The 67m/219'10" expedition yacht 'Calex' is an excellent new superyacht for the luxury charter market. Delivered by the Italian shipyard Benetti and featuring interior styling by Italian designer Benetti this award winning yacht can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 7 cabins.

Built in 2022, Calex is made for thrilling adventure and exploration in the most remote places around the globe. She is equipped with wheelchair accessibility, spa, elevator, beach club and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Calex offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 suites. The master suite incorporates its own study and dressing room as well as a his and her bathroom. She is also capable of carrying up to 17 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

On your charter, you'll find plenty to keep you busy and entertained including a dedicated library, where you can unwind in seclusion. Elsewhere the latest beauty and hair treatments are available in the luxurious beauty room or the steam room is great for your skin and a perfect place to unwind. Kick back and relax in the well-appointed spa plus make your day truly exceptional at the beach club. A gym with all the latest equipment is available for a good work out.

Calex benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter including wheelchair-friendly access, making this vessel suitable for all guests. Travelling from deck to deck is quick, easy and accessible with the on-board elevator or take advantage of the on board Wi-Fi and stay connected at all times. Guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 4,400 nautical miles from her 127,000 litre fuel tanks at cruising speed.

Set against the backdrop of your chosen cruising ground, you and your guests can enjoy fun on the water with the collection of water toys and accessories aboard Calex. You'll be loving the huge adrenaline rush as you zip over the water on one of the two Yamaha FX SVHO WaveRunners. Another excellent feature is a Connelly waterski that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. Additionally, there are two F5 SEABOBs providing agile cruising and diving. If that isn't enough Calex also features wakeboards, kayaks, paddleboards and surfboards. When it comes to Tenders, Calex has you covered - with three tenders, including a 8m/26'3" Scorpion Tender.

Motor Yacht

CALEX is a 67m M/Y currently under construction by Benetti.

Commissioned for a Californian owner, CALEX is planned for delivery in Spring 2022.

Launching in early February 2022 at the Benetti shipyard in Livorno, the fully custom design features a streamlined exterior by Cassetta Yacht Designers and an elegant interior by Benetti's Style Department. Finished with marble and fine wood, CALEX's interior design is bespoke in every detail, with 160 square metres devoted entirely to the owner's personal areas. 

With a generous swim platform, beach club, gym, jacuzzi and several entertaining areas, the Italian designed vessel provides the owner with a luxurious resort.  

CALEX accommodates 14 people across 1 expansive master cabin, 2 large VIP cabins, 2 double cabins and 2 twin. There is room for 16 crew onboard.

World Debut: Benetti’s ‘Calex’

Benetti Yachts in Italy says its 220-foot Calex is scheduled to make its world debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show in Florida from March 23-26.

Calex was delivered to its owner in spring 2022. This will be the first time the custom yacht is on display for the public.

The yacht has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. Exteriors are by Cassetta Yacht Designers. Benetti’s Style Department handled the interiors.

Features aboard Calex include a 1,700-square-foot-plus upper deck for the owner’s use with a private outdoor lounge hidden from the decks above. The sundeck has gym equipment and a hot tub.

Eco-friendly technology: Calex is the first fully custom Benetti to have an engine room that complies with Tier III regulations. It’s built with a “scrubbing system” for the exhaust gasses.

67m Benetti yacht Calex to make world debut at Palm Beach International Boat Show 2023

Following her launch in February 2022, the highly private 67 metre Benetti motor yacht Calex will make her first public appearance at the 2023 Palm Beach International Boat Show later this month (March 23-26).  

The yacht, which was formerly known as Project Fenestra, was delivered to an experienced American owner in spring 2022 with the buyer introduced by Northrop & Johnson in June 2019. 

Designed by Giorgio M Casseta and his studio, Calex has been built in steel and aluminium with a seven-cabin layout that can accommodate 14 guests. Ten cabins can accommodate 17 crewmembers, including three doubles for the captain, first officer and chief engineer. The owners specifically requested that the crew quarters include materials and furnishings of a similar quality to those used in the guest accommodation.

Calex has six decks, with special attention paid to the owner’s deck, which occupies 160 square metres and includes a lounge with bar and a 180-degree view that still offers complete privacy. The sundeck features a forward steering station, gym and Jacuzzi. 

The interiors of the superyacht are by Benetti's in-house team and she is the first custom Benetti of this size to fully comply with TIER III regulations thanks to a scrubbing system for the exhaust gases from both the propulsion and generating systems.

Benetti has a number of exciting projects in the works currently, including the final stages of construction of FB283 .

Guests can effortlessly travel between the many interior decks in the stunning glass elevator. The deck furniture also can be configured depending on requirements. CALEX’s exceptional Benetti craftsmanship and clever use of space are demonstrated throughout the entire yacht, enveloping guests in luxury from deck to deck. 

CALEX welcomes 12 guests in seven warm and modern staterooms. The vast master suite is situated on the upper deck with a clear focus on privacy and relaxation. With a private office, spa-like double bathroom and their own private foredeck, this is the epitome of on-water luxury. This stateroom’s 180-degree views can be admired while in bed, or guests can head through the automatic doors to the completely private open-air hangout. CALEX’s six guest cabins, two VIPs on the main deck, two kings and two convertible twins with Pullmans on the lower deck all offer the same chic marble ensuite bathrooms. CALEX’s clever layout is extremely charter-friendly, with versatile guest accommodations and many different zones for guests to enjoy depending on their mood.

This charter yacht is a dream for those seeking to take advantage of all things alfresco. From the main deck aft and upper deck aft, guests can enjoy meals and entertainment surrounded by unbeatable views. CALEX’s sundeck is second to none, with a dedicated workout and yoga space, a Jacuzzi and plenty of space to recline. Her bridge deck has an outdoor area with a lounge and bar. In our opinion, her best feature is the five-star beach club. For those interested in hanging out waterside in style, this prime real estate invites guests to rejuvenate in the hammam, rehydrate at the bar, watch the game on TV or enjoy the vast array of watersports on offer.

The super yacht Calex , which belongs to the American billionaire David Wilson - CEO of the Wilson Automotive Group - is in Mallorca off Puerto Portals .

Wilson owns one of the 10 largest car dealership chains in the USA . Wilson purchased the Toyota dealership Toyota of Orange in 1985.

his dealership grew into a chain of seventeen car dealerships. With 2,000 employees and annual sales of around US$ 2 billion.

According to a quote on the Wilson website. “Wilson Automotive dealership has sold a new Toyota, Scion or Lexus every half hour for the past 30 years”. (He sells more than 60,000 cars per year).

Benetti M/Y ‘Calex’ Is the 67-Metre Bespoke Yacht Customized to the Last Detail

M/Y ‘Calex’, bespoke 67-metre yacht with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, was custom-made by Benetti for a Californian owner. The sleek exterior styling is by Cassetta Yacht Designers, while the contemporary interiors, featuring precious marble and fine wood, are designed by the Shipyard’s Style Department. The master cabin is on a deck designed around the owner. Facing forward and looking out onto an exterior space with a lounge area and fireplace, it cannot be seen from the upper decks because of a clever interplay of perspectives and volumes that ensures complete privacy.

M/Y ‘Calex’ is the 67-metre bespoke yacht by Benetti, customized in every detail. The yacht has indoor and outdoor spaces that ensure absolute privacy and comfort and cater to the owner’s passion for exercise and well-being. Cassetta Yacht Designers developed the streamlined, well-proportioned exterior contours, while the interiors designed by the Benetti Style Department feature alternating light and dark colour shades, with the extensive use of maple and American walnut, ivory-coloured leathers, and white statuary and crema marfil marble. The fabrics used for the decorative cushions are by Loro Piana Interiors.

The yacht extends across five enclosed decks, plus a Sundeck, and stands out for her perfectly balanced volumes. The interiors were fitted out using the ‘box in box’ method and meet the highest construction standards, testifying yet again to the shipyard’s exceptional craftsmanship, with new technology used on ‘Calex’ to minimise noise transmission and ensure silent navigation at a speed of 12 knots.

The stand-out feature of this 67-metre yacht is the Upper Deck, which has a surface area of 160 square metres devoted entirely to the owner’s personal spaces. A huge Master Cabin, containing a spacious suite, an elegant double bathroom, a private office and a walk-in wardrobe, extends from midships onto the foredeck outside and offers a 180-degree view, with two curved automatic sliding doors opening out onto an exclusive lounge area furnished with chaises longues, armchairs, a table and an original gas fireplace. While wide open, it is a very private space, much of which cannot be seen from the upper decks as a result of the carefully planned volumes and depths.

The foredeck can also be used as a touch and go helicopter pad, giving the owner the greatest possible freedom when coming on board. On the same deck, an open area in the stern, with a dining table and a relaxation area furnished with armchairs and other seating, is complemented by an interior lounge with a TV cabinet.

The stern area on the Main Deck hosts guests in a spacious open-air lounge, while inside we find the main lounge, with a table seating 12, sofas and armchairs, followed by the galley. The owner also wanted two large VIP cabins on this deck, one on each side of the yacht, with two garages of different sizes in the bow for the main tender and various water toys.

The four guest cabins, two doubles and two with twin beds (convertible), are midships on the Lower Deck and completely separated from the accommodation in the bow for the crew of 16, which at the owner’s request is decorated with materials and furnishings similar to those used in the guest area. Separate guest and crew flows and the use of dumb waiters ensure maximum privacy and excellent service on board, connecting these areas with the galley on the Main Deck and the upper decks.

Also on the Lower Deck of M/Y ‘Calex’, amidships, is the large engine room, Benetti’s first on a full custom yacht this size to fully comply with TIER III regulations because it is fitted with a scrubbing system for the exhaust gases from both the propulsion and generating systems. In the bow, the spacious swim platform and the beach club are connected to the Main Deck by two fixed stairways.

A gullwing door opens onto the swim platform and lets light flood into the interiors of the beach club, where a long swing-down hatch on the starboard side provides easier access to the water and even more light.

The Bridge Deck, which has an outdoor space containing a lounge area furnished with bar, sofas, TV cabinet and barbecue and is served by a pantry, revolves around the captain and the wheelhouse. The large captain’s cabin is separated from the officer and crew quarters to be close to the ship office and the futuristic helm station, which features a touchscreen console designed by Telemar.

On the Sun Deck, the only deck not served by the lift, a central area with gym equipment and a Jacuzzi pool ensure the utmost in comfort and well-being.

Who owns Moscow Crocus City Hall and claims responsibility for attack?

President Vladimir Putin has not yet made a public statement about the attack.

ISIS claimed responsibility for an assault at a popular concert venue complex near Moscow on Friday.

The attack resulted in at least 40 fatalities and over 100 injuries as attackers raided the venue with firearms and incendiary devices.

The terror group asserted accountability for the assault in a brief statement released by the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq on Telegram on Friday. However, the group did not present any evidence to substantiate their claim.

Crocus City Hall, a prominent establishment under the Crocus Group, is owned by businessman and construction tycoon Aras Agalarov.

Following the attack, Agalarov and his son Emin convened an urgent meeting with security personnel and management at the venue.

The Crocus Group, headed by Agalarov, is renowned as one of Russia’s largest construction firms and has secured government contracts for significant projects, including World Cup stadiums and sections of Moscow’s Central Ring Road.

Aras Agalarov, an Azerbaijani-born billionaire and real estate mogul based in Moscow, gained international attention when he met Donald Trump in 2013 while sponsoring the Miss Universe pageant in Moscow.

Correspondence revealed by Donald Trump Jr. indicates that Agalarov sought to arrange a meeting between members of the Trump campaign and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya in June 2016.

According to Russia 24 state media, the roof of the venue has partially collapsed due to the attack. The incident occurred just before the music group Picnic was scheduled to perform, as reported by Russia 24.

The band’s manager, speaking to state media, confirmed that the performers were unharmed.

The Russia Prosecutor General’s Office stated, as reported by TASS, that “Unidentified individuals in camouflage attire forcibly entered Crocus City Hall and initiated gunfire prior to the commencement of the concert.

Regional governor Andrey Vorobyov assured that all efforts were being made to rescue individuals.

A SWAT team was dispatched to the location, with over 70 ambulance teams and medical professionals aiding the victims. TASS reported that approximately 100 individuals were evacuated from the premises by firefighters.

Rescue operations are ongoing, with efforts focused on retrieving individuals from the roof, as stated by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.
