The boat is a Stiletto 27 Special Edition Catamaran, designed to provide maximum sailing pleasure and performance over a wide range of wind and sea conditions. Made for adventure and racing, so it offers plenty of excitement and comfort for any occasion. The boat is outfitted with a 20hp motor, so if the wind isn't blowing we can still get out and play! Charter comes with a local captain to take you to all the local spots, while you sit back and relax.

Learn More About Our Catamaran Sailboat!

What's so great about a catamaran? A catamaran denotes a boat with two hulls or compartments that enable the vessel to displace water evenly on both sides. This design allows the catamaran to avoid rocking, as a traditional, single-hulled sailboat does. For folks on vacation--this point is a gold nugget--those that are not accustomed to boats tend to get seasick.

Why the double-hull design is a vacationers best boat friend:

Stable, non-rocking design . Why is this important? Because as the hull heaves so may your stomach.

Plenty of storage space with 2 hulls . And, if the kids fight, we can separate them.

Speed. The catamaran is twice as fast as a traditional sailboat. Save the monohull for the land turtles! (Sea turtles are fast too.)

Light footprint. A Stiletto can maneuver in shallow water due to a broader displacement of water across two lightweight hulls (Crab Island, here we come!)

Built for comfort. You aren't awkwardly lounging on a sloping deck like a monohull sailboat.

Maximized deck space. The catamaran has two opposing benches with cushions, as well as 80 square feet of trampoline for lounging and watching the waves.

Stiletto Catamaran

If you are thinking of chartering just any ol' catamaran, let me tell you why the Stiletto brand makes this boat even groovier:

Built light for speed. Although you may want to relax on your Destin sailing cruise, never forget, this cat has speed in its back pocket. The catamaran tops out at 25 knots (20 mph). In Destin, we can safely cruise at 15 knots with the jib (front sail) raised, and feel the power.

It will never sink . Aeronautic technology is utilized in its honey comb laminate that enables the material itself to float, not relying on the intact body of the vessel. So, no matter what the Florida waters bring, this puppy floats.

Versatility of design. You can beach it; you can trailor it. When was the last time you saw a monohull sailboat pulled up on the beach or roaming down the highway? This boat goes everywhere. But watch out, you might catch catamaran fever thinking of the possibilities of where you could take it!

You are cool by proxy. Riding in our Stiletto catamaran brings you closer to the lastest version of the Stiletto XF, the foiling catamaran that once it reaches 14 knots, raises up and rides on hydrofoils, appearing to hover 2 feet above the water!

The "Best Day Ever" Sailboat Cruise, 4-6 Hour Private Charter

At Captain Jambo's, We Know How To "Do" Destin.

Here is a write-up of a much loved itinerary that

may save you from being one of the many people

who ride into the dock thinking, "I wish I had

longer on the sailboat!"

The sails are set due south from Captain Jambo's

peaceful, scenic bay dock. With tummies full of

butterflies and expectations, we sail through the

glowing, emerald waves, under the Destin Bridge,

through the Destin Pass, and East and West Jetties to the magnificent Gulf of Mexico. Here, we look for bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles, and other marine life. We sail along Florida's beaches, marveling at the beauty of the water and sugar white beach. Next, the sails are set north, back through the Destin Pass to the world famous, Crab Island. This shallow, clear sandbar is a hot spot for Destin boaters' fun in the sun. Catch a margarita or some fish tacos at the festive Waterworld Restaurant and Bar. Play with the kids on the giant, inflatable waterpark. Just remember, no babysitting your pontoon boat, come and go as you please to check out the festivities, your captain will be happy to hold the anchor! After you've had your fill of Crab lsland, we sail to the nearby grassbeds for snorkeling. Crabs and fish abound here. You might even spot a majestic seahorse! Take our underwater Gro Pro camera to document your adventure! Next door is one of the few areas to find seashells in Destin, so take some souvenirs home from your hunt. When your pockets are full, we will set sails again for a relaxing sail through the calm waters of the Choctawhatchee Bay, watching the explosive

colors of the sunset on this

incredible sailing day.

Finally, we head back to

the dock from where our

adventure began. Now,

the sailboat sails away,

leaving you sun-kissed

and ocean-drunk with a

mind full of memories of

an amazing Destin sail.

Join Captain Pam for a day trip aboard our new Trimaran, Nice Tri. All her day trips offer the ability to swim, snorkel, look for dolphins or watch the sunset on the Gulf of Mexico in Destin, Florida. You can also choose to visit Crab Island. The place Captain Pam likes to snorkel is called the Grass Flats. It is a shallow area where you can disembark the Sailing Trimaran and be waist-deep in water to hunt for treasures. While snorkeling, some things you may find include seashells, hermit crabs, fish, shrimp, and occasional seahorse. Captain Pam allows you to take a hermit crab of your choice to the boat for a race before releasing it.

Snorkeling Tours

Snorkeling Adventures are fun for all ages, but we have a special treat for the older kids and grownups with the conditions right to travel into the Gulf of Mexico. Captain Pam loves to bring you sand dollar hunting. We get sand dollars on the second sandbar, where you can dive from ten to fifteen feet. You can keep two sand dollars per person. Captain Pam suggests a four-hour cruise so you will have plenty of time to explore.

See The Dolphins

The Gulf of Mexico hosts some pretty friendly Aquatic Mammals, like the Tursiops Truncatus or Bottle Nose Dolphin. These happy mammals are some of our best friends, and they love meeting new people. We have thirty-five to fifty local dolphins who love to interact with sailboats and passengers, and we get to see them on seventy-five percent of our cruises. So when we are fortunate enough to interact with them, they will follow as we sail along.

Party on Crab Island

The cool thing about Crab Island is it isn't an island. It's a sandbar on the bayside of the Destin pass where locals and tourists alike come to anchor their boats, party, swim, or walk to one of the floating restaurant shacks to grab a drink or a bite to eat. You are welcome to bring your cooler with drinks and snacks, no glass, please. Crab Island is fun for all ages; it has ice cream boats, shore dash, and Reef Burgers, Captain Pam's favorite. People come worldwide to enjoy this incredible sandbar.

Cruise in Style on a Private Yacht

Our luxury yacht rental in destin, florida offers an experience your group will never forget.

Bella Roma is a 70′ luxury motor yacht rental in Destin, Florida, servicing all of Fort Walton Beach, Miramar Beach, and surrounding areas throughout the Florida panhandle. This Destin yacht charter is perfect for family vacations, romantic getaways, or just relaxing with friends. We currently have three standard booking options for a maximum of 13 passengers on each cruise. These are bareboat cruises where you can either provide your own US Coast Guard licensed captain or choose one from our list of approved captains.

Three Private Yacht Rental Options

4 Hour Cruise ($3200)

Our four hour charters are available in either morning or afternoon time slots. See dolphins and enjoy the sun near Crab Island and Destin Harbor.

6 Hour Cruise ($4200)

During this charter, you can see both the Destin area (Crab Island) as well as the more rural areas of the Intercoastal Waterway and Spectre Island.

8 Hour Cruise ($5200)

Here’s How It Works

Choose the length of time you’re interested in and click on that option. Reserve your spot with a $1,000 deposit (plus taxes and fees) and we’ll charge your card for the remaining balance the week of your charter.

On the day of your charter, plan to arrive at the marina 15 minutes before your reservation so we can get everyone on board and depart on time. Bring any prepared food or adult beverages you’d like to enjoy. We’ll cruise around Destin Harbor, Choctawhatchee Bay, the Narrows (Intercoastal Waterway) and Crabb Island depending on what you’d like to see and do.

Pickup Location

Until April 30, you’ll get the boat at: Beach Weekend Marina 12 Miracle Strip Pkwy SW Fort Walton Beach, FL

After May 1st, we’ll be at: Baytowne Marina Sandestin, FL

BYOB Drinks & Alcohol on Your Charter

Alcoholic beverages are welcome on all trips for those who have reached the legal drinking age. (We check photo IDs.) While we don’t provide or serve alcohol, you are welcome to bring beer, wine, spirits, and mixers with you. Ice chests and bottled water are available onboard.

Our private sunset cruises in Destin, FL, depart each summer evening by reservation only.

• Two-hour sunset cruises depart at 5 p.m. and start at $350 overall for the charter, including fuel and all other fees and expenses.
• Three-hour sunset cruises depart at 4 p.m. and start at $475 overall for the charter, inclusive of fuel and all other fees and expenses. On Thursday nights, our trip itinerary will include the harbor fireworks.

Advance reservations are highly recommended, as our sunset cruises often sell out days or weeks ahead of time. We do accept same-day bookings when available.

We motored up to the dolphin watch area and saw dolphins right away, plenty of time to take pictures. We then snorkeled and the kids enjoyed seeing the hermit crabs crawling around their feet. We finished the sail without the motor, just the wind in the sails. Very relaxing sitting up front with your toes in the water.
