High gloss wood panelling runs throughout the generous guest cabins, all serviced by dedicated en suites and paired with an aft, climate-controlled winter garden with room enough for 18 guests to dine.

HER DESTINY

Offering a whiter shade of pale inside and out, HER DESTINY is a lesson in using minimalist design to maximum effect. Reflective ceilings and large windows create a light and airy ambience.

Subtle strip lighting, silver veined marble and accents of grey transform a master bedroom and bathroom en suite into a zen retreat for the ultimate superyacht bedroom.

Pristine design is at the heart of Her Destiny’s neutral, white tones, in which three guest cabins and a children's cabin with four single berths accommodate friends and family.

HER DESTINY has been renamed ANGKALIA.

LADY MICHELLE

LADY MICHELLE’s expansive sun deck with large jacuzzi and sheltered gym is paired with an open air cinema for starlit movie nights, and timeless Lalique fixtures.

The stunning, two-level master suite takes in a private observation deck for those keen to drink in sprawling vistas or wake to a tropical sunrise.

Fresh from a 2020 refit, nautical features abound in a yacht interior conceived by Stefano Natucci that prizes detail and space, with a bridge deck VIP and six sumptuous guest cabins.

LADY MICHELLE has been renamed NEXT CHAPTER.

Sleek and sporty AQUAMARINA takes design inspiration from her name with a striking metallic turquoise exterior and a Cristiano Gatto interior to match.

Italian prestige rules in a spacious master suite with private office on the main deck. Luxurious silks, metallic mosaics and artisanal inlaid wooden panels abound.

Drink in 180-degree views from the comfort of a vast bed in the impressive VIP bridge deck suite with windows on to the water. A further four cabins accommodate a total of 12 guests.

BARBARA sports an award-winning interior, where rejuvenation and entertainment permeate six levels, from the lower deck spa to the sun deck wellness centre with jacuzzi, gym and sun pads.

Key to the stylish split owner's suite is a double height study with port and starboard folding balconies and double height glass sliding doors – a rare treat on this impressive 88m boat.

Comfortably accommodating 12 guests, BARBARA appeals at every turn. Key features include an aquarium that mirrors an aquatic reef and an outdoor cinema for silver screen enthusiasts.

Some people are into big, bright windows with a light color scheme, others prefer a more dark and intimate setting.

ABBRACCI | 180’ Heesen 2011

ABBRACCI is a perfect example of the quality, flexibility, and durability of Heesen’s designs. As you enter the 1100-square foot owner’s suite, you first encounter a private office with a sofa and television. It’s not only a quiet place to work, but creates a buffer between the main deck foyer and the master stateroom.

The owner’s suite onboard this 180-foot Heesen is stunning; it uses the full 33-foot beam to create a vast, circular stateroom. The room is laid out around a forward-facing king berth. Natural light floods the room, and the large windows slide open so that you can enjoy the ocean breeze. The spacious ensuite bathroom rivals those of luxury hotels and comes with an oval tub and separate shower

VIATORIS | 133’ Conrad 2018

VIATORIS won the 2019 World Superyacht Award and you can see why as you tour the elegant interior. The entire forward section of the main deck is dedicated to the owner’s suite, which is finished with warm oak and rosewood.

The custom-designed master stateroom onboard this 133-foot Conrad features a centerline king berth, his and her ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet with a vanity, and an owner’s office space. Port and starboard folding balconies open up the room so that you can enjoy the ocean breeze. Breakfast in bed? Yes, please.

Numarine 37XP

You might need to pick your jaw up off the floor after seeing the owner’s accommodation on the Numarine 37XP . We have to specify that it’s the owner’s cabin because there is a separate master stateroom that’s equally as grand, minus a few features.

The full-beam owner’s stateroom on the Numarine 37XP is on the upper deck. The king-size bed faces aft to look out sliding glass doors with a view of the water. Heavy packers don’t have to worry about stealing closet space from their partner — a lengthy wardrobe has plenty of storage space for shoes and clothes. The same goes for the equally impressive sink and counter space in the ensuite bathroom. Other small but notable amenities in the owner’s stateroom include a minibar, safe, and dumb waiter.

CRESCENT LADY | 117’ Crescent 2020

The interior of CRESCENT LADY is seriously impressive as it’s a Gregory C. Marchall design . This yacht boasts a dark and moody interior that matches her Seattle home. The full-beam master stateroom features clean and contemporary styling with a walk-around king-size bed, a large walk-in wardrobe, and an ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub.

The master stateroom on this Crescent 117 also hosts a desk and vanity on the port side, plus a love seat below the starboard window. The simple, dark color scheme creates a cozy and intimate setting to relax after a day on the water.

Alpha Spritz 102

Alpha Custom Yachts thought of every last detail when designing the full-beam master stateroom on the Spritz 102 . It’s the forward most cabin on the lower deck and boasts a king-size bed, walk-in closet, desk area, lounge seating, ensuite bathroom, and plenty of storage. The hull windows are low to the water and provide plenty of natural light to create a comfortable space to relax.

The Spritz 102 is outfitted with floating walls, floors, and ceilings that are designed with insulation to reduce noise and vibrations so you can enjoy a quiet ride. One particular benefit to the floating floor configuration is the drain system (which can get a bit smelly on some older boats). Alpha Custom Yachts designed a drain system so that none of the odors from the bilge or rainwater tank permeate through the drainage system of the boat. You never have to worry about any unusual smells — a specific yet game-changing detail in the master stateroom.

On board the world's largest private residence yacht

The largest private residence yacht on the water - 196 metre superyacht The World - has welcomed back residents on board and will resume her extensive sailing program after more than a year in July 2021 . We take a look inside her interiors to reveal the luxury apartments and facilities on offer to those who call her home.

Apartments on board The World

The World has a total of 165 luxury residences on board and an average occupancy of 150 to 200 people at a time. There are currently 150 families originating from 20 different countries residing on board in apartments ranging from studio size to three-bedroom homes.

Marina restaurant

There are a total of six communal restaurants for residents to enjoy on board The World . Dishes served are inspired by the current location in which the superyacht is moored, with the culinary team sourcing ingredients from local markets, sometimes joined by residents on their excursions. Pictured above is Marina, a steakhouse with breathtaking views to the outdoors.

Three-bedroom residences

A three-bedroom residence such as the one pictured above offers an inviting grand foyer, a kitchen filled with premium cooking appliances, a dining area, three full bathrooms, a personal library, a living room with a fireplace and generous balcony space from which to enjoy the ever-changing views.

With outdoor balconies running the length of The World , residents can opt to enjoy sleeping under the stars in an al fresco "bali bed" for an atmospheric experience in warm weather climates.

The swimming pool

The World offers an on-board spa centre for residents to enjoy treatments and fitness activities, including a swimming pool and a fitness deck with outdoor equipment and machines that help you stay in shape while taking in the ocean views.

Fredy’s Deli Marketplace

Residents on board The World can head to Fredy’s Deli Marketplace to pick up groceries or snacks to prepare in their own kitchen.

Fredy’s Deli, a casual communal dining spot on board The World that's perfect for breakfast, offering fresh and local foods from around the globe and coffees prepared by the on-board barista.

East Restaurant

East restaurant serves both traditional and innovative Asian menus inspired by the cuisines of Japan, China, Thailand, and India. Expect dishes such as sushi and sashimi.

The wine vault

One of the unique features on board The World is an extensive wine vault. Over 14,000 bottles from 19 countries are stored on board, with restaurant menus offering an extensive selection of over 1,100 wines to pair with your dinner. The are also plenty of curated experiences for wine connoisseurs to enjoy on board; The World’s head sommelier welcomes select winemakers aboard to discuss wine production and pairing with the residents, while in port residents are invited on exclusive visits to vineyards around the world, some of which have not opened their doors to visitors in years.

Many guest bedrooms on a yacht have two beds so that it can accommodate more people. However, they are, as you’ll see below, still very, very luxurious. These are certainly cozy sleeping quarters.

Salon and Dinette Photos

My favorite room on the boat is the salon and/or dinette area. In many cases, the dinette doubles as the living room. Mega yachts have dedicated salons and dining areas. I love these superb lounge designs below in the cabin as well as the upper lounge areas.

I must admit that kitchens on these super yachts are fairly small. I guess the cooking is done by the staff and yacht owners prefer to have more space for bedrooms, deck space and lounge space. That makes sense given there really is limited space. Nevertheless, these kitchens are gorgeous and the yacht designers certainly didn’t skimp with respect to quality.

Most boats dedicate very little space to bathrooms. Not these. The primary bathrooms below are incredible. The smaller bathrooms are guest bathrooms. These luxury yachts are so large and spacious that even the bathrooms are both beautiful and comfortable to use.

You will also need food if you plan on traveling to a place where stopping somewhere for food is not a feasible option.

You also want to be prepared for the weather. Make sure you have the proper clothing for any weather occasion. Even on a warm summer day, nights can get cold out on the water. Make sure you have the proper long clothes and blankets.

The World's Most Exclusive Address Is Actually on a Yacht — and Its 39 Apartments Just Hit the Market

Take a peek inside the world's first residential superyacht.

Few trips are as luxurious as one aboard a superyacht . Impeccable service, stunning surroundings, exceptional amenities, and divine cuisine all combine to create a unique experience that you may never want to leave. Pretty soon, you won't have to buy a superyacht of your own to live on one. In 2024, the superyacht Somnio will launch with 39 luxurious apartments — a true floating paradise.

At 222 meters (or nearly 730 feet), and with 33,500 GRT (gross register tonnage), Somnio will be the largest yacht in the world by both length and volume. (The current record is Azzam, which measures 180 meters.) Somnio will cost a staggering €500 million and is being built by VARD in Norway.

Instead of the typical cabins aboard a yacht, every unit will be an ultra-luxury apartment with expansive windows. The smallest apartments are close to 2,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, while the largest spans over 10,300 square feet, including a nearly 4,000-square-foot private terrace. The interiors are completely bespoke, down to the layout. Somnio is working with three top design firms that specialize in yachting: Tillberg Design of Sweden, Winch Design, and Luttenberger Design.

Owners can choose the number of bedrooms and optional rooms, including a private kitchen, gym, or library. Every apartment will have a private outdoor space, a rarity among even the largest superyacht charters. (Most outdoor space is open to all guests aboard a yacht.) Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the apartments with light and allow for stunning views. Owners will be able to admire the iconic cliffs of the Amalfi Coast , the New York City skyline, or even see polar bears and penguins in Antarctica — all from the privacy of their apartments.

Naturally, the amenities aboard are extensive. There's a large aft deck for days at sea, which includes a beach club with a lap pool and two large spas. There are plenty of loungers and outdoor seating so you can soak up the sun and the views. For water sports, head to the marina at the stern of the yacht, where there will be experts in fishing, diving, snorkeling , and more. There's also a helicopter landing pad for residents looking to arrive in style.

Inside, there are multiple restaurants and bars. World-class chefs will board at select destinations to cook their famous cuisine and immerse owners in local culture. There's a 10,000-bottle wine cellar with incredible vintages, a top-deck lounge and library, a movie theater, and the Connoisseur Club for fine spirits and cigars. Health and wellness are a focus aboard, too; Somnia will have medical care aboard, and there's a great fitness area and a spa, as well.

A popular influencer, Soudi, residing in Dubai has an interesting list of things she wants from her 'millionaire' husband when she has a baby.

The video has gone viral, with people's jaws dropping at the couple's extravagant lifestyle and the 'reasonable', as she says in the caption, luxurious goods she wants.

First on the list is a $100,000 gender reveal at the Burj Al Arab. Outrageously expensive gender reveals seem to be a staple among the uber-rich all over the world. In Dubai, influencers have even conducted the spectacle at the Burj Khalifa, with the entire tower lighting up with the words 'It's a boy'.

Next is a $150,000 'mummy makeover' with 'top surgeons from the USA'. A 'mummy makeover' is slang for the plastic surgery and treatments that a new mother gets after giving birth, in order to return her body to its former state.

The next gift will depend on if the baby is a boy or a girl. If its a girl, Soudi wants a Dior collection. If its a boy, she wants a new super-yacht.

She rounds off the list with a demand to top them all - a 20-bedroom palace to house her, the baby, and all their staff.

Soudi has captioned the post, 'I think these are pretty reasonable, what do you think?'

The post drew many comments from netizens, with most criticising her opulent lifestyle and excessive demands, some citing the current situation in Gaza.

"This is gross when you think what’s happening in the world right now," commented one user.

"Sharing such content is making local image & stereotypes so wrong. This is shallow and materialistic and also offending to the time," said another user, referring to the holy month of Ramadan and the crisis in Gaza.

However, some comments were on a lighter note.

"All the upset people reacting, meanwhile she is cashing in on IG and tiktok and getting richer," said one user, with a laughing emoji.

"Sounds very reasonable to me. Does he have any brothers?," joked another.
