Welcome to the dartmouth yacht club membership site on webcollect. on this site new members can apply to join the club and existing members can pay their subscriptions..

The Club welcomes applications for membership from anyone with an interest in sailing, canoeing, paddlesports, motor boating or any other waterborne activity.  Both boat owners and those without boats are very welcome. 

Applications are equally welcomed from anyone who wishes to join as a social member of the club

Dartmouth Yacht Club was founded in 1950 as the Dartmouth Sailing Club, Our present building had been constructed at the turn of the century for the Channel Coaling Company, whose brass plaque is displayed over the bar.On their demise it was leased to the Club and the new Clubhouse was formally opened in December 1954.

In 1965 with the help of member\'s loans the freehold was purchased outright and in 1974 the Club changed its name to the Dartmouth Yacht Club. Our local waters are recognised as one of the premier sailing areas on the South coast of England. The clubroom provide a panoramic view of the busy, working harbour of Dartmouth and the beautiful River Dart. The Dartmouth Yacht Club is accessible at all states of the tide. The Club offers an excellent venue for social and competitive sailing events.

We are able to offer visiting and cruising yachtsmen the facilities of hot showers whilst a friendly greeting is assured at our bar and restaurant. Members, and visitors, may enjoy a full season of yacht racing and events whilst \'non-sailors\' can enjoy a full and active social diary.

New Hampshire's Mascoma Lake is home to the Dartmouth Yacht Club.

Summer 2024 Season

The Dartmouth Yacht club will open on a full-time basis beginning Saturday, June 10, 2023 and will operate through Sunday, August 13, 2023. The Dartmouth Yacht Club will be closing 3 weeks early to allow for upgrades to the club .  The hours of operation will be from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

All boats (including privately owned) must be off the water one-hour prior to sunset. For your protection, the facilities are to be used only during posted dates and hours of operation.

Facilities & Equipment

Our summer sailing fleet consists of: 3 - Rhodes 19', 12 - Lasers and 6 - FJ's. These boats are available to the members who are "Skipper Qualified" without a fee.

A beautiful secluded beach, gradual drop-off swim space, BBQ grills, picnic area, instructional programs, and changing/restroom facilities round out the amenities. A friendly, casual atmosphere is enhanced by the breathtaking sunsets over the Lake. We request that you make your summer plans early and return the attached application as soon as possible.

Information about  2023 Laser Racing

Sailboat Moorings and On Site Boat Storage

Moorings and dryland storage for personally owned sail boats will again be available this year. You must provide a signed storage agreement prior to bringing any equipment to the facility. Owners may lease a mooring from the club for $80 per season, with spring and fall maintenance included. Requests for lease moorings should be received no later than May 1st. All boats must display NH registration prior to launching. Personally owned boats must be removed from the facility no later than noon on Saturday, August 12, 2023.
