Luxury yacht 'Utopia IV' is one of the charter fleet's finest example of a yacht that has been carefully designed down to the very last detail to provide a truly one-of-a-kind superyacht vacation.

The 63m/206'8" 'Utopia IV' motor yacht built by the Italian shipyard Rossinavi is available for charter for up to 12 guests in 6 cabins. This multi-award winning yacht features interior styling by Team 4 Design.

From bow to stern, Utopia IV is brimming with an fantastic array of social and dining areas, both inside and out, making her the ideal yacht for relaxing and entertaining whilst on charter. Her features include a children's playroom, underwater lights, beach club and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2018, Utopia IV offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin, three double cabins and one twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

On your charter, you'll find plenty to keep you busy and entertained including a children's playroom, perfect for keeping younger guests happy and safe. Take a plunge in the pool under the sun and in addition head to the beach club and take advantage of indoor-outdoor living and entertaining. You can visit the well-equipped gym so that you can keep up with your fitness routine at sea or elsewhere, retreat to the deck jacuzzi and soak up the scenery.

Utopia IV benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter including satellite communications, keeping you connected on any voyage. Soak up the atmosphere after dark with dramatic underwater lights and in addition take advantage of the on board Wi-Fi and stay connected at all times. Guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by 4 x MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 24 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 33 knots with a range of up to 3,300 nautical miles at 15 knots. With a shallow draft of 2.2m/7'3" Utopia IV can anchor closer to coves and sheltered bays overnight. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

Set against the backdrop of your chosen cruising ground, you and your guests can enjoy fun on the water with the collection of water toys and accessories aboard Utopia IV. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. Guests can experience the thrill and adventure of riding one of the WaveRunners. Also there are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If that isn't enough Utopia IV also features fishing equipment and snorkelling equipment. Utopia: actually, it is real..._

Do you think it is impossible that Utopia explains and shows a different world? No, it isn’t, our science is your utopia.

Do you think it is impossible that, despite the skin-deep gigantism of its bulwarks, she still floats peacefully even in shallow waters? No, it isn’t, because Utopia is resulting logic, what was meant to happen, what it was meant to allow, and realised the unthinkable.

I am talking about a 63-metre long boat sailing unbelievably, with a very shallow draught, just a little over two metres. No, it isn’t impossible, because Utopia is born out of a mathematical formula for uniqueness. The interpreting clue to open the doors of this unique world is a logic key, made of Cartesian shapes and of hyper-contemporary style. Look at her: she speaks a dry language to you, showing her character within the limited space of a tweet. On Utopia it is horizon to take a selfie for you, it is her talking of a bursting future which frames you. It gives you the idea of something breaking, partitioning and dissecting space. It indicates a direction, it strikes the mirror of the sea and outlines its iconic avatar.

Maiden voyage

Perception and ideal portrayal of a boat. Utopia becomes an icon of navigation. Exploratoy power bent on the inside. The most intense journey is the near one , so near that it was only yesterday that it seemed so out of reach. The utopian appeal is to get close , surprising the others. Because it is efficient and handy like a tablet pc, it is the contemporary expression of the homo digitalis . The habit of a “clic“, acted normality: Utopia is moored in places for other inaccessible, with that size. But for Utopia size is not relevant. Or, if it is, it doesn’t prevent from dining, open decked, opposite villas, in private ports, in Miami or Fort Lauderdale’s canals , next to the life.

Fast, water-jet propelled, atlantic, designed for the Caribbean or moored within Florida’s seaports . Cover your face: you are in the picture those kids are taking, coming out of the club over there, with your boat behind them. It is so near them, it is the closest background for their focus. Do you still think this in impossible? Well, actually, it is real.

Continuing its long tradition of reliable and efficient high-performance yacht engines, the M96 series of MTU 2000 offers greater acceleration and low fuel consumption in 12 cylinders from 1700 bhp to 1920 bhp and 16 cylinders from 2185 bhp to 2600 bhp, which makes it particularly suitable for luxury and sport fishing. It is also supported by MTU’s Premium Yacht Service, which provides unprecedented support for the engine throughout its lifetime. Intuitive maneuverability: complex maneuvers are made more comfortable by automatically and skillfully managing all the propulsion systems. Compatibility with the engines – wide range of propulsion units supplied electronic or hydraulic OEM; proportional control capacity; operating mode of the joystick for the control of the propeller alone. GPS-based station maintenance – remains stationary automatically with a sophisticated GPS-based system.

Utopia IV hull lines are the result of a complex research started in 2007 when we financed a testing program in SSPA (Goteborg) with full comparison of 4 different hull models scaled from 60m projects range. Those projects have in common the target to achieve the best fast semi-displacement lines combined to the best sea-keeping properties. The 4 different hull concepts tank tests comparison unveiled not only which of the 4 hull lines where the most performing, but also the data resulting from this massive research indicated which features of the other 3 good hull should be integrated in the best one. Our idea was to build the perfect mixture of ideal features and properties for this new project called the “X series” by Arrabito Naval Architects. The final hull lines were giving much better results than expectations and, from the concept lines, we developed a totally new series of hull lines with the same concepts of 40 m, 50 m, obviously 60 m and 70 m hull sizes. We thought that this new hull-line concept (able to cruise at 12kts better that a full displacement hull line), could also achieve a speed up and over 30kts for 60 and even 70m. It could definitely represent the future of super and mega yachts naval architecture. With Utopia IV we achieved at first attempt certain results that many naval architects had been trying to achieve for decades, but we did better; the incredible top speed of Utopi a IV (33kts at sea-trial condition) was also better than what simulated in all tank tests. Recently we have also witnessed real hull lines dramatic tests as Utopia IV was cruising up to 26-27 kts with wave height over 2.5 m in the Atlantic Ocean showing. Utopia IV has excellent sea-keeping properties and very smooth comfortable cruising as predicted by the long tank testing series developed.

Additionally, a large al-fresco dining table and large bar complement this amazing area for entertaining guests. Forward of the bridge on boat's bow is a generous seating and sunning area with enough space for large parties or to get away from it all.

Her sundeck features a large area dedicated to guest entertainment and relaxation with numerous spots for guests to lounge and take in a 360-degree view of the surroundings. A dedicated barbecue is located forward of her seating areas for an informal outdoor meal.

Main Salon & Dining

Two 4 1/2 meter sliding glass doors on the main deck allow a connection between indoors and out. Step into her spacious and well-appointed main salon featuring elegant contemporary furnishings and lighting built into her walls creating a natural light effect. She has been outfitted in creamy whites, muted grays, and light woods—letting pops of turquoise and the ocean views offered up from the floor-to-ceiling windows reign supreme. A dedicated bar is located on her port side as you enter providing a comfortable refuge to enjoy a craft cocktail. A large TV is hidden cleverly in a mirror forward of the seating area.

Forward of the main salon is her dedicated dining room divided from the main salon by a partition of rich wood paneling. Lights are built into her walls and ceiling creating a comfortable and elegant dining experience for guests. Twelve guests can dine comfortably in this generous space.

Master Stateroom & Lounge

Unsurprisingly, the forward-facing owner’s suite is the vessel’s crown jewel. Besides its palatial proportions, it is filled with sexy details - the bedroom overlooks a glass-enclosed Jacuzzi bath separating his and her bathrooms. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open out onto a 20-foot-long fixed balcony for enjoying the outdoors in complete privacy. A dedicated owner's salon and office allow owner's to watch TV or curl up with a good book in complete privacy.

Just aft of the bridge is the vessel's skylounge which was designed with family in mind. Kick back and watch a movie on her hidden TV or enjoy a competitive game of cards. A pantry is located off the skylounge for quick guest service.

If you live in Miami or Miami Beach, chances are you’ve seen the most storied and recognized yacht in the sea, UTOPIA IV sailing across the blue waters of Biscayne Bay. Owned by powerhouse couple  Loren and JR Ridinger, Co-Founders of Market America I SHOP.COM, the jaw-dropping 2018, 63 m / 206′9″ luxury motor yacht was built by Rossinavi.

Since then, the beauty has played host to some of the greatest names in the entertainment world, as well as personal friends and business associates of the Ridingers, with guests ranging from Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez to Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys, DJ Khaled , Fat Joe , Alejandro Sanz , Carmelo and Lala Anthony, Jamie Foxx and many others that have come to cruise aboard the pinnacle of luxury.

Due to the ongoing restrictions of the pandemic and an overall decline in air travel, the yachting industry has taken off this year.

“There is an interesting phenomenon going on with the yacht chartering industry during COVID times and why it works is appealing,” notes JR Ridinger. “Superyachts offer an amazing solution for affluent or successful individuals and families or business owners to quarantine or social distance in luxury. UTOPIA IV is equipped with a digital office, so you can stay connected from anywhere in your own bubble.”

To provide the safest environment, the Utopia IV team requires that all crew and guests have a current COVID-19 negative test on file with the yacht prior to boarding in order to maintain a COVID-free “safety bubble.”

Over the summer, UTOPIA IV was an in-demand charter by the top billionaire Wall Street titans who wanted to escape the mundane of their homes and safely quarantine at sea—with all the necessities and luxuries available to them throughout their time aboard.

Recently, UTOPIA was reflagged as a United States vessel, honored by the United States Superyacht Association. Currently, the superyacht is available for charter, including sailing in the U.S., The Bahamas and throughout the Caribbean.

The 63 metre Rossinavi motor yacht M/Y Utopia IV has been spotted in Miami following an incident involving a collision with a tanker on Christmas Eve last year. While the superyacht itself remains relatively unscathed considering the impact of the collision, investigations will need to be continued in order to identify the cause of the accident.

It has been confirmed that owners Loren and JR Ridinger were not on board during the accident and that there were no fatalities or serious injuries as a result of the crash.

M/T Tropic Breeze was struck by the 63 metre Rossinavi superyacht M/Y Utopia IV at 22:03 pm on Christmas Eve just 15 miles off the coast of New Providence Island in the Bahamas. The 49 metre product tanker was travelling on its proper watch when it was ‘rear ended’ by the aluminium hull charter vessel. The collision led to the tanker sinking 2000 feet below sea level, however, all seven crew members were rescued without injury by M/Y Amara who were quick to respond to the distress call.

Several reports online have suggested that crew on-board M/Y Utopia IV did suffer minor injuries, however, no official statements have yet been made.

The tankers cargo onboard included non-persistent materials only - all of which have floated to the waters surface and subsequently have been easily dissipated into the atmosphere, meaning clean up action is only minimal. The 32 year old tanker was found by the authorities to be fully-compliant with all national and international safety and vessel integrity standards just a few weeks before the incident. Due to the depth of the ocean at the location where the incident occurred, it has been decided by authorities that the tanker can not be salvaged safely.

M/Y Utopia IV was originally commissioned by an American client in November 2014. Utopia IV’s unique features include a 70sqm beach club, three spa pools and a helipad. The 11m beam allows for a total interior volume of 986gt, and features a fast-displacement aluminium hull. After the launch, Rossinavi described the vessel as ‘fast and powerful’, with a maximum speed of 33 knots, an average cruising speed of 26 knots, and a range of  about 3,300 nautical miles. The speed upon impact is currently unknown.

How in this day and age can this happen!!!! BNWAS and radar and posting a proper lookout on the bridge. Maybe too much reliance on technology and not enough looking out the window with a set of bins! Whether the master likes it or not it is down to him.

Delivered in 2018 by the Rossinavi shipyard, UTOPIA IV is the harmonious balance of a luxurious superyacht and high-performance sport yacht.

With an exterior featuring coupe-like design cues of long handsome lines coupled with a slender silhouette, her interior is sleek and wide and can sleep 12 guests across six spacious suites. The tastefully appointed interior blends minimalism with sophisticated European taste sourced from haute couture brands Hermes and Armani.

The forward-facing owner’s suite has a commanding 180-degree panoramic view provided by floor-to-ceiling windows and features a grand bathroom with a double shower and jacuzzi. The master suite also contains a sitting room, office, and private balcony.

Main Salon & Dining

Two 4 1/2 meter sliding glass doors on the main deck allow a connection between indoors and out. Step into her spacious and well-appointed main salon featuring elegant contemporary furnishings and lighting built into her walls creating a natural light effect. She has been outfitted in creamy whites, muted grays, and light woods—letting pops of turquoise and the ocean views offered up from the floor-to-ceiling windows reign supreme. A dedicated bar is located on her port side as you enter providing a comfortable refuge to enjoy a craft cocktail. A large TV is hidden cleverly in a mirror forward of the seating area.

Forward of the main salon is her dedicated dining room divided from the main salon by a partition of rich wood paneling. Lights are built into her walls and ceiling creating a comfortable and elegant dining experience for guests. Twelve guests can dine comfortably in this generous space.

Master Stateroom & Lounge

Unsurprisingly, the forward-facing owner’s suite is the vessel’s crown jewel. Besides its palatial proportions, it is filled with sexy details - the bedroom overlooks a glass-enclosed Jacuzzi bath separating his and her bathrooms. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open out onto a 20-foot-long fixed balcony for enjoying the outdoors in complete privacy. A dedicated owner's salon and office allow owner's to watch TV or curl up with a good book in complete privacy.

Just aft of the bridge is the vessel's skylounge which was designed with family in mind. Kick back and watch a movie on her hidden TV or enjoy a competitive game of cards. A pantry is located off the skylounge for quick guest service.

Forward of the skylounge is a dedicated playroom for kids which features a large TV and couch.

The lower deck features a large reception area with a beautiful swimming pool with fantastic views of the surrounding ocean.

A large full-beam seating area is located on her bridge deck aft with room for at least 50 guests. Additionally, a large al-fresco dining table and large bar complement this amazing area for entertaining guests. Forward of the bridge on boat's bow is a generous seating and sunning area with enough space for large parties or to get away from it all.

Report finds inadequate lookout led to Utopia IV collision with tanker

An accident report issued by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has found that the collision between 63 metre superyacht Utopia IV and a gas tanker was caused by the crew not maintaining a lookout.

The two vessels collided on December 23, 2021, approximately 15 miles north-northwest of New Providence Island. Utopia IV was carrying seven charter guests and 12 crewmembers at the time and was making passage to Bimini Island when she hit the stern of the 49 metre steel tanker Tropic Breeze at 10pm. The force of the collision pierced the stern of the tanker, which caused it to sink to a depth of 2,000 metres and its crew to abandon ship.

The report details that Utopia IV was travelling at 20 knots when she struck Tropic Breeze. The captain was not in the wheelhouse when the incident occurred having left 12 minutes prior to check on the guests. According to the report, the bosun, who was left in the wheelhouse, was not certified as mate or captain and therefore was not allowed by regulations to perform watchstanding duties by himself. It is also understood that the bosun was multitasking and logging navigation data "and therefore was distracted from performing effective lookout duties", the report detailed. 

The tanker was travelling at a speed of five knots and carrying a cargo of marine gas oil and liquid petroleum gas. The captain of Tropic Breeze had also left the wheelhouse to use the restroom prior to the incident.

None of the watchstanders on Utopia IV or Tropic Breeze reported seeing the other vessel on radar, which is set to a three-mile radius, while visibility was understood to be "good" in spite of bow spray reported to have been collecting on the windshield of Utopia IV . The report determined that, given the relative speed of both vessels, it was likely that none of the watchstanders had looked at the radar in the 12 minutes before the collision or completed a visual assessment of the surroundings. 

CCTV in the galley of Utopia IV captured the moment of the collision. Equipment and several of the yacht's crew were thrown to the deck or into bulkheads; three crew sustained minor injuries. Utopia IV ’s captain was in the main dining area and was thrown into the forward bulkhead and door frame. 

The chief engineer of Tropic Breeze investigated the damage and discovered that the engine room was flooding rapidly. The captain made a VHF distress call and decided to abandon the vessel; a liferaft was launched. Meanwhile, Utopia IV ’s chief engineer restarted the yacht’s engines, which had shut down after the collision, and a distress call was made from the wheelhouse. The yacht attempted to rescue the crew from the tanker but sea swells prevented them from boarding. The tanker crew were eventually rescued by a passing motor yacht, Amara , which heard the distress calls and diverted its course to assist.

Utopia IV ’s chief stewardess told investigators she saw the Tropic Breeze ’s navigation lights illuminated following the collision. According to the Utopia IV’ s crew, the Utopia IV ’s lights were all on.

As well as damage to both vessels, 156,500 gallons of marine gas oil was lost with the tanker. The accident resulted in nearly $7.9 million in damages, the report revealed. 

As Utopia IV approached Tropic Breeze from directly astern, the yacht (as the overtaking vessel) was required by 72 COLREGS to give way to the tanker. However, as the watchstanders on both Utopia IV and Tropic Breeze failed to maintain a proper lookout, both were unable to identify the risk of collision and respond suitably. The report said: "Although the Utopia IV bore responsibility as the overtaking vessel to manoeuvre away from the tank vessel, once the yacht’s intentions were unclear and a close-quarters situation had developed, the tank vessel should have taken action." 

NTSB investigators concluded that the probable cause of the collision was Utopia IV ’s wheelhouse crew not maintaining a proper lookout and therefore not identifying the vessel they were overtaking, but with contribution from Tropic Breeze’s bridge team also not maintaining a proper lookout.

“A proper lookout by suitably trained crewmembers is required by the Convention on the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972 and is essential in determining the risk of collision,” the report said. “The effective use of all available resources by a bridge team, including visual scanning, radars, electronic charts, and an automatic identification system, increases collective situational awareness and contributes to a safe navigation watch. Operators and crews should ensure that vessel bridge teams are staffed with certificated/credentialed mariners who are familiar with all bridge navigation equipment and able to independently take immediate action.” ​

The owners of the vessel had previously said in a statement that they were "terribly saddened" by the incident.

Diddy 's homes were raided in the U.S. to kick off the week -- but the guy's own private jet is miles away in a completely different nation ... although it's unclear if he's aboard himself.

TMZ has tracked Diddy's personal LoveAir LLC jet -- the well-known black Gulfstream 5 that Diddy has flaunted and flown for years now -- and it looks like the aircraft is currently on the ground in Antigua ... which is down in the Caribbean.

Based on the flight activity, viewed by TMZ, Diddy's jet has been up and down California between Sunday and Monday -- taking off from Sacramento Executive Airport Sunday evening around 5:30 PM PT and landing at Palm Springs Int'l Airport about an hour later.

An hour after that, around 7:30 PM PT, Diddy's jet took off from Palm Springs yet again and landed at Van Nuys Airport, which is in the L.A. area, about 30 minutes later around 8:00 PM PT. Around 9 AM PT Monday, the jet took off from Van Nuys airport and landed at some point in Antigua.

The plane is currently grounded there, although the flight data has yet to update and register him as having officially landed. In any case, it's definitely Diddy's jet ... no question.

The only thing that remains unanswered is whether Diddy is on the plane -- we don't have any evidence he is at this point ... and we also don't know what's happening on the scene.

As we reported ... two of Diddy's homes, in L.A. and MIami, were swarmed by federal law enforcement agencies Monday -- and armed officials stormed the properties, taking some people into custody ... including his sons Justin and King . Unclear if any arrests took place.

The raids are believed to have stemmed from accusations hurled at Diddy in multiple lawsuits -- which have touched on alleged human and sex trafficking, among other claims ... all of which he's vehemently denied.

We've reached out to Diddy's rep and lawyers ... so far, no word back.
