The Secret Tips For Getting Disney World to Answer the Phone

By Kelly Oliveros 8 Comments

When planning a trip to Disney World, during your trip, or even after your trip, you might need to call Disney to ask them a question, make a special request, or get specific information.

yacht house contact number

Time to Head to Disney World!

But what number do you call?!  There are a lot of different numbers on Disney World’s websites. Today we’re breaking it all down for you and giving you the ultimate guide to Disney World contact numbers.

Keep in mind, this list is based on the information we could obtain from Disney. Some of these lines may be direct lines that lead you directly to the department they’re intended to lead you to. Other numbers may indicate that they are direct numbers, but instead lead you back to a general line.

And some may in fact be direct numbers, but due to high call volume or other factors, you may STILL get redirected to a general line. But, hopefully, this list can help you navigate the phone system and speak to the Cast Members you need to speak to about your specific issues!

As a stockholder and annual pass holder I would accept better, much better customer service for all visitors!!

Calling Disney is a lesson in futility. I can’t count the number f times I have called and after being on hold for hours, received no help. But thank you for the list, DFB, we are EVER hopeful that Disney will do a better job with customer service!

Hi there. I can not get a direct access to Old Key West anymore. The number listed (which was the same number I had in my phone from 2015, so I know it was right at one time) gets me to a calling center, “that answers the phone for old key west.” Everyone is incredibly nice and helpful. It’s just sometimes necessary to speak with someone who has SEEN the property.

Today Boldt Castle, located near Alexandria Bay, NY in the famed 1000 Islands is once again becoming what it was always meant to be, the premier home and attraction in the region. Whether you are making an annual visit to see what’s new, looking for an affordable family vacation close to home or a couple seeking that romantic getaway, Boldt Castle and the Boldt Yacht House has something for you! In fact, the Castles’ legendary beauty nestled among the St Lawrence Rivers’ 1000 Islands will keep you returning year after year!

The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority (TIBA) welcomes you to tour Boldt Castle to explore and experience an attraction like no other. Construction began on Boldt Castle in 1900 at the bidding of millionaire hotel magnate George C. Boldt as a tribute to his beloved wife Louise. Boldt Castle was designed as their summer dream home. A castle rivaling those of Europe, built on the St. Lawrence River, in the heart of the 1000 Islands. However it was not to be, Mrs. Boldt passed away suddenly just months before the completion of the castle. Mr. Boldt was inconsolable and immediately stopped all construction on Heart Island, leaving the property vacant for over seventy years…

The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority (TIBA), who owns and operates Boldt Castle and the Boldt Yacht House, invite you to explore our website. Here you can glimpse what awaits you at Heart Island. A chance to experience the Boldt’s tragic love story and the magnificence of a bygone era…

Yachthouse

A new market for the agent and travel designer

It is a common misconception that a yacht charter is an unaffordable luxury. Not so.

For the cost of an upmarket spa or safari holiday a family can charter  a private yacht. A group of friends spending perhaps £5000 per head on a vacation can enjoy a stupendous vessel on a fully-inclusive basis. With no costs while on board, the economics of a charter are predictable and very convincing, the "bragging rights", peerless and the repeat factor very high.

The Yacht House has been established to open up yacht holidays to a wider audience. Many yacht owners complain about inadequate utilisation of their vessels, obtaining only a few weeks charter a year.

For agents and travel designers the problem of finding genuinely unique and experiential opportunities for their clients looms ever more large.

As the world shrinks with the relentless growth of cheap air travel so the inaccessible becomes accessible and the remote commonplace.  The solution is a holiday on a private crewed yacht. Impeccable service, the finest food, utter privacy and total control over where to go and what to do.

Many agents shy away from yacht charter. Many traditional yacht brokers appear to resent the agent and prefer to deal with a client who is informed, experienced and impossibly rich.  The Yacht House has recognized that against a small number of regular charterers of yachts amongst the "uber-rich", there is an enormous supply of under-utilised and thoroughly affordable luxury vessels.

On the consumer side, there is a huge untapped market of wealthy clients who have either never contemplated a holiday on a private yacht or have been deterred by the complexity and perceived uncertain cost of a charter.

The Yacht House has negotiated preferential all-inclusive rates with a number of owners of both motor and sail yachts in locations all over the world. The majority of these yachts or their owners are known personally to The Yacht House, thus ensuring consistent quality.

We utilise our own, simple, plain English charter agreement which a client can understand. And we focus on a full service to both the agent and to their client by designing specific itineraries, ensuring that the client's hand is held throughout the booking process and that he enjoys a seamless experience.

As a result we enjoy repeat business from satisfied clients who see a yacht holiday as the answer to their quest for the different and the unspoiled.

Two thirds of the world is covered by water and the seas are the last remaining relatively unregulated environment. Thousands of miles of coastline are inaccessible by road or air and a yacht can take your clients to places that they would otherwise only dream of.

If you would like to talk to us about yacht holidays for your clients, please contact us .

Boldt Castle and Boldt Yacht House

Boldt castle aerial view at night

Historic Sites

This 120-room Rhineland-style castle and yacht house built at the turn of the 20th century are the 1000 Islands region’s top attraction. Boldt Castle is home to one of the saddest love stories ever told. Wander the halls and imagine what could have been if tragedy had not struck. Boldt Castle is the story of one man’s devotion to his beloved wife and a dream that went unfulfilled.

Visitors to Boldt Castle return often to see rehabilitation work done on various island buildings and rooms within the castle. They admire the grandeur of the completed rooms while observing the toll that more than 70 unguarded years took on the upper floors.

The castle is accessible by tour boat, water taxi and private watercraft and handicap accessible. Boldt Castle is located in the U.S., so passengers arriving by boat from Canadian ports must provide proper identification for U.S. Customs and Border Protection clearance.

How guest reviews work.

Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score, we add up all the review scores and divide that total by the number of review scores we received. Guests can also give separate subscores in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. Guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently – there’s no direct link between them.

You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.

We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

  • Politically sensitive comments
  • Promotional content
  • Illegal activities
  • Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
  • Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
  • Spam and fake content
  • Animal cruelty
  • Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
  • Any violation of our review guidelines.

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

An accommodation can reply to a review.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Exploring the creative traditions of wooden Omsk

At the beginning of the 20th century, Russian chemist and photographer Sergey Prokudin-Gorsky developed a complex process for vivid color photography. His vision of photography as a form of education and enlightenment was demonstrated with special clarity through his images of architectural monuments in the historic sites throughout the Russian heartland.

In June 1912, Prokudin-Gorsky ventured into western Siberia as part of a commission to document the Kama-Tobolsk Waterway, a link between the European and Asian sides of the Ural Mountains. The town of Tyumen served as his launching point for productive journeys that included Shadrinsk (current population 68,000), established in 1662 on the Iset River.

The area around Shadrinsk had been settled in the mid-17th century by peasants given allotments of state lands, which they would cultivate and return a grain levy to the state. Authorities in Moscow wanted to attract settlers to these newly acquired vast open territories, whose rich soil was ideal for agriculture.

By the time of Prokudin-Gorsky’s visit, the town had several enterprises, including a ceramics factory and a population of some 15,000. His photographs of Shadrinsk include the rapid construction of pine log buildings for a railroad station complex – part of a secondary rail line built in 1911-1913. The partially completed buildings show an efficient use of standardized design, with measured log stacks in the foreground. Tall, spindly pine trees complete the picture.

Omsk’s early role

In a broader context, these photographs reflect the expansion of Russia’s rail system within a triangle bounded by Ekaterinburg (on the Asian side of central Ural Mountains), Chelyabinsk (in the southern Urals) and Omsk (in western Siberia). Rail construction greatly increased the importance of Omsk as a transportation center on the Trans-Siberian Railway. Although Prokudin-Gorsky did not reach Omsk, I visited there in the late summer of 1999.

Omsk (current population around 1,110,000) was founded in 1716 as a fort on the middle reaches of the Irtysh River. During the 18th century its primary purpose was to protect Russia’s southern border and establish authority over the aboriginal steppe peoples.

Although administratively subordinate to Tobolsk throughout the 18th century, Omsk gained increasing power in the 19th century. From 1808 until 1917, Omsk served as the headquarters of all Siberian Cossack troops and, in 1822, a separate Omsk Province was formed.

During the latter part of the 19th century, Omsk began a period of heady expansion, as the town became a transportation center for Russia’s vast interior. Regular steamboat service along the Irtysh River to Tobolsk began in 1862.

Railroad revolution & wooden legacy

But, it was the railroads that made Omsk a boomtown. In 1894-95 Omsk was linked by the Trans-Siberian Railroad to Chelyabinsk in the west and Novonikolaevsk (now Novosibirsk) in the east. In 1913, another rail line was completed from Omsk to Tyumen in what would become the new Siberian mainline. By the beginning of the 20th century, the population of Omsk had tripled, to over 60,000 inhabitants.

This development as a transportation nexus led to a surge in the city’s commercial district. What had formerly been a provincial garrison town consisting primarily of wooden structures punctuated with large churches, now became a preeminent site for banks, educational institutions, industry and retail trade in Siberia.

Even during this rapid development, however, wooden buildings remained a major part of the urban fabric. Some of the log structures were of considerable size and designed by accomplished architects, such as the building for the Western Siberian Division of the Imperial Russian Geographical Society, constructed in 1896-1899 by architect Iliodor Khvorinov.

Branches of the Geographic Society served as important intellectual centers in the provinces, yet Omsk was unusual in its log building, which demonstrated a deep connection to Russian tradition. Less costly to construct, the wooden Geographic Society building also proved eminently functional, serving in much its original purpose when I photographed it a century after its completion. The hewn log walls fastened at the end with a trapezoidal interlocking joint. Periodically, the exterior has been covered in plank siding (as at present), but I was fortunate to see the log construction in its original state.

More than just wooden housing

In Omsk, as elsewhere in the Russian provinces, the main role for wooden architecture at the turn of the 20th century was to provide housing. Sometimes the log walls were clad with plank siding and in other cases they were left exposed. To lessen the danger from fire – that curse of Russian towns – many of the buildings had a wall of brick on the right side – the brandmauer, or “fire wall”.

Wooden dwellings could range from the relatively simple to large multi-family dwellings. One of the most imposing is the mansion, built in 1911 on what was then known as Duma (City Council) Street for A. S. Kabalkin, a prominent member of the legal profession.

The Kabalkin mansion displays an assured sense of design in which the unclad dark log walls contrast with the light color of simple window surrounds for an aesthetic effect. The left corner is punctuated with a bay turret that dominates the area. When I photographed, the lots around had been cleared, which gave an unobstructed view of the organic plasticity of the structure. This approach to design was intended to create a unified work of art from all perspectives, a characteristic of the so-called Modern Style (the Russian equivalent of Art Nouveau) that flourished at the turn of the 20th century.

‘Modern mansions’

Other log mansions of similar scale include the I.F. Mashinsky house (Pushkin Street 26) and the N. Abdulmanov house (Marshal Zhukov Street 95), both of which are crowned with Beaux Arts style domes. The latter house, built by a local Moslem merchant, shows the common technique of elevating the main floor of a log house over a brick ground story.

The Modern Style also appears in the exuberant decorative detailing of smaller houses with sweeping curvilinear flourishes throughout the main façade. An excellent example is the house at 48 Michurin Street with its Art Nouveau doorway.  and window surrounds crowned with dragon motifs in an imitation Nordic style (Norwegian stave churches). Unfortunately, the house and lot have been poorly maintained.

The delightful decorative flourishes of some wooden houses show an eclectic mixture of Modern with elaborate fretwork details. Window surrounds are often crowned with elaborate flourishes that include a lacework of fretwork or carved wood.

Other examples, such as the V.I. Viatkin house (Red Dawns Street 16) have a rich yet precise application of neoclassical details. And regardless of the façade style, I found delicately detailed wrought iron porches, exemplified at the Proskuriakova house (Red Dawns Street 31).

One of the most playful decorative expressions is the Philip Shtumfp house (Valikhanov Street 10), built at the turn of the 20th century for a prominent agronomist, entrepreneur and civic activist. Its turrets, complicated roof line, and ornamental window surrounds hark back to a traditional “folk” style launched by the artist Ivan Ropet in the 1870s.

Wooden apartments & Jewish influence

Omsk also had examples of refined “constructivist” log apartment buildings built throughout Russia as a relatively inexpensive means to address housing needs in the early Soviet period. The apartment building at Tara Street 32 (now demolished) showed a restrained but elegant design with window shafts for stairwells above the entrances.

In addition to family dwellings, I also photographed a large 19th-century wooden building that served as a barracks and military hospital. The survival of this building, visible from the street on an active military base, was wholly unexpected.

In conclusion, one of the best examples of wooden architecture in Omsk is the so-called Soldiers Synagogue (Marshal Zhukov Street 53), built in 1855 for a community of “cantonists”, soldiers taken at an early age from Jewish communities during the reign of Nicholas I to serve in the army throughout the empire. At the end of a long period of schooling and service, they were allowed to remain in their place of service without restrictions that existed in the Pale of Settlement.

In 1854, the Omsk community of 178 registered Jews chose a rabbi and gathered the funds to erect a beautiful wooden synagogue decorated in a “Moorish” style. Miraculously, the building has survived as a national landmark, despite the difficulties imposed on the community during the Soviet period. Closed in the early 1920s, the building was long used as the House of Sanitary Education.

Another synagogue, built in 1873, served the Jewish community for some decades, but it was destroyed by fire and razed in the 1970s. This left the community without a formal place of worship until 1991, when the Soldiers Synagogue was returned as a house of worship to the Or Hadash (“New Light”) community.

Damaged by fire in 1995, the synagogue was carefully restored, with plank siding, with “Moorish” crowns for the upper windows and an ornamental cornice. Another example of a log house of worship is the Hodja Akhmed Mosque (Marshal Zhukov Street 97), originally the house of D.V. Proskuriakov.

As in other Siberian cities, wooden architecture provided a special charm to the historic center of Omsk, but in recent decades the number of these structures has steadily decreased under the pressures of urban development and inadequate maintenance. Photographs can at least remind one of this page in Russian urban history.

In the early 20th century, Russian photographer Sergey Prokudin-Gorsky developed a complex process for color photography. Between 1903 and 1916, he traveled through the Russian Empire and took over 2,000 photographs with the process, which involved three exposures on a glass plate. In August 1918, he left Russia and ultimately resettled in France where he was reunited with a large part of his collection of glass negatives, as well as 13 albums of contact prints. After his death in Paris in 1944, his heirs sold the collection to the Library of Congress. In the early 21st century, the Library digitized the Prokudin-Gorsky Collection and made it freely available to the global public. A few Russian websites now have versions of the collection. In 1986, architectural historian and photographer William Brumfield organized the first exhibit of Prokudin-Gorsky photographs at the Library of Congress. Over a period of work in Russia beginning in 1970, Brumfield has photographed most of the sites visited by Prokudin-Gorsky. This series of articles juxtaposes Prokudin-Gorsky’s views of architectural monuments with photographs taken by Brumfield decades later.

The Top 12 Things to Do in Omsk

Feel the love in the very heart of Russia

In Russia, all roads lead to Moscow , on account of the city's status as the national capital and its importance throughout history. If geography were the deciding factor, however, the Siberian city of Omsk would be the point where all Russia's roads converge—it's located literally in the heart of the country, approximately as far from Vladivostok as it is from the Belarusian border. Omsk boasts a spate of exciting attractions, even if you simply make a stop here as you ride the Trans-Siberian Railway eastward or westward.

Orthodox architecture never gets old, even if you've been traveling in Russia for a long time. This is particularly the case when it comes to the Assumption Cathedral of Omsk, whose gold-and-turquoise domes look resplendent under the blue skies that bless Omsk during the warmer months of the year. The cathedral was built in 1891 under the orders Nicholas, the last Tsar of Russia.

Time Travel at Omsk Fortress

The bad news? Much of what was once Omsk Fortress is now a residential area, with the only notable landmark that still stands being Tobolsk Gate (think Paris' Arc de Triomphe , but yellow and smaller). The good news? There's essentially no reason for a military fortification to exist in today's peaceful Omsk, which means you can stroll amid parks and cafés and imagine the area being war-torn—a small sacrifice to make in exchange for not being blown to bits.

Go Green at Ptich'ya Gavan'

Or white, as it were: Omsk is covered with snow several months of the year, which means that its prized Ptich'ya Gavan' central park is often more of a winter wonderland than the green reprieve you experience in summer. The park is popular with local families, to whom you can say "Privet" (Hello) as you walk past.

Walk on Omsk's Artsy Side

Although the building that houses Omsk District Museum of Visual Arts is unmistakably Russian, the collection you find inside is surprisingly eclectic for a city deep in Russia's interior. Recent collections have included a revival of Van Gogh's great works, among others. This is a particularly enjoyable Omsk attraction on cold winter days, when temperatures can drop far below freezing and sunshine can be rare.

Shoot for the Moon

Worldwide Planetarium Database

Though Omsk is a relatively large city, the skies over it become dark enough in the evening for stargazing. While visitors are not permitted to use the expensive telescopes housed inside, exhibits inside the museum provide a fascinating look into the cosmos, narrated by expert astronomical guides.

Shop on Lenin Street

Lenin Street's name is appropriate: Although it's the high street of a city thousands of miles from Moscow, the European-style architecture and cosmopolitan vibe you feel as you stroll past its boutique and cafés evokes the capital of Russia more than its forlorn interior. Local specialties you can purchase here include rustic jams made from local berries (and even, in some shops, cedar cones), as well as handmade rugs from Kazakhstan, which sits just south of Omsk.

Sample Siberian Cuisine

Speaking of unique Siberian food, it's not just preserves made from the fruits of evergreen trees. Omsk is a great place to discover the flavors of Russia's wild interior, whether you eat zagutai and stroganini (Siberia's take on sushi) or classic Russian plmeni dumplings filled with decidedly Siberian ingredients, such as bear and rabbit meat. Vkusno ! (That's Russian for "delicious"!)

Enjoy Historical Houses—While You Still Can

Simon Richmond/Getty Images

The wooden houses that line Nikolskiy Prospekt aren't protected, but they should be. Historical structures that are unfortunately in a state of disrepair, these houses are slated for demolition at some unspecific point in the future. Be sure to catch a glimpse of these historical house before they're gone. There will, however, be at least one left standing for a long time. The Omsk State Art Museum is in a traditional wooden house.

Go to the Circus

Vladislav Domnich/Getty Images

Omsk State Circus is a popular spot for local families, whose children love the opportunity to see acrobatic performances and animals that wouldn't otherwise make appearance in Siberia. If you do attend a show here, keep in mind that ethics with regard to animal treatment might not match up with those in North America or Western Europe, to say nothing of the smell that can pervade the auditorium during and even after a show.

Be a Drama Queen

While there's no guarantee that any shows will be playing at Omsk Drama Theater at the time of your trip, a visit to this 19th century building is a spectacle in and of itself. While not as huge, say, as Moscow's Bolshoi Theatre, it's nonetheless an ornate architectural wonder that hearkens back to a glorious time in history. The interior of the theater is even open during the daytime; ask the person who's inside if any tours are available when you turn up.

Explore Cities Deeper in Siberia

Siberia starts in Omsk, even if you can't continue far into it. If you don't plan to travel on the Trans-Siberian Railway, take one of two day trips from Omsk. Travel to Tobolsk, whose hilltop Kremlin is one of the most picturesque in all of Russia, and whose beauty inspired a photo by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev that ended up winning several awards. Or visit Tomsk, where you'll find a botanical garden dedicated to Siberian flora, and a museum that celebrates wooden architecture.

Ride the Trans-Siberian Railway

The idea of leaving Omsk behind can seem difficult, especially now that you've gotten to know this city in the heart of Siberia as well as you have. The mint-colored facade of Omsk Railway Station will make you smile, however, even if you're crying inside as you depart. Though it's not quite on the mid-line of the Trans-Siberian route between Moscow and Beijing , Omsk is a worthy starting place to begin a journey to either. If you head east make sure to stop in Irkutsk , the home of Lake Baikal and another underrated Siberian city.
