Fine Dining Restaurants in Moscow
Café pushkin.
A Moscow institute is known for its impeccable fine dining Russian and French cuisine, the palatial CafĂ© Pushkin opened in 1999 and immediately attracted a loyal following among high society folk. Elaborately decorated to recreate the feel of a 19th-century aristocratâs manor, Pushkin has become equally popular with tourists keen to soak up the stately atmosphere of pre-Revolution Russia. The menu features sophisticated interpretations of definitive Russian cuisine, with a nod to classical French techniques. The kitchenâs insistence on high-quality ingredients lifts well-known favourites to another level of complexity and refinement. The signature beef stroganoff consistently receives rave reviews, while the roasted rack of lamb is the ultimate in rich, meaty indulgence. Of course, a restaurant of this standing serves several varieties of caviar a selection of top-shelf vodkas fit for an emperor.
Despite its rather formal appearance, the Café Pushkin experience is utterly charming. The waiters dress like 19th-century servants and diners are treated like royalty, but not without a sense of fun and theatrics. Bookings well advance are recommended.

DEPO Food Mall
Depo (which means â depot â in Russian) food mall opened in Moscow in February 2019 on the premises of a former tram depot. Built between 1874 and 1910 in the industrial neo-Gothic style, the red-brick Miussky tram depot is considered an important architectural monument.
Depo houses a small farmerâs market, with fruit, vegetables, cheese and meat, as well as the largest food court in Moscow (and, allegedly, in the whole of Europe) with more than 70 stalls, where one can sample food from all over the world â from China to Thailand and from Mexico to Morocco. The food mall also regularly hosts live concerts, DJ sets, workshops and public lectures.
Apart from the main building, which contains the market and the food mall, there are several proper restaurants on the premises of the former depot, including Kraby Kutaby (Crabs and Qutabs) by one of Moscowâs leading restaurateurs, Alexander Rappaport.

The 8 Best Restaurants in Moscow
From the traditional to the modern, fine dining destinations in Moscow celebrate the best that Russian cuisine has to offer.
By Elite Traveler
With many of the best restaurants in Moscow also doubling as bars and clubs, the atmosphere is nearly always one step away from a party, and many of the cityâs elite come dressed to impress. Of course, there are still many elegant and family friendly restaurants for those who prefer a quieter evening. With such a large selection available, Elite Traveler has compiled a suitable list for diners of all persuasions.
Café Pushkin
Designed to recreate the feel of a 19th century aristocratâs house, CafĂ© Pushkin has become one of the most popular restaurants in Moscow, thanks to the quality of its food, impeccable service and the excellent vodka selection. The atmosphere of pre-Revolution Russia is delightfully charming, from the flowery script of the menu to aristocratic country house dĂ©cor. Pushkin is the ideal destination if you want to be treated like Russian nobility and dine like a Tsar â but book ahead, the restaurantâs popularity requires reservation well in advance.

Lavishly decked out with chandeliers and hand-painted furniture, the menu selection may come as a surprise to first-time guests, with options ranging from Pi Pa duck with melon and truffle to beefsteak with foie gras. Turandot puts a French spin on pan-Asian cuisine, and does so with incredible style and boldness. Whilst the interior décor is certainly to be marvelled at, it is the thoughtfully conceptualized and perfectly executed menu options that make for an incredible dining experience.

When the Ginza Project, a company that owns some of the finest restaurants in Moscow, announced that they would be opening a restaurant on the 29th floor of Radisson Royal Hotel, the excitement and anticipation was palpable.
The company has a reputation for the high quality of its restaurants that grace the streets of the capital, and Buono is no exception. The views from Buono are unashamedly spectacular, while the dĂ©cor is elegant, with soft creams complementing the fine views on offer. The food is classical Italian; Chef William Lamberti is well known throughout Europe and has created an excellent menu. Itâs always best to book ahead at Buono, as the window seats that offer the finest views over the city are quickly taken.

Italian for âsmallâ, Piccolino is a cozy, homely restaurant â something of a rarity in Moscow.
Serving typical Italian food, the family friendly establishment is laid back, but this doesnât compromise the quality of the food: good, hearty portions that are exceptionally tasty. The interior of Piccolino has been designed to replicate that of a large country house, and the dĂ©cor is entirely fitting with the atmosphere of the restaurant. In a city where many of the establishments value the names of their guests over the quality of their dishes, Piccolino is the place to come if your preference is quality of food rather than famous faces.
Twin Gardens
With two tasting menus and an Ă la carte option, the Twin Gardens at the heart of Moscow caters to any palette. With the restaurant concept based on the symbiosis of science and nature, their Vegetables set menu explores all manner of produce from seedling to peeling, delicately plated in a tasteful homage to the natural life cycle of wild plants and flowers. For more adventurous types, their Rediscover Russia menu offers a culinary tour of various local specialties found in provinces across the vast continent. They also have a wide selection of Russian wines.

Located in an elegant 19th century mansion, CDL is one of the most sophisticated restaurants in Moscow.
The interior has been gorgeously designed to recreate the grandeur of the Silver Age of Russian culture, with antique balustrades and bas-reliefs throughout the Oak Hall main room. The staircase in the Oak Hall is a particular masterpiece; it was built without a single nail or screw. The fireplace is equally impressive and has been used as a meeting room by President Dmitry Medvedev. Guests can also hire additional rooms such as the Cigar Room and the Cabinet Room. A menu of authentic Russian cuisine has been created by top chef Alexander Popov, with organic dishes bursting with flavor and a splendor to match the opulent surroundings. With so much luxury and class on display, itâs little wonder that former US Presidents Ronald Reagan and George Bush have chosen to dine here. Situated in the center of the city between Bolshaya Nikitskaya 53 and Povarskaya Ulitsa 50, itâs worth booking ahead to avoid disappointment.
White Rabbit
With a domed window inviting soaring views of the Moscow cityscape, White Rabbit has recently undergone extensive renovations, to both its interior and its menu. Renowned architect Natalia Belonogova has transformed the restaurant into an airy, modern space, perfected by the addition of a summer veranda. To connect the dining options with the new interior, head chef Vladimir Mukhin has created a new menu, Metamorphoses, to reflect the lifecycle of the mayfly butterfly.
Delight your palette with scallop, strawberries and blackcurrant or, for dessert, dandelion honey with melted cottage cheese. This summerlike and refreshing menu has its roots in Russian soil and its head in the clouds above Moscowâs skyline.

After dark the restaurant becomes one of the coolest bars in town, with award-winning cocktails and a selective wine list.

New country bar opens in Fairport. See the photos
Country Roads, a country-themed bar and restaurant, has opened in the The Cannery, an entertainment complex in the former home of the American Can Company in the Village of Fairport.
Tim Parinello, who owns BluHorn Tequilaria in Pittsford and Henrietta Hots in Henrietta, is owner. "I really enjoy the experience at Bluehorn and we were looking to do something a bit bigger," he said. Oz Tozan is general manager and David Roderick is chef.
Visitors to the former Smokin' Hot Chicks BBQ will find a familiar casual feel, but the space now has a large central bar and rustic high-top tables.
Colorful murals and paintings by local artist Lorraine Staunch accent the space. There are a couple of electronic dart boards as well as a stage that will be the focus of live entertainment.
The menu at Country Roads
The food at Country Roads, geared for sharing, includes classic bar fare like Buffalo chicken tenders, quesadillas, sliders, street tacos, chicken wings and loaded fries.
A crowd-pleasing appetizer is the trash can nachos, the makings of classic nachos piled into a can without a top or bottom. When they are served, the can is pulled up and the contents tumble out onto the tray beneath it.
For libations, there are six margaritas ($12), three of which add spice to the equation. It also offers five variations of Moscow mules ($10). Among the other craft cocktails ($10 to $12) are an Aperol spritz, espresso martini, old fashioned and raspberry lemon drop martini.
Seven beers are offered on draft ($5) and a dozen or so more in bottle ($5); most are large national brands.
Sunday brunch is on the horizon.
Entertainment at Country Roads
The plan is to roll out a regular calendar of entertainment in the near future:
- Wednesday: Country karaoke and line dancing
- Thursday and Saturday: Country DJ
- Friday: Live band beginning at happy hour
Watch social media and the website for updates.
Country Roads is at 25 Parce Ave., a few doors west of the giant smokestack. The complex has a large parking lot, and there's additional parking in a public lot across Main Street.
Hours are 4 to 11 p.m. Monday; 4 p.m. to midnight Wednesday; 4 p.m. til ? Thursday (closing will depend on business); 4 p.m. til 2 a.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday; 11 am. to 9 p.m. Sunday. It is closed Tuesdays.
Accessibility: There are accessible spaces in front of the eatery and a ramp leads up to the door. The seating is almost entirely high tops, except for a few picnic tables that are usually on the stage.

Westsiders brings downtown vibe to Rocky River with upscale restaurant, cocktail menu

Westsiders in Rocky River recently opened in the former space of Bomba Tacos. Alex Darus
- Alex Darus, cleveland.com
CLEVELAND, Ohio â Westsiders is one of the newest restaurants to hit the Greater Cleveland culinary scene aiming to bring a taste of downtown to the suburbs.
Westsiders, 19880 Detroit Road, officially opened on July 3 in the space formerly occupied by Bomba Tacos and Rum. Business partners Constantine Katsaros and Jack Messer, who own Twist Social Club and Landmark Smokehouse, are behind the project.
Westsiders is open for lunch and dinner from Wednesday through Sunday, with an additional Sunday brunch menu. It can easily be described as elevated American, but with a fun edge thatâs approachable.
âWe call this modern premium,â Messer explained.
Katsaros and Messer started renovating the space in November 2023, a few months after Bomba closed. While the building had a solid foundation for a restaurant, the duo completely transformed the space to accommodate their kitchen and bar programs while also giving it a premier, art deco design.
âWe really tried to change it as much as we could and make it into our own vision,â Katsaros said.

Katsaros and Messer were looking to expand their restaurant group, recently celebrating 25 years at Twist. They were looking to open their next concept downtown. However, the two business owners grew up in Westlake and have family on the West Side of town, so they expanded their search.
âIt made sense for us to come this direction instead and we wanted to bring downtown to the suburbs,â Katsaros said.
A major upside to moving out of the city is an easier parking situation. Westsiders has a large lot and is centrally located in Rocky River, making it extremely walkable.
âWe want it to be very easy for people to get here,â Messer said. âWeâll complement what the neighborhood has.â
A key design element of Westsiders is the industrial panels and grates that were once a part of the downtown Higbeeâs and Terminal Tower structures. The pieces also help to literally bring a piece of downtown to the suburbs.
Katsaros and Messer worked with Jason Wein at Cleveland Art to acquire the pieces well long before beginning the Westsiders project.
âWe bought them before we even had this idea,â Katsaros explained of the materials. âWeâre really excited to share with people and keep it in Cleveland.â
The chandelier at Westsiders in Rocky River. Courtesy of Westsiders
Katsarosâ wife, Lindsay, was a major part of the design vision, and she took one of the leaf patterns from the historical grates to make the Westsiders logo. Wein also created a chandelier for the restaurant entrance that features individual crystals in the same leaf shape.
Westsiders Chef Chris Suntala also has roots in the West Side suburbs. Suntala grew up in Rocky River before heading to the East Coast to pursue a culinary career. He returned home after the COVID-19 pandemic and began working at Landmark. A few months later, Katsaros and Messer realized his style of upscale cuisine with an edge would be perfect at their new location.
While the goal for Westsiders food options was to keep it high-end, Katsaros and Messer didnât want it to be too exotic and unfamiliar to locals.
âBut on an everyday basis, we want to be somewhere that is not just a special occasion place,â Katsaros said. âSo we wanted to have this elevated food but also had it be grounded and rooted in the familiar.â
Suntalaâs regular menu features cavatelli and tagliatelle made by hand daily.
âIt makes a big difference â you taste it,â Messer said of the pasta dishes. Another standout is the Westsiderâs Burger with cheddar, arugula, shallots and fancy sauce that epitomizes the restaurantâs attitude of elevated comfort.
A spread of food from Westsiders in Rocky River. Courtesy of Westsiders
Westsiders isnât marketing itself toward kids, as there isnât a childrenâs menu or high chairs on standby. Theyâll accommodate families, but the idea is to cater to adults looking for a fancy night out thatâs still fun. Messer hopes it becomes as much of a night-time drinking destination as it is an all-day dining choice.
âThey are doing some incredibly complex cocktailing,â Katsaros said of the bar crew.
The drinks menu features a robust variety of wine pours, but the cocktails are the star of the show. The Matcha Fizz features gin, cacao butter, vanilla, coconut, matcha and bubbles for a light, yet complicated sipper.
The Caprese cocktail starts with a whiskey base thatâs complemented by basil, tomato, lime, grapefruit and whey. The Buckeye Old Fashion featuring bourbon, peanut butter, chocolate and bitters is the ultimate nightcap to a delicious meal.
While the cocktails are undoubtedly involved, the staff spends a lot of time prepping ingredients so that customers arenât waiting 20 minutes for a cocktail. Additionally, the high-quality drinks at Westsiders are competitively priced. Each cocktail on the menu is $13, and an additional $3 off during happy hour.
âSo familiar, but interesting, It also has to be fast,â Messer said of the cocktail philosophy. âAnd itâs a great price point.â
The interior of Westsiders restaurant and bar in Rocky River. Courtesy of Westsiders
In general, making the staff at Westsiders feel equipped and prepared for every shift was a priority for the owners. Before officially opening, the staff spent a week and a half training so that they understand the flavor profiles and ingredients of every dish and cocktail.
âIt was a big part of the strong launch we wanted to have,â Katsaros added.
Westsiders might be upscale, but itâs not the kind of place with low instrumental music and white tablecloths. The parking lot has speakers bumping with music to set the tone from the minute that customers approach the building. The staff often plays music videos on the TV screens to add to the fun vibe. The easiest way to describe Westsiders is a high-energy adult playground.
âIf people start to feel like they donât have to go downtown to have this type of experience and they start to look at us as a downtown equivalent ... that will be a success to us,â Katsaros said.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) â Naomi Pomeroy, an award-winning chef who helped put Portland on the map as a culinary destination, has drowned in an inner tubing accident, authorities said. She was 49 years old.
Pomeroy drowned Saturday evening in the Willamette River near Corvallis after the group she was tubing with got caught on an exposed snag in the water, the Benton County Sheriffâs Office said in a statement. Pomeroy was pulled under the water and trapped by a paddle board leash attached to her, Captain Chris Duffitt said. The group had tied their inner tubes and paddle board together.
Authorities said they safely recovered the other two people on the shore and transported them to a boat launch.
The sheriffâs office said it is still working to recover Pomeroyâs body. It searched the area using sonar, underwater cameras and drones but was unable to find it due to heavy debris.
âI am dedicated to locating Naomi to bring her home to her family and loved onesâ, Sheriff Jef Van Arsdall said in a statement. âI want to thank all involved in the search and recovery mission and support during this difficult time.â
The sheriffâs office warned people not to attach themselves to a paddle board unless it has a quick release leash, and advised against tying two or more inner tubes together, as doing so means each person should have a life jacket.
The Oregon State Marine Board noted there has been an âemerging trendâ in recent years of people dying due to the leash on their stand up paddle board, or SUP, getting tangled in brush or other debris in rivers.
âMost ankle leashes used by SUP users are not designed for quick release,â Brian Paulsen, the agencyâs boating safety program manager, said in a statement Tuesday. He said quick release leashes, designed for moving water, are worn around the waist.
Pomeroy rose to prominence in the Portland food scene after opening the restaurant Beast in 2007. There, diners could enjoy a six-course prix fixe dinner served at communal tables and built around Pomeroyâs penchant for butchering whole animals.
The restaurant paved the way for Pomeroy to win a coveted James Beard award for best chef in the Northwest in 2014, around the same time Portland was soaring in popularity as a travel destination for its food scene, natural beauty and quirky reputation. The restaurant closed during the coronavirus pandemic, but Pomeroy had just recently opened a new frozen custard shop.
Pomeroy was also known for her appearance on cooking shows, including Top Chef Masters, and owned the Portland cocktail bar Expatriate with her husband. The bar was closed Monday, KOIN reported, as mourners left flowers and remembrances stacked outside the business.
Heather Wallberg, who owns a restaurant across from Expatriate and has worked in the industry for over a decade, told KOIN that Pomeroy âmade the Portland food scene what it is today.â She said she reached out to Expatriate to offer any help they need.
Pomeroyâs sudden passing âreminds you of the fragility of life,â she said.
U.S. Rep. Earl Blumenauer from Oregon issued a statement describing Pomeroyâs death as a tragic loss.
âNaomi was not just a fabulous chef and entrepreneur, but an amazing human being,â Blumenauer said. âHer impact went far beyond Portland, helping establish our leadership and reputation for food excellence. She will be greatly missed.â

Normally when a customer visits your business for the first time and starts crying, that isnât a good sign. But at River Northâs OUD Coffee & Cake , it was.
Started by four first-generation Palestinian Americans, OUD opened at the end of June with âthe essence of Palestineâ front and center. âWe really wanted to emphasize our culture, background, and history,â says partner Feras Ghassau. One customer teared up while drinking a traditional Arabic tea when a song she used to listen to with her family back home came on in the background: âYou typically donât get that kind of reaction at a corporate coffee shop,â says partner Saif Alrafati.
The Chicago area has the largest Palestinian population in the country , with many in the community dwelling on the Southwest Side, including in the suburbs where South Harlem Avenue is known for a stretch of Palestinian restaurants. But there are few restaurants owned by folks with Palestinian roots within city limits. Notables include Cedars Mediterranean Kitchen in Hyde Park, Middle East Grocery in Andersonville, Salam Restaurant in Logan Square, Pizza Capri in Hyde Park and Lincoln Park, and Pilsen Yards in Pilsen. As the war in Gaza continues , many members of the diaspora and their allies are searching for community gathering points, a sense of belonging. As a new restaurant and cafe in the heart of Downtown Chicago, OUD provides such a venue.
The coffee shop and cafe features decorative items from the ownersâ family members throughout the 1,300-square-foot space. On either side of the long and narrow space, wood banquettes are paired with two- and four-top tables. Cozy nooks on each side of the front door offer terrific people-watching as well as a great spot for solo visitors to work. A handful of tables on the sidewalk provide additional seating.
For the coffee drinks, the partners at OUD didnât have to look far for a quality coffee bean supplier. Ghassauâs family has been in the coffee business for years, importing beans from Guatemala that are roasted locally. In addition to classic coffee drinks â think Americano, cappuccino, drip, and the like â OUD offers a dozen flavored lattes, ranging from ginger turmeric and rose to honey lavender, available hot or iced. Then thereâs the OUD latte, which features notes of cardamom, pistachio, and mint. âYou have the warmth of the cardamom and the freshness and fragrance of the mint with a little bit of pistachio for the sweetness,â Alrafati says. âIt speaks to a lot of the day-to-day flavors weâve had growing up.â
Other specialty drinks include Turkish coffee â a special coffee grinder is used to grind the beans to the desired ultra fine texture â masala and turmeric chais, and a blended mint lemonade, which utilizes whole lemons. Tamr Hindi, a refreshing sweet-and-sour Arab drink, is made with tamarind, water, and sugar. Smoothies and alcohol-free mojitos round out the drink menu.
For some of the savory baked goods and pastries, OUD has partnered with local Palestinian bakers. There are a half dozen styles of baklava, filled with pistachios, walnuts, and Nutella; and knafeh cakes too, which have a creamy cheese filling and are topped with crunchy phyllo and toasted pistachios. Crunchy phyllo can also be found in OUDâs Viral Dubai chocolate bar , made with dark chocolate and stuffed with creamy pistachio paste. Its name references its recent popularity on TikTok.
On the savory side, thereâs manakeesh, a Lebanese flatbread garnished with cheese, spinach, or zaâatar. Heartier Mediterranean-centric dishes are also available, including a variety of breakfast sandwiches, wraps, crepes, panini, and salads. Pork doesnât appear on the menu with turkey bacon and turkey sausage appearing instead. A waffle comes in a variety of flavors including Lotus biscoff and Kinder Bueno.
Customers of the spaceâs previous tenant, Fabcakes, will find a selection of their favorites here, too. The OUD partners helped convince Fabcakes owner, Poland-born Fabiola Tyrawa, to stay in Chicago and open a wholesale business after she sold her cafe, which opened in 2016. OUD was her first customer. Her rotating selection of baked goods at OUD includes tiramisu brownies, mini croissants, blueberry muffins, and chocolate espresso scones.
Inside OUD, in addition to those decorative items from the partnersâ families, youâll find other cultural references, including two of its namesakes on the wall. âOudâ is a Middle Eastern pear-shaped wooden string instrument. The word also refers to a bark from the aquilaria tree found in the Middle East that is often used in fragrances. Shortly after OUD opened, one customer from Egypt was so excited to see the instruments, he asked to play one. âHe got a standing ovation,â says Ghassau.
In the future, the team hopes to offer oud performances in the evening as well as classes in tatreez (Palestinian embroidery). âWe really want to stay true to who we are in our home and our families,â says Alrafati of their inspiration.
Adds Ghassau: âWith everything thatâs going on in the world as crazy as it is, we just want to showcase our culture and where weâre from. That way the people back home are not forgotten.â
OUD Coffee & Cake , 714 W Wells Street, open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

For the most part this location is alright. The servers are always kind and fantastic but it's always hot or miss with the food. For the most part it's great, standard breakfast food that has made them famous. Sometimes that consistency fails though, and where the servers are great the cooks don't always get it didn't. Today we received a salad with rotten lettuce, they were quick to apologize and make a new salad which was good. For the most part this is a great location so even when they have off days the service brings us back. - Liz
The service was amazing, had a lovely waitress. The food was not up to par, skillet dishes should not be so shallow, paying $15 for half of what it used to be is just insane. Mediocre at best in my opinion. Ambiance was okay, again mediocre at best. Biting in to an over easy egg, and getting a stream of just raw egg whites was absolutely putrid. And let me clarify for you what an over easy egg is "The egg whites should be set. Carefully flip (trying not to break the yolk) and cook the second side for another 30 seconds for best results. They should have a runny egg yolk and set whites." The egg whites should not be runny and raw, and the other waitress who put her two cents in saying "well over easy has raw egg whites" no it does not, you are going to cause food poisoning to someone, absolutely fucking insane that people think THAT is the correct way to respond. If you think people are out there eating raw egg whites in an over easy egg maybe you do not need to be in the food industry.
Yes, the crew of this restaurant is clearly new. But from what I saw they were also clearly doing their best! My son and I went in for a milkshake on graduation weekend (also football weekend!) and the place was hopping. Even though the wait was long, we decided to stay because of the kindness of the staff -- the two who worked the front counter (I think names were Mackenzie and Anthony) were juggling several things but were courteous, friendly and working hard. Our server (whose name I can't remember, sorry!) was also excellent, and multiple other staffers checked in to make sure we'd been helped. My son also gives two thumbs up to the old-fashioned Oreo milkshake. So - if you go to Denny's in these first few weeks, be prepared to wait a bit. But give the kids who work there some grace and help them learn.
I've been here twice. First time they were out of wheat bread and ladies bathroom stall was closed due to no toilet paper. Second time I ordered a salad and they were out of lettuce. So sad, they are fairly new, so I don't understand the issues they are having.
The store is brand spanking new and it's obvious. We arrived and the 20 minute wait to be seated was fine. It was the 30 minute wait for someone to take our order that was not as fine. We also had to wait far too long to get our drinks. And it took them too long to get all of our food out. We ordered 2 apps for our party of 8 and the first came but we were almost done with our meal before the second came. The service was quite confused and everyone was all over the place. If you come at a busy time, expect to wait as it looks as if 90% of the employees here are new to the industry. They're trying but it's not great. However... I can recognize that this is all due to this store being open for only a very short time. This feels like the problems one can expect from a soft opening, and, in all honesty, that's what this feels like. I fully expect that when I come back in a couple of months it will fell like the well-run machine Denny's is. The restaurant itself is quite lovely. O
I placed an online order for salted pancakes and sunny side up eggs. The first time they gave just the cakes with raw sunny side up eggs. Returned to the store they were nice and kind but didn't understand how to make the sunny side up. I showed them running raw whites and they said they would fix it. They returned with the proper salted cakes but gave me two more raw sunny side up. I understand food not looking like a photo but to have two sets of undercooked eggs isn't ok. Also have been trying to call for about an hour and don't believe they answer the phone.
Sunny side ups
My partner and I have come to this location 6 times since they opened. The first 4 times we had PHENOMENAL experiences. The food was fresh, killer, and well priced. Service was friendly, attentive, and (while definitely still in the process of training) putting their best feet forward. The 5th time that we came, we had a good waitress, albeit a little stressed from the breakfast/lunch rush, who took our orders and got us our drinks. About 10 minutes into waiting for our food, she kindly came up to us to let us know that she was being sent on break, but River was going to take care of us. We had no issue with this until we received 0 service or check-ins until almost 30 full minutes later. Our food arrived cold, over cooked, and was missing multiple items. Keep in mind, this was after the rush, and there were less than 5 tables on the floor in total. We tried to look past this, and we had family in town, so we decided to go to this Dennys again. We told our folks that this place was great, and that the food is awesome, hoping that the last experience was a one-off poor experience. Upon check-in, River (who I assume is a manager, based on how he dresses and acts around the rest of the staff) did multiple things that were just plain neglectful or rude, and absolutely oppose good customer service. When we were seated, our waitress (Jessica) did an excellent job welcoming us, taking our orders, and being attentive. GREAT JOB!! While our waitress was taking the order of a table next to us, River directly interrupted her customer to tell her to take another table. He also, once again, missed significant parts of our meals when he brought out the food (he wasn't our waiter). I had a TBone steak (something I have enjoyed in the past here), and my whole plate was cold to the touch. When I said that it all looked cooked well, but it was cold, River pressed his hand to my steak and asked what temp I thought it should be! He took my food back, and got it remade, though it came out mostly cold, and I believe my steak was microwaved to get it out faster. In general throughout my family's experiences over the last couple of visits, it feels like Dennys had a caring, good natured staff that wants to do a good job. The issue seems to be a lack of proper setup; and (if River is indeed a manager) a lack of training in proper management. It feels like he is single-handedly throwing wrenches in smooth operation, and is a primary source to a lot of stress and anxiety for the rest of the staff. Overall, that sense gets passed down to the customers as well. I love this place, and will give it another try, but unless the attitude of management, and the performance of the restaurant as a whole improves, I will stop going after one more attempt.
The food was good, though portions were on the smaller side. The server was very friendly.

I'm super disappointed in this new location. I was excited to try, but it seems like a mess. First, we went in and they said it would be a 30 minute wait. That's fine, yet we couldn't put down our number. They said they encourage you to stay in the store and wait. The problem with that is, there's hardly a waiting area at all. There's no chairs to wait and everyone was just bunched around the door. Then, when we came back 30 minutes later, they said "someone will be with you soon" and that wasn't the case. We waited for another 15 minutes. Finally, we got seated. Once we were seated, NOBODY came to help us. The people next to us came after us and they were helped right away. Couldn't even ask for help because all the employees were running around. Clearly this store isn't organized, as I've heard other people not getting helped after being seated. After waiting for almost 20 minutes and getting no help, we decided to just leave. This location needs to fix the organization, as this was super duper disappointing.
We got here and waited 30 minutes for our order to be taken. Then got our straws thrown at us. We waited about an hour and a half for our food and finally went to the server to ask what was happening. She then proceeded to ask if we were ready to be seated. No. We have already been here. She responded by saying oops we forgot about you. We waited 30 more minutes and finally the food came. We got the food and it was freezing cold. DO NOT COME HERE.

First time trying Kay?s, after visiting family up in that area. The food portions were excellent considering the price point. ... Chicken parm & garlic knots were awesome! What a great and friendly little place. We shared a small pizza with meatballs. It was on the thin side and a bit crispy which ... I love. Sauce was yummy. Served nice and hot on a metal pan.
