2006 Manta 44 PowerCat OWNER'S HEALTH FORCES SALE, BRING ALL OFFERS!Manta Catamarans built a number of different models of sailing and power Cats, starting with the Manta 38 in 1991.  Other sailing models include the Manta 40, the Manta 42, both sailing Cats, and the Manta 44 Power Cat.  There are currently 127 Sail Cats and 11 Power Cats that are safely ferrying their owners all around the world.  "Wanderlust" is a fine example of the 44 Power Cat.  The 44 was built as an owner’s boat with the port hull being dedicated to the owner’s quarters with queen sized berth with a great deal of storage and a very large head. There is a sliding door that closes off the owner’s suite from the main saloon.  The starboard hull contains both an aft VIP guest suite, full head with separate shower stall and a second guest berth forward. There are numerous unique options, as you will read below, like a valuables safe and long gun locker under the owner’s berth and a two fuel polishing systems. She is very economical when run at low speeds but can easily cruise at 15 knots with a top speed of around 22 knots. There is full galley off the main saloon which is the center of activity on many cruising yachts.  The helm deck includes a completely enclosed living area that can be opened in good weather.  She is a very stable cruising platform that draws only 30”, perfect for the Florida Keys and the Bahamas.  She has been well cared for and ready to cruise with engine service just completed and a fresh bottom job.  If you are looking to go cruising or want a floating home, come take a look.

Brand: Manta 42

The 42 Manta is well respected among cruisers as a very capable and practical long range cruising yacht. Built in Sarasota, Florida to very high standards, she is safe, comfortable and fast. Built in safety features include the laminated hull to deck joint and collision bulkheads creating watertight compartments in the ends of each hull. Beginning with the design of the Manta 38 in 1993 in St Petersburg, Florida and ending with the last Manta 42 Mark IV built in 2008. Several 42 Mantas have completed circumnavigations and many others are cruising to distant harbors. The Manta 42 enjoys one of the highest percentages of live aboard owners of any production boat.
