Founded in 1968

Sunseeker International is a British luxury motor  yacht  manufacturer. Its headquarters and main assembly facility is in  Poole Harbour , at Poole in  Dorset , England. The company has been making motor boats since 1969.  Chinese conglomerate Dalian Wanda Group has owned the company since 2013.

Back in 1969, in the English seaside town of Poole, Robert Braithwaite dreamt of building a new kind of boat.

Using revolutionary materials and technology, his early designs were tailored to a handful of customers, keen to embrace new found freedoms.

Solaris is the largest and most luxurious Sunseeker charter yacht permanently based in Poole Harbour, moments away from the prestigious Sandbanks. 

Our 2022 76 Yacht has been custom-built to our exact specifications, perfectly designed for entertaining up to 12 day guests in pure indulgent luxury.

The entertaining space is set across two capacious decks, with an additional lower accommodation deck for up to eight overnight guests across four beautifully-appointed cabins and four ensuite bathrooms.

We have made sure to specify the boat to the highest of standards in terms of comfort and safety.  Solaris is fitted with upgraded twin MTU 1550hp V12 engines and Sleipner fin stabilizers to enhance comfort.

Moving up a level we have our capacious flybridge area.  With plenty of seating to accommodate all 12 guests, this is the exterior area you are likely to spend most of your time.  The flybridge is fitted with a hard top roof, covering the main body of the deck.  Within the structure there is a retractable roof and a further aft sun canopy, with a flick of a switch the flybridge can either be in full sun or full shade.  A bar, complete with ice maker and fridge, further enhances this spectacular entertaining deck.

The legendary British manufacturer of luxury yachts Sunseeker International is one of the market leaders for building motor yachts and boats with superior seaworthiness coupled with impeccable stylish design of interior space. The company, founded by Robert Braithwaite, to become an icon of British shipbuilding, was established in 1968 in the town of Poole, and was originally called "Poole Powerboats". As cruise port, Poole featured the homeporting season (2019-2020) of CMV Astoria . From Poole, Astoria had scheduled roundtrips to Iceland, Scotland, Faroes, British Isles, Norway (Norwegian Fjords), Baltic Sea (Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania, Poland). During its UK season 2019-2020, the CMV boat was also homeported in Hull and Portsmouth .

The new dock project (GBP 10 million / USD 12,6 million) is a deepwater quay with capacity to handle larger vessels (with max LOA length 220 m / 722 ft) and  passenger capacity over 1000. South Quay Cruise Terminal was part of port's 7-year Poole Harbour expansion project - one of UK's largest port developments in recent years. The project received GBP 8,5 million funding from NatWest (National Westminster Bank) - 1968-established major UK banking group.
