SEA OWL is actively available for charter in several cruising destinations.

The luxury motor yacht SEA OWL was built by Feadship and delivered to her owner in 2013.

The exterior of SEA OWL is designed by Winch Design.

The 203ft / 62m SEA OWL has been constructed with a steel hull and is powered by 2x MTU engines with a cruising speed of 15 knots and a top speed of 16 knots.

Charter guest accommodation

SEA OWL has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 charter guests in 6 suites.

The guest cabins comprise a primary suite with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom facilities, 3 cabins with a double bed and en-suite bathroom facilities and 2 cabins with a twin bed and en-suite bathroom facilities.

Your luxury charter on board motor yacht SEA OWL will be managed by the crew of 18 including the captain.

The crew will ensure you have a relaxed and enjoyable charter experience with all of your needs catered for while on board.

The 18 crew have their own separate crew quarters allowing guests to enjoy increased levels of privacy.

Inspired by literature, both fictional and not, SEA OWL offers a myriad of unique details that set her apart from all other yachts. Fairytale-inspired elements accentuate her walls while replicas of maps adorn ceilings; her bookshelves are lined with prose that comes to life as you move through the yacht.

The incredible Tree of Life wraps around the central staircase from top to bottom and is a custom, hand-carved Brazilian Mahogany masterpiece with never-ending details to delight the eyes. This creative interior décor even extends to the custom painted elevator accessing every deck of the yacht. Every room is a distinct treat, which in total represents one of the most highly customized and most expensive Feadships ever built in the size range.

This Feadship’s comfortable full-beam main salon is decorated in light neutral colors and features sumptuous furnishings. Flanked by windows and featuring fully opening sliding glass doors aft, natural light floods the space and offers guests impressive views. SEA OWL’s dining area features a large round dining table that sits under a stunning Dale Chihuly Venetian glass chandelier with a beautiful muraled backdrop. After celebrating her debut at the recent Palm Beach International Boat Show , the 62m (203ft) yacht SEA OWL is now being made available for charter for the very first time around the turquoise waters of the Caribbean and Bahamas .

Built in 2013 by the esteemed German yard, in collaboration with British designers Winch Studio, who are responsible for both her distinctive exterior and interior styling - motor yacht SEA OWL showcases pedigree Feadship craftsmanship, alongside a unique and luxurious aesthetic that draws inspiration from literature. 

She provides accommodation for 12 guests across seven individually themed suites, including a full beam master stateroom with a dedicated office showcasing a beautiful replica 18th century French desk and world map ceiling fresco.

Highlights include an exquisitely crafted Brazilian mahogany Tree of Life masterpiece that encircles the central staircase, custom-painted trompe l'oeil elevator that connects every deck level, a generous top deck with a semi-enclosed area amidships featuring a dining salon, with a sun-drenched spa pool further forward, as well as a well-equipped gymnasium and premium wellness facilities.

She also plays host to an array of water sports toys and accessories, as well as a dynamic positioning system that allows for virtual anchoring around delicate marine environments and reefs. Additionally, the yacht is designed for optimal safety, quietness, security and connectivity, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious cruising experience for your private yacht charter .

Having experience in freelance and delivery work has allowed Michael to grow his experience and knowledge on a variety of boat builds and familiarize himself with different systems. Michael is extremely competent in yacht mechanics and electrical, international shipping and receiving, itinerary planning and all over maintenance, care and management. He has received extensive training and experience in Marine Environment and sailed throughout the world being blessed to visit more than 100 different countries, thousands of islands, and meet many amazing people from all over the planet along the way. He has had the opportunity to live in Japan, Europe, and now calls South Florida his permanent home. It has been a truly epic adventure and Michael looks forward to continuing it on board SEA OWL! Delivered in 2013 by renowned yacht builder Feadship, Sea Owl is a testament to the exemplary capabilities of her visionary owners, her meticulous builder and her famed designer.  Winch Designs is responsible for the exceptional design of both the interior and exterior of the yacht.

Inspired by literature, Sea Owl offers a myriad of unique details that set her apart from all other yachts.  Her bookshelves are lined with prose that comes to life as you move through the yacht; handcrafted details accentuate her walls, while replicas of maps adorn ceilings.

The incredible Tree of Life, which wraps around the central staircase from top to bottom, is a custom, hand carved Brazilian Mahogany masterpiece with never-ending details to delight the eyes.  This creative interior decor even extends to the custom painted tromp l’oeil elevator accessing every deck of the yacht.  Each room is a distinct treat, which combines to represent one of the most highly customized and expensive Feadships ever built in the size range.

This Feadship’s spacious, full-beam main salon is both inviting and elegant, decorated in light, neutral colors and complete with a warm and welcoming fireplace.  With fully opening glass doors aft, and enormous windows on both sides, natural light floods the space allowing guests to sit back, relax and take in the passing landscapes.  

Sea Owl’s impressive dining area features a large custom pietre dure table under a stunning Dale Chihuly Venetian glass chandelier with a beautiful, hand-painted mural backdrop.

Seven state rooms welcome up to 14 guests and feature a variety of themes from masquerade balls to pirate tales.  The superyacht’s master stateroom, on the main deck is a massive space that takes advantage of the full 40-foot beam (12m), including a large office with an custom replica of an 18th century French desk.  Sea Owl’s other six guest staterooms are on the lower deck, two of which are ideally suited for children or grandchildren and can be joined together as one large bunk room.  Three VIP suites all feature unique themes to encourage guests to enjoy the fantasy.  There is also an additional cabin ideally suited for nannies, extra staff, family or friends.

The superyacht’s bridge deck is a warm, welcoming family hub, with a full-beam sky-lounge/movie theater, a large gym with adjoining massage room, and a classroom for learning at sea.  Both the classroom and the gym have fold-out balconies.  The classroom is also equipped with a hidden Murphy bed.

From tranquil, alfresco dining, to sunbathing and swimming, or barbecuing with the game on one of the pop-up televisions, the Sea Owl’s incredible deck spaces were perfectly planned for enjoying life on the water.

Two custom Hodgdon tenders, 28-foot (8.6m) and 27-foot (8.4m), are discreetly hidden in the forward garage bays and launched through two gull-wing doors. On the foredeck, is a smaller 17-foot (5.2m) RIB.  Yacht toys can be accessed via the fold-down swim platform and lazarette area that provides excellent water access and can also be setup as a waterside beach club.

I realize that Moscow is on the Volga River, which connects to the Caspian Sea, but I’m wondering how foreign vessels can reach it? Or do foreign travel companies just buy a yacht that’s already "in the system"?

From the Caspian Sea, Gary, yachts come up the Volga then on to the Oka River and enter a tributary call the Moskva ("Moscow" in Russian) River. Alternate route is Volga to man-made Moscow Canal (which connects Volga to Moskva River). The big superyachts can’t get into the city limits because the river is only 3 inches deep. Just outside of the city, however, the water is 6 meters deep, perfect for large yachts. Yacht passengers easily travel into the city by limousine. (I imagine thoughts of hovercrafts, etc are a consideration for someday…) James Bond, anyone?

The Moscow Boat Show 2018 took place from the 1st to the 3rd of June, 2018

Moscow Yacht Show 2018 , organized in the best yacht club of the Russian capital Royal Yacht Club, finished successfully. Despite the changeable weather from June 1 to 3 all three days of the exhibition were filled with events.
