of Jachtcharter Klompmaker will be expanded with a number of employees for rental, yacht service and booking center.

The new manager for Jachtcharter Klompmaker will have a lot of room to develop new activities.

Renting out means much more than just making the boat available as a rental object.

Develop new products and Sustainability programme, new line Drait Yachts, Support facilities: mobile Yachtservice,

Carry out yacht service in collaboration with other companies in Woudsend

What else do we do?

compiling tourist information point sailing routes, collecting information about tourist attractions and events. promoting culture and history and curiosities of the region.

In addition, relaxation, food, sports and shopping are important topics for the guests.

Because technology and software do not stand still, we are also busy developing the booking system and online payments.

The Woudsend location will be fully furnished according to the current wishes of guests and employees with in the winter:

office, reception room, training room and terraces. Reception area with, among other things, the best coffee from the coffee roaster in the area and other delicious regional products.

Information about our boat insurance and the excess.

The Klompmaker Kotter is insured against all risks with an excess of € 1.000,- per claim. The deposit for the boat is also € 1.000,- and must be paid before departure. You can arrange this in various ways:

–   By bank transfer in advance –   By debit card upon arrival (Unfortunately credit-/mastercard is not possible)

The deposit wil be refunded within 5 working days after returning the boat.

In some cases, a passport, ID kart or drivers license can be deposited as a deposit. In that case, you need to sign for your permission to retain the document as a deposit.

Excess insurance

You can also decide to pay extra to reduce the excess to zero. This means you are fully insured for any damage caused when sailing and manoeuvring the boat. The cost of reducing the excess to zero is 10% of the excess of the selected boat.

Please note. Zero excess assumes good seamanship and due care. If you intentionally cause damage to the boat, the excess will be charged in any event.

What is not covered by the excess insurance:

–   Losing fenders or other inventory –   Getting the boat stuck –   Damage caused by intent or negligence* –   Damage to the interior of the boat

The costs of receiving assistance from Ottenhome Heeg or from a professional recovery company in the event of the boat becoming stuck, or receiving assistance with an engine, or for any other type of breakdown from another service provider, must be paid by the renter unless the rental company authorises such paid assistance in advance.

It is only possible to insurance the excess if the main booker and also skipper is 18 years or older.

* For example sailing under a bridge that is too low, causing damage to the mast/tent or when damage has occured because the tenant has not complied with the sailing rules.

From 12 to 17 March, two of the Group fleet’s most successful yachts will be presented as absolute premieres for the Russian market: motor yacht Ferretti 530, representing Ferretti Yachts , and the 27-foot Iseo superyacht tender by Riva .

This year’s Moscow Boat Show will also offer the Ferretti Group the opportunity to announce all yachting enthusiasts in Russia and Northern Eurasia a new important achievement in its international growth: the renewal of its exclusive dealership agreement for the Russian Federation with its partner Premium Yachts , one of the leading dealers operating in the boating sector in Russia , which will represent the Ferretti Yachts , Pershing , Itama , Bertram , Riva e Mochi Craft and Ferretti Custom Line brands.

The agreement – which was officially announced today during a press conference attended, among others, by Ferruccio Rossi (Ferretti Group’s CEO), Alexey Kurochkin (Premium Yachts’s President), and Stefano Campanelli (Sales Manager for the EMEA area for Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Itama, Bertram, Riva, Mochi Craft and Ferretti Custom Line) – is part of Ferretti Group’s strategy for a further expansion on the European markets offering the best short/medium-term growth perspectives, also thanks to the financial soundness regained following the strategic partnership forged with the Weichai Group.

More specifically, the Russian boating market holds a great potential for the Ferretti Group’s development because of the rapid growth of average wealth among the population and an increasing interest for Made in Italy luxury goods, like Ferretti Group yachts.

Through the renewal of the agreement with Premium Yachts, the Group will further strengthen its highly selected distribution network – which currently includes approximately 60 dealers ensuring the best possible customer care in more than 80 countries worldwide – as well as its presence in the traditional EMEA ( Europe , Middle East , Africa ) area, one of the three macro-regions (besides the America and the Asia-Pacific) into which the Group’s sales structure is divided.

Moreover, in a medium/long-term perspective, the Ferretti Group is expecting an increasing interest on the Russian market not only for flying bridge yachts above 70’ in length, but also towards smaller crafts, both flybridge and open/coupé ones, which are particularly suitable for river cruising or pleasure boating in Russia’s large lakes. Consequently, the renewal of the dealership agreement with Premium Yachts also allows to look ahead at the future aiming to conquer new market segments where less competitors are currently present in terms of both products and geographic location.

The press conference, which was held today at the Lotte Hotel in Moscow, had also the objective of introducing attending journalists and yachting enthusiasts to the main new products launched by the Ferretti Group over the last few months, namely: motor yacht Ferretti 870 , Ferretti 690 yacht , and the project of the new flagship Ferretti 960 superyacht for the Ferretti Yachts brand; luxury yacht Pershing 82 ’ and superyacht Pershing 108’ New Edition for Pershing; Riva 63’ Virtus and the project of the new Riva flagship, 122’ Mythos yacht , as well as the entire range of the Itama, Bertram and Mochi Craft brands.

The yachts launched over the last few months by CRN – the Group’s brand specialising in the construction of steel and aluminium yachts between 40 and 90 metres – were also presented during the conference: the two superyachts: CRN superyacht Jade (60 metres long) and CRN mega yacht Chopi Chopi (80 metres long), the latter being one of the largest pleasure vessels ever built in Italy and the largest one ever built by the Ancona-based shipyard.

The FNPP includes two KLT-40S reactor units. In such reactors, nuclear fuel is not replaced in the same way as in standard NPPs – partial replacement of fuel once every 12-18 months. Instead, once every few years the entire reactor core is replaced with and a full load of fresh fuel.

The KLT-40S reactor cores have a number of advantages compared with standard NPPs. For the first time, a cassette core was used, which made it possible to increase the fuel cycle to 3-3.5 years before refuelling, and also reduce by one and a half times the fuel component in the cost of the electricity produced. The operating experience of the FNPP provided the basis for the design of the new series of nuclear icebreaker reactors (series 22220). Currently, three such icebreakers have been launched.

The Akademik Lomonosov was connected to the power grid in December 2019, and put into commercial operation in May 2020.

Electricity generation from the FNPP at the end of 2023 amounted to 194 GWh. The population of Pevek is just over 4,000 people. However, the plant can potentially provide electricity to a city with a population of up to 100,000. The FNPP solved two problems. Firstly, it replaced the retiring capacities of the Bilibino Nuclear Power Plant, which has been operating since 1974, as well as the Chaunskaya Thermal Power Plant, which is more than 70 years old. It also supplies power to the main mining enterprises located in western Chukotka. In September, a 490 km 110 kilovolt power transmission line was put into operation connecting Pevek and Bilibino.
