The BQYC is located in the City of Belleville on the Bay of Quinte, a short walk from the city centre. Our home sailing grounds are in the protected waters of the Bay, one of the best boating areas in Canada.

The Club caters for the sailing interests of both sail and power boaters, and attracts those interested in cruising, racing in keelboats or dinghies, or simply socialising at the Long Reach Bar or at one of our many Social Events. Some of our members get involved in all of the above!

Note that BQYC is a SELF HELP club. There is no paid staff, except for the bar steward. All members are expected to contribute to such activities as the organizing of events, house and grounds maintenance, sailing school, etc.

Our visitor dock is available on a first-come first-served basis to reciprocal clubs.  Visitors may stay at the club dock for up to  3 consecutive nights  and up to  6 total nights  in a season.  We do not take reservations.  Upon arrival please dock if there is space and then check-in with bar staff during business hours only (after 4pm weekdays) at 613-966-5931.

Customer ratings and reviews.

It is a great club that has a long history in Belleville and its location in Victoria Park and Harbour. The staff are amazing 👏 and they always treat everyone great 👍. They are still accepting new members, so don't be afraid to give them a call or stop by.

Very friendly and helpful people! Creative social activities. Take a course and learn to sail!

Spring is here. The perch are coming. Pickerel and walleye will be there in two weeks. Lovely park for a picnic. Room for kids to ride on the paths. Sit and watch the boats in the bay. Lunch at the Yacht Club...Come out and Enjoy..

Amazing People Here! The club itself, the docks, and the scenery are all amazing, but what really stands out are the people! I only got to experience BQYC for a short time, but they made my experience amazing. As a complete novice to the sport, they took their time to help me get everything ready and ship-shape. I'd like to thank everyone at the club for all their help, and thank Commodore Steve a great deal for letting me keep my new (to me) Grampians 26 on land for the amount of time he did. Have a great season and many more to come!
