Ocean Independence Reveals 100 Metre Superyacht Project Century X

Ocean Independence has teamed up with exterior designers Christopher Seymour and Carl Esch to present a 110 metre yacht design named Project Century X.

Key features include a large 4,500GT interior penned by Theodoros Fotiadis , with a 550 square metre dedicated owner’s deck comprising a private master suite, saloon, bar and dining area.

Numerous deck spaces are found on board, with four freshwater pools and a large beach club complete with waterfalls and tender docking stations. A large tender garage sits aft with plenty of room for tenders and water toys. There is also the option to include an elevator and helideck on board.

With an estimated build time of 48 months, Project Century X features technical input by Fincantieri Yachts , which is also the nominated construction yard.

Speaking about the project, Ocean Independence sales broker, Michael Gräff, said: “With the option for a totally exclusive owners' deck, Project Century X really can deliver the ultimate in privacy. With an extraordinary host of facilities, equipment and great spaces available, this thrilling project is a very exciting proposition indeed.”

Power will come from a pair of 3,600kW engines for a range of 6,000 nautical miles.

Megayachts to buy: Ocean Independence’s Project Century X boasts four pools and a beach club with waterfalls

The vessel is set to be delivered in 2024, with price available on request

Ocean Independence has pulled no punches with its latest megayacht concept. The epic 33.5m vessel has an amenities list that reads like that of a luxurious five-star resort and features pretty much everything but the kitchen sink.

Project Century X , which was penned in partnership with exterior designer Christopher Seymour and design consultant Carl Esch, features sleek lines and a classic silhouette to please purists. But it’s the interior that truly sets this vessel apart.

Century X offers a staggering 3,000 sqm of living space that was brought to life by renowned Berlin-based designer  Theodoros Fotiadis  and his team. It offers a total of seven staterooms for 14 guests and is anchored by a sprawling 1,402-sqm owner’s deck that comes complete with a private master suite, saloon, bar and dining area.

Elsewhere, there’s a state-of-the-art gym with a sauna and massage centre, a cinema lounge with an adjoining bar, a generous main salon, and an elevator to help you easily access all four decks. There is also additional accommodation for 27 crew.

Meanwhile, the vessel offers countless relaxation areas outside. There are no less than four freshwater pools, along with a jacuzzi, helipad, swim platform and an oversized beach club featuring idyllic waterfalls.

Thanks to the large tender garage that sits aft, Century X is jampacked with water toys, too. Guests can make use of two tenders, two RIBs, four jet skis, scuba diving equipment, a WaveRunner, and other fun gear.

Century X will likely be fitted with a pair of 3,600kW engines that deliver a top speed of 19 knots, a cruising speed of 16 knots and a range of 6,000 nautical miles. She has an estimated build time of 48 months and is expected to be delivered in 2024. Price is available upon request, though be prepared to fork out for this stunner.

Ocean Independence Reveals New 110m Project Century X Megayacht

Ocean independence has just added a new yacht project to their sales fleet and it’s a truly magnificent vessel. Named the ‘Century X’, this 110m megayacht is filled with amenities, facilities and luxury. In total, the Century X has accommodations for up to 14 guests thanks to the seven lavish and spacious staterooms. As far as amenities and features go, the Century X will have everything needed for an entertaining adventure. From bow to stern, there are four freshwater pools available to swim in, as well as a massive beach club area with waterfalls and various lounges. It’s that the beach club area that tenders can access the docking stations, as well. Onboard, Century X also has a massive garage where tenders and water toys can be stores. A price has not been given, but Ocean Independence notes that this project will have a build time of 48 months.

Exclusive Insight into 110m Megayacht Project CenturyX

It is any designer’s dream to have complete control over every aspect of their brainchild. Carl Esch of Castlemain Yachts has made that dream a reality. We spoke with Carl to learn more about the intriguing ‘design consultancy’ he has built off the back of 35 years’ experience in the yachting industry, culminating in Castlemain's most recent, largest and 'sexiest' project yet; the formidable 110m Century X . Combining the superyacht building prowess of Fincantieri , the marketing excellence of Ocean Independence and exquisite design by Castlemain Yachts and T. Fotiadis Design , Century X is truly a force to be reckoned with.

Castlemain Yachts is more than just a team of talented designers working together to conceive innovative new projects in the hope of filling a particular niche. ‘We conceive the initial design for our projects together with our exterior designers and with a very clear vision of what we want ,’ Carl explains. ‘ Then we look to our network of shipyards and brokers for some commercial input, and the project has evolved to what you see today .’

Italian megayacht builder Fincantieri has been selected for the build of Century X , in part due to the success of previous collaborations between the two namely on the Griffin Series but also largely due to Fincantieri’s sizable 110m technical platform.

So what was Carl’s ‘ very clear vision’ for CenturyX? Simply put, he tells us, ‘ we wanted to present a sexy looking yacht, in this case created together with our lead exterior designer Christopher Seymour’ . This is the particular approach championed by Castlemain; rather than cater a superyacht’s exterior to specific interior features and compromise on all-important looks, Carl and his team usually prefer to first focus on the yacht’s exterior styling and then work inwards.

The result is a sleek and streamlined profile; a unique look to achieve on a megayacht of this size. ‘As with a boat and a car, love always starts with the outside, ’ Carl laughs. ‘ The same goes for with people too!’

‘When people design around interior features, you often end up compromising on the exterior looks. And there is so much you can do with a 110m boat… The Owner of CenturyX will be able to enjoy all of her interiors, without having any unused spaces onboard.’  

And with 3000 square metres of onboard space and 1400 square metres dedicated solely to Owner and their guests, there is much to enjoy when it comes to the elegant interiors of CenturyX. Styled and designed by Berlin-based studio T. Fotiadis Design , this 110m superyacht’s interior spaces strike the perfect balance between calming and vibrant. Highlights of bright furnishings and gold art pieces disrupt the tranquil aura instilled by rich, plush materials and vast open spaces. T. Fotiadis has ensured guests are still able to enjoy intimate and cosy spaces, and with an ultra-decadent full beam Owner’s suite, every measure of luxury is guaranteed.

‘We chose Theodoros because he has a very unique approach, a certain style which is a bit different and very elegant, ’ says Carl. ‘ It’s a spectacular yacht and it deserves a very special interior.’

CenturyX’s highlights include a large beach club, several pools so as to ensure guests can use different facilities to the Owners, and plenty of exterior space. ‘ It’s striking the right balance between interior and exterior space, but keeping that intimate element at her size, ’ says Carl of the design logic behind the project.

But developing CenturyX to the fully fledged, brokerage-ready project she is today was no brief venture. Yacht consultant and broker of choice Ocean Independence closely collaborated on the yacht’s amenities and features, drawing on the latest market trends to ensure CenturyX is ready to fulfil her visionary Owner’s every want and need.

Project Century X Concept Unveiled

Ocean Independence has unveiled renderings for Century X, a 361-foot superyacht concept that could be built in a timeframe of four years at Fincantieri Yachts in Italy.

Exterior designers are Christopher Seymour and Carl Esch, with interior design by Theodoros Fotiadis. Fincantieri provided technical input.

Accommodations are for as many as 14 guests in seven staterooms. The owner’s deck includes a sleeping area, salon, bar and dining space. Guest areas include four freshwater pools. The beach club has waterfalls. An elevator and helideck are also drawn into the plans.

Build time for Century X is projected at four years after a contract is signed.

“With an extraordinary host of facilities, equipment and great spaces available, this thrilling project is a very exciting proposition indeed,” sales broker Michael Gräff stated in a press release.

What is the projected range of Century X? According to Ocean Independence, the yacht should have a range of 6,000 nautical miles.

Project Century X Superyacht Comes Back From The Future

The brilliant team from Ocean Independence has unveiled a spectacular 110-meter superyacht concept, that’s going to be ready by 2024 – yes, this beauty has a 48-month build time, but it’s worth waiting for the best things in life, right?

Called Project Century X, this stunning vessel is the brainchild of yacht designers Christopher Seymour and Carl Esch, who were in charge of the sleek exterior lines of this yacht, and the designers from Theodoros Fotiadis, who imagined its luxurious interiors.

For the actual construction, Ocean Independence recommends the well known Italian shipyard Fincantieri as the preferred yacht builder for this massive project.

We are dealing with an incredible 4,550 GT yacht, one that promises its owners and their privileged guests – as many as 14 passengers in total – seven comfortable staterooms. But the lucky owner(s) of this yacht will get to enjoy a private deck that was designed to cover 550 square meters of living areas.

They’ll find there a lavish master suite, a saloon and a lovely bar, and a private dining area – don’t worry, you don’t need to cook anything, since a crew of 27 is prepared to cater to your every whim and need. Now, that’s life! 

There are also various spaces on board for the rest passengers to enjoy, such as four freshwater pools, several dining and relaxation areas, and a superb beach club. If you want to hit the waves, the yacht’s tender docking stations and garage will house plenty of cool water toys. There’s even an elevator and a helideck, for those who like to arrive in style.

Two powerful 3,600kW engines will sure this yacht can deliver a range of 6,000 nm, while a top speed of 19 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots are more than decent figures for a yacht of its size.

But Project Century X was designed with ultimate privacy in mind. Packed with lots of amazing facilities, high-end equipment and gorgeous living spaces, this project is still fully customizable, so the end result might just look and sound even more outrageous compared to what we see today.

As such, we really can’t tackle a serious subject as purchase costs; who knows what the future owners will want? We can safely assume it will all be expensive, but it’s surely going to be worth every single penny, and then some.

Ocean Independence’s Project Century X revealed

Ocean Independence has its game right with the megayachts. The latest 360-footer megayacht , Project Century X is what yachting dreams are made of. The sleek lines and a classic silhouette of megayacht might make it seem just another yacht but this giant boat harbours a list of service one can expect in a luxury hotel.

Created in collaboration with an experienced team of exterior designer Christopher Seymour and design consultant Carl Esch adds the grandeur and royalty making the Project Century X a sight to marvel. However, the real magic happens inside of the megayacht.

Century X offers an astounding 32,292 square feet of living space conceptualised by renowned Berlin-based designer  Theodoros Fotiadis  and his extraordinary team. The yacht can host 14 guests in 7 luxurious staterooms, while the owner’s deck is sprawled over 15,069-square-foot including a master suite, salon, bar, and dining area.

The state-of-the-art gym, sauna, main salon, massage centre, a cinema lounge with an adjoining bar are well connected by an elevator across all four decks. A crew of 27 would be eagerly serving the hosts. The outdoor relaxation spaces offer a different experience altogether with four freshwater pools from the bow to the stern, a jacuzzi, helipad, swim platform and a beach club featuring idyllic waterfalls. The boat also features exciting water toys, while guests can also enjoy two tenders, four jet skis, scuba diving equipment, two RIBs, and other fun gear.

The detailed technical input from Fincantieri has given the megayacht two 3,600kW engines that deliver a range of 6,000nm top speed of 19 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots. The megayacht has a gross tonnage of approximately 4,550. With an estimated 48 months in building, Project Century X is expected to be delivered in 2024. Guest Accommodation

Built in 2022, Project X offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 9 suites comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin, five double cabins and two twin cabins. There are up to twenty-eight crew members on board to provide outstanding service on your charter.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

You and your guests can enjoy a variety of experiences on Project X such as a beauty salon featuring all of the facilities required for a number of different beauty treatments. Visit the sauna and disconnect in peace and quiet or elsewhere, the swimming pool is perfect for exercising or admiring a romantic sunrise. Head to the beach club and take advantage of indoor-outdoor living and entertaining and a gym with all the latest equipment is available for a good work out. Retreat to the deck jacuzzi and soak up the scenery.

Project X benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter such as an elevator, making any part of the yacht quickly and easily accessible. For those needing to take care of work at sea, conference facilities are available to make business on board that much easier or elsewhere, stay connected to the outside world on long voyages with satellite communications. At night, guests can enjoy a mesmerizing light spectacle in the water thanks to underwater lights and whether you want to work, use social media or stream movies on board this yacht, you can with Wi-Fi connectivity. Guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 18 knots with a range of up to 5,500 nautical miles from her 296,300 litre fuel tanks at 16 knots. Project X features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels.

Project X has aboard a plentiful range of water toys and accessories ready to entertain you and your guests whilst on charter. Principle among these is a Flyboard, experience flying in and out of the water with the latest in high adrenaline watersport. Another excellent feature are waterslides letting guests speed from the sun deck to the water in seconds. Guests can experience the thrill and adventure of riding one of the four SeaDoo WaveRunners. If that isn't enough Project X also features waterskis, a seabob, wakeboards, kayaks, bikes and much more. Project X features three tenders, but leading the pack is a 10m/32'10" Onda Limo Tender to transport you in style.

PROJECT X is a brand-new 88m (288.6ft) yacht delivered in summer 2022 by renowned Greek shipyard Golden Yachts. She showcases iconic exteriors by legendary British designer Ken Freivokh and restful, contemporary interiors – including Kreivokh’s jaw-dropping triple-height atrium – by Italy’s Massari Design, with all design guided and overseen by her hugely experienced owner.

Her steel hull and aluminium superstructure were built to Bureau Veritas classification and MCA compliance for commercial operation. Her 2,973GT of internal volume feature the very latest in design, technology and style to deliver the highest standards in quality, service and entertainment.

The main deck is home to a large pool, 7x3.5m (23x11.5ft), on the aft deck with vast sunbathing facilities and a large sit-up wet bar. A DJ station ‘bridges’ over the main deck pool for professional DJ sets with B&O sound system and nightclub lights for peerless parties.

A sea-level beach club features two large sea terraces, a huge swim platform, a sit-up bar with views into the glass-sided pool above, a circular lounge, other seating areas and a large TV. It’s also home to the yacht’s spa with sauna, hammam and massage/beauty room.

For fitness, head to the sun deck’s fully equipped gym with wonderful views through extensive glazing and at its centre the elevator that services all guest decks. Aft is a sit-up wet bar, café-style seating and a large area for sun loungers and forward is a 10-person jacuzzi with adjacent sunpads.

An interior flooded with natural light, redefines the connection with your surroundings. Nowhere is this better expressed than in her uniquely impressive glass elevator and triple-height atrium, inspired by Freivokh. Other alluring features include a large private owner's deck with jacuzzi and sun lounging terrace and sensational views through full-height windows in the master suite and lounges.

In total PROJECT X accommodates up to 19 guests in nine suites across bridge, upper and main decks, including a main deck VIP suite, and each has its own colour scheme. There is an impressive full-beam office/conference room with separate PA/secretary facilities on upper deck forward with panoramic views.

PROJECT X also has an extensive collection of tenders and toys, from the 10m (32.8ft) Onda Limousine tender and the impressive 9m (29.5ft) Pedrazzini Vivalle classic tender to the two 6.3m (20.7ft) Whitmarsh RIBs. She also has a packed toy locker to keep everyone entertained on the water.

Twin 2,510hp Caterpillar diesel engines, each with a mere 85 hours logged at the time of writing, give her a top speed of 16 knots and an astonishing range of 9,500nm at her passage speed of 12.5 knots. Naiad Dynamics zero speed stabilisers ensure comfort on arrival. She also has a touch-and-go helipad on the foredeck.
