Helios is a custom motor yacht launched in 2001 by Oceanco in Alblasserdam, Netherlands and most recently refitted in 2018.

Oceanco specialises in building large custom yachts up to 160m in length.

Helios measures 59.10 metres in length, with a max draft of 3.64 metres and a beam of 10.50 metres. She has a gross tonnage of 910 tonnes. She has a deck material of teak.

Helios has a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure.

Based in the yachting capital of the world in Monaco, The A Group is an established and diversified architectural group with a multidisciplined team providing expertise in the areas of naval architecture, yachting, interior design and architecture.

Her interior design is by Hallberg Wisley.

Helios also features naval architecture by The A Group and Richard Hein.

59m Oceanco renamed Treehouse following six-week refit

The 59-metre Oceanco superyacht Treehouse , formerly known as Helios , has completed a short refit period at her home shipyard following a change of ownership in October 2022. 

After winter spent in the Caribbean, she arrived at the Oceanco shipyard in April and left earlier this month bearing a new name on her transom. 

The six-week refit period saw Treehouse receive a number of technical upgrades and "aesthetic refinements" following her first season cruising with new owners. Upgrades focussed on the yacht's propeller shaft seals and generators as well as new paintwork. 

On completion of work, she headed into the North Sea and is now cruising in Norway, according to BOATPro's AIS Fleet Tracker . 

“It is always a pleasure to welcome home a timeless classic from the Oceanco fleet. With the executed upgrades, we trust that the owners will continue to have the best possible experience on board and look forward to seeing Treehouse visiting breathtaking places around the world,” said refit project manager Frederik Marks.

The shipyard period comes two years after a major 18-month refit completed at La Ciotat, which saw a complete restoration of the vessel, then named Helios. This included the replacement of all the teak as well as a reimagined interior and remodelled sundeck.

Treehouse was first launched in 2001 as Pegasus and can sleep up to 12 guests and 17 crew.

A Summary of Sailing Yacht HELIOS

The ample luxury yacht HELIOS is a sailing yacht. This 45 m (149 ft) luxury yacht was developed by Perini Navi in 2007. HELIOS was formerly called C.2099. Superyacht HELIOS is a majestic yacht that is able to accommodate up to 12 people on board and has a total of 6 professional crew. Ready for launch for 2007 this boat’s internal styling demonstrates the perspicacious tendencies from Perini Navi and their approach to interior yacht design.

The New Build & Designing with respect to Luxury Yacht HELIOS

The yacht's general design work came from Perini Navi and Ron Holland Design. The formal naval architecture drawings are the work of Perini Navi. Sailing Yacht HELIOS received her elegant interior designing from the interior design firm of Perini Navi. In 2007 she was actually launched with triumph in Viareggio and post sea trials and finishing touches was thereafter passed on to the owner. Perini Navi completed their new build sailing yacht in Italy. A fairly large feeling is brought about with a total beam (width) of 9.73 metres or 32 ft. With a 8.75m (28.7ft) draught (maximum depth) she is 8.75 (28.7 ft). The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the sailing yacht. Her superstructure above deck is fashioned from aluminium.

S/Y HELIOS Engineering & Speed:

HELIOS is engineered with a single efficient CATERPILLAR main engine(s) and can attain a swift top continuous speed of around 14 knots. The main engine of the yacht produces 1257 horse power (or 938 kilowatts). Her total HP is 1257 HP and her total Kilowatts are 938. Coupled to the HELIOS engines are a single screw propeller. The boat’s languid cruise speed is 10 knots which provides a range of 4100.

Superyacht HELIOS Has Guest Accommodation:

The ample luxury yacht S/Y HELIOS is able to accommodate as many as 12 guests in addition to 6 qualified crew.

How to book a yacht charter?

Our dedicated charter consultant will help you select the right yacht, based on your needs and preferences, plan your itinerary and help arrange all logistics before, during and after the charter.

How much is the crew gratuity (tip)?

A crew gratuity is customary but at the Charterer’s discretion. Usually varies from 10% to 20% of the charter fee, based on the charterer’s satisfaction.

What is the Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA)?

The Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA) covers any running expenses while on board (e.g. transport, fuel, food & drink supplies, berthing dues, harbor charges, agency fees, equipment requested etc.). The APA is usually calculated as 30-40% of the charter fee, depending on the yacht. At the end of the charter, the captain will present to the charterer a detailed analysis of all expenses. Any APA not spent or any costs not covered sufficiently by the APA, will be settled between the parties at the end of the charter.

How is the charter rate calculated?

The charter rate, usually different for high and low seasons, is quoted per week.

For charters longer than a week, the charter rate is calculated by dividing the weekly rate by seven and multiplying by the number of charter days.

Charters lasting less than a week are usually calculated by dividing the weekly rate by six and multiplying by the number of charter days.

What support does OCEDA offer during the charter process?

We remain on hand throughout the charter to assist in any support required by our charterer clients such as organising an event onboard, booking restaurants, activities and handling any health and safety emergencies.

Oceda also can provide full support to the crew onboard via our agency team such as itinerary planning, the handling of all port formalities, provisioning and fuelling of the yacht.

What are the charter duration and booking lead time?

The charter duration depends on the yacht’s availability. A charter can last from 1 day (for some of the yachts) to more than a month, also depending on how long the charterer wants to charter. To ensure finding the perfect yacht for you we recommend that clients reach out to us at least 6 months in advance to the high season and up to three months in advance for off-peak season.

What are the costs the charter fee covers?

Under MYBA terms, the charter fee only covers the hire of the yacht with the crew on board. All additional expenses are covered by the chartering party. To cover such expenses an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) is required to cover any provisioning, fueling mooring and legal fees. Any APA not spent or any costs not covered sufficiently by the APA paid will be settled between the parties at the end of the charter. The APA is usually calculated as 30-40% of the charter fee. The charterer should also consider VAT and potential gratuities to the crew for their decision on a yacht.

What kind of yachts are available for charter?

There is a huge selection of yachts available for charter with motor and sailing yachts ranging from a few meters to 90m plus. Depending on the needs of the charterer, in OCEDA we can find a yacht that suits your needs, whether that is one with a vast selection of water toys for a family charter or a classic sailing yacht.

What are the main charter seasons?

There are two main peak seasons in the yachting industry – summer and winter. The summer season spans from May to October with the Mediterranean and Northern Europe being the most popular choices, while the winter season starts in November through April with the Caribbean, Florida and the Indian Ocean usually being the location of choice.

Pleasantly surprised, service is good so is the food. Great selection of Fusion food, a mixture of Italian, Japanese, European, Asian etc. A pleasantly nice dining experience, highly recommended, a must try!

Best food, best view in Moscow. absolutely faultless from arrival to finish. Best risotto i had for many years absolutely perfectly cooked. The view on Ukrainian hotel and the white house by night is amazing

Had to wait for the food for 1.5 hours and then another 20 minutes for the check. Finally called for the manager and he offered... a 10% discount as a compensation. Simply pathetic! The food is mediocre at best. Not bad per se, but one... would expect something better considering the prices. There are many places to eat in area that are much better. Avoid this one at all costs. Food is very expensive,very pretentious, doesn't worth that money. Portions are very small. We ordered ravioli and there were 4! Four raviolis! For almost 15 euros. Then we asked to bring us dessert menu but nothing, they didn't even bothered, so we payed and left... without dessert. Very poor service for that price. More

This is a very good restaurant. The food is really good, maybe the best in Moscow. The service is also good. The view from the restaurant is great. The prices are very high.

I often visit this restaurant and must say it’s one of the best in Moscow in terms of quality and service. Staff really try hard to make sure that you are happy and satisfied. Customer service is a huge problem in Moscow but Chaika sets... a great example for others in the industry! Food is delicious and the menu has lots of options for everyone! Visited this lovely restaurant with a friend of mine. It was relaxingly warm August evening - so the place on the river seemed like a good idea. We came quite early and the restaurant was not full. The hostesses kindly offered several places to sit... and we chose to sit on the sofas. We had some wine, which was good. We struggled a bit when deciding about the food as few options (scallops) were not available. Fish on ice on display did not look very fresh. To be honest it was an unusually hot August and it is probably understandable that some see food options were not available. However, we did manage to order something and sat waiting and looking onto the river. My long-legged friend struggled sitting at the low sofa and the manager noticed that, offering as a very good, proper table beside the open window. It was nice touch and I was very pleased by their polite observations and immediate reaction to solve the problem. Food was quite good and presentation was perfect. Perhaps I can something about the food, but 1 visit is not enough to criticize or make a definitive opinion. Overall, quality place, which of course, does not come cheap. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. More

The luxurious atmosphere of this place, the view and the location make it quite outstanding. We had dinner here with friends and the dishes were amazing, accompanied by a chilled bottle of Chablis, it really made me feel as if it was a part of... the classic Russian movie. More

The 59.1m/193'11" motor yacht 'Treehouse' by the Dutch shipyard Oceanco offers flexible accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 cabins and features interior styling by Hallberg & Wisely.

From bow to stern, Treehouse is brimming with an fantastic array of social and dining areas, both inside and out, making her the ideal yacht for relaxing and entertaining whilst on charter. She has sensational features such as a movie theatre, beach club and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2001, Treehouse offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 suites comprising a master suite located on the main deck, four double cabins and one twin cabin. The master suite incorporates its own study and dressing room. There are 9 beds in total, including 5 king, 2 doubles and 4 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 16 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

A charter on Treehouse is comfortable and convenient thanks to the provided amenities such as a state-of-the-art movie theatre for movie nights. Even the most discerning of charter guests will enjoy the included beach club and maintain your fitness routine and work out in the well-equipped gym. Soak up the bubbles in style in the deck jacuzzi.

Treehouse benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter such as air conditioning to keep your comfortable throughout your charter.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 13 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots with a range of up to 7,200 nautical miles from her 167,000 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots.

Treehouse has aboard a plentiful range of water toys and accessories ready to entertain you and your guests whilst on charter. Principle among these is a Flyboard which is a must for any self-respecting thrill-seeker, prepare for supersize thrills - even beginners will enjoy the thrill of swooping skywards and ‘dolphining’ back into the water. In addition there are waterslides for guests of all ages to enjoy. Take to the sea on a Jet Ski offering you power and control on the water. If that isn't enough Treehouse also features towable toys, waterskis, scuba diving equipment, a seabob, wakeboards. When it comes to Tenders, Treehouse has you covered - with three tenders, including a 8.53m/28' Intrepid Tender.

Treehouse and her crew are available for charter this winter for cruising within the Caribbean. She is already accepting bookings this summer for cruising in the Mediterranean.
