She was designed by Luca Bassani Design (36 other superyachts designed) and Wally (39 other superyachts designed).

The naval architecture was developed by Bill Tripp , who has architected 15 other superyachts in the BOAT Pro database, and the interior of the yacht was designed by Odile Decq - she is built with a Carbon Fibre and Teak deck, a Carbon Fibre hull, and Carbon Fibre superstructure.

ESENSE is in the top 30% by LOA in the world. She is one of 136 sailing yachts in the 40-45m size range, and, compared to similarly sized sailing yachts, her cruising speed is 1.47 kn above the average, and her top speed 1.61 kn above the average.

Sailing Yacht ESENSE received her elegant interior designing from the interior design office of Odile Decq. Built at Wally this vessel was constructed in the known yacht building country Italy. She was officially launched in Fano in 2006 before being transferred to the owner. A fairly large feeling is manifested with a maximum beam (width) of 8.57 metres / 28.1 feet. With a 6m (19.8ft) draught (maximum depth) she is 6 (19.8 ft). The material composite was used in the building of the hull of the sailing yacht. The yacht sustains a single quality CATERPILLAR diesel engine(s) and can drive at a impressive top end continuous speed at 14 knots. The main engine of the ESENSE gives 550 horse power (or 410 kilowatts). Her total HP is 550 HP and her total Kilowatts are 410. Coupled to the ESENSE engines are a single screw propeller servogear. With respect to bow thruster maneuverability she was built with Maxpower Retractable.

Esense has a radical design. Wally typical: No deck house appears on her flush deck and only the bare necessities. That makes her the biggest keel jolly-boat in the world. In German, we would say: Die wohl größte Kieljolle der Welt.

Her exterior lines were designed by Wally in-house by the visionary founder Luca Bassani. The naval architecture work was done by Tripp Design . Her Hall Spars rig carries a sail area of 836 m².

Clean interior design on ESENSE

The interior was created by Odile Decq  from France. She gave her very modern lines compatible with her exterior design. Esense can accommodate 8 guests and a crew of 6 on cruising tours. She has three guest cabins which can be opened to the saloon. Table and seats are available for people of 10 – 12.

It's hard to think of a 143-foot mega yacht as minimalist, but the Wally Esense has taken that exact approach. The Esense isn't nearly as extravagant or flashy as some of the other superyachts we've posted, but it presents its beauty through a clean wooden deck, simple pool area, and white, airy cabin. Esense, is a high performance cruising yacht that has definitively decreed the affirmation and validity of the simplified esthetics used by wally to create innovative, modern, elegant and unmistakable exteriors of its yachts., in truth, the wally esthetics was born initially to hide all the maneuvering devices on deck that can be dangerous especially if there are children among the guests that’s why the bridges of wally boats are free dishes aesthetically beautiful to see., over the years, wally has continued with its innovations, experimenting with new forms and functions, never neglecting the overall aesthetic beauty of the structure of its yachts., luca bassani, creator, founder and president of wally built esense tailored to achieve a private dream. the yacht is 43, 70 meters long was launched in 2006 but still today is one of the most exceptional sailing boats that sail our seas., unmistakable for its graceful modern and elegant lines a 143-foot sloop that can be managed by a very limited number of crew., the blanket that, as luca bassani says, “is the great novelty of this boat” has a huge space, the teak deck completely satin and free from everything there are no wells, no accessories and not even a sight-mounted chute for the helms an immense flush deck., in place of the side rail, the deck is surrounded by a particular 60-80 cm high battened area, like the large At the Japan International Boat Show 2024, Lexus unveiled the 1/20 scale model of its new LY680 Luxury Yacht , an upgrade of the previous LY650 water vehicle . Lexus’ latest model comes with an expanded swimming platform and flybridge to accommodate more guests on deck. The extended flybridge, which measures 1,400mm, now features a spacious lounge area and a dedicated barbecue grill, while the swimming platform has been expanded by 700mm to accommodate additional guests who wish to take a dip in the sea.

When Lexus conceived the idea for its LY680 Luxury Yacht, even before its debut at the Japan International Boat Show 2024 , the design team aimed to create a water vehicle that would feel like a ‘tranquil hideaway at sea.’ They imagined it as a moving space where ‘discerning customers could feel free and at ease.’ The resulting concept was a three-level luxury yacht equipped with living spaces that make the LY680 feel like a deluxe apartment on the sea.

The passengers enter the Lexus’ LY680 Luxury Yacht, and when they descend, they can find a kidney-shaped sofa nestled in one corner. Adjacent to the sofa is a desk with a plush seat, tailored as a workspace at sea for those who still need to hustle. Panoramic windows adorn the space, offering views of the waters and allowing natural light to flood in. During the Japan International Boat Show 2024, where yacht enthusiasts could view the 1/20 scale model of the LY680, Lexus revealed that the luxury yacht can accommodate up to 15 passengers across three rooms with six beds.

Twin Volvo engines for Lexus’ LY680 Luxury Yacht

For those interested in specifications, Lexus’ LY680 Luxury Yacht is expected to be equipped with Twin Volvo IPS 1350/1050 engines and have a fuel tank capacity of 4,012 liters and a fresh water tank capacity of 852 liters. Production of the luxury yacht will be carried out by the Horizon Group, based on the Toyota Production System. Lexus has announced that yacht enthusiasts can reserve their water vehicle model through Toyota Marine sales offices in Japan and select dealerships. As of publishing, Lexus aims to deliver the first batch of the LY680 Luxury Yacht in Spring 2026, with international availability pending based on customer demand.
