Extra to the charterer’s account are guests food and bottled water (a set amount which may be paid in advance), bar, port taxes & harbour dues outside Turkish Waters. Inclusive terms and port taxes & harbour dues can vary with some yachts and locations. Prices exclude VAT (if applicable). VAT calculation depends on the embarkation port' country and on the cruising area. Charters shorter than a week are also available, depending on the date.

Wally Yachts for Sale

Established with a focus on designing and building some of the world’s most innovative and performance-driven luxury sailing and motor yachts, Wally represents a very different Italian superyacht style. Wally was founded in 1994 by Italian businessman Luca Bassani, a lifelong sailor who entered the custom yacht-building field in 1991 with the design of a yacht for his family. Luca Bassani is known as a passionate yachtsman and a visionary entrepreneur.

Wally initially specialized in sailboat design, however, over the years the company extended its reach and began to also design state-of-the-art motor yachts. Wally is recognized worldwide for its innovative design and advanced carbon fiber construction techniques. In terms of specializations, Wally’s innovative designs undergo a stringent process from drawing board to CAD review, to detailed construction.

In 1994 Luca launched his 104.9-foot (32m) Luca Brenta-designed WALLYGATOR. Since then, the company’s line has ranged from the Nano 36-foot (11m) daysailer and racer, to sailing and motor yachts up to 197-feet (60m) in length.

As a company, Wally is based in Monaco. Since 2019, when the Ferretti Group announced an exclusive license agreement with the shipyard, all Wally yachts have been constructed at Ferretti Group yards, mostly at their facility in Ancona.

Wally have changed the entire concept of cruising yachts and built an iconic brand both in the yachting industry and in the luxury market.

History of Wally Yachts

In 1994 Wally was founded by Luca Bassani, as a shipyard that specializes in sail boat design. Over the past two decades, the company has been a pioneer in carbon fiber construction, having also introduced numerous production innovations to the process.

Wally combines the latest technology with contemporary design and its products go through an intensive and unique research and development program. Every Wally is the result of a combination of form and function, which means that every technical solution is developed with consideration for the overall aesthetic beauty. Every detail and every fitting is carefully analyzed and designed to contribute to the overall Wally appeal.

In 2004 and then in 2008, Wally became the only yachting brand to be a two-time winner of the Compasso d’oro, arguably the world’s most important award for quality and design.

In January 2019, at the Boot Düsseldorf Boat Show, the Ferretti Group announced that they had entered into an exclusive license agreement with Wally, representing a significant step towards the group’s full acquisition of the brand. The agreement also heralded the start of a four-year period of investment in Wally from the Ferretti Group, including an €84 million fund to be used for brand development and the design and construction of new yacht ranges.

Wally are constantly looking for ways to improve on-the-water enjoyment through performance, comfort, and style.

The Wally collection

The Wally collection ranges from the Nano 36-foot (11m) daysailer and racer, to sailing and motor yachts up to 197-feet (60m) in length.

Among Wally’s many world-renowned projects is the 118 WallyPower, a sleek and futuristic looking motor boat, which featured in the film ‘The Island’. The first 118 WallyPower was built in Italy and launched in August 2003, named GALEOCERDO. The futuristic lines, reminiscent of a stealth bomber, have won many awards and this unusual, dynamic-looking boat still generates huge discussion, turning heads wherever she goes. GALEOCERDO was also showcased in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art architecture and design exhibition in 2004/05 – the only yacht to be featured.

In 2012, Wally launched the 166-foot (50.5m) sailing superyacht BETTER PLACE. At the time, the worlds’ largest sloop built from carbon fiber composite, she was designed by Tripp Design with an interior by Wetzels Brown Partners. BETTER PLACE was Wally’s first diesel-electric sailing yacht and is powered via a standard shaft and feathering prop. With all three Caterpillar C7 gensets in operation, the yacht runs at 14.5 knots through a Siemens electric engine.

Today, Wally offers custom-built sailing yachts from 80-foot (24m), a power boat line which includes production boats ranging from 52 to 80 feet (15 to 24m), the Wallyace line of displacement semi-custom yachts, custom displacement motor yachts over 148 feet (45m), the Wally Class division of performance-orientated high-power racing yachts, and three models of Wally tender.

The Wally Class racing division also stages four regattas in the Mediterranean, featuring a successful formula where owners at the helm are assisted by the world’s greatest sailing talents from America’s Cup, Olympic, and VOR teams.

24m Wally Rose wins the Superyacht Cup Palma

After three days of racing at the Superyacht Cup Palma, the 24-metre Wally sailing yacht Rose was crowned overall winner, becoming the first Wally to win Europe's longest-running superyacht regatta.

With two wins in Class B already on account, Rose began the final day of racing in pole position and secured the final win for a perfect scoreline — but only by five seconds on corrected time with Swan 100 Onyx and crew nipping at her transom, finishing second in class .  

Speaking at the prizegiving ceremony held on the terrace of the Real Club Náutico de Palma, Rose's tactician Jesper Radich said: "This year was amazing for us — at times it was difficult but by the end we had super conditions. It was windy, it was sunny, it was shifty, so not a straightforward course and you really had to make decisions on every leg. We only won by five seconds, and it doesn't get any closer than that after two hours of racing. I've done a lot of match racing and that was what it was like out there, a lot of fun."

Three of the five yachts competing in Class B were making their Superyacht Cup Palma debut Close competition, including Onyx, Lady M and 2021 Millenium Cup winner Miss Silver. 

Class A saw close contest too with the J Class classic Velsheda claiming victory with two race wins, finishing a point ahead of her J Class rival and former class winner Svea , who posted a 2-2-2 scoreline. Both were clear of Vitters sailing yacht Ribelle — who won day two — and Pattoo .

"We have just come out of a major refit, so it was great to be here, one hundred per cent," said the skipper of Velsheda Barney Henshaw-Depledge. "We had a good first day and then the second was more painful as we were OCS, but today I guess we got lucky. We have had ups and downs in Palma but it's great and the conditions are so good. It's been great."

The Superyacht Cup Palma 2024 will be held from 19 June to 22 June.

About Luxury yacht MYRA

The Turkish Ege Yat yacht builders designed and built M/S Myra in 2003, and it was refurbished in 2021/22. Myra is a traditional-looking motor sailer that is exceptionally beautiful, classic, and sophisticated. Her schooner's outside steel hull adds value and is a one-of-a-kind characteristic. Her appearance is stunning, with gloss varnished bulwarks and a teak deck. Fine wood panels and teak-holly inlay flooring adorn the interior, which is both roomy and pleasant.

The salon is located in the elevated deck house, with huge windows that provide plenty of natural light and excellent views. Two formal dining tables on the port side comfortably accommodate all 12 guests, while a built-in couch and coffee table on the starboard side welcome visitors to unwind in style. Indoor entertainment includes a flat-screen TV and an audio system. Four double guest cabins are located ahead of the salon, while two twin guest cabins are located aft of the salon, each of which have private amenities.

On the charter boat MYRA, there is plenty of outside living space. The aft deck has outdoor dining, seating, and aft-facing sun beds, with shade supplied by a Bimini cover. On the foredeck, there are more sun loungers for everyone.

With spacious wrap-around teak decks and high railings, the sailing schooner Myra is easy to wander around both at anchor and under sail.

Vladimir Putin has reportedly ordered rolling energy blackouts across Moscow as temperatures reach - 22C. The blackouts are said to cover the entire metropolitan area of Russia's which has a total population of around 22 million. The order issued states that electricity is "not to exceed 12 hours per day" with the blackouts in place from January 14 through March 31 2024, according to Ukraine commentator Igor Sushko.

Sushko posted on X: "The entire Moscow metropolitan area, population 22 million, will have rolling blackouts of electricity "not to exceed 12 hours per day" from January 14 through March 31, 2024. - announced by the fascist state."

It comes after a heating main ruptured at the Klimovsk Specialised Ammunition Plant in Podolsk, about 30 miles south of central Moscow, on January 4. As a result, tens of thousands of Russians are said to be without heat in their homes in the Moscow region due to subzero temperatures.

According to a map published by a Russian Telegram channel and circulated on various social media platforms, the affected areas include cities such as Khimki, Balashikha, Lobnya, Lyubertsy, Podolsk, Chekhov, Naro-Fominsk, and Podolsk.

Residents in Moscow, specifically Balashikha, Elektrostal, Solnechnogorsk, Dmitrov, Domodedovo, Troitsk, Taldom, Orekhovo-Zuyevo, Krasnogorsk, Pushkino, Ramenskoye, Voskresensk, Losino-Petrovsky, and Selyatino, are also experiencing power outages, according to other Russian media reports.

Power outages have been reported in St. Petersburg, Rostov, Volgograd, Voronezh, and Primorsky. Meanwhile, a huge fire tore through a large warehouse used by Russia ’s largest online retailer south of St Petersburg on Saturday morning.

The blaze covered an area of 70,000 square meters, with 50,000 square meters of the Wildberries warehouse collapsing, according to Russia ’s Emergency Situations Ministry. No casualties were reported.

Videos posted to social media appeared to show employees running down fire escapes and fleeing the scene. A video shot from a passenger jet flying nearby showed flames totally engulfing the warehouse, sending huge plumes of smoke into the sky.

24m Ice-Class Explorer Yacht // SOYASLAN

Turkish naval architecture and yacht design studio soyaslan created a 24m explorer yacht with an ice-class currently under construction and with interior design by baz design..

The 24m ice class explorer yacht called ICE has an operating range of 4,000 nautical miles at a speed of 10.5 knots. ICE is currently under construction at the SOYASLAN shipyard in Tuzla, Turkey.

“Ice was built for an experienced owner, who shared a lot of valuable feedback with us,” finishes Soyaslan . “The result is a yacht which we are proud to offer as a semi-series model. Discerning customers can order their own 24m Ice yacht, finished to their own custom requirements. I think she can satisfy any experienced boat owner who gives credit to technical superiority and wants smooth, stable and secure cruising.”

“We have relished the challenge of creating such a technically capable vessel and fitting it into a sub-24m platform,” says Soyaslan . “Our engineering team has played a key role in working around supply-chain bottlenecks and material shortages. We believe she will be one of the toughest explorer yachts on the market.”

Interior design of ICE by BAZ Design

The main deck contains the full-beam master suite forward and the salon aft. The guest cabins (three double cabins, one twin cabin) and the crew quarter for up to three persons are on the lower deck.

The tender is stored on the sun deck behind the wheelhouse. The crane lifts 600 kg. The bathing platform can carry another tender or jet-ski.
