I Love the staff at sailboat Bay. They really try to meet the needs and take care of any concerns of the tenants. Great place.

This is a NIce complex, where you can find afortable housing. The units are very big. I would recomend this placeif you are considering living in the eastside of Charlotte!

Back when I first moved here six years ago, I would've rated it a 5 , because I liked it here, the staff was very professional, understanding and on top of everything. But now, fast forward, we have new staff and they are lazy, VERY unprofessional, rude and careless. The neighborhood has fallen apart and the staff doesn't respond fast. and what I don't understand is how are they low on their budget when they get all these rent payments. These apartments have mold and old outdated appliances, they have a widely known roach infestation, you can see them crawling in the breezeway halls. My older brother stopped by one night to check on our mother and he seen a rat and possum in the hall. My mother even seen a big dead rat when she went out to get her morning coffee. Also while googling for reviews on this place, I seen that people made reviews about bed bugs as well as what I am saying. The amenities aren't exactly what they have listed, don't get me started on the laundry room. it reeks of strong urine and when we went to clean our laundry, we weren't expecting by the time the machine would be done, someone had fecal matter sitting in it and we had to throw away a good bit of our towels and clothes, when we brought it to the staff and landlord , they gave us the same run around like they are doing currently, they can't help us. AND our clothes didn't fully dry. They even drained their lake. They haven't had the pool open since 2014 because of how destructive the children are in here. the children vandalize and damage the neighborhood property and tenants property as well. They simply have no respect here. With all of the problems already in this complex , they sit in the office and do nothing. But want to treat elderly sickly people unfairly. And when they were reported before they tried to cover everything up so they wouldn't have this apartment complex shut down then they go back to being lazy, unprofessional and rude. If my family have to be kicked out without no sort of help or understanding, I want them to be seen and evaluated and don't stop because that's when they'll resume being messy. I tried to be nice and say nothing but after this treatment , I am ready to air them out and warn others before they move here and regret it.
