Solaris 68 RS

Much like her smaller sister ship, the Solaris 68 RS represents an extremely innovative yacht in the performance bluewater cruising world, featuring a raised saloon with 360-degree windows for better panoramic views and a forward full galley adjacent to the saloon. A spacious bright and social space ideal for entertaining. With the raised saloon you have have the added benefit of a central engine room also housing the yachts services. The increase in size however does undoubtedly add to her comfort, capability and offers a greater flexibility with the interior layouts the addition of a fourth cabin offering potential of accommodating up to eight guests or six with crew.

The sail handling area of the cockpit features a central plinth dedicated to the mainsheet and two side winches control lines are located within easy reach of the helm and the signature self-tacking jib makes her easily handled. Combined with the performance lines of the hull and twin rudders the yacht delivers sure footed and efficient passage making while remaining light and responsive on the helm.

The modern hull lines sport a wide stern with twin rudders and subtle dreadnought bow. The “T”-shaped keel offers two fixed draught options plus a lifting keel which does not intrude into the interior.

The tender garage accommodates a 3m tender with longitudinal access; this is achieved with minimal intrusion into the aft cabins while the transom also serves as an ample swim platform.

Again, with a choice of interior finishes – light oak, teak, washed and antiqued oak, the craftsmanship, attention to detail and quality throughout is as you would expect from Solaris Yachts.

Solaris 68 RS

Solaris 68 RS is the perfect yacht for bluewater cruising. Like her smaller sister ship, she is extremely innovative with unbeatable performance both above and below deck. This yacht is the result of many years of experience from the design and construction of sailing yachts with a focus on long-distance sailing. With the raised saloon in combination with 360-degree panoramic windows, you get a spacious, bright and perfect social space. The slightly longer hull contributes to her fine comfort and gives you several different flexible interior options and solutions to meet all yacht owners’ requirements.

The Solaris shipyard, together with the designer Javier Soto Acebal, has created a yacht that will take you safely across the great seas without restrictions. The wide stern with its two steering wheels gives the helmsman a full overview and can easily handle navigation and sail handling. Twin rudders in combination with the self-tacking jib provide unbeatable control while she feels light and sensitive at the helm. The deck layout is optimized to create a simple and relaxed life on board, both for crew and guests.

The modern hull with its wide stern creates new opportunities for innovative solutions. The transom hides both a tender garage and, in the lowered position, a lovely bathing platform. Solaris 68 RS comes with a deep T-shaped keel for maximum performance, a shallower alternative and a lifting keel are also on the option list.

The owner’s cabin is located in the bow and is offered with two different layouts, midships double bed like her smaller sisters or offset double bed with toilet and shower forward. In addition to your private space, the hull provides space for 2 double cabins and a crew berth. The detailed finish and material selection onboard a Solaris is of an incredibly high level. SOLARIS 68: A PEARL NESTLED IN THE BAY OF CANNES

Probably one among the most expected world premières at Cannes Yachting Festival , the last creation of the Aquileia-based shipyard doesn’t live up to expectations. The Solaris 68 , designed by Javier Soto Acebal,  is simply beautiful . The use of this adverb is actually appropriate in this case since the hard work of designing and manufacturing has resulted into an elegant boat with very clean lines , equipped with a deck where every rigging disappears under the floor and any equipment is part of a perfect harmonious play.

We’ve visited the Solaris 68 this morning before other visitors crowded her and we’ve seized the opportunity to admire the majesty of her large unencumbered deck . This characteristic is admirable both for those looking for large relaxation areas on board and crew members involved in the maneuvers inside the cockpit. The latter is ideally split into two different areas: a zone, which stretches from the transom to the lateral sides of the boat where two winches are positioned on each side, is exclusively dedicated to maneuvers ; a second one, on the contrary, is an elegant space furnished with a central dinner table and side sofas designed for guests.

The Solaris Yachts 68 is a boat designed for off-shore navigations and long-range cruises, built according to some specific standards dictated by a shipyard that has always paid particular attention to the sturdiness of its boats. It is no coincidence that this boat features a fiberglass hull and carbon fiber mast, deck and stays.

The result is a boat with an overall length of 20.80 metres and a displacement of 29 thousand kg – 10 thousand of which come from the keel.

Furthermore, the owner of this model has decided to equip his boat with a single rudder blade instead of the twin ones envisaged by the shipyard. As already mentioned above, the deck is completely unencumbered and all riggings disappear under the mast basis below the teak flooring. A series of wall portholes contribute to give this sensation of extreme order.

The sailing plan measures 264 square metres and includes white sails, a lifting stay sail and two running backstays.

Spaciousness and elegance are the key players of interior spaces . First of all, the Italian boat manufacturer has selected refined materials for the construction of its latest creation, including precious walnut whose natural grains contribute to create a very harmonious play of lines.

All spaces are flooded with a great amount of natural light. Interiors include three cabins . More specifically, the master cabin, positioned in the forward section, is very large and equipped with an en-suite bathroom. The other two ones, on the contrary, are located in the stern, equally equipped with en-suite bathrooms.

A large dinette furnished with two wall sofas and a dinner table alongside a functional fully-equipped galley positioned in the forward section and a crew cabin complete the interior arrangement.

Finally, an element of great interest is the raised level where the dinner is located . This is a solution that, despite the presence of some steps to enter the fore and astern sleeping quarters, has a double function. First of all, a technical function: under the flooring, in fact, a large locker has been created to accommodate all boat’s systems , the shaft-drive engine, the generator and the water and fuel tanks. The second function is more aesthetical, since the greater height of the floor offers an excellent visibility.

Solaris Yachts

The company Solaris Yachts has a long history of both the production of new yachts and the repair/refit of yachts. The shipyard opened its gates in 1974 – in Aquileia, at the top of the Venetian lagoon, an area well known for its boatbuilding traditions. In their modern production facilities, right next to the water, you have the opportunity to test sail your magic carpet of choice.

For more than 40 years, they have produced very fine performance yachts and now their models range from 40ft to 111ft. The yachts are characterised by innovative design, very high construction quality and of course, their stylish finish. The Solaris Design Team has had great success and in collaboration with Javier Soto Acebal, designed today’s fleet of yachts. Solaris Yachts is considered one of the most prestigious yards in the world and at a recent Boat International World Superyacht Awards – they won a prize for their latest superyacht – the Solaris 111 RS.

The success of Solaris Yachts has mainly come thanks to its brilliant construction philosophy – a combination of technology, strength and traditional manufacturing. Each Solaris yacht has a 40mm composite main bulkhead, the bulkhead is laminated on both sides to the hull and deck. Longitudinal and transverse beams are laminated to the hull. The keels on all models have a wide keel plate for optimal power transmission and power distribution through the 30mm coarse steel bolts that connect the keel to the hull. The yachts are very strong and built with the best components and material choices. The high quality means that a Solaris yacht retains a high resale value and above all, trouble-free sailing pleasure for you as the owner.

When stepping aboard, the first thing you will notice is the design of all Solaris models, but it is only when you get out on the water that you really understand the benefits of a Solaris. The yachts are designed and constructed so that you, perhaps with a small crew, can get the most out of your sailing. A large open cockpit provides an overview of the entire yacht, and winches and sheets are within easy reach. All models are delivered with self-tacking foresail for easy and safe sail handling, and in combination with an integrated bowsprit for gennakers, this will be an unbeatable combination even on the regatta circuit.

The Solaris 40 was a brand new model in 2021 and she packs all the punch, looks and of course, comfort of her bigger sisters. The main idea behind the Solaris 40 was to incorporate the latest advances along with keeping the stylish Solaris lines - which Javier Soto Acebal has created throughout the whole Solaris fleet.

The Solaris 44 saw its debut at the 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival and has proved to be a very popular yacht. Over 30 have been built and their popularity continues. The hull shape and design of the Solaris 44 was first seen on the Solaris 55 with the now trademark Solaris soft chine and carrying her full beam aft to the transom. Her twin rudders provide great grip on the water and of course, the outboard twin helms allow for fantastic visibility down the decks. Her sailing performance speaks for itself and she is perfectly balanced at sea.

With over 60 Solaris 50s sold since her introduction, it was a tall request for Javier Soto Acebal to improve on this popular size with additional refinements. He has delivered however with the ‘new’ Solaris 50, launched April 2022. Even more sparkling performance that is easily manageable, with increased stability, and a clean uncluttered striking style. The integral transom tender garage and improved layout down below takes this new 50 to an unbelievable next level of design.

A long 14 months in the design office eventually came the spectacular Solaris 55. Every detail was reviewed and fine-tuned to ensure she became a benchmark 16m yacht, in regards to her looks, capabilities and performance. As with her sisters she also carries her maximum beam aft a design feature which is now seen most commonly on a large number of ocean racing yachts. She has a high stability ratio and righting moment ballast to weight ratio of more than 40% created by her T keel with lead bulb and cast iron fin available with a 3m draft or optional shallower 2.7m.

Freshly launched in 2020 to create a yacht that will set the precedent for the future of performance cruising yachts. The aim was to create a Mini-Maxi which means the yacht must be no longer than 18.31m allowing her to take part in Mini-Maxi racing. Including the prestigious Mini-Maxi Cup which takes place in the fabulous Porto Cervo every year. The Solaris 60 is the ultimate yacht for the family yachtsman who also wants to do a spot of enjoyable racing.

Solaris 64 RS

Solaris 64 RS is one of the newer models from the drawing board of Javier Soto Acebal and hull number one launched in 2019. She is an extremely innovative yacht in the bluewater-cruising segment. The RS models have a bright saloon with large windows that provide an unbeatable panoramic view. The elevated saloon creates space for a central engine room where all service systems are gathered, well insulated so that the two aft cabins are not disturbed. The layout of the foreship is really innovative where she can be specified with two different solutions, a large sail locker or furnished for a crew cabin with its own head.

Created for extended bluewater cruising in comfort while still being under 24m. The Solaris 80 RS design has been incredibly well thought through and there are 2 very different options for the interior layout - with either the owner’s cabin forward or aft which is a rare find. Whichever is your preference, she still boasts 4 cabins plus great crew accommodation which is positioned forward or aft depending on your layout choice.

Solaris 111 SY

Solaris 111 SY - hull no.1 was launched in 2020 but made her public debut at the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show and she was incredibly well received. Built at the request of past Solaris owners, she is a beautiful yacht. At this size, the yacht is very much semi-custom so can therefore be adapted to meet your needs. The 68’ One Shot was built by Solaris Yachts , an Italian yard very experienced in the construction of sailing yachts for long-range cruising. The project has been conceived by Javier Soto Acebal , one of the most famous naval architects. The light layout allows an exceptionally fast and smooth navigation, without compromising in terms of space, comfort and safety. One Shot features carbon deck, mast and rigs, and a nice raised salon. The new model Solaris 40 – Our objective was to develop a new 40’ yacht incorporating the very latest innovations, whilst preserving the design flair of Javier Soto Acebal. 

This is how the Solaris 40 was born, with numerous evolutions that distinguish this new project, in both hull performance and comfort at sea

The Solaris 44 ‘represents the new benchmark on the market. It is the only 13.5 m designed and built for fast cruising with a small crew, thanks to the distribution of maneuvers on only 2 winches within reach of the helmsman. Double use cruising / regatta is not excluded by opting for the completely recessed mainsail and winches on the paramar for asymmetrical spinnaker use.

With the 47 Solaris once again redefines the standards of the market, it is in fact the first and currently the only model of this size that offers all the tricks and innovations aimed at a real use of the high performance boat even with a small crew: self-tacking rail recessed below deck; only 2 winches in the helmsman area from which it is possible to manage all the maneuvers.

After the success of the 48 ‘ presented in 2006 and still considered today by everyone, owners and designers, a point of reference in terms of aesthetic and functional solutions, Solaris renews its challenge to the 15-meter segment with the responsibility of proposing a new a model that can repeat the success of the 48 which, in its 8 years of presence on the market, has met the favor not only of European but also Asian owners

The Solaris 55 was created to satisfy the most demanding owners who require high-performance navigation even with a small crew. 

The shipyard’s design studio and naval architect Javier Soto Acebal worked for fourteen months on fine-tuning down to the smallest detail of this project which today represents the reference point both aesthetically and functionally in the 16-meter segment.

In 2020 the first Solaris 60 went into the water, a model that will mark the way the boat is built and conceived and will influence nautical design for the next ten years.

The Solaris 60 was born with the idea of giving life to a Mini-Maxi, that is a high performance sailing boat, with an overall length of 18.31 meters. This length allows you to participate in offshore regattas, in the Mini-Maxi class

Solaris 72 C

The Solaris 72 Classic is brimming with innovative solutions including a newly developed lifting keel, a high modulus carbon mast with integrated magic trim in the Park Avenue boom. The rigging is in carbon with the powerful rig and waterlines designed by Javier Soto Acebal.

 The set up and the appearance are classic, that’s why the Solaris 72 yacht has the “Classic” designation.

Solaris 64 RS

This Solaris 64 RS is born from the pencil of Soto Acebal. 

The Solaris 64 RS represents an extremely innovative yacht in the world of fast cruising boats, characterized by the raised saloon that brings the glasses and the 360 ° view and allows you to have an engine room and an engine amidships with the aft cabins without the systems that create noise.

Solaris 68 RS

The new Solaris 68 represents a synthesis of the experience accumulated by the shipyard in the design and construction of yachts for long-range navigation. 

The choice of concentrating the engine room, engine, tanks and systems under the dinette ensures optimal comfort on board even with a high performance hull. Different internal layouts are designed to adapt to the needs of each owner. The deck layout ensures use even with a small crew in all sea conditions.

Solaris 74 RS

Another part of our history is renewed, the Solaris 74 RS is born. Over time, the design and evolution of our hulls of about 22 meters has marked the Solaris shipyard: innovative and increasingly performing models have followed one another. 

Each Solaris yacht has reached such requirements as to satisfy the needs and aspirations of its owner, with true oceanic offshore navigation up to use in easy sailing.

Solaris 80 RS

he Solaris 80 RS is a boat designed for long and real boat cruises. The spaces above and below deck take on significant importance. 

Particular is the dinette, unique in terms of space. Below is the engine room, while above, thanks to the round glasses, ideal for those who intend to live both indoors and outdoors, the light enters and makes the environment shine. 

Solaris 111 RS

The 111-foot-long Solaris 111 was designed the shipyard’s in-house naval architect Javier Soto Acebal. His brief was to design a hull for racing performance as well as cruising comfort and safety.

The emphasis lies on efficiency without sacrificing comfort, seakeeping, and speed with harmonious hull lines rather than trendy ideas. The lifting fin-keel and bulb allow easier access to shallower waters.
