I've been to this yacht club a few times in the past, it's in a beautiful location on North Clearwater Beach. Previously, I hadn't been overly impressed for any specific reason. This time, however, my experience was made exceptional because of one staff member by the name of John. John was incredibly attentive at a baby shower, of all things. He made jokes, got the attention of 35 chatty women and children, he managed the room incredibly well with stealth and grace. He is an asset to the club and we should clone him as his style of service is impeccable. The food was delicious but the service really made the five star experience!

I just had my daughters wedding at the Carlouel Yacht Club, the venue is beautiful and even the food better then average, the only let down was paying for the bar tab. We had an open bar, of course, and most of my guests had a drink or 2. But what I didn't realize is that if anyone would put their drink down to dance or converse at another table it was quickly cleared away. Drinks that were more than half way full. This obviously led to guests getting more drinks. This happened over and over again. I notified the yacht club and told them my good friend had mentioned it to them that night but they insisted their staff is reminded to not take glasses unless empty. So wedding planners beware of a hefty bar bill!!!

Magnificent setting on the water. Food was phenomenal, service friendly and impeccable. The fire pit is an ideal spot to light up a cigar and enjoy the views.

The Mahi is a must get. Had a very nice time with friends and co-workers. 2nd time I've been there and it definitely did not disappoint. The views are wonderful as well.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner at Carlouel Yacht Club. The service provided by Kate in the bar is extraordinary - she makes coming to Carlouel fun! Chef Kyle keeps us coming back with his imaginative entree choices - all have been excellent.

Join us as we visit the beautiful Carlouel Yacht Club in Clearwater Beach and enjoy a fun day at the beach and by the pool with other Harvard and Stanford alumni and their families.

The Harvard Club will have a Family Fun Beach Day at the lovely Carlouel Yacht Club in Clearwater.  A fun day at the beach and by the pool with lunch.

Arrive from 10:00am onwards.  Attendees can use the private beach or hang out by the clubhouse and pool.  Lawn games also available.

The Club will provide a lunch buffet (hamburgers, chicken fingers, sides and dessert) along with water, iced tea and lemonade.  (Cash bar available)

Beach Day:   Saturday, July 14, 2018

Time:  10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
