Reservations Concierge

Do you have a great attitude, love to provide exceptional service, and are looking for a full-time position with some flexibility ? Do you have call center, sales, or even travel industry or cruise line experience? If so, this might be the right job for you! We're looking for a full-time Reservations Concierge who will take inbound calls from Travel Professionals and Direct Consumers and sell SeaDream's award-winning voyages. Hours may vary but we’re flexible - you must be able to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays (but not Christmas Day or Thanksgiving Day).
Here are the job specifics:
Sell SeaDream Yacht Club voyages through travel agent partners and consumers via inbound call center activities.
Achieves (at minimum) service level standards and revenue targets as regularly established/periodically updated by manager. Participates in Quality Assurance reviews and sales/service training.
Provides exemplary pre- and post-booking service to travel agent partners and guests. Handles objections, service requests, and navigates agent service issues as needed.
Maintains positive relationship with travel agent partners and guests that encourages repeat business.
Follows prescribed sales & service paths, methodology, and uses company scripts and methods to sell and service inbound business.
Communicates post-sale and voyage enhancement opportunities to travel agent partners and guests as required- meets sales goals.
Assists with other duties/projects as assigned.

Requirements:
Must be able to legally work in the US, and without sponsorship.
Local to the Ft Lauderdale / Plantation vicinity. There is no relocation or consideration for out-of-area candidates.
Available Saturdays, possible Sundays and some holidays.
Handle multiple telephone calls and emails throughout the day
Must speak, read, and write English fluently - native level fluency
Must be experienced with MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook (email)
Must have reliable transportation

SeaDream Yacht Club, a small entrepreneurial company, set up shop in August 2001 and a month later took possession of two luxury cruise ships originally known as the Sea Goddess I and II (later operated by Seabourn Cruise Line as Seabourn Goddes I and II and finally renamed to SeaDream I and II). The company was established by Larry Pimentel, an American, and his business partner Atle Brynestad, the Norwegian founder of Seabourn Cruise Line. Brynestad has since become the company's chairman and sole owner.
The cruise line offers "ultra-luxury cruises on mega-yachts," and potential cruisers need only look to see who's in charge here to get an idea of what's in store for them - the owner is Atle Brynestad, at one time the largest shareholder of the old Royal Viking Line and the founder, in 1987, of Seabourn Cruise Line. The two luxury cruise ships sail in the same regions, calling in some lesser-known ports that are inaccessible to mega-ships. From May to October, both vessels sail weeklong Mediterranean itineraries, primarily to and from Nice, France. Among the scheduled calls are less-visited ports such as Portofino, Italy; Cassis and St. Tropez, France; and Valencia, Spain. Starting in October, the duo operates weekly Caribbean cruises from Miami for 10 weeks before moving to a homeport in St. Thomas. The Miami journeys call at San Salvador, Rose Island and Nassau in the Bahamas, the Turks and Caicos, and Key West, FL. St. Thomas itineraries include visits to ports in the U.S. and British Virgin Islands and the Grenadines. Each ship is equipped with a watersports marina that can be lowered for swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, windsurfing, waterskiing, etc. Both ships are stocked with complimentary equipment for waterborne activities, including wave runners, glass-bottom kayaks, Laser sailboats, a banana boat, water skis, snorkeling gear and standup paddleboards.

Sea Dream Yacht Club operates two luxury mega yachts that boast a “yachting not cruising” mantra. They began sailing in 1984 under the name of Sea Goddess I and Sea Goddess II. The sailing yachts were refurbished in 2002 and 2007. They offer five star service to their pampered guests, not carrying more than 112 guests on each vessel. Their itineraries include Caribbean, Mediterranean, the Amazon, and Northern Europe. Plus, they will be heading to Asia in 2013.
In addition to the cruises that they offer, SeaDream yachts are often chartered by corporations, families, and other groups.
