Can anyone advise if there is room enough to store a medium size suitcase (60x32x20cm) in a bunk cabin on board a Harmony 52 yacht.

Harmony 42 (2005-2009)

The Harmony 42 is a French production yacht that garnered attention for its innovative features and affordability. Designed by Olivier Poncin, the founder of Harmony Yachts , and built between 2005 and 2009, this sailing boat is a product of meticulous engineering and efficient production methods. The Harmony 42 is a versatile vessel, suitable for both cruising and racing, and offered a range of customisation options for potential buyers.

Performance and Handling:

When it comes to performance, the Harmony 42 doesn’t disappoint. The boat is equipped with a Volvo Penta engine, which can be upgraded from 40hp to 55hp as part of the optional Comfort Pack. This pack also includes a fully-battened mainsail, an extra battery, and a battery charger, among other features. The Harmony 42 had a unique design theme that combines a straight-stemmed hull with medium displacement. This makes it heavier than some of its competitors, which is advantageous for a cruiser. The boat offered three types of keels: a fin/bulb in iron, the same in lead, or a shallow-draught tandem keel. The rigging is also noteworthy; it features long spreaders and good mast support, making it simple, strong, and efficient. The hull construction incorporates a foam-core and Kevlar reinforcement, adding to its durability.

Those boats with heavy charter use are at the lower end of the scale; those with very little use and a high specification are able to achieve higher prices due to their better condition and history.

Harmony is a custom motor yacht launched in 2001 by Amels in Makkum, Netherlands and most recently refitted in 2017.

AMELS are masters in the art of modern Dutch high-value yacht building. The yard is the largest superyacht facility in the Netherlands and one of the top superyacht builders in the world. In 2005 AMELS launched the successful LIMITED EDITIONS and delivered the first yacht of the series in 2007. The shipyard also specialises in the build of full-custom superyachts, with the in-construction Project Signature due to become the largest superyacht ever built in the Netherlands upon her scheduled launch in 2025.

Harmony measures 52.00 metres in length, with a max draft of 3.10 metres and a beam of 9.00 metres. She has a gross tonnage of 609 tonnes. She has a deck material of teak.

Terence Disdale Design is an award-winning design studio responsible for the interior and exterior design of the some of the world’s most significant yachts. Based in the UK, the studio is renowned for producing refreshingly casual yet chic designs.

Harmony also features naval architecture by Amels.

Ho fatto esperienza sulle derive, prima al mare in Calabria poi al lago di Bracciano. Non potendomi fermare a queste prime esperienze, mi sono dedicato ai piccoli cabinati e ho preso la patente nautica vela e motore entro le 12 miglia. Dopo qualche anno, sono passato ai grandi cabinati e a questo punto ho voluto prendere la patente senza limiti. Inoltre, ho frequentato un corso di skipper capobarca per perfezionarmi. Infine ho preso il titolo di Yachtmaster Offshore, presso la Royal Yacht Academy. I posti che ho visitato come comandante vanno dalla Francia alla Sicilia: Mentone, San Remo, Vernazza, Porto Venere, Viareggio, Marina di Pisa, Rosignano, Porto Azzurro, San Vincenzo, Porto s.
