My wife and I recently purchased a yacht through Ancasta, and David Routledge was the broker responsible. Although he was the vendors’ agent, David nevertheless showed a remarkable ability to treat us, as buyers, as a priority at all stages. He always responded to our questions and concerns and was consistently both helpful and professional. Even after we had returned to the UK he continued to follow up on a number of matters which were outstanding, and always seemed to go ‘above and beyond’ what one would expect of a broker in this situation. As a result of our recent experience we would have no hesitation in using the Company again, either as a purchaser or a vendor or in recommending it to others.

In a world where there is so much indifferent sales service, as we reach the end of what has been a fairly long road, I thought I should express my thanks to you and your team. For a first time buyer of what is probably my most expensive luxury purchase, the process of decision making is made so much easier if one has the assistance of people like you and your team. You guys spent hours with me viewing boats within my price range and then even longer discussing the merits of each yacht in order that I could focus on the important features I needed within my Boat and in consequence, make the correct purchase. I got frustrated with myself, so I can only imagine how you all felt, but at all times everyone was professional, informative and friendly. As someone who has spent a life time in sales, I was hugely impressed by a team who applied the skill of Knowing Your Customer in a manner that allowed me to know myself and my own requirements.

Hi David Just a quick note to say Pathfinder arrived safely in Holyhead with all intact. She looks great and for an old girl has tolerated the rigours of her journey across Biscay very well. I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for all your hard work on this. As you know I flew out to Mallorca to make my first ever yacht purchase, a fairly stressful situation when you're spending most of your savings. I was concerned about how I would manage after the sale in preparing the yacht for delivery over the phone without completely breaking the bank. After meeting you and the many emails and phone calls we have exchanged I have been greatly reassured. As well as representing your client appropriately during the sale, you have also worked hard on my behalf to negotiate the Spanish bureaucracy (I had thought I would need a lawyer), arranged delivery quotes, organised timely and reasonably priced yard work, and facilitated the work of the delivery crew. I really don't think I could have completed this process without your ongoing wise advice. Thanks very much David for everything.

We haven’t met but I wanted to tell you about the exceptional help that we have received from Hanne.. Last summer my wife and I decided to buy a used Lagoon catamaran and we were recommended to speak to Hanne by the skipper of a friend’s yacht. We have recently completed the purchase of a 2011 Lagoon 450 and Hanne has helped us every step of the way through several boats offered by other brokers which pretended to be for sale but weren’t really. As motor boat owners for some 15 years in our home of Jersey, we have had many dealings with brokers, but we were amazed at the time and effort that Hanne put into helping us, with apparent disregard for what she would get out of it. We would particularly mention some of Hanne’s qualities which were evidenced during our 6+ months of using her help.  Firstly, she has very high integrity which results in her always being totally honest and, when something is uncertain, describing it in a fair and balanced way. Secondly, she is clearly very knowledgable and led us through the complex process of buying a used boat based in Turkey, originally registered in the Isle of Man but then re-registered in Russia, which belonged to a BVI company beneficially owned by a Russian individual which we wanted registered in Jersey. Thirdly, she is very responsive dealing promptly and efficiently with complex tasks in different languages, whatever the time of day and whatever the day of the week. Based on our experience we would have no hesitation in strongly recommending Hanne and we wanted you to know what a credit to Ancasta she is.

As swiss citizens, we have bought a sailing boat from a finnish owner in palma de mallorca, a combination which did not seem too easy to us. However, the whole process was handled by Hanne Niederbracht of Ancasta Palma in an extremely professional and competent way with complete fairness for both parties. Particularly impressing was the way in which Hanne Niederbracht responded to questions and requests even over the weekend in a quick, effective, very friendly and forthcoming way. For further questions and surveys, she liaised local experts which worked in the same swift and competent way. In the end, only because of her great support, we could complete the transfer of ownership and reregistration of the boat within just a few weeks, to the mutual satisfaction of buyer and seller. We heartily thank Hanne Niederbracht for making the buying of our new boat such a pleasant and confiding experience. We can give Ancasta Palma, and Hanne Niederbracht in particular, our highest recommendation.
