El  Club Playa Grande  cuenta actualmente con cuatro concesionarios que se esmeran cada fin de semana en ofrecer la mejor gastronomía a sus Socios:

El  Restaurante Capitanía  es el más emblemático de todos, con las mejores vistas de la espectacular Marina, el Faro y el Mar… Además de los deliciosos pescados recién sacados del mar.

El  Restaurante & Bar Piscina , que sirve no solo al área de la piscina sino también a la Playa A, se viene destacando desde hace un tiempo por la calidad de sus servicios, la atención de su personal y su amplia variedad en las ofertas culinarias que ofrecen, que incluyen  cocina asiática y sushi . 

En el extremo oeste del Club, disfrutamos del  Restaurante & Bar Picúa , el cual solo opera los fines de semana. Ofrece no solo platos de fuente de soda, sino también los mejores productos del mar adquiridos de los pescadores de la zona.

Entre las dos playas del club se encuentra el  Restaurante Roque Caracol  el cual ofrece una gastronomía marina deliciosa y cuenta con un dedicado equipo de mesoneros que recorren la playa y le brindan esa oportunidad a usted de disfrutar de sus platos en las churuatas y playa. Una experiencia única.

El Restaurante Mi Perla Negra , está ubicado entre las dos playas de la Asociación, justo al frente del Bodegón de Playa Grande y el Restaurante Roque Caracol. La familia Vera junto con su equipo de trabajo tienen gran dedicación por ofrecer un excelente servicio y experiencia a sus comensales, manteniéndose fieles a su lema “No cocinamos, creamos emociones”.

El Bodegón de Playa Grande resalta por sus sabrosos sándwiches y ser un sitio en el que puedes adquirir distintos productos para complementar tu día de playa en familia.

Cerca de la piscina, el Restaurante La Esquina Criolla ofrece diversos y deliciosos platillos para degustar durante el fin de semana, brindando siempre una atención impecable.

Paleta Manía es un lugar encantador para disfrutar de un sabroso helado mientras se relaja en un soleado día de playa en compañía de familia y amigos. El ambiente, la variedad de sabores y la atención amable y servicial del personal son ideales para deleitarse de un dulce postre y hacen que la experiencia sea aún más agradable.

Hablando de refrescante, Coco Bar invita a probar sus dulces bebidas a base de coco, que son la especialidad de la casa. Ofrece un ambiente relajado y acogedor, con una decoración tropical. El menú es simple pero delicioso, y el personal es amable y atento. Si eres un amante del coco, este sitio es para ti.

During summer there are boats from Kazan , Samara and other destinations on the Volga River.

By train [ edit ]

The train takes you here from Moscow (from Kazanskaya train station) in approximately 16 hours or from Volgograd in about 20 hours. Ulyanovsk Main Station is located 6 km from the city center.

Get around [ edit ]

Ulyanovsk has an extensive public transportation network that includes buses, trolleys, and trams. It is very affordable, but congested and may be quite confusing. You won't find any route maps or schedules, neither at bus stops nor in buses. Fee collectors usually don't speak English. Express buses and semi-private van routes are more comfortable and more expensive. Taxis are not expensive, and that's your best bet if you want to get somewhere (relatively) quickly, in (relative) comfort (almost all cars are old Russian ladas or over 10 year old non-Russian cars), and without much hassle. They are also most likely to have English speaking drivers (one in 1000) and superloud Russian pop music.

Getting between the banks of the Volga is a problem. There is a two lane bridge connecting the banks and it's nearly always congested, so if you're unlucky, it can take a couple of hours. Most locals avoid going over the bridge if they can. A four-lane bridge was planned to relieve these problems.

As the home town of Lenin, it's worth visiting the Lenin Memorial Centre and Gardens and museums based in his former houses. There is also a museum dedicated to the poet 'Goncharov' and the war memorial at the end of the main street 'Ulitsa Goncharova' offers breathtaking views over the Volga.

In winter, try cross-country skiing along the Sviaga river, in summer take a boat ride over the reservoir.

The city's main shopping centre 'Tsum' is basic to say the least but does offer some basic shopping.

Moran Signs Contract For 112m New Build Project Palo Alto

Moran Yacht & Ship have proudly announced the incredible sale of the 112m (367 ft) Lürssen new build, Project Palo Alto.

Project Palo Alto was commissioned for a long-time charter client of Moran Yacht & Ship, who has over the past seven years, chartered some of the largest and highest quality motor yachts in the world.

This experience has led to intense owner involvement, from design of guests accommodations to propulsion package selection, all the way to crew area arrangement.

“This project will be the largest yacht to date that Moran Yacht & Ship has built at Lurssen, ” explains President of MY&S Rob Moran. “ We are excited to be involved in such a great project with such a fantastic team. We look forward to yet another on time and under budget delivery while maintaining the highest quality standard; the Moran Yacht & Ship standard.”

With an interior and exterior styling by Andrew Winch Design , Project Palo Alto will feature two helicopter pads, a twelve meter swimming pool, a resort inspired spa in the aft of the vessel, and palatial staircases that to date have only been seen in palaces.

Her tender garage will accommodate two thirteen meter tenders, two additional ten meter tenders, a submarine, and a abundant selection of other water toys. Lack of space will not be an issue for this family-oriented owner. In addition to a massive private owner’s deck, eleven other guests staterooms will accommodate twenty-two additional guests in absolute comfort.

The complete construction of this vessel will be overseen by the experienced Moran Yacht & Ship new build team of Simon England, Patrick Foy, Derek Munroe, Ian Wetherill, Sean Moran, Paul Moran, and Robert Moran.

Moran Yacht & Ship currently has 10 new yacht construction projects underway across the globe with several others currently being negotiated.

Another €5M price drop on 65m Lürssen explorer yacht Polar Star

The 65.2-metre Polar Star, currently listed for sale with Paul Moran, Lidia Tsareva and Vladimir Tupikov of Eastwind Yachts , has had a further price drop of €5,000,000.

Built by Lürssen in 2005, the steel and aluminium explorer motor yacht was designed by Espen Oeino . She has an ice-class hull, giving her access to remote parts of the world not typically frequented by most yachts.

Polar Star underwent an extensive refit in 2016 and has been continuously upgraded, including a full repaint by Pinmar in 2021. The broker said that "her new interior gives off a feeling of comfortable sophistication, with soft ocean tones throughout the ship."

Accommodation is for 12 guests in five cabins. The owner's cabin offers spectacular views and enjoys its own lounge for added privacy during extended cruising. The original interior design was by Pauline Nunns with a subsequent interior refit overseen by FM Architettura d’Interni.

During her 2016 refit, the hexagonal spa pool was replaced with a more practical rectangular, glass-fronted one, flanked by large sunpads, while a guest office was remodelled into a massage room.
