Lil yatchty performed well. I loved how much water he threw in the crowed and the energy. The only problem was the crowed too squished together in the front so it was uncomfortable. If the people in the back took a couple steps back tho the problem would have been solved. But the show was worth the money and very enjoyable.

The sremm life tour was my first concert. And it was extremely good!!! I had so much fun. Lil yachty and burberry were spraying water on everyone and he told us to make a mosh pit, he has alot of energy to really hype the crowd up. If your thinking about seeing lil yachty I recommend you go!
Lil Yachty was a massive let down. After waiting for him to come out it was hard to listen to his voice that he claims he lost. He sounded nothing less than horrible and the crowd had more energy from the DJ than they did for the person they came to see. 2/10
Lil yachty and everyone on the stage had a good connection with the audience and their perforemance were dope as hell. I enjoyed the show alot, it was really fun. Looking forward to yachtys next concert here in Stockholm, Sweden.
One of the best shows I have seen. He was so full of life, fun to watch, funny and made it a memorable night. The lights, dancing and song choice was spot on. I hope he comes to Baltimore again so I can go back. LIL BOAT!
This is my second time seeing him and yet again Amazing stage presence, full of energy, really got the crowd going and we was given a massive surprise with an appearance and short performance from Asap Rocky and Tyga!
The concert was wild especially in NYC perfect Venue. A lot of mosh pits coming from a lil yachty concert. During his performance he brings out A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg, very unexpected.
Him and Burberry Perry have mad stage presence and know how to get the crowd hyped. The only downside of the show is that he flicks water hard into your eyes though so bring goggles.
Yachty was so good live. The energy was amazing, and you can tell he loves the fans. He took a while to come out but if you love concerts and go with your friends, it's worth it.
It was bananas im glad i went i met so many cool ppl YACHTY was phenomenal the venve was huge good air i had funn i hope he comes back next year i will definitely be going

10 Things Lil Yachty Can't Live Without
Released on 05/26/2021
I got two wallets in here
and I got singles, like a bunch of ones.
[Interviewer] What's the reason that
you got a bunch of ones in there, Yachty?
I don't know.
I think it's just change.
From like or broken hundred or something,
I wasn't at the strip club.
That's what you wanted me to say.
[upbeat music]
What's up GQ, I'm Lil Yachty and these
are my essentials.
Pot of gold. No, I'm just kidding.
This is my grill.
Basically. I have my grill in pieces
because I like it to give that permanent look, you know
like, I like it to look like it's permanent.
It comes in six pieces,
cause I love a bright smile.
The logic I've come up
with my in head is, I want to make a really lot
of money, young or you know, mid age to like 35, you know?
So by the time I'm like 48, 50.
I can do all this [beep]
that I couldn't do when I was younger
because I wanted to make smarter decisions.
Like, I haven't gotten any face tats or like permanent teeth
because, like, I want to act.
and on jewelry being a face for, you know
a big company, and it's important to keep a proper image.
So I'll say when I look at like 50,
I'll be like super rich, I'm gonna get face tats,
and I'm gonna get permanent teeth when I'm like 55, like 60.
I'm gonna get like a boat right here under my eye.
People think when you get old you can't live
but in my brain, I'm like, I'm working super hard young
so when I get old, oh my God.
I'm gonna live an extravagant life.
I'm a tour the world on yachts,
with young bad bitches,
with diamond teeth, and face tats at 63.
I'm gonna go by Grandpa Boat.
Grandpa Boat with all the bitches.
Alright. Sunglasses.
These ones in particular
because these [beep] are [beep] ill.
These are Louis Vuitton but they are from
from the NEGO Virgil collection, these are extremely rare.
And they look like, just, they remind me of
LOCS, like some LA gangster,
nineties, EZE, NWA LOCS.
They got a real sleek, cool vibe.
And they just look fire.
I passed something out over the years.
I've lost a bunch, but sunglasses are a real thing.
I really like to collect sunglasses.
I have a bunch
of really cool vintage Chanel glasses, few product glasses.
But also, I have this collection of future mood glasses.
They're super sick and it comes in these crazy colors.
I wish I had them in downstairs
and I'm also doing my own line with them.
I'm super excited to just really create
and go outlandish with it, so.
That's the one I'm going to take to the top.
Look it up. If you haven't heard
of FutureMood studios, their glasses are literally insane.
All right, Vitamin E,
makes sure I take every single day.
Literally everywhere I go, no matter where I am
you got to have Vitamin E.
The thing with me is I don't eat anything,
like, I don't eat any fruits.
I don't eat any vegetables.
I don't drink orange juice.
My doctor just telling me that I need Vitamin E.
Water. Not just any water, Just Water.
Of course I've known of Just Water for a few years now,
but it wasn't up until maybe like a few months ago.
I don't know if it was extra hot outside
or I just had a cold, Just Water that just hit different.
To the point where it was like, wow
Just Water is literally the best water I've ever tasted.
And it's not, this isn't an ad like Jaden, isn't paying me.
This is genuinely just the best water I've ever tasted.
So now it's like, like if you saw my fridge
it's nothing but Just Water.
And I've just been trying to drink a lot more water,
like, my skin gets very dry.
I think water tastes better
in a carton and then in plastic.
I don't know if that's true, but I do.
I feel like it does, Just Water is genuinely,
can't live without Just Water,
literally you have to drink it every day.
I was definitely drinking a lot of soda before,
too much soda.
But I started realizing, like I started
getting cotton mouth and I started having acid reflexes
like in middle of the night,
like I'd be asleep and I'd wake up with like,
built up acid in my throat in the middle of the night,
and it started scaring me, you know?
So, I started cutting back on drinking sodas.
So, I think I took all the sodas outta my refrigerator.
Just trying to better myself.
If I don't, then I won't be able to live out the dream
of Grandpa Boat [beep] bitches at 64 in Spain.
Girl Scout Cookies. Thin Mints.
Underestimated, underrated, terribly duplicated.
My dad introduced me to Girl Scout Cookies when
I was maybe four years old.
And it's the only cookie he ate.
Therefore, its the only cookie I ever ate
and I grew up eating it.
So, I've never actually tried another Girl Scout Cookie
to this day.
I don't even know the other flavors.
I don't even know, Thin Mint is the one, the winner,
the green box. Don't give me the baby blue,
don't give me the purple,
don't give me the yellow.
Gimme the green, the cookies
are top tier, [beep].
I don't even like mint, mint chocolate.
I'm looking at the Thin Mints are
I actually have my own personal Girl Scout
shout out to Jada,
Jada always gave me right, every time it's
that season, Jada hit me up,
and it's time to get them Girls Scouts.
Super shout out to Jada
gave me right with the Thin Mints.
Try to get about 20, 30 boxes.
Got to have Thin Mints.
That's also in my fridge, Just Water and Thin Mints.
Going crazy.
My headphones,
these particular ones are my Phase edition Beats.
Shouts out to all my boys at Phase,
you know I am a Phase clan member.
These get me through any trip, any flight.
I love music.
Music is my life again another thing
my dad introduced me to.
I incorporate it in every piece of my being.
I genuinely in the house have a [beep] ton
of headphones, I mean speakers.
Like, I got speakers, speakers everywhere in my house.
So I'm more speaker guy in my house
but on the road, anywhere else, headphones, any flight,
any hotel, got to have a pair of headphones.
I love the red tiger stripe camo.
So, headphones are a necessity.
I love Red Baron,
but not Red Baron specifically,
just pizza in [beep] general. All right?
Another thing my dad introduced me to
because my dad is literally [beep] awesome,
definitely dedicated his episode to my dad.
Pizza man. It's my favorite food.
I eat it every single day.
I have been eating every single day
for at least the last 18 years and I'm 23.
You know? So at least since I was five.
I eat at all, frozen pizza, New York pizza, brick oven,
thin crust, not a stuffed crust fan.
I don't like Chicago style either.
I like deep dish, but I don't like original Chicago style,
which is sauce on top, cheese in the bottom.
That's [beep] weird, that's like lasagna.
I don't know. I don't get it.
I'm actually
about to release a frozen pizza in grocery stores.
And that's the first time I actually ever said
that, that was new information that you guys know now.
But I am working on my own frozen pizza line.
Can't wait to release it because it's my favorite food
of all time.
Pepperoni is my favorite,
but of course we have to cater to everyone.
So you know, of course, you know, we got to
do four cheeses, pepperoni, sausage, Supreme, Meat lovers.
And I do vegan pizzas for all of the vegan people out there.
Well, what we're not going to do is talk [beep]
about the competitors because we love them all,
love Red Baron, love the Digiornos, we love Tony's.
I love all of them.
I love the Kroger brand.
Shout out to all the frozen pizza companies
out there, killing it, doing your thing.
Shouts out to California Pizza
Kitchen and their frozen pizza line.
I can talk about pizza for hours, bro, pizzas
is my [beep].
I actually suck with the keys.
I lose them all the time.
I'm a terrible key person
but keys are a part of my everyday life.
I actually don't have a key to any of my houses
and I have three.
My mom keeps a spare of all my keys.
It put some [indistinct], I always lose them.
My Lamborghini key, went missing for like three months.
It was in my washing machine, like in the washing machine,
in the little, like circle part.
I don't know how it got there. It was hiding in my car.
It literally sat in my driveway
for three months, my Lamborghini.
And it was un-drivable.
[Interviewer] Of your cars, which is your favorite?
My Maybach, which is in the shop right now.
Precious hard drives.
All the data in the world.
All my music.
And everything, having to deal with everything,
having to do anything that I've recorded.
It's right there.
That's extremely important.
I try to record music every day.
So, that bad boy right there
is everything.
My engineer has a backup.
Then my head engineer has a backup.
I don't have a backup.
I'm [beep] if that's gone.
I spend more time with my engineer than anybody.
I spend more time with my engineer than with my girlfriend.
I'm working on three projects right now.
Like a New York [indistinct] project where I'm
like flipping samples on drill beats.
I just released a song called Cortex
on my YouTube.
I'm also working with a production group
from Philly called Working on Dying.
It's that summer, young, turnt energy
and my fans are gonna go crazy for it.
That's really what they want
and like, this up there so,
those two are super important.
I also got a project with Lil Techa
it's damn near done.
And I'm going to start my album,
third, fourth quarter.
I'm planning on doing all these side projects
because when I do the album, start my album
I want it to be a completely different vibe.
My Issey Miyake shoulder bag.
I'm a huge fan of Issey Miyake.
It's got my wallet, got deodorant,
I got a diamond chain in here.
More sunglasses, more and more sunglasses,
like 50% pairs of sunglasses here.
Got to have all my necessities.
Gotta have your mask.
Make sure you always keep a mask.
Some hand sanitizer.
I got my earrings in here, moisturizer for my face.
My passport.
I'm cheating right now.
This is where I added all my extra [beep].
But this is a part of my brand necessities.
Right? You gotta have this.
I got two wallets in here and I got singles,
like a bunch of ones.
[Interviewer] What's the reason
that you got a bunch of ones in there Yachty?
I think it's just change?
From like or broken hundred or something.
No, I think it's a change
from a hundred
dollar bill
and this bag is really sick.
It's really big, but it's a shoulder bag.
I just think it's really dope, and it doesn't look flashy,
like it doesn't have any labels or names
just a black bag with a leather handle.
It doesn't look like anything's in and it's just whatever.
And those were my essentials.
Thank you guys for watching man.
[happy piano music]

Lil Yachty Brings the Hits, and His Psychedelic Rock Adventure, to Central Park: Concert Review

Lil Yachty ‘s latest album, “Let’s Start Here,” did just that: It gave the rapper’s career a new starting point by setting aside his hip-hop origins and rebooting into psychedelic rock. Yachty 2.0 stopped by Central Park’s SummerStage and showed off his new sound, while also giving original fans a healthy dose of his classic bangers.
Popular on Variety
The new chapter of Yachty had begun with this surreal, spacey production, and fans flooded into New York’s Central Park on Friday night to see it for themselves. Yachty’s band and singers appeared on stage first, all dressed in white, while trippy, dream-like visuals projected onto a huge screen behind them. The funky tunes of “drive ME crazy!” opened the show, with Yachty gliding in singing the soft vocals of “the ride” and “pRETTy.”
The typical 808s and bass of a normal rap concert wouldn’t be heard for a few more songs, as the band played an electric guitar-assisted rendition of Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight” before Yachty transitioned into the hip-hop portion of the night. It was as if the concert was divided into Act I and II, and finally the old Yachty came out to play some of his bangers. After the indie rock start, fans opened up the crowd to mosh along with “Yacht Club,” “Flex Up” and “Coffin.” Strobe lights and lasers illuminated the stage as Yachty jumped around screaming his lyrics as his braids and beads danced wildly in the air.
After the release of “Let’s Start Here,” Yachty got a shoutout from Questlove for “pushing the envelope” and being an example of “music’s future,” beyond just the rap genre. Whatever may come next, (he’s supposedly developing an action movie based on Uno — yes, the card game ) fans will want to keep an eye on where Yachty sails to next.

Lil Yachty was the musical guest on the April 1 episode of Saturday Night Live and performed “The Black Seminole.” and “Drive Me Crazy!” from his celebrated new album Let’s Start Here . Singer-songwriter Diana Gordon and a full band performed alongside Yachty on the SNL stage.
When the album was released, Yachty joined Zane Lowe in-studio on Apple Music 1 to discuss his ambitious new project. He told Apple Music about entering the second chapter of his career with the creative departure, shining a light on other eras of music and studying Pink Floyd, aiming to create a cohesive “no skips” project, and more.
He also chatted with Lowe about evolving as an artist and embracing new sources of inspiration. Additionally, he explained the origins of “Poland,” his close relationship with Drake , getting a cosign from Questlove , his father’s reaction to hearing the album, working with Mac DeMarco, and more.
How ‘The Eminem Show’ Cemented Eminem’s Rap Legacy
‘the art of storytelling’: the return of slick rick, hip-hop’s master narrator.
Regarding the album title and origin of the project, he said, “I changed the name like eight times. And I settled with Let’s Start Here because I just felt like it was the beginning of the second chapter in my career. And I don’t know what’s next. But I just felt like… and I’ve had such a long career. It’s been about almost seven years in March, I think. And I’ve dealt with so much and I’ve been through so much in just trying to figure out my artistry and just myself as a person. I was a kid. I graduated high school and then six months later this life started. So I was just a kid just going through life. So I was just looking at it like my second chapter in my career. So I settled with Let’s Start Here .
He also discussed the way others view his prowess on the mic. “It’s not that I didn’t take it serious, but it was just like I wasn’t trying to be the best rapper or the most creative artist. I wasn’t even trying to make music. I didn’t even care if… I wasn’t thinking about music lasting 10 years. I didn’t care. I was just making music, but I still cared. And then as I got a little bit older, then I started to care about how people perceived me as a rapper.”

Lil Yachty Says He Told Drake 'I Don’t Feel Like You Won or Lost' in Kendrick Lamar Beef
The 6 God's friend and frequent collaborator spoke at length about the historic beef, notably pointing out that Drake was “deemed a loser” before the battle started.
Lil Yachty has offered a decidedly measured take on Drake and Kendrick Lamar 's undeniably historic back-and-forth .
In a recently surfaced podcast clip seemingly taken from a not-yet-released episode of A Safe Place , Yachty, whose extensive collaborative history with the 6 God is well-documented, pointed out that Kendrick "clearly had a lot more animosity" throughout the beef.
"Because Drake dropped great records," Yachty said. "Also, let’s be fair, Drake was deemed a loser in this battle before it started. Because people don’t like him and haven’t and he’s won for a very long time and he’s sat at the top of the throne. Honestly and respectfully, I think he still sits at the top of the throne. I think that even if opinionated masses would say that Kendrick won, I don’t think that people are gonna stop listening to Drake."
While Yachty further noted that there are indeed “no rules” in a rap battle of this magnitude, he feels that this particular beef felt like the “most officiated beef” he’s seen. Still, he doesn’t believe his friend and frequent collaborator lost.
"I said to Drake, I told him, I don’t feel like you won or lost," he explained. "Rappers have lost, and then lost everything. … I don’t think that this has happened to Drake. I think that Drake will still be in everyone’s Spotify Wrapped at the end of the year, at the top. I think he can still drop hits and it will still control the summer. I think that Kendrick made very smart moves and I don’t think Drake would disagree."

In another clip from the same unreleased (as of this writing, at least) discussion, Yachty gave his assessment of how both Drake and Kendrick were forced to take different angles when it came to their respective disses’ lyrical content. Both artists, he said, are "at the top of their game" and have been for some time. As for the specifics leveled back and forth, Yachty was also quick to point out that there’s "no proof" of either side’s claims.
"They didn’t have much on each either," he said. "So they found, one was pedophilia and then one was an abuser, a woman abuser. And they just both kind of poked at 'em. Extreme accusations, absolutely, which there’s no proof to either one. But it’s beef, right?"
Overall, Yachty added, this as "a really good battle," and represents something that will "never, ever, ever" be seen again. From Yachty’s perspective, however, the beef is over, with Kendrick’s "Not Like Us" ( currently the No. 1 song in the country ) standing as the "pivotal moment" from the back-and-forth.
"That song is the one that’ll live and I hope that one day in the near future these two guys can come laugh about it," he said. "When they’re old and gray and extremely dirt-rich, both billionaires, they can come and laugh about it and move forward."
Lil Yachty speaks on the allegations during the Drake vs Kendrick, artists tagging in, and Not Like Us ending it "ped*philia... a woman abuser... theres no proof to either one... I wished it was only Drake & Kendrick... when Kendrick came like 'I hate this n*gga' everyone was… pic.twitter.com/eRjLgtaZ1z — SOUND (@itsavibe) May 17, 2024
Yachty had time to react to a disgruntled fan who was calling him out for being "absolutely shameless" about loyalty.
you are absolutely shameless @lilyachty “loyalty is priceless & that’s all i need” 🥴 pic.twitter.com/DuCBAUZSaL — أ (@drizzyys) May 17, 2024

In tweets responding to the person, Yachty told them to stop trying to spin the narrative.
"u making shit what it’s not, everybody and they mama kno what side I’m on. U fans be over doin shit. I didn’t go into any specifics of the songs. Stop tryna spin narrative."
He continued, "Suck a dick nerd, it wasn’t my beef to speak in..fuck u want me to do? Jump on a feature? I said I felt like nobody won. The whole thing was stupid to begin with. When I support him I’m dick riding, when I dont say shit I switched up. This internet shit is so lame . Can’t win."
Last weekend, Drake, whose " The Heart Part 6 " stands as the final entry in the Kendrick saga, teased that he was moving into a new frame of mind. Specifically, he told fans they could expect some presumably imminent " summer vibes ."

In another clip, he gives his opinion on who won or lost, and as of right now, Yachty has it as a draw because the cards were stacked against the Toronto rapper. “Drake dropped great records. But also, let’s be fair: Drake was deemed a loser in this battle before it started because people don’t like him and haven’t,” he said after suggesting Kendrick’s apparent “animosity.” He continued by admitting he thinks Drake will be fine: “I don’t think people are gonna stop listening to Drake and Drake’s career is gonna flush.”
Boat then said he told Drake “I don’t feel like you won or lost” before adding, “Rappers have lost, and then lost everything. But this hasn’t happened to Drake. He will still be in everybody’s Spotify Wrapped at the end of the year and he’ll still drop hits and control the summer. I think Kendrick made very smart moves and I don’t think Drake would disagree.”

Who Is Bobbi Althoff? All About the Influencer Who's Interviewed Drake and Lil Yachty
Bobbi Althoff went viral for interviewing Drake in his bed on her podcast, 'The Really Good Podcast'
Rebecca Aizin is an Editorial Assistant at PEOPLE. She has been working at PEOPLE since 2023. Her work has previously appeared on Elle, HGTV and Backstage.
Bobbi Althoff went from posting mom content regularly to interviewing famous rappers in a matter of two years.
The 26-year-old influencer began posting videos on TikTok in 2021, mainly focusing on content surrounding her children and her pregnancy experiences. However, she skyrocketed to fame in 2023 when she began her podcast, The Really Good Podcast .
So far, Althoff has interviewed rappers Drake and Lil Yachty , businessman Mark Cuban , actor Rick Glassman and YouTuber Funny Marco, among others.
Known and beloved for her deadpan humor and for intentionally making her interviewees uncomfortable, Althoff has amassed over 7 million TikTok followers and more than 1 million subscribers on her YouTube channel , where she posts her podcast episodes.
However, since her success, some have questioned who Althoff is and how she rose to fame so quickly, prompting rumors that she is an “industry plant” — someone who is secretly being backed by the industry to help them achieve success.
In response to the gossip, Althoff posted a video of herself dancing awkwardly to Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice ’s “Barbie World,” with the caption, “Celebrating because the industry planted me.”
So, who is Bobbi Althoff? Here’s everything to know about the TikTok influencer and podcaster.
She started posting on TikTok in 2021
Althoff began posting regularly on TikTok in 2021, focusing mainly on content surrounding being a mom. Her early TikToks revolved around her pregnancy with her second daughter and motherhood.
In one of her first public TikToks from July 2021, Althoff wrote “when people choose to have their kids in their 20’s instead of waiting till they are at least 35+” over a video of herself mouthing the lyrics to Minaj's "Grindin'." She sings along to the words “dang little mama you is such a loser” repeatedly, seemingly mimicking people who have made comments to her about being a young mom, asking, “Why waste your youth?” in the caption.
She continued posting videos through 2022, mainly of her pregnancy, like clips of her dancing and struggling in the heat at Disneyland .
In the latter, she joked how she was "10 months pregnant" and at the theme park in the June heat.
“I was hoping that I’d be able to walk her out or something but that doesn’t feel like it’s happening,” she said. “She’s never coming, I will be pregnant for the rest of my life and that’s just something I’m going to have to accept.”
Her husband filed for divorce in February 2024
Bobbi and her husband, Cory Althoff, wed on Jan. 31, 2020, and share two children. Sadly, in February 2024, Cory filed for divorce . He listed July 4, 2023, as the date of the couple's separation.
"As sad as I am right now, I am so thankful for the time I got to be his wife," Bobbi wrote on Instagram after the news broke. "While our relationship did not work out as husband and wife, we will always be friends and I will always love him ."
According to his LinkedIn , Cory is a programmer who works as a senior vice president at CompTIA and is a published author of two books about self-teaching computer science and coding.
In April 2023, Cory made a rare appearance on Bobbi’s TikTok as the two made a promotional video for Bounty together. In the video, she talked about how Cory cleans the house — only to reveal she cleans everything after him because he “always misses tiny things.”
“Today I thought it would be a fun idea to talk about our marriage,” Bobbi said in the video. “My husband sleeps downstairs and I sleep upstairs where the children sleep and I take care of them all night long so I’m generally tired so he does all the cleaning.”
On Dave Portnoy's BFFs podcast , Bobbi shared that she doesn't sleep with her husband since she shares her bed with her two kids.
She shares two children with Cory
Althoff has two daughters, whom she refers to as Concrete and Richard, in an effort to keep their names and identities private. While she never shows their faces, she has featured her younger child on her TikTok since the baby was born in June 2022.
In her younger daughter's first appearance, Althoff posted a video of herself just a few weeks after giving birth as she got ready with the newborn to do chores.
“I’m gonna baby wear her so that I can get some laundry done and just get some stuff done around the house,” she said in the TikTok.
Sticking with the bit that she named her daughter Concrete, Althoff responded with a video to a comment in November 2022 of someone critiquing her name choice.
“I don’t see anything wrong with the name Concrete,” she said. “It is a pretty common word so I don’t understand why it would not make a good name. My daughter is going to be a very strong woman with a very strong name for her.”
She continued, “I grew up in the construction business and I just always wanted my daughter to have some ties to myself so yes her name is Concrete Sawdust Althoff so I encourage you guys to think outside the box when naming your children because the future will be a better place if we stop caring about what we name our littles.”
Althoff has since deleted all her videos with her children, explaining on the BFFs podcast that she didn't want them to have a digital footprint.
"I'm so happy I [deleted the videos], especially since I made that decision before [the podcast] because I don't want them to have the digital footprint that I've created," she said. "Now when they go public and they're not with me, I don't have to worry so that's good."
She started her podcast in April 2023
Althoff debuted her podcast, The Really Good Podcast, in April 2023, and one of her first guests was Tammin Sursok, who played Jenna on Pretty Little Liars . Althoff cemented her signature awkward, confrontational style when one of her first questions was, “So you were on a show called Pretty Little Liars . Was the lie that you’re pretty?”
Months later, Althoff revealed on the BFFs podcast that she used to drive to Los Angeles once a week and would pay influencers $300 to join her podcast.
Since then, she has welcomed various other influencers and stars on her podcast, including TikTok star Morgan Presley and Not Dead Yet actor Rick Glassman.
In an April TikTok promoting her podcast, Althoff wrote about how starting a podcast was always a dream of hers.
“I’ve always dreamed of having my own podcast…So I filmed a pilot episode…,” she wrote. “Everyone I showed it to said it was awful..They said I wouldn’t secure celebrity guests anymore…That no one would watch it … But I proved them wrong … It got 6 views and my famous neighbor agreed to do an episode….Don’t give up on your dreams. Ever.”
In an interview with TODAY in August 2023, Althoff said she got the idea to start a podcast using the "dry humor" character she's known for — and emphasized that's not how she is in real life.
A week later, Althoff shared with Cosmopolitan how she doesn't prepare too much for her interviews — but thinks her awkward style is what makes them special.
“ There’s no prep, and that’s the fun of it,” she explained. “I think that’s why celebrities are down to do it. They know it’s a character, and we just wing it. It’s not a real interview. I’m not trying to get hard-hitting information about you — I’m not trying to uncover anything. It’s just a conversation. It’s really a parody of a good interview.”
She interviewed Drake and Lil Yachty in July 2023
After over 2 million views on her interview with YouTuber Funny Marco, Althoff had already gone viral. But her fame escalated when she teased that the next episode of her podcast would be with Drake.
On TODAY, Althoff said that the interview came about when Drake saw her episode with Funny Marco and liked the video and followed her.
"When I saw he followed me, I was like I'm gonna ask," she said. She proceeded to direct message him, and three days later, she was interviewing him in bed.
Her full 1-hour long interview on YouTube, which was released on July 20, 2023, garnered over 9 million views. During her conversation with the star, Althoff maintained her stoic, quiet tone the entire time and did not appear impressed with Drake — nor the fact that they were conducting the interview in a bed.
"The idea behind it was it would be a funny thing that you wanted to do it so bad that you bothered him while he was going to bed to do it," she explained on TODAY. "Now we do all my podcasts in random locations."
During one particularly jokingly tense moment, Althoff asked Drake not to drink while she interviews him.
“It’s a nightcap!” he said.
“It’s sad,” she replied.
Just weeks after she interviewed Drake, however, fans noticed that the Certified Lover Boy rapper and the podcast host had unfollowed each other on Instagram, and Althoff took down her interview with him from all her platforms.
The unfollowing came just days after Althoff posted a TikTok of herself attending Drake's concert in L.A. where she stood in the crowd with her arms crossed with her signature deadpan expression as people danced around her. “Really in my element @ this guy’s concert,” she jokingly captioned the post.
In July 2023, Althoff also posted another hour-long interview with rapper Lil Yachty where the two joked about being young parents, fame and their careers. In the middle of the interview, Drake even called Lil Yachty and shouted hello to Althoff.
“What’s up Bobbo?” Drake said as Lil Yachty turned the phone toward her.
In August 2023, she interviewed Mark Cuban.
She shared that her podcast popping off was "crazy." "I always wanted it to blow up obviously, you hope for something but it's crazy when it actually happens," she said.
Shaquille O'Neal asked her on a date
When Shaquille O'Neal was chatting with Funny Marco on an episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq, the rumors that Marco and Althoff have been dating came up, and Marco refused to answer the NBA legend's question about how long they had been dating.
O'Neal took matters into his own hands and called Althoff on camera to ask her out on a date.
"I'm sitting here with Funny Marco. He told me to ask you on a date , so can I take you to the movies?" he asked, to which she replied, "Sure."

"Album after tour": Everything we know about the new JID album following rapper's social media announcement
A fter the rapper JID took to social media to issue a message to his fanbase about his ongoing tour, talk about his upcoming solo album skyrocketed. The rapper posted several pictures to his Instagram account, which showed him wrapping up his Saudi Arabia concert.
In the caption, he expressed his excitement about his tour going well, as he thanked fans and everyone who worked with him behind the scenes. He then made the announcement about his album.
"A n---a was 100 feet in the Air rapping bout some n---a S--t. Hip Hop is alive and well( album after tour)"
A new project from the rapper, whose real name is Destin Choice Route, will officially follow up on his third studio album, titled The Forever Story. It was released in 2022 and peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 200 Album Charts.
Everything we know about a new JID album
Fans have been on the edge of their seats waiting for more information from the rapper after he confirmed that he was working on two new albums in August 2023. The confirmation came during an Instagram live when he announced that he and rapper Lil Yachty were releasing an album.
"Music coming in a couple day... me and my dawg Yachty, we call it the Blacckboys"
A few days later, Lil Yachty and Destin dropped two singles, namely:
- Half Doin Dope (Feat. Babytron)
Both of these singles went on to garner millions of views across streaming platforms, with many expecting the rappers' project to be released soon. This added to the increasing attention on JID after he teased a potential Metro Boomin collaboration album and that a follow-up to The Forever Story was in the works.
The rapper confirmed in August 2023, that the follow-up project will be titled Forever & A Day. He said that it will be similar to its predecessor and may be stacked with major features and collaborations. The Forever Story featured artists like Kenny Mason, Earthgang, Lil Wayne , and more, with the most popular track from the album being awarded to Surround Sound (Feat. 21 Savage and Baby Tate).
"Me and my money attached emotionally / I get to clutchin' if you get too close to me / I'm at the top where I'm 'posed to be / Jumped in the game, n****s act like they coaching me" - 21 Savage raps on Surround Sound.
The JID and Metro Boomin album was teased when the Atlanta producer took to social media over a year ago with a post that hinted at their potential collaboration. Metro teased the project through Instagram stories and tweets on his official X account.
Destin's manager (Barry Johnson) would later confirm this news with his own post to Instagram. In the caption, he congratulated the rapper on having a very successful tour. According to HypeBeast magazine, Barry's caption read:
"@jidsv has been busy! "Coming off 39 sold out tour dates around the US. Adding more show dates to our Euro run with @earthgang features on the UK leg... To @metroboomin teases the fans about @jidsv x @metroboomin collabo project. I'll say been an amazing month and a great start to the year for @jidsv @zekest80s."
It's still unclear whether Destin was referring to the Metro Boomin collaboration, Forever & A Day, or the highly speculated Lil Yachty collaboration in the caption of his latest Instagram post.
However, fans can be sure to have more information at the end of his ongoing American Dream tour alongside 21 Savage for his latest album, The American Dream . The last date for this tour is on June 15, 2024, which will wrap up the duo's performance in Atlanta at the Lakewood Amphitheatre.

Lil Yachty Admits He Didn't Like Being Namedropped By Kendrick Lamar In Drake Feud
Lil Yachty has admitted that he was left feeling somewhat uncomfortable by Kendrick Lamar mentioning his name on his explosive Drake diss track “Euphoria.”
During the latest episode of his A Safe Space podcast, the Atlanta rapper spoke about being brought up in the beef as an alleged ghostwriter for the 6 God.
“So many people kept calling and texting me with excitement of my name being used and for me it kinda just felt like… I really didn’t want anything to do with it,” he confessed.
“I got a ton of respect for both of these guys. Honestly, it was a cool thing to watch. I learned so much. It was an honor and blessing to be able to experience it firsthand.”
Yachty also revealed that he had prior knowledge about Kendrick namedropping him: “I knew that my name was mentioned before it came out. I didn’t hear the record but I had got word that I was mentioned. I wasn’t surprised.”

Lil Boat, who has worked extensively with Drake in recent years, also offered his thoughts on the high-profile feud, which has been crowned by many as Hip Hop’s greatest ever battle .
“Kendrick clearly had a lot more animosity, and you felt in every song that he dropped,” he said. “Drake dropped great records. But also, let’s be fair: Drake was deemed a loser in this battle before it started because people don’t like him and haven’t.
“Because he’s won for a very long time and he’s sat on the throne — respectfully, he still sits on the throne. Even if the opinionated masses say that Kendrick won, I don’t think people are gonna stop listening to Drake and Drake’s career is gonna flush.”
He added: “I told Drake, ‘I don’t feel like you won or lost.’ Rappers have lost, and then lost everything. But this hasn’t happened to Drake. He will still be in everybody’s Spotify Wrapped at the end of the year and he’ll still drop hits and control the summer. After an alleged demo of Drake’s “Jumbotron Shit Poppin” performed by Yachty leaked online, Rozay jumped on social media to fuel the allegations.
“Yacht Put ya phone on silent lil bro.. [100 emoji] #BBLDRIZZY CALLING AGAIN [nose emoji, hand emoji, laughing emoji],” he wrote, referencing his previous claims that the 6 God has undergone plastic surgery .
He added: “YACHT AKA THE PEN [five writing emojis].”
