The award winning 60.5m/198'6" motor yacht 'Moonstone' was built by Amels in the Netherlands at their Vissingen shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Luxury Projects and she was delivered to her owner in July 2021. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Tim Heywood Design.

Moonstone has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising one VIP cabin and two cabins that can operate as twins or doubles. She is also capable of carrying up to 14 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

60m Amels motor yacht Moonstone joins market
The 60-metre Amels 200 motor yacht Moonstone has joined the market with Damon Smallwood of Superyacht Sales and Charter.
Delivered from Amels in 2021, the steel and aluminium yacht was designed by Tim Heywood and has an interior by Luxury Projects . Damen Yachting was responsible for the naval architecture.
Accommodation for a party of 12 includes a full-beam master suite at main deck level, with a balcony opening out to starboard and Mongolian marble in the bathroom. A large VIP suite is positioned up on the bridge deck and four guest cabins are found on the lower deck. There are quarters for a crew of 14.
On the sundeck is a Jacuzzi, gym and massage room. The bridge deck offers outdoor dining as well as a skylounge and the main deck provides a saloon with inviting seating areas and a formal dining table. Down on the lower deck is a beach club space with sauna, steam room and lounging area, opening out to the swim platform aft.
As well as a hybrid power system, using batteries instead of generators, Moonstone features a WASSP multi-beam sonar system that produces high-resolution bathymetric scanning, mapping out a live 3D view of the ocean floor.
The 1015GT yacht for sale is Lloyd's Register classed and has a range of 4,500 nautical miles at an economical speed of 12 knots. Cruising speed is 13.5 knots and top speed is 15.5 knots, under twin 1,850hp MTU engines.
Moonstone is lying in the Dominican Republic and asking €76,900,000.

Moonstone is a semi-custom motor yacht launched in 2021 by Amels, in the Netherlands.
AMELS are masters in the art of modern Dutch high-value yacht building. The yard is the largest superyacht facility in the Netherlands and one of the top superyacht builders in the world. In 2005 AMELS launched the successful LIMITED EDITIONS and delivered the first yacht of the series in 2007. The shipyard also specialises in the build of full-custom superyachts, with the in-construction Project Signature due to become the largest superyacht ever built in the Netherlands upon her scheduled launch in 2025.
Moonstone measures 60.00 metres in length, with a max draft of 3.40 feet and a beam of 10.60 feet. She has a gross tonnage of 1,015 tonnes.
Tim Heywood, the multi award-winning yacht designer, has produced some of the finest and largest yachts on the water. Among his exceptional designs is the stunning 133m Al Mirqab, which was awarded the coveted ‘Motor Yacht of the Year’ at the 2009 World Superyacht Awards.
Her interior design is by Luxury Projects.
Moonstone also features naval architecture by Damen Yachting.

The particularity of this 90 m yacht is its "faceted" hull which reflects the natural elements around and lights up at night. Oceanco is one of the specialists in the construction of superyachts (80 to 140 m long) made to measure in the world. In collaboration with the design firm Van Geest Design, the Dutch shipyard presents its new creation, Moonstone. This 295-foot (90 m) superyacht features a faceted hull, a first for a superyacht. "These elegant lines and its faceted shell suggest a hypnotic glamour, like the multiple surfaces of a finely cut gemstone." details Oceanco. The backlit hull is made up of 300 white triangles (on each side of the boat ) that sparkle at night and create unlimited lighting effects. The waterline and upper decks are also illuminated. Fisheye cameras capture the colors of a night sky, a sunrise or sunset, the lapping water and then rebroadcast them on the boat's decks. The boat becomes a real light mirror, reflecting the surrounding elements. During the day, the mirror effect of the hull also reflects the natural elements (sea, sky, sun). To activate the digitally programmed LEDs in the hull facets, all you need is a mobile application .  The light panels of the hull have been designed to be self-sufficient thanks to 70 m2 of solar panels located above the superstructure. One day of sunlight allows the device to operate for 3 hours. This "facet" pattern is found in several other areas of the yacht, in conjunction with lighting effects. The pool (on the main deck) is also equipped with light walls, as is the spa (located on the upper deck). These elements bring a new source of light into the boat . In particular, the pool has glass walls that project light waves onto the bathing platform that it overlooks.  "Light is essential to our lives. The way spaces are lit impacts our well-being as well as our state of mind. Light has the power to transcend the noise that surrounds our daily lives and bring us into calm and wonder." says Temeloy, a leading lighting design company that worked with the design firm. Moonstone was designed on the basis of the Oceanco 90 M, taking advantage of this proven layout. There is an entire deck dedicated to the owner, a fitness room, a spa (on the upper deck), as well as a helipad (on the front deck of the boat ). A cinema and 4 double and 2 twin cabins complete the interior layout. Moonstone can accommodate 12 guests.  The superyacht also has a large open-air deck saloon for a 360° view. A large pool with transparent walls is harmoniously integrated on the aft deck and overlooks the bathing platform, which serves as a terrace on the water. On each side of the yacht, platforms suspended over the water provide access to the water toys and rescue tenders. The second 60m Amels 200 superyacht, now named Moonstone, has been spotted passing through Gibraltar as its maiden voyage gets underway.
