TACANUYA Yacht for Charter

In 1992, the 184'1" (56.1m) TACANUYA was launched by Swiftships. She is a commanding superyacht with an impressive range of 3,200 nautical miles and plenty of space and style to satisfy discerning guests. She can welcome parties of up to 12 people, and her crew of 14 expertly takes care of them.

STYLE, POWER AND PERFORMANCE

Exterior design came from Grant Robinson and the interior design from H2 Yacht Design. A refit in 2021 took the yacht to new levels of excellence. Performance is always a priority for TACANUYA and she is fitted with twin Caterpillar engines. She cruises steadily at 18 knots and can reach a top speed of 24 knots. The interior of the yacht features tasteful, traditional styling and guests sleep in seven staterooms with every luxury and comfort available. The deck areas are equally impressive. A popular place for guests to relax is in the deck Jacuzzi with a drink to hand, gazing at the incredible passing scenery.

HIGHLIGHTS OF A CHARTER

TACANUYA is a popular sight in the Mediterranean, and favored ports of call include Italy’s Amalfi Coast, the French Riviera, and the islands of Corsica and Sardinia. In the winter, she turns to the Caribbean, where guests can explore the attractions of Antigua, St Maarten, St Barth, and the Bahamas islands. All these destinations offer incredible appeal ashore, as well as wonderful waters for swimming, diving and water sports. TACANUYA is well equipped with Jet Skis, a Sea Scooter, SeaBob, a canoe, towable toys, a kayak, and paddleboard. There are also inflatable water toys, diving equipment, and bikes for exploring ashore. The crew is on hand at all times to deliver a world-class charter experience.

The 56 metre Swiftships motor yacht Tacanuya has been listed for sale by Yachting Partners International .

Built in aluminium by US yard Swiftships to a design by Grant Robinson , she was delivered in 1992 and most recently refitted in 2021. Her interior has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests overnight in six cabins and all cabins have television screens and en suite bathroom facilities. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard.

The massive main saloon is aft of the separate dining area, with seating for eight to ten guests, while the starboard side has a bar with seating. There are silhouette blinds with eight large windows, giving this area fantastic natural light. The dining area has a large table with comfortable seating offering formal dining for up to 12 guests.

The full-beam aft deck is air conditioned and can be completely enclosed and heated in poor weather. On the aft end of the deck is a raised dining area with a teak table that will seat eight on occasional chairs and six on the banquette.

Her top speed is 24 knots, her cruising speed is 18 knots, and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles at 15 knots, with power coming from twin 2,800hp Caterpillar diesel engines.

Tacanuya is asking €18,999,000.

Sunrise Yachts, a luxury yacht building company which is based in Turkey, has been made a main sponsor of next year’s 2011 Moscow International Boat Show (MIBS). The four-day Russian yacht show event is currently scheduled to run from April 14-17 at the Moscow’s Crocus exhibition centre.

MIBS is organised by the ITE Group and it is one of Russia’s leading boat shows and is an internationally recognised superyacht event. The show covering everything from small parts and accessories to large superyacht with over 9,000 people and 178 exhibitors attended the last year show.

The Paolo Scanu-designed Sunrise 45 yacht is an ocean-going cruising yacht that was released in 2009 to much acclaim at this was the group’s first-ever model.

Sunrise Yachts was founded in 2007 by the German entrepreneur Herbert P Baum along with the French-British yacht builder Guillaume Roché. The luxury yacht group is based in Antalya, Turkey and utilises a 10,000sq m shipyard facility. Sunrise has two sheds measuring 100m (328ft) x 16m (53ft), as well as a 70m (230ft) x 16m (53ft) fully acclimatized paint shed that can accommodate new-build and refit projects up to 65m (213ft) in length and 1,200 tonnes displacement.

Along each side of the yacht-building facility, space is available for long-term sub-contractors with the latest equipment and logistics capabilities, along with air-conditioned storage, ventilation and extraction plants. The shipyard is organized as an “assembler,” based loosely on the car industry’s model, with a small, yet powerful project management team charged with running all the in-house long-term sub-contractors.
