M4 is a 33.01 m Motor Yacht, built in Turkey by RMK Marine and delivered in 2002. She is the only Peer Gynt 108 model.

Her top speed is 14.0 kn and her cruising speed is 12.5 kn and her power comes from two Caterpillar diesel engines. She can accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 staterooms, with 5 crew members waiting on their every need. She has a gross tonnage of 252.0 GT and a 8.53 m beam.

She was designed by Kevin M. Kerwin .

The naval architecture was developed by Stephen R. Seaton , who has architected 8 other superyachts in the BOAT Pro database, and the interior of the yacht was designed by Selldorf - she is built with a Teak deck, a Steel hull, and Aluminium and GRP superstructure.

M4 is one of 2070 motor yachts in the 30-35m size range, and, compared to similarly sized motor yachts, her volume is 65.94 GT above the average.

M4 is currently sailing under the United Kingdom flag, the 4th most popular flag state for superyachts with a total of 899 yachts registered. Built in 1999 with a 2013 refit, she accommodates up to 9 guests, and has 2 lavish master staterooms – one is located amidships on the lower deck, and the other is forward on the main deck. With a strong charter history, M4 underwent an extensive refit in 2013 after having been originally delivered in 1999. She has a wide beam of 27.98’ (8.53m), and a shallow draft of 7.22’ (2.2m), allowing her to visit shallow-water cruising grounds such as those in the Bahamas.

Representing her owner for the second time, we offer the M4 yacht for sale with two master staterooms, a strong charter history, and a unique layout that has the space of much larger yachts.

The M4 yacht for sale was initially styled by yacht designer Elizabeth Dalton, but in her refit, she was updated by the yacht designers at VM Design. Neutral tones and warm wood create a serene, yet lux environment. She has expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing maximum natural light indoors. Her main salon features comfortable soft furnishings with pops of orange, as well as rich decorative accents such as marble, and textured fabrics.

Built of a composite FRP hull and superstructure, the M4 yacht for sale was styled by exterior yacht designer Wesley Carr. She has well-planned outdoor deck spaces, which provide a multitude of areas for relaxation and entertainment. M4 includes a 36’ (11m) tender with a double stateroom, as well as a large swim platform and a host of water toys.

Twin Caterpillar engines provide a cruising speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 11 knots; she is built to MCA standards.

Explore the East Coast of the USA aboard the 40m Trident motor yacht M4 between July 15 th until the 22 nd and enjoy a special reduced charter rate. Launched in 1999 and refitted in 2013, VM Design is responsible for the yacht’s interior styling while her naval architecture is the work of Wesley Carr. There are 4 cabins, for up to 8 guests, including an on-deck master stateroom and 3 suites on the lower level.

Her interior décor is contemporary and exceptionally spacious, boasting 7’ ceilings, large windows for great natural light, warm woods and neutral soft goods, which create a relaxing ambience to unwind or entertain with family and friends.

On the main level is a generous salon aft, followed by a formal dining area. Further forward is the full beam master stateroom. The upper deck lounge features a sumptuous seating arrangement, cocktail bar and games table. On the lower deck is a full beam VIP suite, 1 double and 1 twin cabin.

M4 has plenty of outdoor living, sprawled across her 3 decks. On the main level is a shaded alfresco dining area, which is adjacent to the salon through doors. Payne: Sailing the screen-tastic Lincoln Nautilus land yacht

Palm Springs — Welcome to the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus. Call it the Lincoln Not-like-any-cabin-you’ve-seen-before.

A handsome, high-definition 48-inch screen wraps the front cabin from A-pillar to A-pillar. Like the twin screen sitting on your office desktop, its expanded space allows you to run multiple applications. Which means you can keep your eyes on the road while scanning information including speed, navigation map, Sirius XM channels, range and more.

Cruising hands-free in Blue Cruise down Interstate 10, I rested my hands on my knees and settled back in the comfy leather thrones. Ahhh, a comfortable day at the office.

With its emphasis on quiet luxury (current slogan: “Power of Sanctuary”), Lincoln has been about comfortable cabins rather than carving corners. Let Bimmer, Alfa and Caddy fly around Nürburgring setting lap records, Lincoln wants to fly you First Class. Now, with its Lincoln Digital Experience, the brand has created a high-tech environment to rival other transformative interiors from Tesla Model S, Mercedes EQS and Cadillac Lyriq.

I first saw a pillar-to-pillar design on the Byton M-Byte, a Chinese electric vehicle, at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. It was a showstopper. Byton promised its 48-inch jumbotron would come to market in 2020. Didn’t happen.

With Nautilus, this is Lincoln’s chance to shine. At a dealer in North Miami Beach recently, I heard audible gasps from customers as they opened the Nautilus doors. I haven’t seen butts jump into seats so fast since the Model S screen wowed at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show.

Tesla opened boutique stores at high-end malls (think Somerset) across the country so casual shoppers could try on their interiors as easily as fitting pants at J.McLaughlin. Lincoln, which has dabbled in the boutique store market, should do the same.

The 48-inch display works as well in practice as it looks. Like a TV screen paired with remote control, the touchless jumbotron is controlled via a console-mounted 11-inch tablet. Lincoln’s native navi system is run by Google — like Android Auto — and either can be used in the panoramic display’s center.

“Hey, Google, navigate to Idyllwild,” I barked, and the route populated the command tablet and megascreen. I gripped the wheel and eased into Palm Springs traffic for my trip to the San Jacinto Mountains.

The simple steering wheel (Tesla simple and square like a Corvette C8) is slick. It’s squared-off so as not to obstruct the megascreen. Like a head-up display, instrument and navigation information is always in your line of sight. The wheel’s simple interface is anchored by twin touchpads (Tesla uses scroll wheels): volume on the right, adaptive cruise control to the left. It shames over-engineered, button-infested wheels like Mercedes.

My instinct was to glance at the closer console pad for directions, but, with time, my eyes focused on the big screen. Its right half contains three more “pages,” which I filled with radio, trip information and clock. Want to change the selection to include tire pressure? Simply drag ‘n’ drop the icon on the command screen and — bingo! — it's mirrored on the megascreen. A muscular Qualcomm chip makes for smartphone-fast touch speeds, a key to Tesla’s early popularity.

Also like Tesla, the Lincoln system is so cool you forgive Nautilus its dissonate notes.

Lincoln’s engine lineup is weak compared to competitors like Genesis and Mercedes (more on that later). Blue Cruise drive assist is sketchy — turning off multiple times during my interstate test. And there’s a wonky Drive Mode button on the console that doesn’t actually control the modes — it just gives you access to them in the command screen. It’s an awkward process not unlike Tesla’s two-button chore to open the glovebox. Happily, most Lincoln drivers will rarely use SPORT mode. Nautilus is no BMW M4.

Like the Bimmer, however, Nautilus is gas-powered. Lincoln teased a Star Concept EV two years ago, but has resisted the Sirens’ call to full-electrification like other small premium brands. Instead of tearing up its playbook, Lincoln’s refining it.

Nautilus’s state-of-the-art interior is executed atop a familiar gas-powered drivetrain lineup. Customers (Nautilus is part of an SUV family including Corsair, Aviator and Navigator) prize the “utility” in sports utility vehicle for summer trips up north or out west.

For all of Tesla’s innovation, the Silicon Valley brand copied Lincoln’s electronic button transmission for its 2024 Model 3 Highland. Tesla’s shifter buttons, naturally, are in the screen, whereas Lincoln offers hard buttons on the console. I played them like piano keys, shifting the DRIVE button with my middle finger and the REVERSE button with my forefinger as I backed in and out of a parking space.

Once on the road, my hybrid turbo-4 cylinder purred along — a distant heartbeat from the hush-quiet cabin wrapped in acoustic glass and insulation. Despite the premium ride, the engine is Nautilus’s weak link.

The base 2.0-liter sounds like the Ford Escape egg-beater it’s shared with, and the hybrid lacks the visceral authority of a Detroit machine. Genesis, Acura, BMW — even Mazda’s premium CX-70/CX-90 — offer six-cylinder mills. Lincoln follows Lexus to hybrid fours, and it’s worth the $1,500 upcharge over the base engine. Coupled with a smooth CVT transmission, the battery provides good low-rev torque-fill to offset turbo lag.

Also worth the extra cents are the seven cabin scents on offer.

The electronic scent cartridges — standard Mystic Forest, Ozonic Azure, Violet Cashmere and additional Cloud Balsam, Serene Seashore, Twilight Embers and Sunlight Retreat — are loaded, three at a time, into a hidden chamber beneath the armrest. I hesitated at dispensing them, fearing my cabin would be doused in incense.

But the odors were mild and pleasant and complemented my refreshing interstate drive.

Passengers will enjoy the ride, too, as Nautilus offers best-in-class rear legroom (43.1 inches) and a giant panoramic roof so they can enjoy the treetops/sky/stars overhead. The hybrid’s 600-mile range will get you to Mackinaw City and back without ever having to stop at a gas station. Or, ahem, sit at an electric charger.

This rolling yacht is wrapped in a bold Lincoln exterior, including soft-squeeze, Packard-like door handles along the shoulder line. Mirroring the brand’s signature horizontal rear taillight, the front LED lamp now wraps ‘round the front. Lincoln also is hell on wheels (remember the turbine wheels on the Navigator?) and offers head-turning 22s that come with the Jet Package.

Big as it is, Nautilus sweats the little things.

Start with the door handles, then note the no-cap gas filler and double-pull hood tab under the dash so you don’t have to fish around the engine bay for the hood latch.

Buy it and you’ll be that guy giving neighbors interior tours.

How is it made unsinkable?

What is the construction material, why are the bows of each float not level with the bow of the principle hull.

Can it be capsized or pitchpoled?

Can it be righted if is does become capsized, are the amas for the magnum 21 the same as for the virusplus, would the amas (floats) be large enough to form a kataram for two, is there access to the inside of the amas, how long does it take to rig or derig, single-handing.

How about raising the mast?

The mast can be hauled into position by a single person using the purchase of the main sheet blocks provided that lateral movement is prevented by the use of temporary short shrouds attached to the rings that hold the floats on (see below). But even this is unecessary unless you have strong winds. I now lift the mast up in one movement on my own. I have the spinnaker halyard already attached to the bow and once the shrouds are tight I pull on the mast-foot-end of the halyard until it is tight. Then the mast is secure and I can attach the forestay via the jib furler at my leisure.

During mast erection or lowering a couple of short temporary shrouds will help stabilise the mast in windy conditions or when you are doing the job alone.

Note the use of the main sheet attached to the ring at the bow intended for the gennaker. This gives plenty of mechanical advantage and makes the job of raising or lowering the mast really easy.

Magnum 21S - 2005 year. Stored in barn in Sussex This boat has had a lot of upgrades / work done to make it easy to sail shorthanded. It is great for daysailing adventures with a real turn of speed. 12 knots is not uncommon... Upwind performance is good in flat water and she points much better than a Hobie cat or Dart. She can be also be pulled up on a beach.

Draft is 1.4m with centreboard down. Bothe the rudder and centerboard have breakaway cleats that pop up if you touch the bottom. This prevents any damage. With foils up she draws a few inches. Can be stored on the trailer, mooring or marina.

With practice, 2 people can rig the boat from trailer to sailing in under an hour. There are some good videos on line that give tips. She can easily be sailed singlehanded, including the Code Zero/furling gennaker. Unsinkable design with foam filled hull and armas. I have had a lot of fun with this boat in UK and Greece but selling as I now have a larger yacht.

• Specification • Repainted topsides (Toplac) and polished white areas. Needs re-waxing /polishing but paint good. • Full bespoke storage cover - covers main hull and trampolines with zip cut outs for mast and shrouds. Made from Sunbrella - high quality with zips etc. • New composite rudder (2016 from Virus) with spare wooden original (in VGC) • Reinforced trampolines in good condition plus a brand new spare set from Virus.

One of the trampoline rods is missing a plastic end cap - replaced with gaffer tape. • New halyards, trapeze lines and some new sheets (2016). • Upgraded kicker with clam cleat 2016. • New jib - made by Batt sails 2016 • Spare jib in decent condition • Mainsail with 2 reefing points. One small repair but sail in good condition • Fully battened Mainsail converted to track cars - much easier to hoist and lower.

• Jib chute with line to raise. Protects jib from UV • New mainsail cover (2016). Much easier to leave main rigged than removing main each outing. • Lazy jacks • Topping lift • Upgraded metal camcleats on mast and boom. Some are side entry for ease of use.

Plastic lam cleats replaced • Barely used asymmetric spinnaker with new Hyde snuffer (2016) • Code zero on continuous line furler. Works very well for short handed or higher winds reaching up to 65 deg apparent. * Extending bowsprit for spinnaker. Plastic bush on bow for Bowsprit is cracked and has repair to limit any water ingress. • Furling gennaker • New main block with ratchet and adjustable sheeting angle (much easier to handle in a blow) • Danforth style anchor with Anchor bag.

• Additional cleat and fairlead for stern mooring or anchoring • Masthead wind vane (installed 2016) • Coppercoat antifouling • Compass• GPS "speed puck" readout mounted at base of mast. • Trailer with new wheel bearings 2016. £500 spent. I am selling without outboard but have a 6hp 4 stroke Mercury outboard in good condition fresh from service that I could negotiate to include for additional price. I also have a 10 HP Honda 4 stroke that gives 10knots under power.

Vladimir Putin has reportedly ordered rolling energy blackouts across Moscow as temperatures reach - 22C. The blackouts are said to cover the entire metropolitan area of Russia's which has a total population of around 22 million. The order issued states that electricity is "not to exceed 12 hours per day" with the blackouts in place from January 14 through March 31 2024, according to Ukraine commentator Igor Sushko.

It comes after a heating main ruptured at the Klimovsk Specialised Ammunition Plant in Podolsk, about 30 miles south of central Moscow, on January 4. As a result, tens of thousands of Russians are said to be without heat in their homes in the Moscow region due to subzero temperatures.

According to a map published by a Russian Telegram channel and circulated on various social media platforms, the affected areas include cities such as Khimki, Balashikha, Lobnya, Lyubertsy, Podolsk, Chekhov, Naro-Fominsk, and Podolsk.

Residents in Moscow, specifically Balashikha, Elektrostal, Solnechnogorsk, Dmitrov, Domodedovo, Troitsk, Taldom, Orekhovo-Zuyevo, Krasnogorsk, Pushkino, Ramenskoye, Voskresensk, Losino-Petrovsky, and Selyatino, are also experiencing power outages, according to other Russian media reports.

Power outages have been reported in St. Petersburg, Rostov, Volgograd, Voronezh, and Primorsky. Meanwhile, a huge fire tore through a large warehouse used by Russia ’s largest online retailer south of St Petersburg on Saturday morning.

The blaze covered an area of 70,000 square meters, with 50,000 square meters of the Wildberries warehouse collapsing, according to Russia ’s Emergency Situations Ministry. No casualties were reported.

Videos posted to social media appeared to show employees running down fire escapes and fleeing the scene. A video shot from a passenger jet flying nearby showed flames totally engulfing the warehouse, sending huge plumes of smoke into the sky.
