WHY FIRST 27 SE ?

27' sailboat

First 27 SE is a real high-performance planing sailboat, easily achieving thrilling double-digit speeds and delivering an incomparable sailing experience, resulting from modern design and building technologies.

Her superb seaworthiness, which crowned the boat with the B category, results from exceptional boat design, cutting-edge building technology and many safety features: three separate unsinkable chambers, a swinging keel system in case of grounding and increased bow volume with crash box.

The One Design racing calendar is comprised of fully crewed windward-leeward races and adventurous long-distance double-handed or solo challenges. Whichever you choose, you can count on the friendly community that will give you a proper challenge.

Sitting low on the trailer due to her hydraulically operated swinging keel, light structure, beam just below the width limit and light carbon mast, she is wholly trailable to different locations, for racing or cruising purposes.

SAILING EXPERIENCE

Planing at double-digit speeds is easier than ever. The First 27 SE promises a thrilling and pure sailing experience. Her performance is rooted in her modern hull design and light but stiff vacuum-infused hull construction. She has a hull with very high initial stability, a deep lead-bulb keel, and an easily handled carbon rig with a large square-top mainsail without a backstay or runners. All this power is nothing if you can't manage it, so she's been designed with well-thought cockpit ergonomics and a balanced twin-rudder steering system. No matter if you're sailing solo, double-handed or fully crewed, First 27 SE will reward you with an astonishing sailing experience and pure joy under sail.

LIVING ONBOARD

The First 27 SE is the only B category, trailerable 8m boat on the market with a fully functional interior. While it may look minimalistic, her extremely weight-sensitive interior is outfitted with components that also function as part of the boat's structure. She can accommodate up to 6 adults, two in a separate bow cabin and 4 in the saloon. Thanks to innovative magnetic doors, the mid-section of the boat can be converted to a proper marine toilet, front cabin extension, or "wet-room" for sail-changes. The interior also offers crew bags for personal belongings, a fridge, foldable table and sail-locker. Combined with other practicalities, these make her the ultimate adventure cruiser for sailing connoisseurs. The entire interior is modular, so you can quickly empty it and reduce weight for racing needs.

27' sailboat

The International Owners Community and events calendar enable owners to challenge themselves on long-distance One Design challenges across the continent as a part of a great company of supportive, like-minded sailors.

The Evolution of the C&C 27 Cruiser-Racer

27' sailboat

C&C Yachts produced four versions-and nearly 1,000 hulls-of its popular C&C 27 boat. Called the C&C 27 Mark I, Mark II, Mark III, and Mark IV, these boats differed in various ways, but the hulls were similar. A fifth design, the C&C 27 Mark V, was a totally different design. Heres a look at the various editions of the C&C 27, and how they differed from one another.

Mark I: Production ran from 1970 to 1972; hull numbers 1 through 167. Shorter hull and shortest rigs, with single upper and single lower shrouds. Mainsail traveller mounted aft in cockpit. Standard equipped with tiller steering and Atomic 4 gas engine.

Mark II: Production ran from 1972 to 1974; hull numbers 168 through 451. Same hull and sail area as the Mark I. High-aspect rig was two feet taller than Mark I. Rigged with one upper and two lower shrouds. Same aft traveller, Atomic 4 engine, and tiller steering as Mark I.

Mark III: Production ran from 1974 to 1981; hull numbers 452 through 914. Hull similar to previous editions but six inches in length were added to cockpit/stern area. Traveller was moved forward to bridgedeck mount, and wheel steering became an option in 1975; diesel power became option in 1978 (Yanmar). Draft and sail area increased; ballast decreased; displacement remained same as previous marks. Rudder redesigned with higher aspect shape. Small interior changes made but basic layout the same as marks I and II.

Mark IV: Production ran from 1981 to 1982; hull numbers 915 through 979. Most changes in Mark IV were cosmetic; teak interior replaced with off-white melamine, trimmed with teak and dark-anodized aluminum. Forestay moved aft about seven inched to make way for a bow roller. Auxiliary power option upgraded to two-cylindar Yanmar.

Mark V: Production ran from 1984 to 1986; hull numbers 1 to 169 (Niagara-On-The-Lake plant) and 500 to 610 (Rhode Island plant). The Mark V is a completely different boat than the other 27s; it is not considered part of the evolution of those previous designs. Geared more toward racing sailors, the Mark V was designed to meet the Midget Ocean Racing Club (MORC) rule.

Rig and Sails

Auxilary power, accomodations, calculations.

The theoretical maximum speed that a displacement hull can move efficiently through the water is determined by it's waterline length and displacement. It may be unable to reach this speed if the boat is underpowered or heavily loaded, though it may exceed this speed given enough power. Read more.

Classic hull speed formula:

Hull Speed = 1.34 x √LWL

Max Speed/Length ratio = 8.26 ÷ Displacement/Length ratio .311 Hull Speed = Max Speed/Length ratio x √LWL

Sail Area / Displacement Ratio

A measure of the power of the sails relative to the weight of the boat. The higher the number, the higher the performance, but the harder the boat will be to handle. This ratio is a "non-dimensional" value that facilitates comparisons between boats of different types and sizes. Read more.

SA/D = SA ÷ (D ÷ 64) 2/3

  • SA : Sail area in square feet, derived by adding the mainsail area to 100% of the foretriangle area (the lateral area above the deck between the mast and the forestay).
  • D : Displacement in pounds.

Ballast / Displacement Ratio

A measure of the stability of a boat's hull that suggests how well a monohull will stand up to its sails. The ballast displacement ratio indicates how much of the weight of a boat is placed for maximum stability against capsizing and is an indicator of stiffness and resistance to capsize.

Ballast / Displacement * 100

Displacement / Length Ratio

A measure of the weight of the boat relative to it's length at the waterline. The higher a boat’s D/L ratio, the more easily it will carry a load and the more comfortable its motion will be. The lower a boat's ratio is, the less power it takes to drive the boat to its nominal hull speed or beyond. Read more.

D/L = (D ÷ 2240) ÷ (0.01 x LWL)³

  • D: Displacement of the boat in pounds.
  • LWL: Waterline length in feet

Comfort Ratio

This ratio assess how quickly and abruptly a boat’s hull reacts to waves in a significant seaway, these being the elements of a boat’s motion most likely to cause seasickness. Read more.

Comfort ratio = D ÷ (.65 x (.7 LWL + .3 LOA) x Beam 1.33 )

  • D: Displacement of the boat in pounds
  • LOA: Length overall in feet
  • Beam: Width of boat at the widest point in feet

Capsize Screening Formula

This formula attempts to indicate whether a given boat might be too wide and light to readily right itself after being overturned in extreme conditions. Read more.

CSV = Beam ÷ ³√(D / 64)

From BlueWaterBoats.org :

The Nor’Sea 27 is a small but rugged pocket-cruiser with live-aboard comfort and seaworthiness at the heart of her design. Designer Lyle Hess best known for designing Lynn and Larry Pardey’s bluewater cruising yachts Seraffyn and Taleisin was approached with the challenging brief to design a heavy weather, long distance cruiser which could be legally trailerable. Unfazed, Hess came up with this tough and traditionally styled 27-foot double-ender which is transportable between oceans if not strictly trailerable.

According to Lyle Hess “any boat that points her bow out to sea should be designed so that the crew need not worry about a safe return–no matter what tricks the weather may play”. And with four circumnavigations and more than 160 Pacific and Atlantic crossings under her hull, the Nor’Sea 27 is testament to this philosophy.

Since its introduction in 1977, the little cruiser has gained a cult following. In total around 450 have been built and production continues to the present day.

One day in the 1960’s a young man named Larry Pardey bought a set of yacht plans from designer Lyle Hess. The boat design was a Renegade of Newport. Using the plans he built his own boat Seraffyn and set off cruising with his new wife Lin. Lin and Larry went on to become well known amongst the cruising fraternity through the books they wrote and in doing so introduced the wider world to Hess and of course the Renegade design.

Through the popularity of the Renegade, Hess was approached by Dean Wixom, president of Heritage Marine. At the time Wixom was making the rounds between designers looking for a cruiser that could withstand the heaviest of offshore weather while still be legally trailerable. The idea being that big-boat seaworthiness combined with ease of overland transport would open up some pretty interesting cruising grounds to sailors who had limited time on their hands. Hess was the only designer game enough to take up the challenge and the Nor’Sea 27 was the outcome.

The Nor’Sea 27 was introduced in 1977 by Heritage Marine in a makeshift plant in Southern California. It was a design Wixom loved and three years later built his own boat Chinook (hull #77) on which he lived aboard for 10 years while logging more than 30,000 miles. His company, Heritage Marine, was sold to Bob Eeg who renamed the company Nor’Sea Yachts and has continued production to this day. Over 450 boats have been built so far.

Configuration and Layout

The Nor’Sea 27 is a heavily-rigged sloop with moderate displacement, a shoal draft of 3” 10’ and the 8ft beam which allows trailering without a permit. On the early boats ballast packages of standard (2500 lbs) and heavy (3000 lbs) were offered but since 1980 all boats have 3100 lbs of encapsulated lead ballast.

Hess drew inspiration from the Norwegian Spitzgatter for the traditional double-ended profile that Dean Wixom was seeking, with a wide curvy canoe stern accentuated by the upward sweep of the lapstrakes and a sweet, springy sheerline.  Below the waterline any resemblance to the Spitzgatter ends with a full keel with forefoot cutaway that is fast and modern. Her lines are clean and pleasing, Wixom goes as far as claiming the hull is the most beautiful he has seen on a small cruiser.

The interesting thing about the Nor’Sea 27 and one that distinguishes her from other trailerable pocket cruisers is the standard center-cockpit layout which is generally exclusive to much larger sailboats. Although the traditional aft cockpit layout is offered, the center-cockpit has proven the more popular by a surprising 9 to 1. The small aft cabin offered in the center-cockpit layout effectively houses two quarter berths and is prized for the privacy which it offers. The cabin also offers extra protection to the cockpit which is sized modestly for bluewater but is big enough for two people to sit in comfortably. The helm consists of a long tiller that reaches over the top of the aft cabin to a large transom-hung rudder.

Construction

Nor’Sea Yachts maintain a “super heavy duty” philosophy in construction and the Nor’Sea 27 is a prime example.  The hull is of solid hand-laid one piece laminate with up to 22 layers of mat and woven roving, and molded in lapstrakes which although costly and time consuming to build provide extra stiffness and strength as well as traditional looks and a drier boat. The thickness of the laminate varies from 5/16″ at the sheer to 3/4″ at the keel. Interior plywood bulkheads and a partial molded fibreglass liner provide further structural reinforcement resulting in an extremely strong hull.

The plywood-cored deck is fixed to an inward flange with adhesive sealant and stainless steel bolts spaced at 6-inch intervals. Deck fittings and hardware are oversized and through-bolted to stainless steel backing plates. This build quality gives the Nor’Sea 27 the strength of a larger boat but doesn’t come cheap.

“ I am very proud of the quality we put into those boats. I did make a fatal mistake: I built a product that I had fallen in love with. We built the boats without enough regard to cost. We already had the world’s most expensive 27-footer, yet I could not bring myself to cut corners in areas seldom seen ” – Dean Wixom.

The boats were sold as fully completed boats, nearly complete except for minor finishings,  or as hull and deck kits. The interior joinerwork on the factory finished boats are good, however boats built from hull and deck kits are much more variable in quality.

In terms of performance the Nor’Sea27 is stiff, sea kindly and surprisingly fast thanks to Hess’ innovative underwater profile. Nor’Sea owners have been heard to boast of overtaking longer, lighter boats while cruising. She tracks well to weather, is slippery in light airs and is a easy to single-hand. Her helm though relatively light is not particularly well balanced and cannot be left untended for long.

Buyer’s Notes

Although ‘trailerable’ the Nor’Sea 27 is more accurately ‘transportable’ as it requires a specialised trailer and a large size tow truck to transport it. Although the deck-stepped mast has a hinged tabernacle to allow raising and lowering, rigging the boat can take an experienced owner at least 3 hours.

The biggest problem has been corrosion in the aluminium fuel tank which is buried in the keel directly under the engine.  It needs to be fully glassed over to protect it, or excavated and replaced if already corroded. Similar corrosion problems have occurred with the sleeve cylinder in the early model 9hp Farymann diesel engines which also must be rebuilt or replaced but the engine is apparently easy to remove. The later Farymann model 32W has a cast iron cylinder and is not so susceptible. No other significant weakness have come to light.

The Nor’Sea 27 has held their values well and have remained highly sought after so tend not to linger long on the used boat market.  In 2007 the market value on used boats ranged from $28k – $62k USD depending on age and condition. New boats are available from Nor’Sea Yachts at three levels of kit set or as fully completed boats and prices range from $39,400 USD for the most basic kit to $151,612 USD for the completed boat.

Information and advice on buying a Nor’Sea 27 can be obtained from the Nor’Sea Yachts website or from the active owner’s association on Yahoo groups.

Family bewildered after man found dead on burning boat dry-docked in Brooklyn

T he family of a man found dead last month on a burning boat in Brooklyn are bewildered — and say it’s the second time they’ve lost a sibling in just over a year while a third has been missing since November.

Anthony Doolan, 31, was discovered on the boat dry-docked in a Red Hook private lot on April 27 after the 4:54 a.m. blaze. Witnesses first called 911 reporting a dumpster fire, FDNY officials said. But when firefighters arrived to the fenced-in area on Conover St. near Beard St., they realized the fire was coming from a boat on a trailer.

Hours before Doolan was found he had been with his sister in Astoria, she said.

“He was at my house that morning,” said Jessica Simpson, 34. “He left my house at 1 a.m. He said he was going to go stay with his friend. He left and then I see on the news 3 or 4 hours after he left my house that this happened.”

For five days, Doolan’s family wondered where he was but with their brother homeless they had no way to contact him.

“He had no phone, nothing,” Simpson said. “I was reaching out [to others]. … Maybe he called one of his friends from upstate.”

It wasn’t until May 2 that Doolan’s family received word that he had died — and it was only after his death that family learned he had been sleeping on the boat.

“Him being burnt up and on a boat, it just doesn’t make sense,” the sister said.

On Friday, NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said the death is not considered suspicious at this time as cops wait for a final determination from the city medical examiner. An initial autopsy was inconclusive pending further study.

“Inside the boat we find lighters, cigarettes, vapes, syringes and a cooking stove that has butane fuel to light the stove,” Kenny said of the police investigation into the death. “We also find a benefit card and a pill bottle in a [different] male’s name. Through fingerprint analysis we’re able to identify the victim.”

“The body was found in a fetal position,” he added. “It seemed like he was sleeping in the boat and maybe using the stove as a source of heat.”

Several boats are stored in the lot, which also contains a homeless encampment next to the boat that burned, police said.

Doolan had several narcotics arrests on his record in Middletown, Orange County, Kenny said.

“I found out he was living on the boat because of the detective,” said brother Joseph Simpson, 41, of Middletown. “I’m still baffled by everything that’s happened.”

Doolan’s brother said Doolan had taken the death of his mother at age 14 particularly hard but the nine siblings stayed close, looking after each other, especially the youngest, Anthony.

“He was a good kid. He was young when we lost our mother, and from there he was lost without Mom. He moved up to Albany with me, he moved around with our sisters — he tried to find a way. He thought the city was going to be something new and amazing for him, and then this happened.”

“He was a harmless person, he would never hurt anybody,” he added. “He grew up a country boy, so setting himself on fire makes no sense to any of us.”

Doolan’s siblings, desperate for answers, say they haven’t heard from the NYPD and that it was police in Liberty, Sullivan County, who notified the family of Doolan’s death.

The death is just the latest hardship for the family.

“I’ve lost two brothers in the last year and another brother is presumed missing. It’s been a devastating year for our family,” posted Joseph Simpson in an online fundraiser. “I’m a proud man and I take pride in taking care of family. But I just can’t afford to pay for services and lay them to rest.”

Carl Simpson, 44, died in his sleep on April 2, 2023. Family said Carl’s autopsy results have yet to be released and his body is still with the medical examiner. Jason Simpson, 43, hasn’t been heard from since November.

Joseph Simpson said Jason and Anthony both went to New York City and kept an eye on each other while trying to make their way and make ends meet.

“They would stick together, they would do things together. They would do their little hustles with cans, they would go to soup kitchens,” said Joseph Simpson.

Doolan’s family is left only with fond memories of their little brother pretending to be a superhero while riding his bike, willing to do anything for a laugh.

“He had the best sense of humor,” said eldest sister Melissa Doolan, 48. “He’d ride around town with a ShopRite bag on his shoulders like it was a cape.”

“He would do impressions of people, he was such a comedian,” said Joseph Simpson. “He would jump up on the table and do a Johnny Cash impression.”

Family is hoping anyone with information comes forward.

“They say a man was found dead but to us it’s not a man who was found dead, it’s our baby brother,” said Joseph Simpson. “We have to get to the bottom of this one way or another.”

A boat has been seized in connection with a weekend hit-and-run accident that killed Ella Adler in Biscayne Bay, officials confirmed to Forbes on Tuesday, the latest in an ongoing investigation into the death of the Florida teenager who has been remembered as a " bright young soul ” after she died Saturday.

Boats ply the waters of Biscayne Bay with the Miami skyline see in the distance.

Adler, who was wearing a life jacket, was water skiing with friends when she fell into the water close to a sandbar near Nixon Beach, about 7 miles from downtown Miami, and was then hit by a boat that didn't stop.

Officials immediately asked the public for help in finding the boat and offered $20,000 for information leading to the arrest of the hit-and-run suspect, though it was unclear at the time whether the boater knew they had hit the teenager.

Witnesses described the boat to Florida Fish and Wildlife officials, who identified its owner and seized it Tuesday, the agency said in a statement—the owner is cooperating with authorities and no arrest has been made.

The investigation is ongoing and representatives with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission are still asking witnesses or anyone with video footage of the incident to come forward.

"The world lost a star this weekend,” the Adler family said in a statement through their attorney Tuesday. “Ella was beautiful and shined brightly. In her 15 years she gave us more light than we could have ever dreamed. While we cope with this unspeakable tragedy, we ask the public to give us our privacy as we mourn."

Key Background

Adler was a young ballerina with the Miami City Ballet, a student in the class of 2027 at the Ransom Everglades School in Miami and the granddaughter of the U.S. Ambassador to Belgium, Michael M. Adler. She appeared in more than 100 performances with the Miami City Ballet and her obituary remembered her as a performer who "belonged and thrived" on stage. The Miami City Ballet called Adler "a magnificent dancer" with "potential and promise whose kindness, warmth and infectious joy were known to all." She was a member of her school's dance team, performed in the school play and was "proud" to be a member of the Ransom Everglades Jewish Students Association. Her obituary described her as a great-granddaughter of Holocaust survivors.

"Our hearts are broken and our community has been devastated by this tragedy," Rodriguez said in a statement. "Ella shined in our classrooms and on our stages, and she embodied the mission of Ransom Everglades School. She was an outstanding student, a wonderful dancer and an active member of the Jewish Student Association and speech and debate team. We extend our deepest sympathy to her family and our prayers are with all who are mourning her loss. In this time of unspeakable pain, we have been moved by the outpouring of kindness and compassion from the Ransom Everglades community. A funeral service held Monday at Temple Beth Shalom for Adler, who was on the dance team at Ransom Everglades.

“Special little girl. She was a great dancer. She was my daughter’s best friend. It’s a tremendous loss. She had such a bright future. Very sad, very sad," family friend Loren Pierson said.

It was standing room only as family and friends gathered to remember the life of Adler. Among them was Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, who knows the family.

"This is a young woman who had so much compassion for the world and was such a role model for so many at the age of 15. Our whole community is grieving," Levine Cava said.

Grief counselors were also on hand at Ransom Everglades on Monday.

"It’s really sad to hear. I heard she was a really nice girl and was on the dance team and had a lot of friends. I can’t imagine the pain they’re going through," student Miles Gelber said.

The boating incident happened near Nixon Beach in Miami-Dade County around 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Adler had been waterskiing before she was struck by a vessel that left the scene, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officials said.

On the condition of anonymity, NBC6 spoke to a witness who offered a firsthand account of the tragic incident.

The witness also provided NBC6 a photo of the immediate aftermath , which captured what appeared to be gray yacht next to a police boat. The witness said Adler had been waterskiing from the gray yacht.

According to the witness, the girl was in the water when she was struck by a large center console fishing boat. They said boat that hit her did not appear to swerve or slow down. Following the collision, the witness said they heard distress signals and screams over the radio coming from the yacht.

Officials also said the vessel that fatally hit her was described as a light blue center console, possibly with blue or dark blue bottom paint and three or four white outboard engines. It was last seen heading westbound from Nixon Beach in Key Biscayne.

FWC officials also confirmed to NBC6 on Sunday that the girl was not actively waterskiing when she was hit.

"She was just in the water with the board attached to her feet and wearing a life jacket," an FWC spokesperson said.

The witness described the yacht as urgently blaring its horn while circling back to the girl.

An obituary posted on Legacy.com said Adler had appeared as a ballerina in the Nutcracker, appearing in over 100 performances with the Miami City Ballet at the Adrienne Arsht Center.

"She loved her friends deeply. She had a big posse of friends, both from Blue Star Camps and school, but Ella had a way of making each of her friends feel special," the obituary read. "She was loyal. She was compassionate. She always believed in speaking up for what was right and she always spoke her mind, but with warmth and grace."

The Miami City Ballet also released a statement on the teen's death.

"We at Miami City Ballet and the Miami City Ballet School are utterly devastated by the heartbreaking news of this tragic accident. Ella Adler was not just a beloved student and a magnificent dancer who graced our stage in  George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker ; she was an integral part of our family, radiating potential and promise whose kindness, warmth, and infectious joy were known to all," the statement read. "Our hearts go out to Ella’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and adoring her. As we come together, we will profoundly grieve the loss of Ella, and hold dear the precious memories we were fortunate enough to create with her."

In a statement Monday, FWC officials said they were making "significant progress" in their investigation.

The FWC is continuing its search for the boat and said a reward of up to $20,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest or aiding the investigation.

Anyone with information on this incident is urged to call the FWC’s hotline at 888-404-3922.

Ella Riley Adler (middle) was killed by a boat in Biscayne Bay on Saturday

A teenage ballerina was struck and killed by a boat while waterskiing in Miami .

Ella Riley Adler, 15, was being towed in Biscayne Bay when she fell into the water and was hit by another boat on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.

The boat continued on off Nixon Beach Sandbar near Key Biscayne in Florida and Ella died of her injuries.

Ella, a Ransom Everglades School student, ‘shone on stage as a ballerina in the Nutcracker’ and appeared in more than 100 performances with the Miami City Ballet, according to her obituary .

Ella Riley Adler's (middle) parents said she 'truly got the best parts of both of us'

‘She dazzled us with her light. She emanated love and joy. She was beautiful. When she walked into a room, everyone was drawn to her,’ it states. ‘She loved to dance, she loved her friends, and most of all she loved her family.’

At Ella’s funeral on Monday, her father, Matthew Adler, said that he and her mother ‘have said for years that you truly got the best parts of both of us’.

‘You were taken from us way too soon, and the world has been robbed of all the things you could have achieved,’ he said, according to the Miami Herald . ‘But you will always be here with us and your friends and family will carry your energy and spirit forever.’

On Tuesday, a boat of interest was identified by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The owner of the boat has been taken into custody and is cooperating with the investigation.

Ella Adler's funeral was held on Monday

‘I am pleased to report that we have a vessel in custody that matches the description given by witnesses, and the investigation is ongoing,’ the commission’s chairman, Rodney Barreto, told NBC Miami .

‘As a father and grandfather, my heart is broken for the Adler family. Ella’s death is devastating for her family, friends, and the community at large. The FWC and our partner law enforcement agencies will not stop until we have all the answers and the case is solved.’

Ella is survived by her father, mother, brother and sister, as well as grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Interesting new silhouette

Air max DN - May 18, 2024

Very comfortable shoe with a different look compared to your typical air max. I mainly wore them for walks around town and thought the fit was true to size. The fabric was a little thicker than I expected but it was a nice surprise. Aesthetically I did really like the heel cushion and subtle Nike swoosh on the side of each shoe. The only downside was the blue color was a little more vivid than I expected. However, overall I really liked the feel and design of the shoe. ...

Fresh, Clean!

Clean whites - May 17, 2024

So here we are, got them DN’s and they are looking so fresh….. So let’s get to the feel of the shoe, they are very comfortable, no matter what time of day you have them on, the design will go with everything you can throw at them, Jeans, Cargo, Sweat Pants, Shorts and even some casual slacks ( if you got game like me 😅) Hence me saying any time of day! You could feel the air in the heels bubble , they feel like little pillows, have support all throughout the shoe. Once again very comfortable. If you wanna take a quick run and walk the pooch, they won’t disappoint. If you take them to the office because it’s casual Friday and want to pair them with that nice pair of jeans, they won’t disappoint. If you wanna really get comfortable( you joke what I mean, cargos or sweat pants even some shorts) for a quick diner with the gang or your other half, believe me they won’t disappoint. I got them in white, I know I know what you’re thinking. “My dude but there “WHITE”! Nah nah they are fresh as fresh can be, yes if you don’t take care of them they won’t take care of you(nough said!). The material is very user friendly so you could clean them up in a blink of an eye, no problem keeping them clean and shiny. 👌 Ok ok so why only 4 stars instead of 5? I would say because after a week or so of non stop rocking them all over the city, they began with this little squeak, not all the time but I do notice it. Maybe I got one of those pairs that got “away” and it’s a rare misfortune for me. 🤔 With that being said, I still stand behind this very comfortable pair of sneakers. A few colors to choose from so don’t hesitate and go and grab a pair for yourself. ...
