Realistic 3D ship simulation

NAUTIS Home is based on our professional NAUTIS software. This results in an immersive, 3D simulation experience with realistic hydrodynamics and vessel behavior. You can train your skills and sail in highly realistic settings.

Multiple training modes

Explore the oceans in Free-roam mode and select your own vessel, environment, and weather conditions. Do you want to enjoy a sunny day in Hong Kong or face a storm off the coast of New York? Whatever floats your boat! Would you rather train your nautical skills? Choose Training mode and select a course from our library to practice challenging situations.

Nautical training

Through scenarios you can experience different aspects of nautical training. Learn to make a sharp turn, or train to manoeuvre in high traffic waters and narrow straits. Work your way up from beginner-level manoeuvring to more advanced. New courseware will be added continuously in the Early Access phase, such as anchoring and mooring coming soon!

NAUTIS Home is based on our professional NAUTIS software. This results in an immersive, 3D simulation experience with hydrodynamics and vessel behaviour. You can train your skills and sail in realistic settings.

Briefing and assessment

The training scenarios start with a scenario briefing and pre-defined route overview. Can you complete all the objectives as a helmsman? Find out in the assessment followed upon completion of the scenario. Track your progress to continue improving your maritime skills.

Real environments and vessels

The Early Access release of NAUTIS Home will contain 10 vessels (Tugboat, Inland, Coaster, Container, Ferry, Cruise, Yacht and more) and 8 environments (Rotterdam, Hong Kong, New York and more). But there is more news! NAUTIS Home will be under continuous development to keep adding more content.

User friendly interface

Our goal is to make the NAUTIS Home interface as user-friendly as possible. You only need one screen to sail for the Outside view, Chart, Radar, Conning and On-screen controls. If you have an extra monitor, panels such as Chart or Radar can be moved to that screen to create a larger view and more space. Through the Action bar, pop-up panels can be accessed. Good news, we are working on supporting a USB controller. Stay tuned!

What to expect:.

Until now, maritime simulation was only accessible with professional, large simulators at training locations or through companies and schools. NAUTIS Home is here to change that! We want to make ship simulation available for everyone.

NAUTIS Home offers affordable, accessible simulation training to continue learning and practicing nautical skills for the (ex)-maritime professionals for a lifelong learning. It is also ideal for soon to be maritime students wanting a low-threshold intro to ship simulation and getting a head start.

• Minimum CPU: Intel i5 or AMD equivalent.
• Minimum HDD: 15 GB free space.
• Minimum system memory: 16 GB.
• An active internet connection.

The Early Access release of NAUTIS Home is only the beginning!

The NAUTIS Home software will stay under continuous development which means our team will introduce new features, add new vessels and environments, and improve the overall simulation experience throughout.

It is our goal to create an enthusiastic community with dedicated users. For that reason, multiplayer has a prominent place on the roadmap and will be rolled out in phases next year. Our aim is to have a feature complete NAUTIS Home ready by the end of 2023.

What training modes does NAUTIS Home have?

NAUTIS Home contains 2 training modes: free-roaming and scenarios.  

In the free-roam setting, you can select your own vessel and environment from the library and set your preferred weather and ocean conditions. You can explore, experiment and sail independently.  

In a scenario, you sail a pre-defined route starting with a briefing and your objectives. Upon completion, you will receive an assessment to get a good insight into your performance.
