Okauhee Lake Yacht Club
The primary goal of the Okauchee Lake Yacht Club (OLYC) is to promote the sport of sailing and provide a social setting for those with a common interest of Okauchee Lake. OLYC is proud of the long history of developing quality racing fleets and sailors that are recognized as among the best nationally. The core of this goal is met by managing and supporting four primary racing fleets on the lake (C Scows, MC Scows, X Boats, and OPTI’s). The Yacht Club also works closely with the Okauchee Lake Sailing School (OLSS) to provide fully staffed sailing classes to our youth sailors. In addition to racing, the club operates a fully functional clubhouse on the north shore of Okauchee Lake that supports social events for its membership throughout the year.
OLYC is a volunteer based organization and guided by the Board of Directors who oversee the operation of the club. Contact any of the board members for more information on membership.

Okauchee Lake Sailing School
For 57 years the Okauchee Lake Sailing School has been introducing sailing to youth in Waukesha County and surrounding areas. The tradition will go on in 2024 as we will open our doors to kids ages 4-18 who want to experience the fun, camaraderie and thrill that the Okauchee sailing community has to offer. The OLSS will provide opportunities for beginners who would like to learn how to sail, intermediate sailors who wish to continue honing their skills and advanced racers who are ready to measure their skills against the top competitors from other Inland Lakes.

Okauchee Lake
Okauchee Lake is a beautiful lake located just 10 miles west of Pewaukee Lake, near the Milwaukee metropolitan area.
The overall size of the lake is 1210 Acres with a maximum depth of 90 feet. There are several bays around the lake and connecting lakes that can be reached by boat. There is an abundance of lakeside amenities around the lake (see above, links below) making it a very attractive body of water for both recreational activities and fishing!
A variety of fish species are present in Okauchee Lake including Bluegill, Crappie, Bass, Muskellunge (Muskie), Tiger Muskellunge (Tiger Muskie), Northern Pike, and Walleye.

Okauchee Lake Sailing School is located on the north shore of Okauchee Lake. From highway K in downtown Stone Bank head south on Breezy Point Road. Follow Breezy Point Road south until the road curves to the right (west). As the road curves right the building will be on the left. The ground level doors are the entrance to Okauchee Lake Yacht Club.
